Ive done probably 1000 dungeon runs total, maybe more. Ive never got a pre cursor from a chest, so I do not recommend actively doing dungeons on the chance of receiving one.
Difficulty is not necessary for chests. Other parts of CoE are easier than that boss and give chests; other dungeons are entirely easier and give chests too. Anyway they probably will change that boss a bit, as it is definatly under the description of “find a strategy and do it for 5 minutes”.
CoE is a long dungeon. Its also one of the more difficult and lengthy. It seems pertinent to me that as compensation, you should get more opportunities for Charged and rares, and the simplest method would be to add a chest when you kill the 4-turret golem boss.
This has 3 clear benefits:
1. Charged lodestone prices will fall.
It seems arenanet is adding more and more methods to lower these costs, and this is a great way to reward those who do the dungeon for the charged items.
2. Those that cheat through to the final reward (3 paths in 1 style) get only 1 extra chest for their effort, whilst those refusing to cheat will recieve an extra 3 chests for doing all paths.
3. Incentivise individuals to try this dungeon out (its popularity is already quite poor).

Orrian boxes drop lodestones almost for free.
Charged Lodestone is down to 3g now, from 4g yesterday.
CoE takes plenty longer than CoF, and could only compete in money with some lucky drops. Now that is no lnger the case and we push closer to the ubiquitous reality of “Why dont i just do cof instead?”.

Zerker’s warriors DPS is beyond anything else Ive experienced. If your teammate is going down a lot bring a guardian to keep him up. Its not hard gameplay.
They’re awful. They’re pets agro random stuff. They dont do good DPS. They dont have good cleave.
One thing they do thats alright is that heal combo field, but even then you need other professions to carry its potential.

Are there any plans to create level 80 content into the older dungeons (for eg. a level 80 version of Ascalon paths 1-3, with better rewards).

He’s not talking about benefits, his point is, if Anet is so careful to not introduce certain things that might prove offensive to a certain type of person, then why introduce alcohol? Alcohol is generally seen as a negative beverage.
I, for one, am not offended by any of the above cases.
Right but if they added an item that gave an advantage, but it had issues with religion, that may be an explanation for it not being in game. Thats why alcohol would be allowed.
Ive done about 300 paths of dungeons since nov 15 and ive yet to get a recipe. Thats nearly 1000 opportunities and no success.

Did this boss yesterday with a moderate group. Me and my buddy stuck them on cannons, so it was just us 2 on DPS. We took on 20 rounds without dieing and it was fantastic.
The boss does punish too harshly for mistakes though.

Ascended back piece took me a week and 0g to earn. I just did it. If that is an indication of the effort to earn ascended items, im very happy.
Its possible that the more expensive Eldritch Scroll weapons will be Ascended stats after the changes.

First count of thanks is for being super quick and effective against snowflake exploiters. If they didnt learn from day 3’s karma exploiting they may learn this time!
Second count is for fixing party-preference on boon applications. Originally the game released where illusions, pets, etc. would steal boons like area might from more deserving teammates simply because of proximity. It appears this has been changed! Thanks from a guardian.
The real worlds exist by beginning in the mists (the proto-reality that we can visit).
The mists can then take snapshots of history, present or future (usually moments of significance or value) and “remember” them, and these can be visited and explored using portals.
Some of the fractals we know little about, if anything. Some fractals are more obvious (the searing event, etc).

Legendaries are far too easy and take way too little time. Yes its all money; if you win the lottery twice you can afford another one with ease.
There are loads of legendaries around at the moment and Im going to be on 2 very soon myself.
I think its strength comes from what level you were when you received it.

Waypoints cost a lot at level 80, but in most cases they are a necessary luxury to afford. Travelling to a dungeon with a party is an effortless task for a small cost, but the only alternative to the punitive requirements is to make yourself and party mates wait for you to run (a non-option).
However when travelling to Lions Arch we are faced with a more difficult choice. 3 silver for the quick option, or wade through loading screens through the mists to clear the distance for free.
I propose that we bypass this cumbersome madness; players CAN travel to lions arch for free, but the cost of loading screens is one of patience and processing power. Eliminate the digression and your playerbase will love you for it.
Additionally if travel to Divinity’s Reach and other capitals is free, people will gravitate to the city they love most, rather than everyone crowding LA at all times of non-play.
Why sign for this change? Remove needless time-sink load screens, give the players what they want and allow players the genuine option of their favoured capital city.

There are currently two problems I can identify about current dungeons:
1. Too easy. Months ago when the forums were filled with complaints of dungeons being too difficult, a developer said that he believed ultimately people would converge to the new opinion that dungeons were too easy. This time came many weeks ago.
2. People converge to the short and easy paths of dungeons, and are avoiding the harder ones, because you can complete 3 CoF path 1’s in the time you can complete CoF path 3, and as such get 3x the reward. A difficult problem to solve.
I would like to propose an additional difficulty on each dungeon path, with Agony and Resistance, mobs that are more dangerous, and better rewards.

It would appear this bug is that the far right villager can be the target of the special “push” ability from much larger range (bugged range) than the other villagers. If a grawl spawns, and targets him with their push ability, it will be in range; the grawl will then activate that ability, teleporting the grawl to the villager and kicking him off.
Sry to say but this is surely prone to bias. The kinds of people checking this thread will inevitably have a vested interest in it, and probably because they are on a significant side of the RNG; ie. people are drawn here when they are screwed over.

I currently have 2 ascended rings, Mellagan’s Whorl and Seal of the Khan-Ur. Soon I will surely get a 3rd, unless I get superiorly unlucky. At this point I will have 2 soulbound rings, and an account bound ring.
I cannot MForge it, I cannot trading post it, I cannot salvage, and I cant use it along with my other 2. So what shall I do to it? Am I really reduced to hording it or merching it?

There is very little value in comparing the 2 tiers of items; instead we should compare the effects that these items can have on an entire character. This is nowhere near the 20% you claim, and there is no way my character that has 2 of 3 available asc. is near 20% stronger than yours.
20%+ per PIECE without the infusion in the new gear and WITH upgrades to the old gear. let’s not forget that the infusion also have base stats, another lie that has been revealed.
But you cannot have all 18 pieces of ascended gear, only 3. Therefore, 20% per piece means nothing. We must compare the effect to the entire character. Infusion slots are so minor anyway. +5 healing power? +5 vitality? Even in “principle” that someone has an advantage, in real terms they do not. 50 health will never save you, it will never push a loss into a victory for you.

Its definately easier. Pre cursor price is tanking, lodestone prices will go down after this weekend, skill points are a non-issue anyway, but karma is easier than ever, and an extra source of obsi shards is ez-mode. Good luck
there are three dungeon sub bosses that will drop the loot bags.
This is not occurring. Sometimes the bag is not given, but instead recieved is a green accessory, which is at the scaled level of the character, not the genuine level.

I would like to get some discussion on what we may be seeing in the video and if we already have some history on these events. I dont really have much to add other than the creepy giant chained man looks awesome, and that there is a clear battle for Ascalon city, or some similar castle in the Ascalonian province (perhaps Rin or some such).
Also in appearance is the embark location, some dredge city, a norn encampment with corrupted ice, and some space rocks with asuran theme. Krait also appear.

I am about to complete my legendary Hammer for my guardian. It along with staff are my 2 most used weapons, so when Im finished what staff should I try and earn next? I need something a little long term, but the prospect of 400g for the Legend has put me off the Bifrost. Ive considered rare armor as well but its all so cheap compared to a legendary that I could afford tier 3 human 3 times at the moment instead of my pre cursor… Sort of diminishes the value of armors
Ive run Hodgins path about 50 times. Ive never skipped Kholer AND ive never had it bug.
Additionally I will straight up trade it for The Colossus. Feel free to discuss how a lack of a genuine trading option is a 20 year step back for MMOs
