Hi all,

Please take a look at the Build I have been running for a while, I have made some small changes and would like opinions on them.

I will state where a change was made and what it was changed from.

This is a PvE focused build.

The Build; Fury Signet Ranger

The main focus of the build is gaining Fury to proc the trait “Remorseless”.
“Remorseless” means you will regain “Opening Strike” letting you Critical Hit and hit for an extra 100% through the trait “Precise Strike”.

How do I gain Fury?

Trait, “Two-Handed Training” gives us a 50% chance to gain Fury when we hit with the GreatSword.

Runes of Rage – 25% chance to gain Fury when we are struck Also increases our Fury uptime by 30% & Damage by 5% while under Fury.
(This is a change from Runes of the Ranger – let me know what you think)

Other Details

Signets are in place, plus multiple traits to gain Might.
I have figured a way that Ranger can stack themselves to 25 Might very easily, and it’s even easier for our pet to be at 25 stacks of Might.

Trait “Zephyr’s Speed” allows to constantly switch pets and gain Quickness, increasing the chance you will gain Fury from the GreatSword by increasing your attack speed.

Gear

Berserker Trinkets and Weapons.

Valkyrie Armor to provide some extra survivability.
(This is a change from Berserker Armor – Not sure how PvE in HoT will treat full Zerker – Plus I feel that Fury is going to Proc enough to not need the extra Precision.)

Disclaimer
To make the post shorter I have pretty much just discussed the Fury aspect of the build.
There are other functions of the build and different things that can proc in different ways.
Sigils are up to preference but Sigil of Force is a good idea + one optional.

Make it smaller
More freedom to move it around the screen
More style options so we aren’t stuck with the square, perhaps we can change it to oval or circle etc.

Will Anet ever add a check box in the options to turn off the mini map?

It can’t be that hard (yes I understand that some simple requests can sometimes in fact be a big issue behind the scenes, but removing a section of the UI?)

Just alter the “Remove all UI” option we have to take screenshots and then make ones that just removes the Mini Map.

I’m talking about un-ranked
It just seems I’m constantly on the losing side (When I say losing I mean we barely reach 100 points when the other team hits 500)
and I’m constantly getting rekt by other players.

I’m by no means a bad player but I know the players I am constantly losing to are high end players. For example, constantly getting stomped by a PvP Dragon Finisher.

Please alter the Druid’s staff stance to the regular caster idle stance rather than the Hammer time style

Please lock rated for players who are over a certain rank
Or
Create a game type which requires a player to be a lower rank to join.

Players like myself who want to learn to PvP but can’t because players who should be in rated or jumping into unrated because they get a kick out of killing newbs

New “Legendary Pets” that only Tamers can Tame.

How about a Merchant that gives you 1 Black Lion Key if you trade him a stack (250) of Black Lion Chests.

Advantages
() Yes I understand Black Lion Chests are on the TP, but with this addition they would quickly disappear.
() Players would value a Black Lion Chest dropping for them.
() Potentially free up some inventory/bank space.
() A sink hole for the out of control rising amount of Chests in the game.

It’s a simple fix that I feel is rewarding and creates a tangible reward from pretty much a Junk item.

We won’t “fight” the gods but they will likely pop into the story in the future.

We already know they exist and have seen them; from GW1 – and know they are good not evil, so no reason to fight them.

“And if you fail to fill these roles? You’re going to have a bad time. But don’t worry, as we’re leaving you a repair anvil at the entrance. You know—to collect your tears on.”

But seriously, I love this kind of writing, sort of gives reassurance that they will make hard content and won’t nerf in a few weeks later because everyone complains it’s “too hard”.

So I was standing at the Norn Spawn area (starting Zone) today, watching endless droves of New Players come through.

My jaw literally dropped, I wish I had done a tally because in that one map there must have been several hundred come through in just a couple of hours.

Now imagine all the separate maps and the different starting zones, GW2 must have thousands of new members and give it time potentially millions.

Anyway, is there a way of seeing amount of existing account or amount of new players joining?

So happy to see all these newbies running around
Makes me sort of jealous, I wish I could experience the mystery and excitement of the game for the first time, all over again.

p.s. Where’s My Royal Guard Outfit?!? lol

When does the Royal Guard Outfit get issued?
I don’t have mine yet :’(

The staff isn’t the one Druid will get as it is a HoM reward for GW1 players.

I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing this; note on the attached screenshot that the characters profile pictures are extremely white.

Obviously it’s not effecting game play, just a quality of life thing and it really really ticks me off, I’m a little OCD :P

I have the same card and same issue, sudden crashes with red screens and lots of lines.

A Mursaat is a race – one that is likely to be prominent in HoT.

I think I can quite confidently say that the spec will 100% NOT be a Mursaat.

I’m assuming you mean PvE HoT? as PvP Hot won’t be any different, except Stronghold.

I agree – even a simple and easy fix would be;

• block the area between the water and fight zone with vines or something
• Force all party members to be in the “room” before fight starts – stops party members staying behind so path doesn’t get blocked while 1 pulls.

The Fractal has vines blocking the way at the start,using the Wisps to open them. Fairly easy to add them to block the water

Just step back and look. I’d say 50-60% of devs/GMs are Rangers….and rangers got buffed to the point there they press#2 and win. NO devs play Ele and clearly don’t kittening understand how DEVASTATING THIS IS and how many eles are going to STOP playing ele.

Apparently 50-60% of devs play Ranger, just because of the buffs?

Honestly thought it was more 10% maybe less, they all play Engi – Mesmer – Guardian – Thief

No “Fast Healer”, Mes and Necro stole the res speed trait

Anet should add a color blind tick box in options that changes the color of the circles, a simple, easy add that would be greatly effective.

Was this mentioned in the new trait system?

I noticed that other classes gained an increased res speed trait

but to me it looked like Warriors LOST Fast Healer

and I REALLLY liked that

Will it be a Spirit focused Spec (like Ritualist)?
