What exactly is the point of worrying about your family? I’m affected by the hurricane and there isn’t crap I could do. You’re going to go on your porch and wave a shotgun threateningly until it just up and leaves?

I imagine the people posting could be one of many who’re just going to lose power. Chances are they’re aware of how the storm would affect them because they’ve had storms before. So if you live by the river kitten you know you’re going to flood. That is all you can do. Prepare.

So who cares if he is a little concerned about the event? Does it really matter? Does his request somehow make him this horrible individual that is neglecting his family for a video game? Less crusading, please.

I do still find it to be a bit extreme. There are no time stamps so you only really have my word on it, but the time between the first link and then the one above the blocked messages was considerable. I think that is a little extreme.

I know the two blocked messages are for map chat because I didn’t hit control, I used shift. Ah well. I’ll be more careful.

Nothing before that in local chat. If I said anything it was over 40 minutes ago, lost in NPC spam. I didn’t link that WP a third time in local, I changed it to map and got spammed out for it. If I thought it was my fault at all I’d have not posted it, thats why I am confused. Because nothing was repeated three times one after another and as said, clans spam their recruitment message in between actual conversation so why would it matter if I -did- link a WP 3 times in local but with a lot of time between each message?

Unless you’re just not allowed to link three times regardless of what channel, what was said in between, how long since the postings, but that makes no sense because you see clans using macros for recruiting.

So that makes absolutely no sense.

Different way points, spread out between a period of time. 2 Gallow fields waypoints probably about 5-10 minutes prior to the Triforge WP, and another 10 with the Gallowfield WP that the first SS has.

If you look at the screenshot nothing was said three times in a row.

So I was asking for help while attacking a champion. It was with one other person so I advertised twice the location’s waypoint and then asked for help. We duo’ed the champion but it took forever, like 10 minutes I think? So I port to another location, the gallows, and see someone asked if there were any events. I linked the waypoint to say by mistake and when I went to say it on map chat I got an excessive spam message?

I’m sorry, but this is just frustrating as hell. I couldn’t complete the event solo because they thought it would be a good idea to give a mob a single attack that does knock back and as melee I have to sacrifice my sword/shield and try to do it with a staff which lacks the survivability that the shield offers.

How is what I was doing spamming? When I see constant guildwars2walmart or whatever spam in Lions Arch and Divinity’s Reach. Why do I feel that all the measures in this game only hurt the people being legit? Can’t do events because I guess linking is spamming and I can’t farm anything because the game thinks I’m botting and nukes the rewards for it.

Kinda feel like its a tinfoil hat club in here.

I played with AoA back when APB launched the first time. I played against them in Warhammer Online and honestly, this has been one of the best experiences I have ever had. The people are awesome and understanding (killed a bunch of people before realizing that in APB you can kill your team mates by shooting them while driving >.>.)

So, if you want to have a great time with good people I suggest applying to the guild!

Whoever you were, that was hilarious. You were chasing a tiny Stormbluff Isle guardian Asura. You followed me for a bit then we turn and fought. That was crazy. Got you low on health then you’d pop decoy and heal up then I’d heal up and then we would fight a little more.

Ended up just leaving, but I wanted to say thanks because despite it not going anywhere, that was a lot of fun. Well, not me running into guards, but everything besides that!

There are screenshots all over the forums of like 30+ naked rangers running around with an army of bears. Naked rangers and tons of bears. Sounds like a problem, bots or not!

So Warmaster Efut is supposed to have me accompany her. Instead she just stands there. I completed the mission but this one objective never updated and because of that I cannot progress any further.

I did not read the replies. Quite frankly, and this sucks, but it is the PvP zone. Some of what you get costs tons of silver. So it becomes a game of weighing the costs. Should you keep at it? Do you find it fun? If you do, you must weigh that fun against the fun of those killing you. And I have had scenarios where I got farmed leaping off the edge and landing on the waterfall platform near dead and being farmed.

It becomes up to you to stop that. Say something in chat about it. Anyone who has NOT done the puzzle and WvWs should do so and do so in groups. It must be great fun if only distastefully so to farm people when low HP and unable to react.

I know on Stormbluff Isle we don’t mind lending a hand to those doing the puzzle. I stress taking 50% less fall damage perk and -believe- each drop you will be fighting for your life. Whether or not that is the truth of it matters not as you’re prepared.

Though being prepared won’t save you always. Consider your knockbacks and other get away skills. Know that in combat you move slower so some jumps doom you to falling into the water.

This doesn’t need to change. How your server bands together and assists those in need matters and ALL benefit when you do the WvW puzzles. Also, can’t cheat. Tried to open chest when someone opened the vault and thats a no go.

Not to bump and this will be the last. Thanks for not giving me farther infractions. I did act improperly as a guest on your forums. So thanks for not sticking me on a stake and burning you. I’ll try to behave better and really watch what I say.

@Ferohr You may be sick of it but it will forever be present. There are too many millions of people to convince to see things your way, champ.

If people came expecting WoW then they did not research the game. I did very little before I bought the game. Aside from Forum Strictness, I am amazed. The game is grindy as heck. Disguised as other things like renown hearts and achievements but even say Borderlands 2. That game is grindy. Doesn’t matter how much so but it does matter if you feel it.

The game has problems. We all accept that. Every game has problems and 2012 being an excuse to see the perfect game launch shows ignorance. Game code is game code and lord knows it breaks whenever it so feels like it.

But the grind in this game is downplayed by downleveling and feeling like every zone is a challenge. This is, to me, what an mmo should be. It is fun, it rewards me for playing as I want to. Though not obsessively running one thing or another (IE: events and chain grinding mobs).

Like I said. Aside from being too seriously strict on the forums they have done well for themselves. And I say that pleadingly to the mod that reads this. Please please please don’t ban me. I DO love your game.

As someone who loves Warhammer A B A D D ON, spaces and all, was an awesome name.

I’ve seen threads about Arenanets heavy handedness, but I submited a bunch of bug reports and not have gotten in trouble. The point of the other thread was to compliment Arena net on a job well done on the map completion. That it is rewarding and really makes you want to do them.

The point of this thread is just have some answers. The logical ones such as drug references (and I accept responsibility for that) is to just try to understand how that is frivilous and pointless on a general discussion. It was geneneral in reference and I honestly wanted discussion. If you -really- wanna view me as an idiot go ahead but it was harmless in intent.

For commenting on how addicting 100%ing maps are and how its upsetting to not be able to complete it? Got infractions for saying “frivilous” threads. Really? I -APPRECIATED- the game. And yes I know this thread will get me in further trouble but really man. Think of your actions and how absurd they are. I complimented the game in Guild Wars 2 general discussion, I wanted to see how other people felt on the subject, and bamf. In trouble. First forums I ever got in trouble on too, and for a post that said that 100%ing maps is like crack and when skill points or whatever breaks its like disappointment in a can.

I sent a personal message but the message was immediately replied to by a bot that said they don’t accept em. I said I never joined hands in hand with the “kittenguild wars 2 mods are too harsh” but they are. This crazy draconian approach applies to threads they even praise them? That is insane. So ban me, whatever, sad as heck that it happens when I said I loved the game.

Repeatedly dying yeah. What class are you? What weapon do you use? Can you better utilize your dodging? Can you sic your pet and punch off crucial skills in time? The death penalty in this game can be ignored. You pay a bit of cash but you don’t even have res sickness. I played most classes save Necro and Elementalist and would love to give you tips if you need in order to keep the repair bill low and the pwnage high.

Ok. I cant help it. Honestly I can’t. I enter a map and I’ll bekittenif I could leave it without 100% being accomplished. It is an addiction. A horrible thing gone wrong. I mean… I go in a zone, accomplish it pretty much 90% and then find bugs. Like the owl skill point where you combat that guy and owls. Bugged. And I know this happens I am not stupid and know bugs WILL occur and this happens in every single game.

But I am sad. Because my addiction is halted mid step because of that. Because a patch to fix X breaks Y. And that is the nature of MMOs and I know that this is my own problem. This isn’t a complaint thread but definitely a lamenting the bugging to prevent you 100% thread.

Essentially, enjoy the thread. Have fun joking about the weird little bugs that come up knowing they will be fixed.

I was in the charr starter zone. I picked up an unexploded mortar shell and then panned the camera up. As soon as very soft gentle music came on the charr launched two mortars at me.

So to the tune of gentle relaxing music were two arcing mortars coming down on my head. It was like some Saving Private Ryan craziness!
