/edit: Thanks to the GuM thief i fought at northeast camp, UW border. I’m still wondering how i managed to beat perplexity runes (13 stacks confusion max iirc) with only my torch to cleanse them ^^

Same goes for your server, running away from a 1 vs 1 and then comming back with 1,2 or even 3 little helpers is something that often happens, every server has runners….

Besides, UW skill generally seems a lot higher than FSP. Granted, they are a lot of D/P thieves and reg warriors around, which aren’t really fun playing against, but here’s still hoping that ArenaNet someday manages to fix these.

Funny, in the 1 vs 1 i’ve had this match-up i’ve yet to stumble across this higher skill. I’ve won some i’ve lost some but all decent fights. To bad a lot of people tend to run when they realize attacking me isn’t an instant kill. And no im not a thief nor a warrior.

Same here, i roamed AG border the last couple of days and i am a bit dissapointed. People tend to run into towers, supply camps when i approach or after going almost down. Even had a 2 vs 2 where 1 of my opponents ran back to the tower to man the cannon… Haven’t found an even fight so far, no problem because it is wvw and not 1 vs 1. But if people try to jump me atleast finish the fight and dont run into safety if the fight doesn’t go your way

It was more our intention to show respect for Kale and Punk since those are the only 2 guilds we really see in WvW this match up. No harm was intended with our comments. If you have any issues with forum posts made by our members just send me a /w in game.

There might have been a rumor you loot would include a precursor or perhaps it is just not smart to run into a big enemy group.
Wasn’t there so of course can neither confirm nor deny these theories.

Been getting used to be chased by 10+ FSP whenever I solo roam when we’re not having guild raids. Dont think they like our guildtag anymore Taco, we should go into our über guild instead when roaming!

Well it seems our servers are the same then, AG people love to chase me 1 vs 8 of 1 vs 10 in your border. And they realy enjoy attacking me when i am busy 1 vs 1-ing some1 from the RoS border. Love the corpse jumping some of you AG-ers do. If the insane skill you need to have to kill a single player is nog enough they pull out a nifty trick jumping on a corpse. Talking about über

Great fights at our border, AoA event was a succes. We had a lot of fun defending garri and sneak capping some towers on the side

This just sucks, obviously Anet has most of the blame for all this unbalancing game mechanics both in PVE vs WVW rewarding and matchup+point mechanics.
BUT
seriously FSP mostly and ROS too, why do u give up so heavily? calling us a blob server and night cappers is irrelevant and situational. It reached the point your getting overloaded by Ag players because we literally have no one to fight elsewhere, mapchat is just ppl asking where the heck they can get some wvw action.
You guys seem to not realise we every other week play servers with double our numbers and although we do have less players joining wvw we still always have fights going on.

Fine, we AG outnumber you, but why not play entierly? at least just draw ~40-50 players to one map and ignore rest of maps.

And to FSP personally, AG few months back lost almost ALL it’s wvw guilds, the commnder +pug community tightened up and new guilds came not long after, mid tier is where wvw is akittens best, least lag less queues more skill, try recruiting from top tier servers.

We (AoA) had enough fights going on yesterday at the reset. To bad it was 25 vs 60 at some point. During reset we didnt even had enough guilds to cover every battleground with 1 guild… has AG has ever had such low cover? And this has been going on and on for weeks now so dont talk about giving up easily, WvW has to be fun for me and seeing us tick scores of 10-50 every day i wake up isnt fun for 1 bit. And that’s entire the fault of our server and the kittenty cover that we have.

With the leaving of FSV we lost a big chunk of our WvW guilds seeing we don’t have that many on FSP. WvW is getting less and less fun on FSP atm. Let’s hope we get back up again and actually field a decent WvW army. But this week is another loss, our fairweather players are farming pve content and it looks like we got another nightcapping server to play against.

Had some great 1 vs 1 and small fights in GH border ( i am the bold human mesmer dressed all black) you sure got some great roamers

Nightcapping…..guess this will be a week of losing again for FSP. Nothing wrong with nightcapping, but FSP never does that so all those points will ensure a win for the other server. FSP is realy in a downwards sprial…

During prime time FSP still fights and fights hard. To bad this game is about coverage and we at FSP dont have good coverage outside primetime.

Kinda disapointed about the lack of roamers in AG and ROS. It’s hard to find 1 vs 1 battle’s. It’s easy to find 5 vs 1 battle’s though.

Had some great fun on ROS border just pvp-ing with a small group vs small groups

AG realy pressuring FSP on EB, is it your goal to whipe us of the entire map? Just attack ROS for a while np :p

Thanks to all who were on gandara borderlands tonight, we had a lot of fun

Elona ran with a lot of small groups that were a blast to fight! FSP was running with separate guild groups, although AoA was a bit too big for us, still had some good fun. Was quite a bit of blobbing going on from gandara side at certain points, so sorry for any inconvenience from that ^^

I bet we had the most uncoordinated golem zerg ever…. in true gandara style. We managed to kill em off by attacking lake, which I’m pretty sure also isn’t too common :P Was almost bed time, so might as well use them in open field combat.

We had quite the group (AoA) but you gave us a run for our money

You seriously need 60 man zerg and 2 trebs to take mendon off 10 FSP players?

Tell me is camping our spawn in EB with people manning all kinds of sieges to avoid actual combat is the way Elona thinks if fun to play? Kinda sad imo. Atleast come out and fight.

Funny commenting about FSP placing sieges in open field, allthough i think an ac in open field is a no-go, running with the entire zerg into a tower to spam ac is also kinda lame, or running around with such a big zerg that you create skillag also sucks.

Just popped out of the game to say what an epic fight we just had trying to deffend EB SM from the Underworld and AG zergs… haven’t had so much fun in WvW for a long time (despite the skill lag). This is going to be an awsome WvW week no matter who will be 1, 2 or 3 after this week

I just don’t get what the fun in running in those big groups is, it sucks the pleasure out off WvW imho. Winning by numbers can’t be as much fun as winning by skill. Not that i am saying you haven’t got skill, just stating that you feel no need into actually trying.
The skill lag is insane and all you need to do is run forward and press 1 because of the sheer number of people doing it makes the opponents go down…
And yes people will go on about me “crying” bla bla bla.
I just find it irritating that i am online to get some decent fights in WvW, points mean nothing to me, and all i find is skillag and people running away from your megazergs…

Or we could stop acting like kids on the forum and, you know, actually enjoy the game

Had some great fights in EB yesterday evening, we were slightly outnumbered and we had quite a few pug-ers ignoring our commander but we did what we could and had great fun doing it

So far i am having fun in WvW, we still manage to put up a fight from time to time. Yesterday we had some crazy rushes from PS on our keep in EB. We wiped, they Wiped, we wiped some more etc All in all it is a fun week in WvW eventhough PS is a bit out of our league

Did some WvW saturday and i must say ,although we are a bit outranked/played , i had fun. Lots of open battles vs medium sized groups. Let’s make this week a fun week in wvwv. Cya on the battlefield

Just pick the class you think is the most fun to play. I’ve picked ranger as my first class because i like ranged classes and had the most experience in playing a “ranger like” class (Hunter in WoW). I tried Warrior: didnt like that, Guardian: fun, and now Mesmer: love it. Just create a character play and if you dont like it switch class/race

one problem is to get more then one commander
the second problem is to explain to people they should split up on 2 (or more) commanders. if half of the people are not in ts and just causal player thats nearly impossible. and if you have a 30 man random zerg you lose to a 20 man organised zerg. and most players dont want to lose so they stay together to win

well the tactics seem to work, to bad the fights are a bit boring (for me personally)

Why do you (AM) walk with such a large zerg? Isn’t it a better tactic to split up and take serveral towers/keeps etc at the same time? You have the numbers to make 2 or 3 pretty large zergs.
