I appreciate the support, but I’m not right because Rom is also using it. It is strong because it allows easy application of doom. If you feel you need energy as a crutch though, you can swap out intelligence.

Swap out MH sword for Axe, and sigil of geo for energy, and you have a great build.
axe/sword is weaker mate and not using geomancy/doom is just stupid.
With this build you can kite two people around a point for days, and duel all builds. It has great mobilety so you can get out of alot of sticky situations and make roaming plays.
An extra 50% bleed duration makes auto attacks and Geomancy/doom combo very strong. You can stack 25 might stacks with battle/fire field/fire aura/versitile power. I usually never use sword burst, unless fire field bugs out, thus i take brawlers recovery for more on demand condition cleanse.
Since it lacks CC it can be lackluster in teamfights. Try it out and let me know how it works out for you.

Yes on all points, except there shouldnt be any fee’s for watching games and there shouldn’t be a limit of 10 players. I’d also like to see ladders implemented on rated games (like we see in LoL) and make soloq into soloq/duoq.
Yeah longbow gives the most reliable cleansing ire proc, it gives might stacking and zoning. I can’t really argue it’s not strong, but outside of conquest I wouldn’t call it required.
Can we have them in soloq please? I think its due time.
But it’s pointless arguing that warrior’s need longbow. The only reason we use it is because of how conquest works, theres a reason why nobody runs longbow in wvw roaming.
And this is not the case for other classes?

Why are you beeing so sore about warriors using longbow? It’s just a very effective weapon at what it does.
For teamfights hambow is still the strongest, for roaming/dueling I find S/S to be the stronger.

It really depends on the build they are running, but in general their biggest advantage over you would be kiting power. Since they only have condi remove on their heal, you can quite easily overload them with conditions if you hit with most of your skills. Also use Berserker stance offencively.
I think it’s important to note that pushing far is a very effective strategy when executed correctly. Not only by the one going far, but also the rest of the members. If home is clear and there is a 3v4 going on in mid, the guy on home must go mid. If they collapse on the guy going far, rotate to help him on farpoint or atleast help him get out of the situation.
True, if they are pushin far and there is a guy afk’ing on said point. He is doing it wrong, unless he can burst him down instantly. This won’t happen in most situations. I feel all of the issues people are having here are connected to inefective/poor rotations.

Hey kyubi, the sword build i posted is very similar. I’d suggest you using on swap sigils though, since they are twice as effective on warrior than any other class.

Yeah strength rune/dual wielding is a perfectly fine alternative. You trade damage for sustain, I just happen to like the sustain more I guess.

Axebow (barely viable)
Man, Axebow is the second most reliable Warrior build for SPVP, right after Hambow (meta).

I have tested this aswell, but dueling other high sustained classes with this is way harder. Without brawlers recovery you lose so much condi clear and therefor sustain. The damage on the two are extremely similar. Longer bleeds are only good against classes struggling with removing them and those fights should be won easily without the trait, so it’s a bit redundant.

Still viable, but since Eviscerate is so hard to land and the build is heavy realiant on that skill, it makes a bit less viable than Hambow. But if well played it will work fine still

So I started using this build late yesterday and most of today and I was kinda skeptical, what reduced stance durations and no signet mastery? Eh I tried it anyway and it’s been really, really effective. Whenever Iwould go into 1v1 rooms I felt I struggled a bit with guardians because of my burst missed with axe I was mostly done for as they walled me. This sword/sword build makes me outlast most enemies and they have an even harder time trying to run from me. Even if I miss with final thrust, the condi pressure and immobilizes are so good that I feel like I’m not completely reliant on it, it’s just there for the massive burst if I need it.
