I have also noticed that a good few times I have actually got pulled to the enemy rather than pull them to me and normally I would think Guardian but its happened against Ele’s with no Guardian around and Mesmer’s again with no-one around them.

Just as a note, if your pull gets reflected, then you will be pulled to them. Mesmers have reflect. Besides that, I too have randomly experienced a random pull to my enemy instead of them to me without any reflects going on. Might be something I missed or another glitch in the skill.

Can confirm that in beta you could change the flame colors, here’s one I took from when I got it. Why they would disable the ability to dye the flames is beyond me. We can’t have nice things.

It’s known among Necromancers that SG is pretty useless/unreliable unless the target is point blank, even then it’ll sometimes miss or be “obstructed” when there is no visible object in the way. It’s also slow and won’t pull any moving target most of the time.

What have you bought with them? I have about 6k total but don’t have much to use them on. The gear she vendors can’t be Mystic Forged or salvaged for mats, or even sold to an NPC vendor! I could stock up on tools but that’s using up too much space.

I hope they don’t add a cool down to Static Discharge. It’s my main build and adds to the crazyness of the class. By the Wrench Gods I will murder a baby quaggan if they nerf it. Murder!

Not many unfortunately. Mainly Malefacterym which matches perfectly with Eye of Rodgort. Other than that there’s the Halloween item Severed Dagger and the Godskull Kris, though the Kris looks more like a tooth than a dagger.

I personally use Pact Dirk and Ghastly Dagger. Wish we really had more bone-ish material daggers.

No. They are seasonal minis and thus should not count towards the achievement as not everyone has an opportunity to get them if they miss out on the event.

I made it on my level 5 Elementalist. Surely you can do it too. It took a lot of deaths and perhaps I got lucky when a few higher levels resurrected me on some of my deaths, but mostly just lots of running and dodging and trying to find the least aggressive path to take to my destination.

Pact Staff once it is properly implemented. I think it’s supposed to be a reward from completing the personal story, but the vendor has been bugged since launch. It’s the one I’ll be getting for sure as I think it looks better than Deathwish.

Was searching for a suggestion like this, glad others agree as it seems like an obvious improvement to the currently lacking mini pet system.

Also, no. 100% no to this. Mini Pets must remain purely cosmetic, as they were meant to.

Edit: Also the result of using Minis in the forge is the same as other items, a gamble at better Mini pets or different ones. Put 4 of the same rarity, you have a chance at getting one at the next tier.

Considering Ele’s can stomp while in mist form, I agree.

Is Life Blast considered a channel then? If so it doesn’t apply the Dark Armor.

From some quick testing in PvP Mists, “Dark Armor” in Death Magic tree does not give the toughness boost to all channeled abilities, such as DS life blast or focus skill 4/5 even though they do have cast times. Or is this intended as cast times and channel times are considered different?

Can anyone else confirm?

Don’t have the pieces yet, but this is what I’d like to have eventually.

You can retransmute an item to any other item of any level as many times as you have transmute stones. Not sure what you’re saying about the lvl 2 Engi, is that your main or the temp? Either way, just transmute the Eagle Eyes into a White/Blue to a lesser level than your main so he/she/it can equip it. Just make sure you choose the Eagle Eyes in the transmutation selection box.

DO what Monuru did, but before deleting the new character, use a Transumation stone to transfer the look to something that doesn’t soulbind (Whites/Blues). Do NOT equip it on the temp character though, just store it in bank, delete the temp character, and you should be able to use it on your main now. It will say soulbound, but you should still be able to use it normally on your main.

More of an Alchemist Pistolier than Engineer, quite fun to play and not a whole lot I can’t handle.
