1. Nike openly admits to exploiting
2. He is in an elite PvE guild, but complains about a patch that makes you play CoE as intended. (for the shame of all DnT)

What we have here is a fine example of OP’ness
This + Executioner + Exposed Weakness + First Strikes (30-30-x-x-x)
50 + 20 + 10 + 10 = 90% That damage seems like it would be too much, even with it being conditional in my opinion.
I am curious what all is being used for the calculation.

Since you are going for magic find I will suggest an Opal Orb in your other weapon.
(not sure how much you are dedicated to MF, but there are weapons with built in MF as well.)
I use the spider bow which has 3% mf on the weapon and superior Sigil of Luck. When the luck stacks are at 25 I swap to another weapon with MF on each weapon and Opal orbs in them as well. (I don’t wear this set anywhere but in CS
If you want condition damage from the sigil I would suggest looking at the givers weapons (they have 10% condition duration built in) & one of the following
-Sigil that procs a condition on weapon swap
-Sigil that has a bonus to your conditions
-Sigil that on swap give you back endurance (more dodge caltrops)
All of these options fit your criteria GL
I would suggest if you want to use MF and clear a dungeon you try some fractals. This will certainly put you to the test depending on the difficulty and the rewards scale up to a point (somewhere around 40-50).

I hope they come up with a new batch of legendaries before the end of the year. Truth is while we have one for each weapon type each of the weapons is fairly distinct, and with the huge effort involved I’m not going to make one I dont find appealing. So I want to put in the effort but the selection currently available just doesnt fit my the style of my characters mostly.
I know how you feel, I got the Dreamer, and Bolt because I think they look really nice. I personally don’t like the way the incinerator looks, so I am hoping for new Legendary Daggers, & while I wait I am working on Quip.
My GM got 10 clovers on 20 tries (recipe for 10 clovers). So basically, 1/20 success rate.
I have a guildie who used the 10 clover method and got clovers 80% of the time! She so lucky (she has Dreamer, Incinerator, and Quip) – Lin I’m so Jelly
OP- Try the single method to be safe. (You will feel more rewarded – I know I do even if I am just stashing a few clovers a day)
I am thinking that we will be able to get it from the new dungeon this month.
(They mentioned having some limited time rewards)
Also OP I would suggest if you like the new skin better use a transmutation stone GL

I first made the Dreamer with the old effect and I loved it!
Then they updated the Dreamer and I went bonkers loved it even more!
Now I have finished Bolt and I could not be happier with it.
(Lightning Aura FTW! <3 whoever made that aura so much!)
Next up Quip! (30% done)
Long time investment, but when I think about how I will have this for the rest of the game and it will auto upgrade I am satisfied. (also keeps me busy)
Tip if you are hard core farming for a legend and start to burn out like I have teaching new people how to run a dungeon or an aspect of the game can be fun, and productive. (You get to laugh at them and help them become better players)
I spent a while teaching people how to run CoE for Lodestones and occassionally they would give me a core or lodestone for my patience. (never asked for it – gladly took it) I would always make sure at the beginning and throughout the run to mention I will buy any cores or lodestones on the grey market so we both get a better deal.
I was working with guildies and teaching them so there was no concern about a bad trade on the gray market.
My theory is that we will keep the legends we have now, and when they introduce new weaponsets they will have “New Legendary Skins”.

I am colorblind and I can attest that the above statement is off topic.
I use ambush trap when farming.
The mystic forge stone counts as a random item.
When used in forge you get the average rarity (E+E+R+Stone = Exotic)

Seriously, just make the bridge event mandatory in the short term before a full revamp and that will patch up a major part of the farming that goes on until the whole of the dungeon sees the revamp it was promised. I think that’d be a good compromise.
I wonder if the footprints being short are intentional. I feel the footprints I leave with my bolt are gone sooner than the ones left by the greatswords. I wonder if we are meat to have less footfalls since the legendary weapon’s we have are one-handed vs two-handed.

*Note If you are in a BL and a Queue Pops for another BL you will not have damaged armor even if you leave mid-fight.

There will be a lot of complaining, however that is primarily what you will see in forums. If you want useful forums I suggest joining a guild who has their own forums for tactics and strategy. I echo several of your statements, however I also realize that when someone reads this they are going to be insulted. You are bashing the whole of thief forums essentially, and that just rude on your part. Now to address your issue.
I would suggest for a low level thief to try using the shortbow until you have learned how to handle kiting multiple mobs. Circle kiting seems to be the most effective since the mobs take extra time usually to turn and move forward.
SB3 will give you an evade when you need on and are out of dodges
Pistol Whip also offers a very nice evasion while doing DPS
Give these two a try and let me know how it goes. I know personally leveling up I used the shortbow often until I could get adequate gear since it gives you so much more survivability through evasion and positioning. The Shortbow Combined with the Sword/ Pistol for PW makes you considerable more survivable.

Anet has not "completely nerfed our dungeon viability ". I did at least 5 dungeons yesterday and I was more than viable, I was optimal!
I agree the guardian should get some quickness love as well.
We get access to quickness though an elite & I think that this should be considered and buffed.
So if I want to hit a target with BV who has stability I have to use Flanking Strike.

Summary
To get a legendary weapon you have to grind the same things over and over and they should not be so easy to get that everyone has one.
As far as doing the same things over and over. It is possible to do this however the primary way of getting a legendary is:
Gift of Mastery –
Gain XP, Gain Karma, Explore the World, Jump/Defeat Enemies in WvW
Gift of Fortune-
Spend Money
Legendary Weapon Gift-
Mastery of a Dungeon, Mastery of to crafting professions, Spend Money
Precursor-
Luck/ Save for it
How you go about doing all this is up to the player and how they decide to play.
I think the way it is currently limited to keeping everyone from having one is the high cost associated with a legendary weapon/precursor. There are other way it could be done I suppose , but I find the current method is working well. I do not see everyone with a legendary weapon.
What do you think could be done to make it so everyone is able to get one, but prevent the majority of players from having one?

1. Represented guild and bought influence until we could do the Guild missions
2. Guested on that Guilds server (My home is JQ, and I guested to this guild’s server which is not JQ)

4. Only got credit for a Dynamic Event (relating to the guild mission)
Is this working correctly? Do I need to rep the guild & have the same home server?

The game crashes when putting equipped armor into bank.
-The setup-
Bank Tab open
Hero Panel open
Click & drag armor that is currently equipped on your hero and place it in a bank slot.
This will cause your client to crash.

I manage to get 10 rares on average in a farming stretch on Cursed Shore.
The best places for me are the Spider at the south camp, and the plinx event right before and right after the roflcopter. GL

This is terrible news for me. I participated in the event for a while then lagged really hard. I read about this with the excitement of possibly getting a cool exotic! I no longer have a chance to get it Anet pls bring vendor back at least long enough where someone could farm 1k shells.
