This has been bugging me since the first Level-80 Boost from the HoT release already.
While it is logical to understand that you cannot move the Level-80 Boost item to non-shared inventory slots, it is also not possible to move it around between shared slots. I demonstrated it in the attached GIF.
This makes sorting items impossible (yeah, I’m very OCD). In the GIF here, I originally had 10 shared slots, then bought the PoF Ultimate edition, then 7 more shared slots. Now I’m stuck with the Level-80 Boost at slot 11.
I think the item is simply blocked from being moved around in general, but then the error message is too specific – it clearly states it “cannot be moved from your shared inventory until it’s consumed”, but moving it between shared slots is already – as said – not possible.
Can you extend the logic behind it so that becomes possible? My OCD senses are tingling and would be super thankful for this feature request to be implemented (if it isn’t qualifying as a “bug”, at least).

workaround: maybe you can choose another payment option? there are barely visible radio buttons at the top also letting you choose PayPal for example.
what feels really buggy though is that you can’t move that thing between shared slots themselves. it is locked in place which is kinda annoying. trying to move it to another shared slot simply blurts out the same error message as with trying to move it to a non shared slot… wish this restriction could be relaxed a bit.
you can read it in the purchase confirmation mail
Will the view distance be really increased? It still looked very… foggy to me in the announcement. Which is what I found to be a negative point actually.
I don’t think the increased map size itself would otherwise have an effect on the specs.
Of course, you always hear “X doesn’t listen” when they couldn’t listen (due to whatever reasons) once, but if they do, nobody says “Thank you” afterwards.
Except you which is why I love this thread.
EDIT: You can combine it with HoT – there’s an option at the very end of the purchase progress.

Try purchasing through the gem store – worked fine for me while the website only 403’d.

I don’t know exactly what could be going (wr)on(g) for you, but all I can tell is that the launcher window (where you log in and patch) acts very spoiled. It seems to be updating the window contents by far too often, being an alpha-blended layered window, which can “kill” some older PCs, especially those not using composited desktops (aka XP or Vista / 7 without Aero Glass enabled).
I had a friend once who couldn’t even click anything on the launcher because it fully (ab)used his CPU. Try using the -autologin parameter if logging in is what you meant you can’t get through with.
If you’ve played through the story, you’d know what of your post is definitely right and what is wrong / doubtful.
So many empty slots in my bank now, I feel poor. Please undo.
Just kidding, love the changes and the new sorting and alignment.
Fearless will possibly win the prize for the most annoying AP in this episode. I don’t even think I have a build capable to do that.
I know it’s of total low priority. But even if it comes out as “recycled content” after GW2’s prominence has long faded and GW3 being the new star, I would play it. :P
And another thread about “I don’t like how the game challenges me”… sigh. If you don’t wanna do it, get your grandma to play it for you. Otherwise, get another sword, simple.
Since the looooooooong term plan is to make LWS1 playable anyway, I think it would be a waste of time to somehow cheat your character into the cutscene.
Woa, I’m actually more hyped to play LWS1 some day rather than LWS3 final / EP2.
So it was Councilor Phlunt killing Scarlet?
I’d be surprised if it isn’t known. I also have issues with that. I have this styling kit exclusive Asura Mohawk, and the “anti gravity gemstone” thingies of it stay visible. That’s also the case with other things where my character gets “hidden”, those gemstones always stay visible.

That looks just like normal perspective to me. You may wanna lower your field of view to combat that in the Settings.
Yeah, it’s known Sylvari have issues… animation wise, I mean of course! https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs/Male-Sylvari-Animation-Twisting-Bug
Pushing out Farts
a very touching story
I also went behind the desert gate near Ebonhawke (something they just recently blocked the way to) but sadly only saw a wide sea rather than a dead Glint afar. ;p
I could connect only using the asset server 64.25.41.2, but the default authentication server, aka
“Gw2-64.exe -assetsrv 64.25.41.2”
And I thought I got banned for kicking a golem from behind (still can’t connect here).
My first impression was “cool”, my second was “confusing”. It’s clear a lot of effort has been put into creating some more “modern” navigation, but the navigation itself isn’t really useful to me.
The filter bar at the top for example (I actually needed some while to realize it’s a filter bar and not just a navigation). When selecting categories, e.g. go from “All” to “New Items” in the drop down on the “Promotions” tab, the drop down list continually changes, as the currently selected item isn’t seen in it. I’d rather expect it to work like the filter combo-boxes in the Trading Post – simply keep the already selected item in there and provide the non-filtered entry (“All” in this case) at the top. A continually changing filter list is confusing and actually made me gave up browsing through the categories as I always forgot which I most recently picked.
Then again I don’t find the “tab hover preview popup” useful at all. It provides categories, that’s fine. But the items on the right are too small to immediately grasp all its contents. I think I’ll never use it at all as I prefer to categorize and drill-down first. I mean, the front page should (and does) already show the most important items. The history tab is a good idea, but the preview there is even less useful to be honest.
Another thing I don’t like (because you only get to hear things people don’t like – kidding!) is the “pack preview”.
- You go to the “Style” tab
- You click the Dynamics Exo thingy, a preview opens on the right.
- You click the preview away, wanting the list back, deciding for something different
- But now you’re in a pack preview and don’t really see how to get back to the list immediately – until several tries later you see the navigation bar can do that. It’s just not really convenient to go into the package details just by clicking the main item entry, and not the small “Package Details” button at the top right on purpose.
So far my first impressions. I’ll get used to most of it, and it’s not a bad design, just not intuitivities best hit.
And now a general idea, also because there’s a really bad ratio of content to window size (like the others said, the items are all too big, I have to scroll a lot): Why not make the window resizable? I know this causes trouble with the other two tabs. But really:
- The Currency Exchange might just shrink back to default size since it would look ugly at too large sizes – if you switch from Inventory to Wallet, that window also changes sizes, so I don’t think that happening for the gem store window would be much uglier.
- The trading post needs a resize feature since long anyway…
Of course that depends on how well your browser control behaves with resizing, though it does seem to be a pretty decent one.

I’m quite saddened to see such suggestions come up. I hoped some people actually want to play the game with all it’s facets, and don’t care about unconditional loot and profit. What’s next, debug mode for all players so they can change the game how they like it?
Sorry for that little rant, but this isn’t the first thread going like this recently.
That’s pretty weird, i just played through LWS2 yesterday and didn’t have any issues as I quickly entered Iron Marches at the nearest waypoint, grabbed the stone (event wasn’t going on in that instance nor stalled), and ran… apparently you need some timing luck before that event is fixed if it is still broken.
To be fair, the amount of non instanced bladibla is quite low in this episode, and none of the stupid personal problems stuff.
I haven’t tried it yet, is it forbidden to ‘land’ and kill the destroyers first? Wouldn’t that make it easier?
Having insane connection issues at random times since 5th April too, from Hanover in Germany.
Typical issues appear mostly at evening (GMT+2) to midnight:
- Cannot login at all, client could not connect to login server
- Stuck at character selection, cannot enter the game
- Map load stuck at STATE_SERVER_WAIT
- Incredibly high latency and pings of 3000-5000ms.
- Heavy rubberbanding
- Forum and support pages down and do not connect (only today).
I was lucky I could just post this as the issues disappeared from one second to the other. The ping is now at 250ms, but I remember it being down to 180ms at least here before 5th April.
Dang, support was unable to help me. They said that in general they cannot remove account-bound items from any account.
Stupid me.
On another note; why isn’t this highly different choice for tokens at the top of the list instead of buried under all the skins… makes someone miss it easily… :/
I sent a ticket.
Let this thread be a reminder of scrolling through lists completely before picking an achievement :’D
I just read in the wiki under https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Super_Adventure_Weapon_Box that the reward box for completing the Course Load achievement also contained the choice for 8 Crimson Assassin Tokens. Is that correct?
Now I picked an orange skin I didn’t wanna have anyway because I didn’t see the 8 tokens at the very bottom of the list! Can I somehow undo that?
Reason is that I actually want 2 bothhanded crimson skins (longbow / greatsword) at the end of the festival, and without having picked them there, I’ll only have 30 crimson tokens at most, but I’d need 32… halp
I don’t think 2-2 is particularly harder than 2-3 for example.
The most idiotic thing about SAB in general and especially 2-2 because it makes high use of them, are trampolines / mushrooms. The problem with them is that the server makes you jump when he thinks you hit it. If you have a ping of 100-200 like me at some times (I even had 1000 due to some network issues recently), the jump is incredibly delayed, or sometimes doesn’t happen at all. The server even repositions you on the trampoline where it thinks you hit it (but you actually didn’t at all), making the far jumps near the end of 2-2 annoying as heck – you land on the ledge to get the jump easily, server puts you in the center, you miss your target.
I don’t know why that jump has to be done server-side anyway. The result is trampolines don’t work at all, erratically or too late.

Okay, it just happened again in a single player instance in 2-3 trib. I got warped around all over, from the spot in front of Moto to another random spot in the world multiple times a second, just like every 10th frame.
I could only fix it this time by switching from fullscreen to windowed (!), like, giving the game a second to “think” while I was switching the graphics modes. Then my character stopped warping, ending up in front of Moto and I could talk to him.
A weird side effect is that the music is now gone in the level and my character does vocal jump / attack / whatever sounds, and the explodable barrels no longer explode and kill me, but I couldn’t care less Music restarted near the next zone.
(edited by Ray Koopa.2354)
Yeah, I already reported it here: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs/Initial-201-area-has-wrong-music/first#post6541670
Feels similar to the bug in 102 in 2016, where the area after the dark forest played the initial 101 music again.
Yeah, this happened in 2016 aswell. You’re at 1% health, which can happen under rare circumstances. You’re lucky, enjoy your chance while it lasts :P The next hit kills you.
Just had a very similar issue.
I was “gulped” all around with continuing sounds of some frog sucking me up, my camera just shook and I was thrown all around in the continue room. Luckily that also restarted the countdown.
Then, after some time, the gulping stopped, but I was too far away from Moto in that room to talk to him.
A few seconds later I could suddenly walk (“in air”) to him and continue.
However, doing so fixed my game, but crashed right at that moment another player in my party. Was at around 12:05 GMT today (5th April), not sure if he sent a bug report from his side at least with the Mac Beta (I’m using the 64-bit Windows client).
All in 2-2 trib near the end, very fun :P Please fix that…

You can purchase the World 1 Hardcore Boom Box after completing World 1 Tribulation mode.
You can purchase the World 2 Hardcore Boom Box after completing World 2 Tribulation mode.
:D
The patch fixed the weird ice behavior. You couldn’t predict your movement speed before when starting to run from a stand. Now the acceleration is always slow and only getting faster if you keep running (it’s like that didn’t work before and made you go full normal walking speed at random times previously).
SAB* is real life. :P
I’m normally not a fan of metal instruments, but these tunes are so clear and hyping in tribulation mode, I totally LOVE it.
Especially the King Toad battle. It was kind of a lame and boring tune in 8-bit sounds first, but all the work you put in makes the battle really amazing!
Yeah, it was similar for me. I played it for the first time some days ago and literally flamed fire and smoke about “who programmed such random luckbased b******t!”. Lost around 100 lifes there, and told myself to never do it again, but now there’s hope!
Or as a ranger pet :P
Normally it’s just people creating threads and flame when they find bugs which mess them up, but now I wanted to take the time to just THANK the guy who looked into this ยง#$-working ice slipperyness physics code to fix ice, preventing it from launching you into your direction at high speed just by tapping a button a tiny bit, making 2-3 tribulation a PITA at the slippery ice and spike part.
Now I really understand what Moto means with “I took the time to squash out some bugs”! The sir who did this deserves a medal (holographic of course, in “8-bit” style).
(From the release notes for those who didn’t read them yet: “Fixed a bug that occasionally made ice too slippery.”)
yeah, take me as a voice actor! i do it for free. i also pretty much suck at it. hahaha!
well at least you were in a party so you could enjoy watching the nice show from below =p
