Can’t access guild armorer or weapons vendor. Got it all unlocked and i have the rank to use it. tried the represent switch on all my caracter nothing works. Keeps getting the message that we dont have it unlocked even tho the switched worked for my guild memebers it doesnt for me. Its getting really frustrating takes forever to login and out on so many caracters. Pleeeeaase fix asap.

ive seen a few posts how people say how great the class is and ye its great if you go with d/d but people have to remember thats not everyone see a ele using a dagger i for one think a caster should have a staff why be forced into one playstyle every ele out there have the same d/d build its just boring. As to the ops question yes if you follow the rest and go d/d then fine the class is fine but i can assure you staff needs some work.

What do you mean you cant do the events common now with a bit of planning you can easily do em all. Heck i did all of the events yesterday on all 4 my level80s and yes guesting is working as intended i was able to join my guildies for those event on their server.

I’m sure it’s a bug that guesting gives you another chest. Once that bug is fixed, this won’t be an issue anymore.

Though until then it sure is annoying. But don’t implement a change in mechanics to fix a bug, just fix the bug.

If people are jumping servers to get a second chest they need to be perma banned. It is a clear exploit and no way you could say…oh I thought that was what they intended guesting for.

The thing is most people are not jumping to get a extra chest they do because they want to get it over and done with asap. I for one really would like to go play my alts not having to worry if ive looted a certain boss. the sooner i can finish all of em the sooner i can get to actually playing.

The reason they’re limited is because it would be pretty overpowered to be able to loot all the chests every 3 hours, from a farmer’s point of view.

They could limit you to an X amount of chests per day, allowing you to farm whatever event you wanted, but that would be a nerf to people that actually do all the chest events and I doubt they’d want people to farm the same one over and over. It would also be very easy to get all your chests with the maw in its current state. It wouldn’t stop people guesting either, since if you were limited to 4 chests, people would still want to guest and get those 4 as fast as possible.

Now imagine if the events were on fixed, scheduled timers. You could play your alts without worrying about it, because you’d know exactly when the event would occur. When you ported over, it wouldn’t matter if you landed in overflow, because since it’s on a scheduled timer, it would also be happening there. It would also mean you no longer have to AFK ikittenone, waiting for the event to occur.

I actually like your idea makes sense to be honest i dont really like jumping around having to wait for loading times and events to start is annoying as heck

Ye we worked hard to get those hom rewards and believe me for some of us it wasnt easy. Heck ive playe gw1 for ages and i dont even have all the points needed to unlock all the pets. I just got the moa and im not complaining.

So anet limited the chests 1/ day to get people to go elsewhere. In my oppinion this is what cause people to go into a panic to find where the next boss is gonna spawn. Ill explain how it is actually affecting the fun i used to have playing.

Back in the day i was able to leave my lvl80 caracter in one zone and play my alts not worrying bout when a boss is going to spawn or not the thing was even if i miss a boss i was still able to get maby loot 2x from another to make up for the loss.

Now its completely different i cant even play my alts i have to keep jumping from server to server to find a event i havent done yet and its taking alot of time away from playing those caracters.

So in conclusion In my oppinion its not guesting thats the problem but the limit on chests. Don’t get me wrong there is not need to remove the limit completely just up it to maby 4 per day or so then i won’t have to jump around to other servers and take up space that might exclude someone on that home server to enjoy that same event.

Ye Zommos is vindictive ive been dumpin loads of yellow in em for a while now and nothing so i gave up. You keep feeding him and he will give you a exotic now and then to tempt you then just when you think its gonna happen he starts sucking you dry.

can never go wrong with silver and gold on metal armor. For about 1g each dye its not overly expensive and looks awsome on my warrior. also if you dont mind spending about 5 or so gold then midnight fire is pretty cool for a base with gold or silver for trim

Oki i was lucky enough to find one in a bl chest yesterday and activated it on my account but now im wondering the little trinket thingy you get to open the bank do you only get one ? or do all caracters created get one automatically like the hom stone for instance. What if i delete a caracter with it in their inv by mistake ? now i dont say this will happen but stranger things have happend.

Its never from the same account either. First i thought its just some prank but ive got a feeling there is more behind these mails. Anyway ive started reporting them for spamming.

I don’t think it was a mistake, however I do think it was ignorant to presume that people do not want to play them. Any class is suppose to be able to preform any role right ? We can tank, we can dps, but with the acception of a couple classes (and even those are lack luster at heals) there is no way to play heals which is dissapointing to many.

I love the game but with no dedicated healing class I’m getting bored fast its what I enjoy playing and I’m a little miffed that Anet decided that people don’t want to play dedicated heals.

Oh and fix whatever you broke with your maintenance please, it would be great if I could log on to ANY character that happens to be in DR without getting booted on log in.

Then why did you start playing gw2 in the first place. You knew there was not gonna be any healer class and still you started playing now months later you complain that there are no healer class.

easiest is in queensdale just outside the barracks right by the skillpoint the centaur there constantly kill those sereph guys 5 min and your done

For the people with rangers veteran iceworms is a great way to get the dodge thing done even if your pet got aggro the worm will always throw a rock at a person at range

They took away frac and wvw out the monthly which made me happy 5 dungeons tho is something i can live with. But i wouldnt worry if i were you anet did say something bout implementing a system into the daily where you can choose which activities to complete and i can bet they gonna do the same with the monthly

No no and no ! We dont want em plain and simple im sick of other games and their healers with their god complex’s. It was said from the start there will be no dedicated healers. What i dont understand is why oh why people will want to come and have gw2 change when if they want to play a game with the trinity they have countless choices of MMOs to go to.

Its not true that they just slap a 72hour ban for a name violation id bet your name must have been pretty bad. A guildy of mine was playing in the morning and then he was kicked out imediatly was able to log back in and had to change his caracter name.

I think they review it case by case if your name is pretty offensive you get the 72h ban if its not that harsh your just forced to change your name

The fact is people are just plain greedy i bet most of those folks already got a legendary and now they just want to gain more and more gold and for what. I can promise you one thing as a person that dont really care for legendaries if i ever get a precursor i would sure as hell not sell it on the tp for 600g like some money hungry fool. Id sell it privatly at 200g maby 250g thats enough to fully gear all my caracters and buy all the ugrades i want. Nobody needs 600g

It’s been suggested several times before. The usual answer is that they tried, but there were serious clipping problems, and they’ve had to scrap that idea for now. (And given some of the clipping problems that they allowed to go live, it must have been downright awful.)

They’ve not said “never” to the idea, but right now there’s other things they’re working on first. Making capes and cloaks work would take time that could be used to make a lot of other things instead.

Yep I have to agree with you id rather let them wait with this and get the clipping issues sorted out than releasing cloaks now. If you look at something like norgu’s armor on a char ele it clips extremely badly how that got passed q&a i dont know

Personally i really like the look of the staff from ac thats my fav staff so far and im quiet happy to gear all my caster caracters with those

Well im of the oppinion that legendaries should not be able to be crafted period. To me a legendary is something that should be found in the open world and not 200 of em either.

Yep as a person who totally hates pvp this is a great change. All the stuff on the new monthly is totally doable by anyone

for me : 5 dungeons = done
500 salvage = done
100 events = 75%
5 dailies = 2 out of 5

Ive found a problem with the scaling especially in wayfarer foothills not because of the new event but because of maw there is tons of lvl80s just camping there the whole day doing maw over and over.

Now that in itself is not a problem what causes a problem is that people actually of the level for the zone can barely get even a bronze award. Ive tested it on some of my lower level caracters. Lets take the shaman part of the event where you have to kill the 3 shamans because of scaling more damage needs to be done to kill these guys now this also increases the amount of damage each person must do to the mob for it to count and this is where the problem lies.

My poor low level damage output is just not enough to keep up with the level 80s in the zone hench i dont even get a bronze sometimes.

Ive picked up just 3 exotics over 5 level 80s i can see the frustration some people are just very unlucky

cant salvage karma armor for some reason

Oki so ive sticked a bunch of superior runes of divinity on my karma armor set and you all know how expensive those runes are now ive decided its time for a new look but i cant get my runes off the temple gear. Is there anyway to do this im not planning on buying more just dont have the gold neither do i have any transmutation stones.

There is one in kessex hills aswell he is even nice enough to open and share his loot with you if you clear all the ettins from his cave

Well Orr have changed and thats just how it is. People that say the challenge is gone, It was never hard are probably playing warriors. Trying to take my poor staff ele in there previously was just not happening. Now i can at least enjoy the zone on my ele.

This system for picking from a list for dailies, along with rotating in new more specific achievements will be added in a later release to build on the system going forward. As discussed in the Gw2 in 2013 blog post this is really just the ground work for the systems coming down the road.

I can tolerate the daily its not that bad for now but i would like to see this implemented into the monthly aswell i will never pvp i just dont want to.

Well i see it this way you got pvp in the monthly which suposed to give you 10 laurels for completion what about us people that totally dont want to pvp we will never see that 10 laurels. I say people that like pvp have it better in my oppinion.

Trying to change my gender using a total transformation kit crashes the client to desktop.

I really dont see the harm in this for a couple of reasons 1. You bought the picks to mine with 2. your mining it like anyone else. 3. you actually have to work harder than say a level 80 person just because of aggro range 4. Your not doing anything that gives you a advantage over any other player.

i save them for my alts all progressing towards 80, i do dungeons more then just for the tokens… mostly for gold.

Its 6 stacks of tokens for a full suit of armor, i guess i could use the tokens now when they are lower level, but one i am not sure if you can buy the pieces from the LA vendors if yer not level 80.

You will be fine you can indead buy the items even if your not lvl80 just make sure the caracter thats going to use it is buying the items as it soulbounds as soon as you get it. Im also a altoholic and some of my lvl80s was fully geared long before reaching 80.

Casting times is just to slow ive been testing it extensively during the maw event with loads of people around its just impossible to get gold rewards using a staff before your spell goes off the mobs are already dead and the damage is not up to par aswell. Ive tried loads of different build combinations and no matter how you construct your build it takes ages to kill mobs compared to other classes

You realize that jade colossi reflect every autoattack from staff back at you? Staff isn’t the best dps weapon. Too many supportive spells.

The problem all us gamers have is we have a bunch of old grumpy people sitting after their bingo match that wants to decide what what is good for us. From what i gather our US gamers have quite a silly rating system. The thing is tho do us gamers really care about ratings. Just look out there these days you got games like most of the shooters out there being played by young kids even tho ratings are 17+

Yep i constantly misplace that cursor some improvement to make it more visible would help maby make it flash while in combat and maby a little bigger would sure as heck help targeted spells
