Don’t blame em for doin that bud, they might be in a completely different timezone and therefore are at work/school your primetime. I know it’s not as fun for the recieving end to be left out from the battle but that’s what we do to the ones nightcapping stuff, they do miss out on our fun.
Dzagonur bring the Stomper train out to play at evenings. Our 10 man group has been trampled more then once by that Red Blob of Stomp.

If it’s Nolby Pride I suggest you look for a server that’ll face up against Piken Square. They’ve had an influx of solid w3 guilds and with an already solid base of w3 guilds they should prolly suit your likings the most.

Least exciting matchup so far for Dzag., Gandara and Aurora pulling out numbers that Dzag just cant hold.
Some n1 small fights but mainly big Zerg Groups, especially from Aurora 22:00+. Cant really call this matchup interesting , just a pure Number Game but thats mainly how W3 works in Gw2. Well lets wait for the Servers to settle after the Free transfer has been stoped.

So, right now me and my guild mate’s fra [NFF] was defending Greenbriar in Gandara borderlands! Really good time’s with the red Gandara, when suddenly, out of nowhere, a little AR group fly into the tower some how, all from the guild [LDF] (Larmes do Feu), and cap the tower while we are busy defending the gate (shame on us for not looking at lord room), but still. So, this look like hack to me, and I can send some screenshots (Anet don’t want us to post SS about stuff like that here).
Anyway, any know this guild, or is from it, that would care to explain what you just did before we report the entire guild for hacking?

Oh and another thing, the free server jumps every 7 days isn’t exactly something that makes things more balanced. I’d say it’s what letting many servers/players down.

Tonight I ended up face down in da mud more often then usual. TUP, you guys are nasty but maybe a tad predictable. Anyways, waiting for some of our guildmates to return to the game from irl so we can field our troops and have a clash against you on more equal terms. So fed up with the bickering that’s been rolling in this thread.
Just let it be something in the past, not to be remembered and focus on the future instead.

Ultimately the game needs to change the rewards into something that reflects the effort people put into it. The points system should reflect the amount of attendance relative to kills more, and less on flipping camps and other structures. That’s the only way to gain an understanding of even match-ups instead of a point system that rewards high population at all hours.

The problem is that the shark ends up inside the wall/ground where you can’t see it. I still managed to do the event with my ranger as when i got target on the bugged mob my pet started attacking it and finally killed it.
To get it to work you should have auto target on, an AOE skill or a pet that can attack it. I even tried to pull off the pet in order for the shark to follow and become visible, that didn’t work out well, instead it de-aggroed and healed back up again.
But it’s still doable if you just have the tools to do this.

Last night I had ickle lag culling kitten to handle, worst was when AR decided to open one of the garrison doors in Gandara BL. At first I didn’t see anyone, then a few and then BOOM… Flattened out within milliseconds.. so I went wtf.. Released and ran back to fight from a bit safer distance. Fix the darned Culling issues A-net.

Oh is it by the waterwall in Bay that they manage to glitch in? I kept finding those few CHOC’s in Bay saturday morning with nothing breached and none of them a mesmer…… Wondered where they were glitching through.
The annoying thing is that they were not even being subtle about it and were just rather cynically killing all our internal siege so it would be easier to cap.
Exactlly, I believe they know pretty much that what they’re doing is not correct and there to be used in such a manner, but they simply don’t care and play it like it’s fairplay and all. I just want em to disappear so we get to play with likeminded people who actually prefer to knock down a wall or a door instead.

That’s the same guild I saw doin suspicious stuff around bay watergate, yesterday, right below my nose. I was up on the battlements using the cannon there when one of em glitched across the wall and started fighting the guard on the other side. I later went down there to see if I could make the same jump, absolutely impossible to do something similar without some kind of exploit. So it would be nice if someone on AR side could talk some sense into these guys or they’ll prolly gonna have to go and buy a new game box. If they don’t get server an IP ban ofc, then it doesn’t matter.

There’s a few things that comes to my mind when mentioning other mmo’s out there. One thing I’d love to see is the simple /face command, really useful little thing as many old Daoc players are familiar with. Another thing I’d love to see is a simple /follow or /stick command, and that’s not simply because I’m lazy, I’m just used to have it and it’s simple and useful when running with guild.

First of all, don’t blame a whole server for cheating when it’s a minority doing so.
Second of all, I’d report anyone the same instant I saw anyone doin just that regardless if they play on the same server or an enemy server.

Hello I did this and I had yet another seizure when I ran your repair are there any other answers you have? This is ridiculous.
Just delete the Local.dat file in your game dir. After you’ve done that you need to fill in your account details and passw again. Should solve that issue of yours anyway, it fixed mine.

Check in your game directory if there’s a .dat file called Local.dat.
Try to just rename the file (I just re-typed Local) and launch it again.

@Mhim, I caught PRO guild teleporting a little earlier. They took hills and bay in a matter of minutes. I reported them and caught them on fraps at bay. 30 mins ago I was on my toon having fun, then I decided to get daily finished so went to portal to get back to Lion’s Arch. Entered the portal BANG game crashed. Ok, no problems just fire it up again, but NO.

Wall jumpers should consider goin elsewhere if they’re gonna take towers/keeps without breaking door/wall. The sportsmanship towards your enemy and the friendship with your server is worth a lot more then cheating. You may pat yourselves on the back for stacking up points but I think most of us “normal” players honors our enemy this much that playing the game as it’s supposed to be played.
Reporting any cheater I happen to come across and I don’t care if it’s from my own server or not, Period!!

Wish I could have been there to participate in the event. It’s a shame that some feel the need to KoS if it’s not ppl from the same server. But despite that I admire the ones that try to bring something like this to the table for all to enjoy, for better or for worse.

What needs to be understood that this whole nightcapping thing has been a somewhat organized campaign on our server’s part to capture as many points as possible in order to prevent falling down too many tiers again.
We fell to tier 7 by a margin of something ridiculous like 100 points last time and are making sure it won’t happen again. It’s definitely overkill to pull nightshifts when the match-up has likely already been won but we have to be thinking of the future also. We had the better of Drakkar’s Lake twice yet they keep getting ranked above us because dominant wins in lower tiers are seen as better than competitive losses in higher tiers.
Obviously we have more numbers than the other servers in this tier so it will be good for everyone involved if we stay out of it. It allows Gunnar’s Hold and Ring of Fire to introduce more of their players to competitive WvW and eventually challenge us again.
If you guys do jump a whole extra Tier I’m guessing you’ll be the underdog for a whole week, and that’s even with your nightcapping skills. During peak hours AG aren’t as dominating as you seem to think. That said you surely dominated the first 2 days pretty horribly but on the other hand, I can only speak for GH in this, our server seemed to field a really low amount of players during that first weekend, which was kinda surprising to see. Time will tell how fun it’ll be for AG to skip one tier and end up facing more populated servers then your own, atleast on peak hours.
Looing forward to a new match-up this coming weekend.

I know exactly which supp camp you’re refering to as I’ve fought ppl running back and forth to that spot.
It’s not close to any spawn at all, yes there’s legendary guards up on the hill but the invulnerable spot is down from the guard, in the actual battlefield BUT, it’s just a small spot where you’re untouchable from enemy damage.
So yes, this should be considered as an exploit and to all knuckleheads using it, grow a pair and fight on equal terms or just log off from w3.

Problem for me is all those effects from other sources, with an older machine I’d like to be able to turn that stuff off if I want to. It’s just slowing stuff up for me anyways.
In general the game needs more options to improve performance on older machines.

WvW weekly score has nothing to do with killing other players, although an awful lot of that will happen along the way. You win your weekly matchup by taking and HOLDING the points on the map. Killing a single guy roaming an enemy map doesn’t do a thing for the weekly score for my server, and it’s just silly to tell us that we’re double teaming the leading server based on that.
If you want pure player kill I suggest you go try sPvP.
I’ll simply return the favor then, if you want to PvE stuff, stay out of the wvw zones.
