The voice in the trailer is nothing but at cool voice. It’s not an elder dragon or some entity with high powers. It’s just a cool voice. Wooden Potatoes told us that in his recent video.
Kinda sad to hear that
maybe another dragon.
You mean, another Zhaitan? Honestly, even with all of the flaws and mistake, i would prefer another year of Scarlet than having an Elder Dragon as boring as Zhaitan.
I think the feedback Anet has received regarding Zhaitan is enough for them to not make the same mistake again. This is a fictional world with so much lore behind it it just can’t whitstand a cartoonish and unoriginal character such as Scarlet once more :p
I really don’t thing zerker is gonna be so nerfed it’s going to destroy for players having spend hundreds and hundreds of gold to make their perfect set. What Anet is trying to do is make the game less discriminating towards anything other than berserker. If I run with rabid, carrion, soldier or knight players will question my choice and in some cases leave/kick. As for the moment it’s not that fun doing dungeons just stacking in a corner while the 4 warriors in group pops ‘’for great justice’’ and then just hundred blades down every mob.
There will always be imbalance and meta build but atm the game almost punishes you when you do pve and don’t have zerker gear. I appreciate Anets attempt to balance everything out more.
Making a statement as ’’don’t fix what isn’t broken’’ is your own entitled opinion but in regards to all other players in gw2 it sounds selfish. And that is just because you have gotten used to it, I can’t blame you for it. But the game is an mmorpg and you should be able to play whatever you want in regards to build or armorstats without taking too much kitten .
As for now, playing with zerker armor is shoved down the throats of many (new)players and immediately invokes a picture of this game not being as ’’free’’ as you would hope it to be.
People seem to forget that this game is a f2p mmorpg with standards and gameplay as good(opinions my vary) as a p2p such as WoW.
Nothing in the gem store makes you a stronger character or gives you an unfair advantage to anything. It’s just things that may give you more convinience throughout your gameplay.
GW2 players are truly spolied sometimes and they really seem to forget that.
I’d say pretty much everything before 10,000 BE can be only theories. As much as interesting this thread can be it’s so long before anything Anet has even touched(afaik) so it will only remain a theory and IF now that would be the case, I don’t see how humans on tyria would be affected by it.
130g, was at 4 or 5 gold about 10 or 11 days ago. Most income is from dungeons, fotm and salvagin exotic weps for inscritptions which sells for about 3g.
I always try to do these dungeon runs when I’m online.
CoF,p1,p2
AC,p1,p3
SE,p1,p3
HotW,p1
TA, up/up
FotM, daily
This is right around 10g just for the daily gold awards. Then on top of that you have probably some rares(ectos) and exotics(rares, (inscription)).
If you do a orichalcum run in Obsidian Sanctum, Southsun, Frostgorge, Malchor’s Leap and Cursed Shore you’ll end up with right above 50 ores which sells for 4s/ore. Do some more daily events such as Tequatl(1g) and Orr temples and get some more rares.
All in all if you have a really free day and just can play gw2 and do all this you should earn about.
Dungeons/fractals=10g
Orichalcum=2g+
Ectos=8-12g
Events=1.5-2g(Tequatl included)
Loot=1-?g
So if this is one of those days you have all day free you could in theory earn almost 30g :p But without no doubt a really tough task to accomplish.
For an easy gathering run I suggest using http://gw2nodes.com/ . It’s a playerbased tool where you can put the most valued nodes in 75+ areas and is really accurate.

So basically..in your opinion what should be done is totally kicking new players from any dungeon content and just allow elitist jerks to team up…cool, wish it happened to you when you were new.
Nope not at all. I’ll explain and then you can read again cause you clearly misunderstood my WoT.
What I want is to give those more experienced player an option to only search for other experienced player and avoid inexperienced players. That doesn’t mean I want them gone from the game. I just want to make it more enjoyable to pug for those who actually know what to do.
Now please quote to me where I said I want newbies eliminated from dungeon content.
Those are the groups I will never join . AP requirement and nothing else. No wonder you get bads in your group. Brb , gonna zerg living story to get more AP , it will make me better at dungeons.
Are you sure the people that join your group are inexperinced? Just a question what gear and build you are using?
Don’t fixate just on one thing I wrote such as AP. Even your reaction towards people such as me searching for people with high amounts of AP is evidence enough that this game needs something better to qualify an experienced player in respective dungeon.
If a players don’t use my mesmer portal in cof p1 at the part when you need to lit three ’’torches’’ and he/she dies try running through the rocks I’ll take that as inexperienced. If a person holds the hammer in cliffside fractal to 40 ticks I’ll take that as inexperienced. If a person aren’t familiar with the three phases of giganticus lupicus I’ll take that as inexperienced. Note the difference between inexperineced and bad players. Inexperienced I can handle to a certain degree but bad players that’s another topic.
I won’t let you judge me as player cause of my build or gear. I can tell you that I have three 80’s I do dungeons with. All three have different gear and builds. One of them however is a zerker but is not my main choice when I run dungeons.
Okey I have been starting to farm seriously for my legendary now and started doing dungeons and fotm. While the game itself is just getting better and better the game lfg tool and group function is in my opinion one of the more bad one I’ve seen in mmorpgs.
I don’t have that many friends that play gw2 as much as I do and therefore I need to pug by using lfg tool. Now after a time I really feel it needs to be changes and improvements. Many of the things I will bring up has already been brought up throughout the forum several times. But still, several cons about pugs in gw2 has existed since release and haven’t been fixed yet which in my opinion is really bad.
1. Groupleader leaving resulting in resetting the dungeon. This just needs to be fixed.
2. Merge parties. If I write in lfg-tool ‘’P1+P3 fast run, 5k+ ap’’ (I feel the necessity to make this more clear. If I write ‘’fast run’’ of course I use my zerker for it. It’s not my main choice because I hardly do fast runs anymore, sorry for not being clear about that) I do it because I don’t want an unexperienced player with me and if someone merge my party together with those players. I end up with someone I don’t want to play with hence making the game frustrating for me cause now I need to explain the dungeon run and the time to finish it doubles if I don’t leave that is.
3. Filter in lfg tool. Make a filter in lfg tool where you can enter things such as min-max lvl, times done dungeon/path, minimum AP points etc. etc. Something that makes you end up in parties with players who shares the same experience as you do.
Bottom line is. The game encourages players to get together but as of now pugging and doing dungeons is a wild shot and as a more experienced player I don’t want to be punished and have a bad time just because I don’t have enough friends.
Thank you.

I burst out into tears at 3.50 when he started singing. I loved that video sooooo much.
I heard that expansion is “in work” right now, and if its true Id like to know when. May be not the exactly day but at least roughly. Sure somebody knows something.
Source on this? Or did you just hear it from somewhere?
Anet has been pretty clear about expansions regarding gw2. I strongly believe we will be seeing expansions but not this early.
Haha nice idea. I on the other hand is one of them ‘’lore-nerds’’ and I frankly don’t give a kitten about people naming the Claw of Jormag to simply Jormag
I can see the problem but I doubt Anet is gonna fix that since this is not permanent content. I agree with your point though, I can understand that people who owns a medium/low budget computer suffers from this.
I however am not one of them so I maybe sound degrading and stupid asking this but if you’re not already playing the game on lowest have you tried setting everything on ‘’best performance’’ before entering toypocalypse?
I support your point though since this game is built to be playable on so many different price range computers.
I’d give a.. 9.5/10! I love the armor, the colors, but I’ve never been a fan of short hair on girl characters, that’s why I took the .5 off!
Here is my mesmer, Sin Levone!
Haha I don’t know what I like about it. A mesmer with a black eye is a mesmer who can’t handle his clones But as a human it is a normal good looking face with a mysterious black eye
As mesmer he gets 5/10
As human he gets 8/10
This is my engineer which is in her giant form from box o’ fun
I am a level 80 engineer and had an account for roughly a year; been active about 4-6 months of that. My time has mostly been running champion trains, hot join pvp, and jumping puzzles (and leveling).
In my entire time of playing I have not run 1 dungeon. I have played 7 different MMOs (starting with DAOC), so I have plenty of experience in all typical roles (tank, heals, dps). My build I have in this game (and I went nearly broke buying full exotics for this build can be seen below):
http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fcAQJAqel0pqb3zSyF17ISoHS49pWieofWmj9pgcB-ToAgzCmImSNlbKzUypsTNAZ2A
Note: I just chose PvP to keep it simple, but same for PvE.
Regardless, it is a quasi-bunker spec with OK damage using bombs and splash heals with each attack.
Some basic questions:
1) If I randomly join a dungeon should I announce that I am new to the dungeon (and dungeons in general), or just “follow the crowd”?
2) Will my support/defense oriented spec be welcome?
3) What are the typical time commitments for a dungeon?
4) Any other advice is welcome.
1) Yes. Since most dungeons have mechanics that you should know about it’s better to say that you’re new so someone can explain
2) Both yes and no, while berserker armor is by far the fastest way to clear a dungeon bunker/support build is the best way to go if you’re running with random people.
3) Everything from 7 minutes to 3 hours But generally you should expect to spend between 15-30 min per dungeon run. However there are exceptions such as the Lost City of Arah which will take a minimum 30 min per path(if going with experienced people).
4) If it is the first time you’re running dungeons, go on youtube and watch some videos to get a hunch on what you’re about to do. I love helping people in dungeons but it’s a wildshot since most of players today want to get things done fast many will not be so grateful if you’re a newbie. Just a step we all have to go through sometime.
Since I didn’t play gw1 I’m taking a wild leap on what you are asking. While gw1 was soloinstanced wherever you went gw2 is not, thus making the zones loadingscreen last longer since all the players is in that zone. Just compare Lion’s Arch to Iron Marches.
Yet again. That’s just my thought so my answer would be no, sadly you can’t.
I think many players want new areas to explore in this game whether it is Tyria, Elona or Cantha. The hard thing here for Anet is to give us something new in these new zones without raising the levelcap and still be worth while to explore and spend time in.
I believe this was something they tried to do with Southsun Cove and the result is that that zone isn’t that much worth to be in.(except the karka queen)
Now Guild Wars 2 has one thing common with pretty much every other MMORPG out there and that is grinding.
I’m a pve player and the places I see most players at is in either Queensdale or Frostgorge Sound where they’re champion farming, FotM and people farming worldbosses. Now we can argue pros and cons about things Anet release in LS but it’s quite obvious the champion boxes were a success along with the weapons that can be dropped in those boxes.
So here comes my list with things that would makes new added zones worth playing and exploring without splitting playerbase up too much and still leave the levelcap at 80.
Unique
Make the new zones unique, something that can only be obtainable through that zone. Like the Orr temples vendors armors but also weapons and trinkets. This game needs more models obtainable through pve. The dungeon armors is almost 16 months old now and when we see new sets it’s through the gem shop.
Grinding
The karmagear was easy to get and Anet did explain that they didn’t know people would get that much karma in such a short time. Raise the price for the pieces from 42k karma(Orr prices) to maybe 84k or 126k. Players like to feel unique and legendarys and dungeon armors are more than quite common now and when you see someone with gem shop armor it’s sometimes quite good looking but it’s not hard to get if you have money.
Dailies
An RPG is much about seeing progress through stats and aesthetics and seeing your character developing in generall. But make the new zones have daily events that maybe occurs once or twice that will lead you to a chest which contains a token/tokens for something you want to buy. A slow progress that’s not RnG based. Again this makes the zone unique. However we can at first point agree that this games doesn’t need more currency but with the new wallet system it doesn’t need to be so inconvenient. Say we get to travel in to Dominion of Winds or to a heavily populated Kodan zone. The tokens can represent some sort of honor value of some kind that shows the faction that you’ve helped them which gives it more rpg-feeling to it.
New enemies
I gotta say I loved the karkas. But that’s a personal preference. However this game could use new enemies. Something that ties the enemy to the region. Pretty basic but not as effective as previous suggestions but I always find it quite nice to see new enemies in game whether it is karkas or twisted.
Lore
This game needs more lore for old veteran GW players but still be enjoyable for those who haven’t played the first GW. It’s always nice for the experienced eye to see that they are running around in a world they took their first step into in 2005. Make relics, books or ruins or just a place in generall that might be preserved. This was something, which for some, made Southsun Cove a bit… meh… Just because it came more of a shock. Give the playerbase something we want not something we maybe want.
That’s my take regarding adding new zones. Bare in mind that this is something I was thinking could fit in a LS as much as an expansion but since we’re pretty custom with the LS it thought of it out of that perspective.
Remember also that dragons are forces of nature. While their sole purpose is only to consume magic they are just like a tidal wave or an earthquake. A force of nature. However if they would somehow adapt to make the fortress benefitial on their behalf, I’d still see this quite unlikely.
The devs have told us noumerous times that they have written an end for Scarlet. So now we will probably wait a maximum of 4(hopefully) months before she’ll be nothing more than history of tyria.
Well there we had it. Scarlet. Honestly I’m not that surprised. Anet actually had so many roads to go regarding this fractal and just reading the ideas players could come up with on the forums got me so excited.
This is not a living world anymore in my opinion. This is a dragged out conflict between the races of tyria and a villain that at least deserves a .44 bullet fired point blank into here treelike brain. Not because she’s evil, but because she’s annoying. The threat from her is not that big and I long for the day we actually get to kill her.
I doesn’t matter if the fight is in a twisted reality with floating mountains and scarlet is 10 times the size. If she trips on a branch and breaks her neck, I will be as much satisfied.
That doesn’t mean I don’t like what the devs are trying to do. It’s just that… I really don’t like it. This Scarlet person makes me feel like I’m watching a cartoon for 8 year olds.
As much as I would help you answer your question/request I’ll say this instead.
Precursor will be craftable some point in the future and I belive I’ve seen some form of hint on the web that we’re pretty close to do so. Save the money for now and when we can craft the precursor, compare the cost and see what’s most profitable.
Yeah I’d say it pretty much looks like skritt
The latest trailer was so well done I genuinely feel real excitment for the next patch. Even though it isn’t that much new we will still get Thaumanova before the accident. What do you think it might be?
Just a mad inquest or something bigger?
I gotta say, that trailer got me so pumped for GW2. Even though everything shown was already familiar it was so well done. The trailer made it look like it was like a minor teaser for an upcoming expansion or similar.
Thumbs up Anet!
Since the release of the queens speech has been revealed I must say that the next living story is somewhat… empty..?
I mean it has some new additions to it but it is less than what we’re used to. I don’t necessarily say it is a bad thing but this is less content than what we’re expecting out of Anet.
My thoughts on this is that the Queen’s Speech patch has been done developed most recently if not even much earlier because the next patch after 20th august is going to be something big and the LS staff needs more time than just 2 weeks to pull it of.
If this is the response then I guess Anet has succeded with the idea of a living world. This is a game and even though it’s fictional and fantasy. Treat your gaming as you would do with yourself in real life.
You’re just a human and can’t keep up with everything.
Unlike like the majority of others voting for Kiel just for the reduced WP cost, I’m actually consider doing it for the lore.
And I’d like to tell why and also why you at least should consider it.
1. If your thoughts went to the Abaddon lore the moment you knew about it did you ever consider that the lore about Thaumanova Reactor might have a similar ’’awesomeness’’ to it as well. I mean, ArenaNet must’ve thought of something more than just a mad inquest ‘cause we’ve seen alot of them, a little bit too much for that matter and I am willing to put my faith in ArenaNet. Faith in that they won’t just do a simple ordinary experiment explosion. Why would we want this fractal? I’ll tell you. Because this is no way near an ordinary explosion. This is much bigger than we can anticipate.
2. We will get to experience gods if Evon wins, but what exactly are you preparing yourself for? Mountains shattering, oceans dividing, or unspeakable forces created only by the human gods. The lore is already there and it is just a mouseclick away. If the idea of having 5 gods against 1 and us players being the five gods then the only right thing to do would be to kill 10 mobs with one attack. Cause that’s what gods are capable of hence creating a fractal that is correct to the lore but no fun to play. And we want fun… right?
3. In the lore, not a living soul except one(Malchor) has ever laid their eyes upon the gods and known what they’ve looked like. Thoughts have been raised numerous times on how they actually might look. Statues have been made to maybe fit the original description on their appearnce by 10%. One person have seen it and it’s been 1326 years. I can’t be the only one who still wants this to be a mystery. Legendary entites only reachable through books. If you should be able to face the human gods I think you should put some harder effort in to it than just walking through a portal.
4. The lore does no good, we will just experience what has already happened and that will be the end of it. Everyone who is familiar with the lore knows what happens to Abaddon when Nightfall occurs.
5. However the Thaumanova Reactor. What mystery lies within that explosion and what might the impact on Tyria be in the future, what can we learn from the tragedy which occured there? As I mentioned earlier, this explosion is not and ordinary explosion or at least not the impact it had or maybe will have. It is closer to us timewise and might still affect us.
Speculations can ofcourse be brought wether this lore might have something to do with and elder dragon or not. But all I wanted to do is give you all EvonVoters a food for thought, you have your opinion and your votes and I ain’t going to tell you what to do with them.
Thanks for reading.
Take note that Evon and Kiel is also ’’pirates’’.
Sticky targeting will most likely never be implemented. If you die you lose LoS and the enemy is gone until you see him/her again. Not to mention the classes which uses stealth(mesmers, thiefs). GW2s gameplay is based on visual and movements as much as knowing you professions skills. Sticky targeting would ruin that.
I still feel like the discussion about who to vote on should not be based on BLC or WP.
It’s the fractals and what we want to see in the game.
I agree that WP>BLC but in the big picture it’s more BLC/WP<Fractals.
People will save a few golds in one month but if you take one hour farm in CoF p1. You’ll pretty much earn back all the ’’lost’’ gold.
I think we still will get a bit of lore to us but much inte the way we got the story with the zephyrites travel. So if Evon wins and The Fall of Abaddon gets inte the game we will still know, sooner or later, what happened with the Thaumanova Reactor but only in text. And vice versa. The problem here is that we already know about the fall of Abaddon so it might be a bit of gamble from us players when we vote.
If Kiel wins, we will know the answer about Thaumanova Reactor and already have knowledge about Abaddon’s fall.
If Evon wins, we will get to experience the already known lore but in gw2 which might be very awesome the get up close to a human god, especially for new players. But we might not get to know what happened to Thaumanova Reactor, but I think that’s unlikely in the long term. We might not get it now, but in a year or so..
Any thoughts?
Okey thanks haha! Not much of an interesting zone then
Hey there!
As for those who have looked deeper on the in-game map, the areas around the explorable zones are just fastbrushed to create Tyria in a blurry picture. Like Blood Legion Homelands, Magus Falls, Crystal Desert and so on..
However, I’m a bit curious about a certain formation seen on the map just on the southwest corner of Brisban Wildlands.
http://oi41.tinypic.com/2lkbpzp.jpg
I’d like to know if there lies something special there.
Thanks!
Or maybe do something similar with the elder dragons in the future if we ever will see them. For most of the players Zhaitan is confirmed dead so it would feel kind of cheap to create events involving that dragon.
What I really would like in the game is boots or something that gives perma-buff in speed-movement. To create functional gear which gives this would cause imbalance in pvp and might be minus in other aspects too. But for those time when you’re just gonna explore or as in my case, run around an light effiges, we could have a pair of boots which gives 33% speed-buffs for the times running around in the world of tyria.
The boots could be so simple as:
Explorer’s Boots
+33% Movement Speed
-20% Vitality
-10% Power
People might find a way to use the boots for an advantage in wvw so that’s why the boots also have a negative effect. They should be used for exploring only.(the stats/idea were made up in 1 sec, so it’s something you can improve)
The reason I want this is, even how cheesy it might sound, I like the world and just looking around while running/exploring is somewhat enjoying. Plus I’m a cheap kitten and it can get kind of expensive teleporting to waypoints all the time when you’re 80.
I know some classes, like thief for example, have speed buffs. But not all classes have it so it would be nice just for the sake of it.
I just wanted to see if I’m not the only one with this feeling. With this update we’ve learn that this Dragon Bash-festival is something that traditionaly comes from Cantha with just a minor adjustment to the Tyrian culture. But also with the dragon jade skins which also is from Cantha. I guess I could find alot in this living story that relates to Cantha in specific but the point is that my reaction from this patch is more of a way Anet wants to tell us all that we won’t be seeing Cantha and instead they’ve put Cantha-influenced stuff so we can have at least something which is supposed to be in this game but thanks to NCSoft we will not be able to experience at all.
Yeah it’s kind of a dissapointment. However if you really want the wings just wait a couple of days and buy a large bunch of zhaitaffy from TP.
Add a function so we don’t need to confirm everytime we salvage gear with the stats masterwork and up.
Something like, hold shift while salvaging. Whenever you don’t hold shift the confirm-message pops up.
Is this a joke?
I highly doubt that this is ever gonna happen. Remeber that GW2 is f2p? The only income Anet makes is from the gamepurchase itself and real money for gems. And if server transfer is something of great interest of many players, a hugh chunk of them is going to buy gems to just be able to make a server transfer. So if you are able to transfer once a month ofcourse people will just wait and then make the transfer. That will be a loss for Anet.
Most of the stuff in the gem store can just be pure kitten but as an example here some things are of value of players and ofcourse we want it for free too.
If things are so expensive, save your money and when you actually have them rethink if it’s really worth to spend them on gems. Also, think of it like this way, if it now costs 35$ for that amount of gems enough for a transfer. That is what wow-players pay every second month just to play the actual game. We’re truly spoiled compared to that.
I don’t know if this have already been up for suggestion but I couldn’t find it<— not the best searcher.
Anyway, I see alot and have self experienced this while I’m on my mesmer and that is as soon I meet someone in pvp and they have a party the can just call a target on me and I will forever be in their sight ready to take all the damage and not let my illusions be there instead. They simply just press ’’T’’(original binding) and I’m the one targeted. I feel like the sprit of mesmer is getting destroyed when our illusions main purpose, to confuse the player, is not even working.
So my suggestion is that when people vanish in stealth or as a mesmer blinks or anything similar to that. The crosshair over their heads will dissapear.
Sign me up too!
Name: Pruttlukt
Class:Mesmer
Gear: Berserker exotic
Never done arah exp but since I hardly ever find one to play with I’ve almost given up on doing it.
so there’s no chance that you can join if you’re on a eu server even though guesting is available?
I’ll be pretty upset if they don’t put Cantha in. Why put all these hints of Cantha and not put Cantha in? I want to know what’s going on over there kitten it!
Cantha has to happen and if we demand it, maybe that will put some pressure on them to make it happen.
It doesn’t need to be hints. Just reminders of the region. But Anet seems to like leave options open for themself which they can work on in the future.
As regarding Cantha I do think they’ll put it in the game. I think NCsoft’s making a bad picture of themself if they would forbid an entire region for a number one selling game 2012. They are the publisher and not developers and their role regarding Gw2 is marketing. I wouldn’t be THAT much concerned that Cantha won’t be in the game. However what I am concerned about is how much NCsoft is going to destroy it by making Anet do huge changes that lore won’t do much of a help. ‘’The Great Collapse’’ is a joke and makes me angry at NC so yet again. The region will most likely come. But as for the moment we can just spectaculate about how it will be.
Wait… You’re complaining about there being too much traffic?
BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!I don’t mind if there’s a 1-per-day gate to meta-event chests.
What makes one world boss more appealing then another? My guess is, you’re just complaining about not being able to repeat the easiest one. >_>And I could hardly give a rat’s —- if farming on Orr is nerfed.
I can’t stand the grind, and eagerly await when Arena Net releases more skill-challenging ways to get Legendary components. Plus, there are various other places to farm at – At least I know a few anyway~ :P
Yes that’s exactly what I complain about. I’m tired of doing events where 50 people show up and the lag makes me spam number 1 for 10 straight minutes and still only get bronze on the event cause of the delay. You can guess and you can go discuss several words and sentences I choose to put in my topic not even getting the fully understanding of it and that is that Anet is rushing with new things just to keep their game alive. If a zone has high traffic(which is why I play an mmo) then atleast it should be playable in these real high crowded places.
As for the bosses you’re guessing I only do. I do all of then except some temples in Orr and I enjoy them too. But the fact that the chest is gone irritates me. They always go around with “get to 80 through wvw, crafting and pve” making it sound like the alternatives are endless and you can reach your goals the way YOU want. That is more and more less true now. They are forcing us more and more to play the game the way they want us to play. It’s a good game but not everything appeals to me and I shouldn’t be less rewarded for that.
The farming Orr nerf was an example of what impact Anet has on these “look at what we’ve done-changes”.
As the title is stated I am seriously starting to belive that guesting was one of the worst things implemented in the game. What’s the point of even having a guild split cross all over the different servers? Isn’t the whole idea of servers being just washed away not to talk about that you can guest the guilds ‘’home-server’’ to ’’join’’ them temporarily causing overflow to happen way more than it should. If this is at least going to stay it would be a nice thing to actually increase population limit in each zone. ANet are so in love in their own game so the promote everyone to participate in everything but there need to be restrictions.
With the new patch we are now forced to play all the things that the game has to offer and not choose for ourselves. The lootchest for each worldboss is now 1 per day just so we are forced to play other things, we not even might enjoy. And this is where overflow is a pain in the kitten since the timers aren’t the same in overflow vice versa. Timer is kinda necessary for those who want to always have something to do under the time worldbosses aren’t active. Not just waypoint to all bosslocations to see that they don’t miss anything. Now this might come out as me being all negative to what the game has to offer and such but it isn’t the case. But it’s the way Anet promotes it. They add new things to the game all the time just to make it feel longer. New currencies, new pvp-maps, and new systems etc. etc.
I love that they do that but it’s so much that they need to hold their horses and just improve what they have. Many things are unpolished and needs some serious work. A friend in the guild just quit today cause they have nerfed the farming in Orr for her legendary. Once again this feels like Anet’s way of telling everybody to ‘’Yeah you’ve done that now, but now you NEED TO CHECK THIS kitten OUT TOO:D:D:D’’.
So basically the title may be less informing/suggesting what I mean but these are the major things I’d like to see improve.
-Increased zonepopulation
-Fix the guesting(if a guest is coming over, force them to overflow, or anything…really)
-Always rewardchest from worldbosses(but less rewarding the second, third, fourth etc. time)
-Don’t nerf goldfarming, cause it’s the most efficent way of getting closer to legendary.
I really love this game and might as well thank Anet too for making it but sometimes if not always it feels like Anet are more in love in this game than I am.
Thanks!
I’d say it would be much of an improvent if this was implemented in the game. Many people are though lfg in the map where you can find the dungeon but still I see many who doesn’t. And they who aren’t can be found in LA. So it is a problem in my opinion.
Got the same problem for me. I was trying to enter AC after a dc and ended up in a whole new and restarted instance. Very frustrating since we were almost done.
