I would like to see legnedary weapon not as item you can lose or salvage by accident but as Hall of Monuments skin that can be used by all characters. Also if your account get stolen no one could destroy your weapon that you worked for hours to get.

Its been known for some time now.
It hits more than 3 targets (5 I think) and you can dodge while doing it so maybe thats why it on 15 s cd and do less damage.
So outside of your silli “gvg” or as I call it clusterkitten, battels goes like this:
Far Shiverzerg takes tower, keep etc
Let “owner” take it
Far Shiverzerg do not defend taken towers, keeps etc.
When enough towers are to siege (whole border) Far Shiverzerg shows up and 15 minutes whole border is paint green.
So basicly is just “trading” objectives for wxp

“Funny” thing – Staggering Banner numer 2 skill when you hold Banner of Defense have the same bug as Staggering Blow – roots you for 1 second after using it….
1. Why Final Thrust got so obvious animation since you know too telegraphed attacks is Warrior problem?

I think best way to fight you is not to fight at all. Paint all maps green I will deafeat you with boredom.
Also, if you pick up burst mastery, you can’t even remove 3, at most 2. They conflict with each other and there’s no reward for pairing traits. This discourages build variation, contrary to what they were trying to implement.

Recently I read that in Wildstar they use mob to balance classes. They created mob called Bob. Average player should be able to kill Bob in 30 sec. If ability is too powerful for Bob it will be too powerful in pvp and pve.
I think Warrior is Guild Wars 2 Bob. They balanced classes aroudn him.
I wonder if they give us more sustain or just nerf damage and send mail “pleas reroll guardian, balance is done, we are going to delate our Bob” :P
I think last stand shares a cd with balanced stance… so picking them both is of no use. I use endure pain or fear me instead.
Also, more crit damage, less chance.
Last Stand do not share cooldown with Balanced Stance. Using Balanced Stance utility do not put Last Stand into 90 sec cooldown. Using Last Stand do not put Balanced Stance in 40 sec cooldown. If you not sure please test like I did and dont spread misinformation.
Also less crit damge, more power and precision. Dev confirmed that at 50% crit damage precision become more important.

Thief have a privilege to run in paper armor in wvw. OP invest in tougness till you get 2,8 – 3k armor. It may not save you but it can give you time to react.
Totaly agree. Charrs are ignored and they took easy route by just streching armors form human model to charr. Only armor that looks good for me and is well desingned is cultural heavy T3, but it still have clipping issue with most faces ( tested with total make over kit). And dont get me started on charr animation when he have weapon but no weapon in hands ( in Dragon Ball arena for example)- my charr run like cow.
Stay behind boss, when he turns his ugly face at you dodge in front to be behind him again.
Use signet of stamina to have more dodges.
Use shield if you need.
CC boss if you can – you may not stun him but intterupt works on some abilities.
Focus your attention on boss, watch his move and learn pattern.
Warrior have more buffs in pve than Guardian and more sustain?
As for Opynn.2936 claiming Hammer is better, maybe so in team fights and zergs but in 1v1 the big hits are too easy to dodge and it also have NO UTILITY, while shield does. Not to mention Skull Crack is way easier to land than Earthshaker. Hammer 3 with leg specialist is fun though.
Im not claiming Hammer is better, see that “IMO” at the begingin of my post it stand for in my opinion. For me it works better, maybe because Im using hammer since lunch. And how on earth Skull Crack is way easier too land than Eathshaker when Eathshaker is leap with 600 range with 240 radius. If you ask me its easier to land than Skull Crack with 130 range in a game when everyone can move away from you by using dodge.
Imo Hammer/Gs combo is better. You get mobilty from gs and hammer.
I rather invest 10 points in tactisc to take leg specialis since you are full mele and could benefit from Bladetail double immobilze (when the sword hits and when he comes back)
Skull crack is nice becasue its instant.
Hammer damage is not low. Hammer “1” is at the same speed as greatsword “1” but damage is bigger.

BTW Idea of dueling not in equal gear is ridiculous. You play more so you need to be better? And where in GW2 you work hard to get gear?
I enjoy fighting a Warrior, Guardian, Ranger , hell I enjoy fighting a Mesmer (trying to fight the “right” on is kinda fun) and other professions but in a game where you need to observe your oppoent and act accordingly Theif is not enjoyable. And is not only about stealth. Thief is one of the profession whos attacks are not transparent enough (esspecialy on smaller monitors and when thief is asura) plus he just spam them like he is not thingking about what he is doing, like he entered berserker mode.
And in wvw… If you find the good theif its like you not playing and mmorpg but first person shoter but instead of headshot you get “thiefed”. Maybe my reaction time is too slow, or Im just too old for this but kitten they are anoying.
I wouldnt minde give theif more hp, armor etc to slow the game down.

Understand that thieves were designed to kill…………… players. They do have that advantage of determinating if a fight starts or not.

Honestyl I have nothing against people playing Theif but it is so anoying profession to fight with, there is no fun in it and everytime I got defeted by Theif i feel in some way cheated.

Never played much using Rifle but now I run with is all time. Volley is like 100b from distant and its harder to dodge, its also follow theif when he go stealth (Kill shot do the same) Plus you not gona be kited, now you can kite others.
Hammer
For me must have. I feel uncomftable when I cant drop Eartshaker.
Greatsword
Pve weapon.
Longbow
Great at tower defence. Great in pve to stack might with hammer+banner. Arcing arrow can crit hard.

So please make a Warrior and tell me about stat of the mesmers.I have like 2k+ games with mesmer class and ppl still manage to down me in tpvp aswell as with thief or bunker guardian (Even xeph, helseth and many others really good mesmers eventually go down)…2 cases here…you were bad as hell with war or you’re just going hotjoin/1vs1 swag (Look at mee noob, i’m da kiiinggg..i’ll faceroll you 1vs1…come get some!!! YEahhh!!1!1) duels and you don’t meet decent players…and you’re probably playing phantasm that is totally worthless outside killing nabs in hotzerg or duels…go shatter (Since phantasm, as i said, it’s totally unuseful) in tpvp (With team utilities..portal, time warp and maybe illusion of life too) and try being so immortal vs someone with a brain…you’ll see the difference by youself..welcome to the real world..or you can just stay hotzerg but at least please stop claiming mesmers are immortal just because you can kill bads spamming phantasms…or you get killed by another one spamming phantasms too..

Warrior don’t have easy access to protection, regeneration and other “bunker” boons. Also to deal with conditions easily Warrior need to spec to do it (soldier runes, warhorn with Quick Breathing, invest trait points into tactic line).
IMO Warrior shouldn’t have easy access to “bunker” boons because that will change warrior into Guardian. I also accepted that that conditions are hard counter to Warrior.
Also you need to remember that people like to cry and it happens all over the forum.

If i may suggest: discipline trait line have nice traits but 3% to burst damage is a sad joke that all warriors don’t laugh at anymore- invest only 15 points for fast hands and take unsuspecting foe from arms line since you run weapons with stuns, also sigil of paralyzation in nice for longer stunlock.I agree with you..we should leave the broken warrior class as is..

You must have misunderstood me.
I don’t think Warrior is on the same level as other classes I just accepted that devs won’t do anything to make him better. They gave warrior highest armor and highest hp pool- armor does not reduce condition damage so combined with warriors poor condition removal conditions are the best weapon against warrior. I think they designed the warrior to be like that- it was not mistake done by someone along the way.
Its been 9? months and they still haven’t changed Brawn our awesome burst damage (srsly arenanet – tell us are you plan to do something) I’m not happy with state of warrior I want Warrior to be at same level as other professions. But instead of writing about my grief on forum I rather play the game and try to be best warrior I can now.

Oh this thread again. And as always it become ego booster for Thieves spaming learn to play. Funny thing is that I fought with so many bad, unskilled thieves in spvp and in wvw.
I have nothing against stealth because it produce bad, overconfident players who you can defeat easily.
Im not saying all thieves are bad- I met many who could down me with no sweat but thanks to stealth “being op” lots of “pro” rerolled theif to pwn " noobs".
As for stealth traps- is it realy such a big nerf? For my experience I used it once- when i was with another warrior and two thieves pewned us ( one of them was very good- i fought with him/her few times and donwed once), we came back, lured the skilled one to a trap and the fight ended with four of us on the ground.
Desperate Power fits in your idea: You do 20% extra damage under 25% health.
It should be changed to 50% imo (health, not damage)
Defy Pain too : Activates Endure Pain at 25% health.
Healing shouts warrior is just bad.
You waste 30 points in Tactics to get useless minor traits – 1 stack of might when you revive someone whoa! and thats for 25 points spent ( 25!). To be effective healer you want to take Lung Capacity. And then you end up using your shouts to heal not to use their primary effect- FGJ should be used before fight, Shake it off should be used to break stun or remove anoying condition, On my mark before fight (or to maximize burst). And than you realize that guardian can heal better and you are just guardian wannabe and you should reroll and make guardian.
Gettin back to topic.
Warrior master of mele combat in a game where everyone have can move away by the use of dodge. You get gap closers that are clunky, buged and affected by condtions that slow you down. You are a Warrior- big( or if asura- small) bag of hp slowy moving to your foe bombarded by deadly dots. You get class specific trait line with Brawn- awesome 3% more damage to your burst skill that you will better not youse becasue you will lose silly regen, 12% more damage and 9% critical chance. You get high hp and high tougness but other classes get protection boon and just laugh at your silly 3k armor.
You are a warrior and other classes envy you because you can farm cof p1 lika a boss.
I love my warrior. In fact i dont have any other lvl 80. Im getting close to 1700h. I think i have some mental disorder.
Think like a hammer. You are a Hammer. Smash things. Enemies are just nails. Nail nails, you have a hammer.
Some advices:
- use hammer as secondary weapon, dont engage fight with it, build adrenaline and then switch to hammer and drop Earthshaker
- see someone about to get stomped- drop a Earthshaker , see someone being healed- drop Earthshaker, theif want to kill you?- drop Earthshaker where you stand becasue he is going to backstab you
- watchout for blind- if you got blinded and want to drop Earthshaker – 10 points in Strenght and you will clear blind with dodge
- someone run behind you? – you can drop Earthshaker while looking behind- i bet they wont dodge

- you can land “5” while moving so try to be feet ahead of your enemy – Backbreaker have 1 sec “cast”
- “3” is great for aoe immobilize, aoe immobilize is great for Earthshaker
- try to aim Earthshaker where your enemy will be not where they are right now
- if you are using longbow and have Earthshaker ready to land- use longbow 5>Arcing Arrow (make sure projectile is on its way) > drop Earthshaker where Arcing arrow will explode= nice burst
Give the losing server ability to hire certian number of people from winning server.

Lets T9 be how it is now- empty, one server dominating, who don’t like it should just change server. Or better lets just delete servers in T9- soon there be no one here so why wait.
I was very happy when FoW was wining: small and big groups all over the map, 2-3 towers under siege at once – plenty to do. Also I had most epic Analiza defence ever: Vabbi and FoW fighting outside, few Blacktide defenders in tower with both gate and wall destroyed. FoW come back to wvw :) We are in last tier but we can still have fun.
I’m on Blacktide server. We have more people in wvw so we dominate FoW and Vabbi. Problem is that it is not fun – we take empty towers and keeps and if there are defenders they dont stand a chance. For me there is nothing to do in wvw.
So my idea is that: let me fight for my enemy- I want to be mercenary. I dont care about my server winning or losing. I just want to have fun- to have fun I need people to fight. People, not doors.
Give the losing server ability to hire certian number of people from winning server.
You can shorten pause by taking fast ground targeting but you may often miss target because of kitten cursor.
I like hammer in wvw. There is nothing better than droping Earthsaker on downed ally when Thief is doing stealth stomp.

I hunted speed hacking Vampires in Darkeden int.
I hunted rougues in WoW.

If 4 people lose to 1 thief, its nothing but a l2 kitten ue. If 2 people lose to 1 thief, its either a l2 kitten ue, or they were both glass cannons and the thief caught them by suprise. Only thief build that needs a nerf is the p/d condition build.
Wrong topic mate. We do not discuss nerf to specific theif builds we talk about stealth here.
Also: I care that theif do not pay for mistakes. For me its unfair but it just my opinion.

Only problem i have with stealth is that when you block/evade attack from stealth or theif miss attack it do not end stealth. Because of this thieves do not pay for their mistakes and they are class without risk. It seems unfair and promote skilless gameplay.
Pistol, spear, net, small cannon placed on back and sandwich.
Tried guard, was much less total healing. harder to pull off, less safe, MUCH smaller range.Guard dont last as long in big fights.“book” heals slow and stopped easily .Also cant use it on the move.Total effect is just less.Better then nothing I suppose.IMO waste of a player ( gard) Class is 100x beter used like Akgard.
personally I would rather heal 20 people 400 a tick non stop always.
All classes can heal , just not as well IMO.
I.E. Found a way for my ranger to group heal OVER 1000 a tick AOE.
Granted this is nice BUT, its a small range and a burst heal I guess.Guardian heals a lot more, but on a narrower radius.
Let alone the damage reduced by protection alone is probably worth more than your regen by itself.That’s not to say anything bad to your build, but you can’t say it’s the best healer in game that’s simply false.
Also a full support Guardian is pretty much immortal, not even funny lol.
If you die with it, it’s a l2p issue.
