Not sure if these where changed but they are working really well for me.
Rune 6 Bonus:
+20% Bleeding.png Bleed Duration; when you use an elite skill, you inflict Bleeding.png Bleeding, Torment.png Torment, and Poison.png Poison for 8 seconds to nearby foes. (Cooldown: 30s)

Along with Entangle (don’t hate)

It puts alot of condition pressure on targets with just 1 skill

I recently upgraded my whole PC set up so graphics are a lot better

However I am having an issue with bright colours like white and sand colour.
They are over whelming and make me feel sick, even the sun shining off a warrior armour is too bright.
I cant figure out how to lower this without dimming the whole screen.

The Fur on the back, with the Heavy armor clips through shields when they are worn on the back.
Please Please Please fix this my OCD is killing me!! lol
It happens when running and stationary and I have only checked the Heavy Class armor

I’m looking for a casual guild focused on dungeons details as followed;

World: Tarnished Coast (Not willing to change server, happy to join a multi-server guild)

Classes: Currently I play a Warrior and a Ranger, working on my other classes too and I can confidently say I am effective in both of my established classes

Location: I am in New Zealand but since I am studying full time I am usually on or can be on most times.

Voice Coms: Happy to use vent/RC/TS etc

Expectations: Alsothough I’m looking for a casual guild to dungeon run with, I am not looking for a guild to rep 100%, I am currently in 1 other guild, mainly friends from years of GW1, not interesting in dungeons so I am forced to look elsewhere.

On the GW2 Homepage this is what is written for Rangers as a description;

We need emphasis on reach of our weapons and base damage at ranger.
I know the devs what to keep GW1 separate but maybe they should look at how they built the Ranger there, in my opinion it was a well balanced class in GW1

Also when buying parts, how can I be sure thr motherboard will fit in the case?

Would the AMD R9 270 2GB GDDR5 graphics deliver “above low” settings?

I think you mean new or poor Rangers aren’t respected in dungeouns.
A good Ranger is a very good addition, we aren’t meant to be tanky in this game or face-roll like we could in GW1.
Rangers are a support, back line, crowd control class in GW2.
Stick a good spirit Ranger on the back row and watch your enemies burn.

No, all previous Living Story releases are achieved and can’t be revisited. The only was Anet could do this is by making a time travel portal allowing us to get the achievements of the past.
Until then it’s wasted points

Using the “customise” option they have on the right, upgrading the GPU to AMD ATI Radeon HD7850 2GB GDDR5 PCI-E 3.0

and Motherboard gives me future proof CPU etc for atleast a while.

If anyone has other options and advise I am all ears, Won’t be making this purchase for another few weeks as still planning.

My Budget is $1000-$1500.

I am in the market for a new computer and it came to mind with technological advancement; is there a certain slot or type of hardware that is becoming obsolete.

For example, I need a computer with a motherboard that can support upgraded hardware in the future, ram, video cards etc.

I think, along with other players, feel the games content is revolving too much around Zergs now.
WvW fine, PvE Champ farms etc fine.
Story? Living World, every now and again fine but it’s been too present imo

To be honest I hope after Mordremoth the next dragon is Kralk because Cantha & Elona exploration would be nice. Plus after playing GW1 and reading the books avenging Glint would be awesome

I think I read somewhere that he “stirred” in GW1, did he awaken years afterwards because there has been no sign of him yet

Since the update I’ve seen a few questions about the story ending, who we saw and what this means. I thought I’d give my view after taking into account other theories and what I saw in the cut scene.

Firstly
What We Know…

There are 6 dragons (first thought to be 5)

Zhaitan
He is dead as we know, he controlled Orr and his minions are the Risen. His Risen are still present and his risen fleet of ships is still in the Strait of Malchor, cutting communication with Cantha in the South-West. His minions are also present to the North of Elona.

Primordus
As far as we know he’s underground, we killed one of his Champions “The Great Destroyer” in GW1. His minions are the destroyers. Is he awake?
We aren’t sure.
I think yes.

Deep Sea Dragon (aka Bubbles)
Located in the un-ending ocean in the far North. This dragon drove some races south towards the mainland such as the Krait. Minions unknown. Fully awake? Unknown.

Jormag
Resides in the far Northern Shiverpeaks. His minions are the Icebrood and his followers are the Sons of Svanir. The sons directly follow Svanir, the brother of Jora.
Svanir was influenced by Jormags champion, “Drakkar” who still resides in his frozen lake (Shiverpeaks).

Kralkatorrik
Resides in the Crystal Dessert after waking the the Blood Legion homelands. He killed Glint, a champion who betrayed him. Also Snaff.
His minions are the branded, champions include The Shatterer.
He is responsible along with swarms of Risen for the absence of communication with Elona.

Mordremoth
The Jungle Dragon.
Minions Unknown.
Exact location Unknown.
This is the Dragon that 99% chance awoke

What We (I) Saw.

Firstly, Leylines in GW2 are lines of power underground, like a branch these lines must end somewhere. One ending is where Scarlet has her big drill, The Breachmaker.

On contact with the “Leypool” if you will. It starts a chain reaction.
The leyline takes us to a building where another pool is triggered, This for me I see the Crucible of Eternity, where the Inquest are researching the Elder Dragons.

The Leyline then takes us into a Jungle Area somewhere in the Maguuma Jungle, where we see a dragon awake. Suspect to be Mordremoth.

What do we THINK about Mordremoth.
We don’t know anything yet, all we have is theory and ideas.
His minions?
The Sylvari?
I’m not going to go into depth on this as their are a few threads but in summary;
The tablet of Ventari cleansed the pale tree resulting in the Sylvari being uneffected by the Elder Dragons.
Now Scarlet’s “cleansing” was undone by the experiments conducted, resulting in her to be called by the Dragon, she in my eyes was the first Champion.
The Nightmare Court in my opinion will be the minions, once they realise they where pretty much right, they will rally behind their Leader, leaving the dreamer in yet more doubt of their purpose.

This is pretty much a mind map of my thoughts, feel free to comment, I haven’t made notes of proof read so sorry if there’s a mistake or two.
I am very happy with the LS so far and hope this new reveal will also start a new Personal Story in addition to LS season 2.

Please say we don’t have to wait another year for Cantha/Elona to be opened to have more “non-living world” story content. not that I don’t like it, It’s just nice to have a solid story line like in GW1

They are not a “replacement” for Destiny’s Edge; these characters fulfill a different role in the story. Because members of Destiny’s Edge are so entwined with your Personal Story as well as the over-arching story with Zhaitan, and because the Living World plot lines are taking place at the same time all those other story threads, we couldn’t have the members of Destiny’s Edge splitting themselves between these other areas and what was going on with Living World. This is partly why we introduced these new characters.

Looking at this conversation in a refugee camp, I had an idea that Scarlet’s newer stronger poison aka the miasma might be sources from Tequatl?
He was given some attention earlier on by Anet and I feel a connection here somewhere.

My thoughts exactly. I myself prefer sticking to my style of gameplay, which avoid switching between multiple skills bars like Ele and Engi.
Not that I can’t get the grasp of it and can be effective.
Rather I am more effective with options, and it pushes me away from Engineer despite how much I want to get involved with the class.

Ok I know Engineers have the bomb kit, grenade kit, flame thrower etc. But for the players who don’t want to use those they are stuck with; pistol/pistol, pistil/shield, rifle.

Kinda of seems underdeveloped when looking at the other classes weapon choices, spell casters can even use swords!
I was thinking maybe when the devs look at Engineers, they could add the Hammer.
It fits the class well and only a few other classes (not including ele lightning hammer) that can use it.

I’d like to see a change like this, I think it would make me want to play my Engineer past level 80.

I made a Sylvari Guardian and I am finding it hard to locate the name of the armor that is previewed in the character select.
It’s the one I saw making a Male Sylvari Heavy armor (guardian)

Can anyone tell me then name?

Which lore loose end do you want Anet to talk about next? Tell us your top 3.

1) Livia – She and scepter or Orr. Mind=blown since 2007.

2) Wizard’s Tower – It is about time we find out what’s going on inside. Mind=blown since 2005.

3) Kralkatorrik – He should be the next dragon we deal with. The lore behind him (from books) has set him up to be the most interesting dragon to fight/ally with.

Pets are only useless if you want them to be – a true ranger will take to account that your playing a ranger it has a PET and it account for MOST of your DPS

Looking for some hints for using sword and dagger – I tried it out and the survivability of my build increased by far.

Useful tips – when to use the evade skills of both weapons? and Lightning Reflexes. or does it just come with learning other classes movement and skills.

With the weapon skills the utility skill and the 2 dodges = 5 dodges plus high endurance regen

In fact why not bring back the different bow types from GW1? If you didn’t play it search it but here an oveview;
Diffeent bow types that handled differently
LongBow
Short Bow
Recurve Bow
Horn Bow
Compound Bow
Flat Bow

These where ALL bows in GW1 and I have no idea why they havnt come to GW2
ALSO
In GW1 – if your a ranger firing down from a hill so the enemy is lower than you – then you do more damage because of GRAVITY

Too be honest the warrior long bow skills are more what the ranger long bow needs

Wish the Devs would pay this much attention to class balance! ;-) ~coughrangerforumcough~
