People don’t like to hear it, but it’s a L2P issue. Good players don’t have so much problems with thiefs. Don’t run around alone, always have a finger on your stunbreak and cc the thief.

The best time we measured (from gate open to boss down) with our war/mes group was 5:01min, but we still had cooldown on timewarp on the first boss. Under 5mins can be done if everything runs perfect, we could optimize our gear even more too. Once we ran so fast we only got 1 token at the end due to DR.

JQ folks never said we had round the clock coverage. I think you will find that opinion came from the whiners on the other servers. JQ has coverage gaps just like every other server. Congratulations on your ppt total.
Yep, that’s what i meant with it. I play on JQ.
Try different builds in the PvP Area before buying armor. A mix between Knights and berserker is a good for an all-around-set for PvE and WvW. Head, Chest and Legs knights-stats, the rest berserker. Don’t invest too much into defense-stats (vitality, toughness and healingpower), you won’t be able to tank much anyway. Just use your dodges, defy pain, shield stance or whirlwind to evade attacks. Get some Omnomberry Ghosts at the Trading Post, helps alot staying alive.

Don’t like the dailies at the moment, they feel like job. Do this and that and then do this and that, all for a leaf of spinach. Just work the checklist off as quickly as possible, so that i can do the things i actually like to do. I think i will take a break until the WvW-patch.

I would like to play different classes in WvW but i can’t be bothered to level another char. Leveling is just boring. Hell even cof-farmruns are more fun then leveling. Playing as an upleveled char in WvW isn’t fun either and i will be a liability to my server.

You only get all boons for 5sec even in pve. Only the healing skill boon lasts 10sec in pve.
All boons for 15sec every 48sec would be a bit OP.

Pls don’t change the current Orr into some sunshine and happiness-crap. I like Orr the way it is now. Anet have invested a lot of development-time to create the current orr-maps and events, would be a waste to brush it over.
They should just use the range and animation of the sword #2 leap for eviscerate. Its really hard to hit a target in WvW the way eviscerate works now. They should also fix the other leap / charge skills (bull’s charge, greatsword #5 rush), they miss to often / overshoot the target to be reliable.
WvW-shutdown while capping SM… Anet plays on Blackgate apparently.
Sigil of Hydromancy is also nice. But the active Sigils share the same cooldown. If you have Sigil of fire on the mainhand weapon, and it procct in the last 5 secs, you will not get the endurance from the sigil of energy or the chill from sigil of Hydromancy. I therefor use +5% crit or +5% damage for offhand.

I prefer the mobility of swords #2 leap over the damage of the axe. Sword F1 is also nice for stopping fleeing foes. With the Leg specialist trait, you can lock foes in place for quite some time. For off-hand i mostly use a shield though.
I use Sigil of Fire on my sword and rifle. For my sword, shield and warhorn i use Knights-stats, and beserker-stats for the rifle.

I find Southsun Cove is one of the the ugliest places in the game. It looks like it was knitted with a hot needle. It’s not of the same quality like the rest of the gameworld. The place is only good for farming while waiting for a Dungeon / fractal-group and the rich ore once a day.

Of course you should be able to run faster then 33%, otherwise what would be the point of the Trait? I think max run speed is capped at 50%. If the runes of speed would work, warrior’s could run at 50% speed when traited.
With the Warrior-trait “Warrior’s Sprint” (Run 10% faster while wielding melee weapons)
you can definitly run faster then 33%.

This is totally game-breaking. Every time i log in, i can’t do anything but think about this texture. I want a refund! :>
Maybe there has to be a limit how many AOEs can be active in one area. The Aoe is really strong if there is only one small path where you have to go through. For example if you got the Southwall down at Klovan Gully, and there is only one Stair left to get to the Towerlord, it becomes almost impossible to get there if the defender casts heavy Aoe in the upper corner of the Stair. You would die within seconds if if try to go upstairs, even if you charge in with a group.
Maybe a large coordinated guild could get through, but the truth is most of the time the zergs are just small groups of people.

Look as in game a warrior alone can do more damage than 2 other players while facetanking a boss……
What Game are you playing? In most Dungeons and Fractals, Warriors use the rifle most of the time. Show me some Videos of Warriors at Fractal lvl 30+, who are “facetanking” Bosses besides exploited Mossman.
Besides almost all your posts are against warriors…

Standard skill balance approach is “If it’s not Warrior, it needs nerfing.”.
You know what, Warriors got ground-targeting Aoe’s too. In Zerg vs Zerg- Combat the Longbow is a the most useful weapon. If you try to melee as a warrior vs a zerg, most of the time, you will have a full condition bar and be low on health before you can even hit a target and be lucky to get out of combat alive.
And it’s now only in WvW. In Pve, if you fight against a large number of Mobs, you will get more loot and do more damage with Longbow / axe-axe, then with Greatsword / Rifle.
Aoe’s don’t need a nerf, i like it how it is now.

I havn’t played much PvE in GW1, i mostly PvPed.
I played DoA around 20 times, it was challenging. If your group wasn’t good, you wouldn’t get past the first group of mobs. No Waypoint / Checkpoint-zerging.
The community for the end-game-dungeons was really bad, mostly made up of elitist jerks. If you just got a single different skill on your skillbar, then what they thought was the only viable build, they would kick you from the party, no questions asked.
I really like the Arah-dungeon in GW2. When it was new, it was challenging and fun to find out the Boss-mechanics. Now that almost everybody got geared up, have min/maxed there builds and know all the exploits and Boss-mechnaics, it’s mostly just a farmfest. The Artist and Developer’s did a really good job, the atmosphere inside Arah is just great. I would like to see more big Dungeons like Arah.

Imagine the whole team would play high-lvl FOTM fully decked in MF-gear. It would be like playing with only four. Then someone got a disconnect, what would they do then? Change gear? Hell no, they would rather let the party wipe and go back to la before taking off their precious mf-gear.

At Fractal-level >30 you will need all the Stats you can get. Even with 3000 Armor and over 20k health, some Mobs will kill you almost instanstly. If you play in Full-MF-gear and die alot and the group often wipes because of you, they wont invite you again. The Fractal-community is not that big, you will meet the same people again.
besides, to get loot from a mob, you have to do enough damage to tag the mob.
FOTM killed the rest of the Game on my Server. No Queues for Enternal bg and some Borderland-maps are totally empty. The Pve-zones are deserted. The rewards from FOTM are just to good.
They have to bring the rewards for all types of gameplay on approximately one level.
Just playing FOTM gets really boring. I hope that they will bring back the daily zaishen-quests from gw1, it would revive the rest of the game-world.
GW2 End Game = wait hours in LA to find a fractal group, play some fractals, wait hours to find a fractal group…
if you are lucky the game gives you or your groupmembers some random disconnect inside a fractal to break the monotonous grind up.

Its a videogame, do you think people in gaza or israel would care about +5 vitality on an item in a game. Get your anger in proportion.
Its true, but nobody cares for anything other then oneself really. Most people will tell you otherwise, but at their heart they know that it’s true.
So don’t be a judge. If a videogame is a important part of their life, it’s only natural for them to get angry and rebel against changes that occur they don’t like.

So wheres the fix? Its a serious problem, you better fix it immediatly.
A “Soon” could mean anything from you. You have broken your promise that there would be no Item-treadmill, you got no credibility left. Doesn’t matter if you say that there is no Treadmill.
I got 2 disconnects and 1 Game-crash will running a fractal.
I have waited hours just to find a group for the specific fractal level.
In the higher fractals its really tough for the four remaining players to go on, they won’t be to happy to play with me again. The fractals are the only thing fun left in this Game.
WvW is so broken with all the invisible Enemies, Lags and poor Graphic-performance that i won’t play it anymore.
The game is a small disaster from a technical standpoint. Every aspect of the game is bugridden. You guys need better QA and a public test-server.
The Conecpt-art and the Ingame-implementation is the best i have seen in any Game though.

The Fractal Tier-design is totally broken, i have waited hours in Lions Arch to find a Level 6 Group or Players without success on a heavy populated Server. Nobody wants to group with eachother if they are not on the same difficulty level.

It sucks for all Players. The who wants to play on high difficulty don’t find a group or have to wait hours on end in Lions Arch.
I’m serious thinking about just uninstalling GW2 and never look back. Don’t like to wait hours to run in the Item-treadmill.
