Main cities as well, rarely see anyone else, except of course Lion Arch. Lower level zones are affected as well, Human starter area are the least to suffer from this. Am now in Charr starter area and I saw only 5 players so far…This was a very active zone as I remember from beta and launch.
— Gwen
I have completed one zone yesterday (Lornar’s Pass) and working on another now (Dredgehaunt Cliffs), during which I only met 3 or 4 players in hours of playing.
The more I move to higher level zones (am 54 now) the more empty they are.
Maybe am playing less active zones, are there zones which are more active than others for each level range as per map?
Thing is my server status is Full most of the time I play.
Thanks

Any idea if the events are for level 80s (high levels > 60-80)? beside being a one time event, I did not appreciate Halloween’s where we had to be high levels and/or youngster with a lot of free time (Clock tower -.-) to enjoy it + lots of grind or money…I would not care if its not a one time thing. One time event with level and condition restrictions. Why all the restriction when it comes to events and new content?

I’m here because my girlfriend went to get food so I’m waiting for her to get back to start it lol
lol … still cant log in T,T
— Gwen
I’m in and had no crash or problems whatsoever….
Then why are you here?
— Gwen
I was kicked out when attempted to get into instance, cant log in again…. I don’t want to miss the event!!
— Gwen
Why do you feel entitled to have everything that’s available? Do you go to a casino and expect to come out with a return? Do you feel you are required to buy gems for something that’s completely optional?
Get over it. They are rare skins for a reason. You can’t always have everything. I want the shield skin badly but I don’t feel like I’m entitled to have it.
Casino ? Seriously?
@Volomon.9147
You are not the only one feeling that way… T,T

A screenshot to your achievement.

I am level 46 and could not finish Act 2 without help, I had to run 3 new maps for that. Not sure how am gonna do this for my lowbies. A.Net should have mentioned the level requirement… deceiving us like this, thank you very much…
— Gwen
Yea it for high level only, this really annoying. Act 2 maps are levels 35-56. My character is level 46 and could not finish without help. >:/
— Gwen
I don’t know why am not able to edit my last post…I was wondering if this event with same rewards will carry out next year? If not (like in GW1 – different rewards each year) it will suck really hard. A.Net what happened to playing fair and NOT RUSH into leveling to enjoy the game you worked hard on.
— Gwen
I don’t know what you’re talking about I ran this on three characters two of which were under level 10 to get all the chapters in the book. The hardest one for me was on my level 8 in the crypts because the fire in there and the traps if you timed it wrong was an instant kill. Other than that I had no issues with any of my characters getting all 6 chapters, heck 5 of the chapters don’t even require you to go anywhere close to mobs. Well I take that back, the one in Kessix Hills if you don’t go all the way around the bend and try to run through the bandit camp area will get you or the bats on the cliff side there. But otherwise I think you may have just been oddly unlucky with aggro. I always explore high level zones with low level alts as an avid alt-o-holic and try to complete all content for holiday events as soon as they come out not when my character is “level” appropriate to the zone.
It’s ACT 2 were talking here -.- !
— Gwen
Now that Act 2 is located in >level 55 makes me wonder about future Acts locations, A.Net please why punishing lower levels? Punishing casual players just because they are enjoying the game slowly leveling…Come on.
— Gwen
They should put in mind different capabilities for different people when creating such activity. As an older person myself this has been difficult and frustrating since I only need the achievement. Jumping is fine and i like it, its the speed of the acid engulfing you…slow it down please… stop raising our pressure like this…as mentioned above, what makes it even more frustrating that its for limited period of time….
— Gwen
Positives constructive feedback is always nice !! I just wanted to say that people usually don’t complain without a reason. I love this game a lot which makes me upset to see what is going on in forum in regards to Halloween events T,T
Cheers
— Gwen
People aren’t board of GW2 rather than being disappointed, guess you have not read threads very well and just don’t get it, don’t you?
For casual player this event is not fun, but a kind of punishment for not advancing into the game fast enough. Take Ac1 for example…you need to be at least level 33 to be able to finish it without help.
A fact that BLCs are not giving you what its suppose to, paying a lot of money to be rewarded with ordinary items. Even the new mystic forges chests has almost similar chances (Bug: not all boosters work)
Achievements that forces you to grind either carving pumpkins scattered or skeletons out of door which either bugged or don’t give you enough kills.
Please pay more attention, for example:
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/halloween/Halloween-has-not-been-fun
Ah and forgot to add, new costumes that require real money, I know you can trade for gold but as I said, for whoever advanced in game enough to accumulate enough gold to trade for gems…

Act 1 Mad Memoires VI is located in a level 25-35 map which I could travel there since my main was level 42 then (now level 45). My other characters are level 14 and below, tried to travel there with my level 14 but almost died at cave entrance.
I am not sure about future Acts, any idea if hey are going to be in even more higher level areas? I don’t want to rush into leveling.
Thanks

I knew this would happen first thing when I read about the black lion chest update, I saw this happening to many games I liked, played and eventually quit. Gambling is becoming a part of online gaming nowadays, items with limited period as well…just to keep you spending your money on a Free For Life product…I know they need it to keep things going but even without these gambling boxes players are spending a lot, not to mention what most of us know about quantity of copies that were sold even before beta start.
Its greed wherever you go….just greed. I was defending GW2 claiming that it will never turn out as other greedy games out there, guess I was so very mistaken…this is just disappointing…
— Gwen
Is there any way to get that in game shirt? I have also kept an eye on twitter and FB (at least sites I know of) for an opportunity to get it but did not see one.. now its one of the rewards for Halloween Diorama..so upset…
— Gwen
Am asking about Lifetime Survivor not the monthly.
BTW, does PvP deaths count as well? cuz deaths in PvP counts in / Deaths emote.
— Gwen
(edited by Oorjuwa.1682)
Any news on this one? I just want to know if I can get this title on a new character even though my main has died so many times.. or maybe only resets after death and not to stop counting permanently. I got this one in GW1 and I would like to gain it in GW2.
Anet? please…

A second response, same one…claiming that I have received the items on 21st Sept 2012 although I made it clear that I did not…

We’re writing to you today in response to your support ticket asking for help with Collector’s Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition in-game items.
These in-game items are consumable, and are provided to your account using the in-game mail system. You can leave them in the in-game mail for as long as you want. Once you take them out of the in-game mail into a character’s inventory, be sure not to delete the character with those items in their inventory.
On Friday, 9/21/2012, we replaced these items on the account by sending another copy of them in another in-game mail. But there are a couple of things you should know:
•Each item can only be used once per account. If you already used the first copy of the item you received, the new copy you receive will not be functional.
•We can trigger a second distribution of items just one time per account. So when you are deleting characters in the future, take care to move your special items to your storage so that you do not delete the one-time items.
Thanks for your patience as we worked out the resolution to these issues, and thanks as well for your support of Guild Wars 2!

Mine is stuck at 21126 exp, and not progressing. I thought it resets when that happens.
— Gwen
Seriously, I thought since they are too busy fixing the game Ill just wait, but things are getting better. Sent a ticket and waiting…
— Gwen
I just sent a ticket… this is taking too long to give back few items…
— Gwen
So they are returning the items now? cuz I have not received anything. Which character they are sending items to?
My first ticket was sent on the 25th and the second on Sep 3rd, but I have closed it once they’ve opened forums and saw this thread.
— Gwen
That warning content at support page was not there before, I checked everywhere on head start..I could not even resume playing the game when I discovered that I have lost my items. But support confirmed that they will be solving this.
My second ticket regarding this issue was created 2 days ago. As long as am getting the items I have paid for I really don’t care if its their fault or not although There was absolutely no warning regrading this matter until it actually occurred.
By the way, I meant to say it but I forgot. Buying the 2000 gem upgrade results in NOTHING being delivered. Ouch.
Thanks for the warning, I thought of doing that but had no idea it is a useless and a wate of money solution.
