Ok guys, I made a Guardian and I’m loving it to the point of it being borderline main.
I use a sword and shield…..hardly use my second weapon set (staff) maily just for the “you shall not pass skill” as I like to call it.
I’ve read through all the traits and can’t spot the “better” ones over the lack.
So my question is; What traits should I focus on to benefit sword and shield?
Hewo,
I’ve managed to find “Skyes Cooking Guide” which has been awesome and has a great and simple shopping list that say exactly what to get.
But that’s all?
No other guide and if I do find one it looks too risky to try, and with the lack of/or a complicated shopping list.
Anyone able to provide some good guides that have been tried and tested for the other crafts I would be very grateful
Hello Renn,
So, since you kind of attacked Aardvark about his copy-paste post, i will post our recruitment post link for you here, link to our guild-website is in my signature.
I didn’t mean to be rude and apologies to Aardvark, I’ve had a bad day.
I shall take a look at the link posted. Thank you for the reply.
Please explain how your 170+ members are a tight guild. How many of these represent over 75% of the time?

I’ve read your recruitment note already on a standard topic, would have been nice for you to reply to mine with a message instead of a copy and paste.
OK here’s the thing. I join a guild, and it’s fun, then everyone stops playing.
A little About me;
+I’m born British but I’m In New Zealand so Time Zone UTC + 12 hours
+Main Char name: GW2: Renn Trueshot. GW1: Renn Of The Feather.
+Played GW1 for 5 years and GW2 since a month after release.
+Currently In Borlis Pass but WILL CHANGE FOR GUILD
+I like to play socially, so exploring with other in the world dungeons WvW and SPvP
+I’m Male, 22, Mature but I have a good sense of humor
I need a guild that is;
+Active
+Friendly
+Has Voice Chat
+Isn’t over crowded but doesn’t have tumble weed in the Guild Chat
+Not Over controlled (Doesn’t have 12 ranks of randomness, but has a steady flow of +GOOD EXPERIENCED officers junior and senior )
+Isn’t at the bottom of WvW but Isn’t at the top
+Server must have good commanders, not like Borlis who seems to be gaining a bunch of bullet sponges, I’m a military man and hate it when there’s someone in command who can’t lead.
+I also LOVE to play through story missions and do world completion in groups, if you do anything like this, I would really like to hear from you
+A tight guild is a good guild. Sick of being in a fall apart
Anyhoo enough of me rambling, message me in game or on here. I’m happy to answer questions and chat to people

I agree, getting quite frustrated, specially with CoE being permanently closed off.
The hair and makeover are already up! Where is our Name change from gw1
:( Really want to change my mains name…
I would absolutely adore to have the Ritualist, in some form, back in the game. Absolutely my favorite class!
Ranger with spirits
But that would still leave the need to place all the Spoints back in boxes etc. I just think it would be more user friendly to say, have a saved trait build, which you can load up when out of combat
My baby Renn Trueshot
Her Pets are ; “Rekk” – Black Raven and this sister; “Ripp” – White Raven
Ok guys, I couldn’t find this post anywhere so…why not bring it up for my first post?
I have been chatting with a few friends and guildies.
My question and suggestion is “Why not have an alternate trait build?”
Similar to say, WoW I am a dedicated GW player, dislike the WoW gameplay..BUT!
I think there are onto something with this switch spec thing. Would make it easier to change spec if u want a different set up for say WvW or dungeouns to PvE.
Opinions?
