If A has Focus 5 up at the same time he has Aegis one attack will strip Both Aegis and one of the 3 stacks of the focus. Because kitten physics 7.
And yes i am not joking, unless they patched that the last 3 weeks, if you block while having Aegis(Block with Shelter, Protectors strike. Focus 5(whatevername it has)), Aegis will still be consumed.
Why is nobody talking about the most broken aspect about this class: Spirit Weapons.
Guardians are rerolling warriors because they are far superior in every aspect, and all were talking about is 5% sword damage? sigh…
There are a few jump in here and there were we say other stuff here aswell. But Jon asked us about the sword skill since alot of us are clearly saying that adding a +5% damage would not do anything since you will miss about 50% of all the attacks.
Shield skills.
4:Shield of Judgment Cast ½, Cooldown 30. Create a shielding wave in front of you that damages foes and gives protection to yourself and up to five allies.
Shield 4 is not terrible it has a low base 302 damage, but i acctualy scales 1.0 with Attack making it rather strong offensive, howver not strong considering cooldoown but a nice burst. Main problem is that with 30 second cooldown for a 5 second protection(Assume no boon duration), it is really lacklusting.
5: Shield of Absorption Cast1½(Weirdly), cooldown 40 . Create a dome around you that pushes foes back and absorbs projectiles.
Shield 5 is not terrible but it is missing alot of key elements. Knockback is as ussualy 5 targets and 320 range and that is fine. However It has alot of disadvantages. For instance you have to channel the skill to keep it active, while channeling the skill you also have to stand still.<—————- Really? And it does not block normal attacks. Don’t get me wrong, the dome should only block projectiles. But why are we not blocking all attacks on us while we channel it.
Detonate:
1,300 base healing and scale 0.2 with healing power, base is rather good as a bonus effect but the scaling is terrible.
This weapon is lacking alot of effect, shield 4 should either add a secondary boon to allies or follow up with its acctualy name and apply a condition to enemies.
Shield 5 is really akward since you have to stand still and i would be tottaly fine with that, if you also Block melee attacks directed on you while doing so.
We are not saying that we are bad bunker, but when we go bunker that is all we can do aswell. When fightning a Mesmer bunker, He/She can still put presure on me. While fightning a Warrior bunker he can still put pressure and hard CC on me. When fightning a Ele Bunker he can still apply pressure to me.
most of these can apply pressure aswell as a additional skill. While all we can do is boon. Im not saying that booning is bad, most of them are rather good. But thats it, never seen anyone run away from my 500 autoattacks.
And i assumed one should dodge easily -telegraphed skills. But il use my 90 sec cooldown for it from now on, oh i pray they don’t have shorter cooldowns.
Forget the sword thing and deal with the guardian core issues first:
- We should be the best at tanking, we are not
- We have both less mobility and less cc than war
- Heal power stuff is pointless as nothing scale enough with it for the stats you lose.
- Aegis need redesign as it is most often inefficient with the amount of multiple hit skills.
- Symbol concept and traits need redisign from a wvw point of view. We have many traits about it for just few weapons using them. It is really hard to use in wvw because (too static, easy to dodge, …))Please take care of the guardian core issues before anything else, we have been waiting (and reporting) long enough for these core issues to be dealt with.
I will agree with you but at the same time i will not agree.
We should be best at tank, Yes we should but that should also come with the drawback of being slow. We either dedicate or we don’t. But our main problem for now is that being in melee gives no big advantages.
As you said we lack CC a few with Hammer but it is really weird to have like one 2 sec imob for 15 sec, a knockback that only hits one and deals very little damage. And the ring of warding is either a hit or miss, with long cast time and force us to stand still while doing so.
Most of our things are lacking in healing scaling and a few don’t. They may have to check it over but i would rather have a healing breeze that heals 5 friends around me first.
Aegis is as you said, totaly bullkitten. It is easily predicted due to Blue giant shield over our head when it triggers and a keept blue shield on our hand. And it will only block one attack, sure it might block a thiefs backstab for 7k or it might block that other guardian staff autoattack for a 200 damage. Considering that almost all of our Aegis skills has a really long cooldown it feels akward since it is ussualy not that good and against a clever opponent it is worthless.
Symbols, i cold not agree more with you, Symbols are really lacklusting and the traits affecting them are to spread out. And most of our weapons don’t even benefit from them.
MH Sword never really lacked damage if you speec for one handed damage, it does howver come with a few drawbacks, Auto-attack chain 3. Will miss alot of time if you do not have a target, even if you stand infront of them, and it is prone to miss targets that are downed.
MH Sword skill 3: Zealot’s defense. Tooltip say block. Kinda miss leading since it will not trigger any On block traits.
The projectile speed on the Main hand sword is rather slow, someone further away than 100 – 150 will almost never be hit, unless they stand still.
Feels like I am a Agent fighting Neo in Matrix eachtime someone sidesteps away from it.
Cause we are not Warriors, Mesmer Necro or a Elementalist. We are Guardian and even the designated dev members who was doing a stream to show off some of our new buffs in the last balance patch could not be bothered to learn the class.
And that leaves us at three conclusions, either all the Developers that actually play Guardians was sick that day, Are afraid of standing in the spotlight or the last and most depressing one, There are no developers that actually play as Guardian in GW2.
All Symbol traits and most symbol skills need to get merged, revamped or added to our current weaponry. Currently they work really bad as a area denial against foes or as a buffing field for friends. And whiteout the trait to make them bigger they are still tiny.
Maybe we can’t get it all whiteout becoming op, but they do need to do something. Most of the time, my enemies stand in my symbol and laugh at the tickling sensation it gives them. Add that it is really easy to dodge out yet i barely see anyone do it anymore, only makes me a sad Charr.
Well it all depends on how you look through it, Most of our consecreation are either bad or extremely situational. With a big exception on wall of reflection(altough it scales bad against smart people.)
Meditation took a huge hit since we use it for burst healing and quick transport back and forth, and im not talking about making them instant. That was actualy rather nice, but now warrior got a buff to there own so not only will they heal more with shout(our base is higher but scale worse). But they will heal everyone on a shorter cooldown than all but one meditation and if they are smart and use soldier rune,
they also remove condition on allies(and shrug it off, already removes.)
Our spirit weapons are terrible and good at maybe SPvP, never used them there but everywhere else, they instant die. And a kittened AI and long cooldown does not help.
Signets are. Meh.
And finnaly shout, the only good one i have yet to see any viability in. Yet they keep buffing or adding more condi cleanse to other classes so our defined role keeps getting obsolete. Not saying it is bad, it is still rather good but what does that leave us?
We lack mobility(don’t get me started on staff and retreat).
We lack damage(Can have nice damage but our survivability becomes less than a none dodge evade thief whitout stealth and movement speed)
We lack Condition control
We lack soft cc(same as above i guess).
And we lack in most aspect Hard CC(We do have a few Hammer / staff)
And we lack a viable range weapon

i’ve noticed most GS zerker guards go down rather fast, and not just from the low base hp either
They do/We do. One of the few reason that our attacks Autoattack. Although scale really nice for once. Is terrible at the end. 1 stack of might for every target you hit.(Remember, anet told us Guardian is not about damage)
Whirling wrath deal very little damage in a 1vs1 and will only excell in a zerg vs zerg environment since it is capable to hit 5 enemies with each 7 strikes and then you have an additional 7 projectiles.(Once again Why do a class that have the “No Damage” status have a attack that only deal damage? And don’t tell me whirl finisher.)
Leap of Faith is one of the only ok ability but 15 second cd for a attack that deals less damage than the finisher on autoattack(but hit up to 5 people) and then blinds for 3 seconds. Once again the blind is the really good part. Leap 600 range, yeah terrible. And blind is not even that good atleast not on a 15 second.
Symbol of wrath. Yeah i totally want to have the weakest Guardian symbol that are ment to scare people away from attacking me. To bad it is long cooldown, retaliation although is about 70% of my damage in PvE(Sad but i kill about 10 mobs as fast as i kill 3 mobs). is nerfed alot in WvWvW and SPvP(i think) so much that dealing 150 damage to your attacker when they hit 7k on your 3.5k armor. Will not scare them away.
Then we come to one of our good abilitys Binding Blade. Well it is a pretty good puller, but it lacks two things, 600 radius. Low scaling damage and who the fudge though it would be a good idé to add a condition on the binding that deal damage. Jesus add that to the impact instead.
So why are GS a bad weapon. Well, most of the time you end up autoattacking. although the damage scale really good, it has nothing special about it, second is that Guardian are not ment to deal damage(Dev team own words) Yet GS is specificly designed to deal damage in almost all situation. And the trait. 5% increase in damage and a heal that is really really really weak and requires you to hit your target. And ontop of that they are going to add that it scales from healing power. Yeah we totaly want that on a good power crit scaling weapon.
I wonder why GS is not healing yourself and allies. Why its finisher on autoattack chain is might instead support boon to yourself and allies, or why the symbol as i consider one of the worst don’t scale bether from the traits, since it is the longest cd. And if perma retaliation was so bad, why are they going to give it to warrior, or not remove it from hammer. Jesus, GS Symbol should add two boons considering its cooldown. And for the love of baby Charr jesus. Buff Light Field!!!!
To make it short, a weapon skill set designed to deal damage added to a class that is not supposed to deal damage. And it has no survivability except a pitiful heal.

GS can net you 3 1/4 might stack. Empower might nets you maximum 5 stacks if you crit as soon as it goes of cooldown. The sigil can net you about 10 stacks assuming the same above statement.
That is a total of 18 stacks if you have no boon duration. And no downtime and crit everytime it goes of cooldown without any spare time between.
However as most Guardian using GS know, the might from the Auto-attack is terrible.
And Zerk Guard are rare cause a fully specced zerker Guard would die instantly to most other classes.

Mmmmm happy fantasy land. Where classes in games are balanced and with great diversity.
Changing this skill to a 2s duration block rather than 2s Invulnerability would create a lot more synergy for Guardians with the traits we have that activate on block.
It would also stop the issue of Invulnerability preventing capture point contributions, as right now a Guardian’s role is to hold ground, but using our Elite makes us give up the ground we are trying the hold…
Changing it to a block would actually be a nerf. As someone posted above, some attacks go through block, would be nice to have some synergy with the traits however.
As giving might, dealing damage or healing to synergies with more than once every 40 second.
But God forgive our traits can actually activate more than once every 40 second!!!

Zealous Blade Healing is way off now and with 2% it’s still a joke, you need 1300 healing power to make it heal for 26 hitpoints when an attack hits.
I’ve put on my Healing power gear/Weapons, my ascended trinkets and im upto 1800
give or take, so then I will be able to heal for 36 hitpoints!if 20 people stand still and let me hit them for 10 seconds I would heal for 1k
(oh wait I can only hit 5 people at a time)now since my toon is level 80 I have 16,000 hitpoints with a whooping heal of 150 hitpoints; again if everyone stands still and in range.
I’ve tried to understand these changes but I can only think of someone that’s in a area that doesn’t scale stats and plays with the numbers at level 2 or something, it just doesn’t add up.
Nothing Arenanet has made for Guardian has made any sense. They give us symbols and spread all the traits around, 50% of our weapons don’t even have symbols.
And All PvP reward high mobility so a (GS)AoE field on 20 second cooldown that has a 180 radius and deals 350 damage @ 3200 power each tick for 5 ticks. Makes no sense at all. Infact, it has been about a year since people actual dodged out of my symbols.
Currently about 90% of our weapon only deal damage, yet the dev team say Guardian are not supposed to deal high damage. Good riddance on that one.
And our consecration lack the same punishment aswell 2k on 5 target damage if they stand in it, for 35 second cooldown is not justified.
And don’t get me started on meditation or the skills that should not be named.

I find it funny that other game companies succeed where Arenanet failed. To create a slow moving bunker class that work as a force multiplier by buffing themself and other around them in terms of survivability and debuffing those it is capable of hitting.
One of the games i refer to is TL2. Although i know the game itself is not a MMO or probably balanced at all. But, everytime i play it i feel like a Guardian. And everytime i play GW2 i feel like playing TL2 with my friends instead.
Fun to see some buffs on Guard and a few of them will be interesting. But there are alot of problems still residing.

Radiance V – Searing Flames. Reduced cooldown from 20s to 10s.
:Really nice. Still random and slightly long cooldown for only stripping boons. But it is on the right way, and it is bether that they make it slow and steady there. Than buff the kitten out of something like warrior……

:Hm ok so increase one of our strongest singel target weapons even more. Why?

My cent of the new patch.
Ay, it could have turned into something wonderful, but the dev made the same mistake as always. They need to start consider where and what they want guard to do.
Currently all but scepter and staff is melee and even the staff is questionable as ranged. All other attacks will most likely put you infront of the allies you have, no mather what situation.
The buff to team healing was really nice however, it could still need a Healing power scale boost but most important, make it aoe around us.
True that updating and changing code may result in unexplained behavior to arise,
that in most cases only can be explained to be caused by the jersey devil or other common mythical creature preferably closer to programming, however.
Calling the latest patch a balance, is to stretch it more than blaming it on mythical creatures.
Unfortunate i will probably not be capable to report any more or repost bugs on the guardian topic. 2,5k hours wasted only to realize that i should have played a warrior.
Don’t get me wrong. Every night i will pray to the almighty potato that something will lure me back to a class i though would eventually be capable to do more than one thing.
There is no road map for Guardian. I’ve been worried since the release of the game but finally the dev team has shown us what the main plan for Guard Is. To be deleted and forgotten in about a month or two.
People will slowly start to play warrior now. Been playing since day one of this game and every patch we never get anything good except bug fixes. But there is always some light at the end of the tunnel, Anet has inspired me to get a job as a game balance. Clearly no previous experience or skill is needed except receiving a paycheck and using dice’s to determen the changes.
I will create my own Guardian class with balance, blackjack and hookers.
7. Other classes do it better. What specifically? Just name it. One exception: Aegis…. wow…. that’s real game changing there.
Let me let you in on a little secret, you know that new dungeon path that just opened? You know when the last boss does his 5 time ground pound charged attacked at 30 stacks? THAT can be totally negated by Aegis. Yeap, that team wiping move, negated by well timed Aegises from two Guardians. Talk about a game changer.
Oh and guess how my team killed Sparki one time? Protection and Retaliation. It was funny.
So you are comparing two boons we can apply in the most optimal situation it will ever come to, and as you said you need two guardian for the Aegis part. So Why don’t i see more Guardians with a shield?
In theory you can block over a million projectiles as long as they shoot them during a 4 second window. Or Warrior and guardian invur should be reduced to have maximum one second since you can ignore unlimited amount of damage, same with evade. Why don’t we limit dodge and evade to only one attack since you now evade or dodge unlimited amounts during those seconds it lasts. Well maybe cause that would be the dream scenario, sometimes average things or extremely situational things are precisely that, situational.
Indeed i never said we have good cc abilitys. They are infact terrible and i like the ide. Only dislike the “Chill” part of it, as i’ve stated why above.
Don’t get me wrong. I love Warrior that are banner and shout is also nice. Though harder to notice, and i never had anything against warrior self healing as that is what they are supposed to be. Here lies the problem. They heal other bether than a Guardian do and there “shout heal” depending on you’re healing power will either heal close or more than guardian med healing and i don’t guess you’re shout trait requires 40 traiits in a tree cause then it would make sense. Guardians AoE F2 virtue is not really that good aswell, maxed out it will heal 1 – 5 people who are whitin 240 radius for about 500 – 600 each 1 sec.
And that is not really as reliable as most of the time, alot of people do not benefit from that bonus, This is also assuming full healing gear.
A warrior with full healing gear is going to have Regen base + (healing power x .033) to 1 – 25 targets, slightly more. Now i don’t know what the base for regen is but we are allready up at 333 healing if we assume healing power 1000 and that is rather easy to get.
The other problem most of us see with warrior self healing being high is that they can get to numbers of 1500 Hp/s if we top it on the high scale, And the main reason guard has so low health is cause our passive regen and passive Aegis. And F2 scale worse than warriors self regeneration.
And for our symbol that heal, yeah it is nice but only if you force your’self to use symbol creating weapon, and then there are also limits. For instance. All the symbols heal the same HP/s but they have different cooldown, for instance. Hammer can be keept up 90 – 100% if traited for longer symbols aswell. Mace can be keep about 60 or 90% if you trait it aswell. Then we have GS that only will give you a 25% or 50% uptime
and staff lasting 80% or 100% if traited. And the weird thing is. Al the symbols heal the same. each second.
Does not really make any sense in my eye’s.
I like alot of you’re ide’s but with that being said. A long time ago in a different galaxy Guardians were more about burn, then someone though we needed a CC “we do”. However i don’t think it feels that much like a guardian to chill people.
And it is really not worth 20 traits for the current one we have. I would like if they invested more on our Burn and made it more viable and fun, as burning someone then chilling them only to burn them again feels slightly wrong.
My opinion though.
F1 is awesome already stated, F2 is ok but not really that good unless you stack alot of healing. And F3, oh it is good i get 5 sec protection and 20 sec aegis. Good i really need that Aegis after protection, oh wait it dosen’t work like that, well guess i really need that 1 attack protection.
Shout is burst healing, not HP/S, what i find silly is the scaling to be 80% and can if wanted to easily outmatch Guard meditation healing, and we only heal ourself. While they heal everyone. Only thanks to the recent buff can we keep at almost the same pace with shout healing contra our medi. Medi used to scale 10% but they changed it to 40%.
And for banner, i don’t know about you. But if im not fighting but rather moving from A to B i tend to pick up a banner and bring it with me to help the few banner warriors that i do see, cause perma regen on 5 – 25 people is kinda op. So help the fellow warrior out and pick up banners if you are not doing anything.
Cause 95% of the time it is not needed to coordinate.
Amen to that brother. Since start a year ago i’ve never feelt like a “Guardian” but i do admit that Virtue F1 is really nice.
Remember we have the tied lowest health with thief and ele thanks to our regeneration and Aegis, Clearly aegis is alot stronger than you think not like aegis will block the first attack no mather what damage. Clearly it is designed to ignore low damage attacks.
Well tank, no. That is not true Warrior can do that role bether, although i don’t know why you would want to. In a PvE point of view. Why tank when you can dps the sanity out of the mob.
Support, well im not gonig to say we are bad, if you use focus for blind, wall of reflection and condition removal in the shout you are an ok support.
The healing part i don’t really understand, the game is not designed to have a dedicated healer and if there ever was one. As of the current abilitys it is either Warrior shout / banner or Elementalist. Not a Guardian, our only heal that is good is the dodge one.
And dps, no. I mean, no. If you play Guardian for damage then you are in to be disappointing, we got the lowest overall damage in the game. I mean it is even lower than Randy Newman, perhaps he should try and raise the bar slightly.
So what makes us so good. Well we do have Hammer for perma protection in melee.
Focus for rather dependent blind and ok regen with a awesome blocking ability.
shield for a rather ok projectile blocker.
Mace for reliable blocking and minor healing.
We have staff for, doing staffy things.
We have GS for unreliable damage and cleansing.
And that is about it, if you want “Damage” as a guardian, it is either 1h Sword or Scepter, Scepter should win under perfect performance.
And what makes us great is the aoe blind on F1 virtue, AoE Aegis although slightly unreliable, and the amount of Group stability we can throw out.
Main problem with GW2 design is that most bosses can be so hard countered by bringing down the thunder on there head that they won’t even notice what struck them. And there is the main problem, Bosses are not designed to promote CC abilitys. Bosses are not promoted in prolonged combat. And that is what i feel is wrong.
Remember how the dungeons were before, way back. You could WP during combat and zerg a boss to death, they improved that. But they still have not improved alot of encounters. Before they buffed AC we could solo it. DOes that seem like a good Dungeon design??. NO, the game is designed to bring you down to the current area level, therefore if they design a dungeon “5 man teamwork” then it should require teamwork. They made AC harder, but i still barely see teamwork. All i see is most of the time 4 other people bashing there head as hard as they can against a boss head, and then they prey that the boss will die before they do.
And that is not even the sad part. The sad part is that 95% of the time, it works bether than coordinated teamwork.
Due to how dungeons are designed in PvE elementalist is currently the best class, don’t know if you have noticed but Fiery GS = kittenloads of damage. And PvE is designed that damage > everything else. Now they might need a buff for SPvP i won’t question that since i’ve never played one. But what i do know that a dedicated ele for buffing, buff bether than a dedicated Guard buff. And the ele got more buffs aswell, what they lack however is Stability.
GS has some really nice speed in it playstyle and it feels, right and that gives me might. But unfortunate the hammer is so much bether than the GS current design. Yet i still use the GS, for when i use hammer for melee. I feel slow and all i spam is Weapon skill 1 “Totally not auto attack” and once here and there i use skill two for blast finisher.
Sadly, that is the case. Wish GS had more either utility function that i can depend on or more damage. Cleansing condition on nearby ally’s is a nice bonus, sadly we send our cleanser in random direction.
Smite is good, but has two major disadvantages. Requires the mob to stay inside it for full potential, and the bigger they are the bether. Besides those two things it actually scales really good for that low cooldown and range. I can’t really give you thy numbers you want, but if you want damage that is you’re bread and butter. Guess we traded High risk for great reward with our melee weapons to a new slogan. Punish those fat lazy kittens.
I love when I lose a 1v1 fight against a warrior who has 8k more hp and his passive healing is 3 times what mine is and I think “Ya know, even after we got nerfed into the ground during the beta events, we still didn’t have that much damage and passive healing”

But yeah, it’s true. The passive healing from Healing Signet DOES outheal Virtue of resolve passive.
What it DOESN’T outheal, is Virtue of Resolve + Signet of Resolve + Protection/Regen Weapon Skills + Protection/Regen Utility Skills.
You’ve got to remember, you can’t look at this stuff in a bubble. War #6, is the ONLY heal button. Wars have NO regen or protection from any weapon skills, or utility skills.
The only alternate method of healing available is from traits, such as shout/banner heals…. but then Guardian can do the same thing, and get either Perma-Vigor/Dodge-roll healing, Altruistic Healing, Symbol Healing, or such.
Cool, sounds like warrior don’t have regeneration banner builds that heal 5 – 25 people, or shout that can reach higher than meditation heal and don’t forget that warrior shout only heals 5 people. Unlike the Guardian one that only heal our self. So yeah, except those two utility builds they have nothing to heal themself. But then again, i’ve seen more unicorns in GW2 than i’ve seen Shout or banner builds so maybe they don’t exist except when you check traits.
The only thing we have that warrior don’t is Aegis and Protection.
We are not extremely terrible for PvP or WvWvW as you make it sound, our main problem right now seems to be that in PvE there is nothing we can do that someone can’t do bether and for PvP / WvWvW it feels like we are locked to shout build or called a scrub that needs to L2P. Also we have one specc that is kinda silly and performe godly in WvWvW so not terrible, only locked. Side note, oure damage seem to be kinda lack luster in my opinion but that might due to the fact that most people take my attacks in the face and laugh. THen again most of the time they give up after 5 min and run away.
Not fully speced into virtues but i rarely use F2 or F3 for a few reason, i have to say that F1 is a god gift sent by the all mighty raptor Jesus however, F2 barey seems to do anything except in “desperate” situation and then 95% of the people i play with ussualy runs away and OOC rather than depend on my 1.5k heal. And the F3 is really really silly, it is so situational that sometimes it is really good. And sometimes it is terrible, Aegis itself will either save you’re party from a big 50k attack, or block that mobs 1 damage attack only to open up for another 50k attack, and the virtue trait to give protection to it don’t really make any sense at all, since the aegis last for 20 seconds, and the protection last for 5 seconds. Might be different specced to the end high to make them stronger, but for now F2 and F3 are so easily forgotten and that is precisely what i have done. Forgot about them.
Cause Anet current design = Damage > Everything else. Horrible PvE design in my eye’s but dosen’t seem like they are going to change it anytime soon.
Side note:
Even defiance as it is behaving now is really really bad and actually punishes people for using most of there CC against bosses, if there is someone in the party with a longer duration cc. One easy way to fix is, "defiance is timed x3 on the duration that the current cc had. Meaning if you stun them for 10 seconds, they will gain defiance for 30x where 10 of those will be during the “stun”. Would motivate alot more CC ability’s. Then we are only started on way to design good PvE. Sadly, it seems like no interest has been given to the PvE content although it has been updated alot since release so atleast it is bether than it used to be.
It is completely worthless. Got added from the Anet Guardian team as a desperate move after they combined the GS 5% damage and pity full heal into the same. It is as we know a wide known fact at this moment that the Guardian dev team have abandoned hope and joined with the warrior dev team to atleast design one good class. And our old dev team got replaced by two carrots.

I have a dream that my five traits will one day exist in a game, where they will not be judged by their profession and forced into a single meta build.
It has been a long time since i had that dream, but i refuse to stop believing that it one day will become true!!!

Never had any problems before with conection, however since two days ago i’ve been unable to stay logged in for more than 5 – 10 min. Doing so will result in a “Network error: Code 14:4:5:1082:101”.
Now it seems liek alot of people seem to have this problem so i will probaly not be the first or last one, however.
I find it weird this appeard for me 2 – 3 days ago, and i took a breake for about a week before that. And nothing in my hardware or software has changed, except. GW2 being updated.
Now i’ve never had any connection issues before with this game or any other game or activity’s i perform online. So if Anet currently are replacing there server a notice would be nice, atleast people would be able to send you some hamsters to keep a more stable server than your current backup one.
Because i wanted to play front line that deals less damage than every other class in the game with tied lowest health pool with thief’s and elementalist.
And rely on my boons that get stolen or turned into condition.
Only so i can have traits to overwrite my friends 25 stacks of might or why not follow the guardian way and play defensive support with meditation that heals …. me, or giving boons heals, once again only me.
Oh well, atleast i got retaliation dealing 150 – 300 damage to enemies striking me for 6k damage. Oh wait, that is a boon. Nevermind.
Well atleast we still got wall of reflection to do something awesome with, guess they are going to give it some more love aswell soon.
Tome of Courage
Tome of Courage will remove any active effect of Protection you have on you when the duration ends or is exited early.
No mather the source from where the protection was gained, “Ex: Self buffing from Protective spirit”, or protection gained from allies.
Strength in numbers
Guardian minor trait “Strength in numbers” buff Tool tip still states 70 toughness although the actual effect mimic the 150 described in Skills and Traits.
