This was brought up in chat during the livestream where they first previewed the skills, a developer wrote in chat that they would never add a healing skill immune to interrupt, as all instant cast skills are. Which makes absolutely no bleeding sense as we already have two; Mantra of Recovery is an instant cast like all mantras, and then there is the unholy sin against game design that is Healing Signet.
If they’re sticking to this way of thinking, then they simply need to redo the entire skill.
It needs to be made instant to even be worth considering using in small scale pvp, wvw or pve with it’s huge downsides.
Not 3/4sec or 1/2 sec, no, it needs to be instant. Like all other meditations.
No, it wouldn’t change anything for me. It’s not the lack of rewards that pushes me away from sPvP, but I simply do not like its gameplay at all. Adding rewards won’t change that.
The only people that think that you can make conditions work on guardians are people new to the game, people that do not have an in dept grasp of the game or are the developers in charge of class balance.
Thank you, for increasing our worthless 10% power to condition damage to 13%. How many more times do we need to tell you that this trait is bad?
This would give a lot of people peace of mind, Bobby, I hope you respond: is the end of Scarlet’s arch already on its way?
I mentioned this elsewhere on the forums, but I’ll say it here again. There is an end to the Scarlet story that has been planned out. I’m not at liberty to discuss release dates or the timeline, though.
Just make sure she’s vaporized and her soul tossed into the sun, so there’s no possible way she can be resurrected.
Just heared the following:
Scarlet blew up the reactor
Dear Anet, abandon Scarlet please. She’s not only poorly written and a marysue, but she’s also increasingly annoying. Do away with her and retcon her out of GW2. You are seriously writing a bad character that’s heavily compromising the integrity of your lore.
This was a really poor move from Anet.
In my humble opinion, I’d say that they need to get rid of the key requirement of the chest. Following that, make chest drop daily rewards based on how much levels you didn’t skip.
The tower can be a fun challenge, even if you’re in a small group. But it needs to have a payoff. The chests are already random enough, we don’t need an additional lotterly for keys added ontop of it.

Warriors lack group support? Since when?
The cooldowns of shield abilities are far too long for what they bring. I wouldn’t even call the shield defensive/support. The reason for this is that the huge cooldown makes the abilities so insignificant in most situations, that it’s basically useless.
Many see it as one of our icon weapons, and so do I, but generally there are far better options than using it. It’s almost as bad as the torch.

So basically, both Spvp’ers and PvE’ers have no interest at all in the 4 second fury.
After playing around with it, 4 seconds just isn’t enough to make a difference compared to the other options in the tree. I’d personally recommend it to be increased to 6 or 7 seconds.
It’s not a bug.
Just poor design. I also hate these issues, invisible walls are just lazy solutions.
No, it’s called a force field. If you stick your head out of the water, you’ll notice that there’s a structure in place that reaches the clouds. You’re basically hitting the wall of the structure.
It’s like they didn’t even bother for these armors. They look downright terrible, not Ascended.
Crafting from 400 to 500 costs so much for a single profession, that it’s currently (and for the near future) two to three times as expensive as to level another profession. If this change was done to prevent people from gaining more than 10 levels from one profession, it was far from needed.
I really like the small guardian preview, especially as someone who loves playing more offensive guardians. I have a small concern though, don’t you fear that 20 points into valor will become mandatory for any offensive guardian build?
Valor already is a pretty strong trait line, with many excellent traits. Radiance and Zeal however, are still filled with “less than desired” traits like Inner Fire. Will you also take the chance to shore up some problems in these trees?
I realize that we’ve only seen a glimpse of what’s to come though, so I want to thank you guys for what’ve you’ve already shown.
