why are dragonbrand doing so badly, didn’t they get like 6 new guilds recently and infact FA’s largest NA guild aswell.

They did get a bunch of guilds.

The guilds they did gain like qT and TB were hoping to be carried by DB’s SEA, that is not happening against JQ of course, because JQ’s SEA has WAY more coverage.

They also gained what “used” to be the largest guild on FA [GODS]. Unfortunately for DB, they only got the crappy players(all of 15 or so maybe). All the best and oldest GODS members stayed on FA and formed a new guild called [BOSS].

Meanwhile FA doesn’t have the coverage of other Tier 2 servers like TC or DB, but we are down to farm ya’ll. No big deal, we’ll stay rank 6.

Remove the pugs (though it seem to us the pugs were more),We came to the tower with 22 ns & forced you back across the bridge, at the bridge you guys initially overwhelmed us with your superior numbers but qT came to our rescue from the other side of the bridge. we’ll do a even number skirmish anytime you want, kudos to you though, at-least you stayed and fight in open field unlike some other guild who had to bring a 50 man zerg.

Sounds like you were following an inexperienced commander that didn’t know what to do or have the confidence to execute something like what you are describing. Needless to say there are plenty of commanders in TC that know what they are doing. Don’t blanket all of TC based off of one inexperienced commander. Everything rises and falls on leadership (Like Bay) that commander could end up being a very successful commander in the future and helping them to be one is of the utmost importance far above anything else. TC is far from the garbage you make it out to be and we didn’t make it to rank 4 overnight.

Hazing a commander is the worst possible thing you can do and while people do it that commander receives zero positive feedback making absolutely sure that they learn little to nothing.

Your right and I apologize to the other commanders, I shouldn’t have made a blanket statement. And the commander prior to the bay attack was doing well, it’s just frustrating when you try to help them and get ignored.

Being a commander myself, it is very difficult to manage the massive amount of information being relayed to you. It is quite possible that the commander simply did not notice your message and may not have intentionally ignored you at all.

I know He heard me in vent, but I guess he was just overwhelmed with the siege. I’ll try and stress the importance of changing strat more clearly and constructively next time.

That cmmdr only popped his tag because there was nobody else available. We (RE) tried to help him as best as we could in that situation. I understand your frustrations, but, in the end, we lost Bay to repeated pushes by JQ. Though, it’s worth pointing out it took them over 3 hours to do so.

Yea he did well, and I was surprised at how long it took JQ to take Bay from us. I did manage to pull one of (RE) commanders aside and show him where I was trying to get everyone to hit the Trebs just now. I thanked him for listening and I hope the spot helps with defending bay in the future.

Yeah I was the commander at this time when he mentioned to me. I’ll keep it noted thanks for PM. I am new to commanding and my inexperience shows with the way I handled JQ’s pushes in our garrison but I enjoy it anyway. Thanks for the great fights JQ! Seeing your groups can really get intimidating to someone new to commanding! Hopefully I can learn more and be more effective in the future.

[SG] and [HzH] were hitting multiple points on the border while trebbing bay. The first 2 times HzH’s 18-20 got met by 60+ pushed to a gate lol. That being said either one of our guilds or both were between briar and bay at all times. It would have taken a full queue to rush and try to get those trebs down. I was impressed TC held bay as long as they did. Props to the commander at that time!

I have to say this has been a much classier thread than normal. Respect to FA and TC!

TC is doing great. I have been waiting for this match up forever, mostly because I know I will be hunted by your CRZY guild. But TC is a pleasure to battle against. I havent seen any hacking or cheating, its been good clean battles. The forums posts are pleasant and fun. In the field, I would love to see TC become more organized and confident in zerg fights. I see you guys trying new things, and Im hoping it all comes together and I will be a running loot bag for you! You kept us out of your homeland in EB this morning so that was great! You guys never give up and fight with great heart. I think in a few more days the TC fights will evolve and I may/may not drop a precurser for you!

I think it’s the JQ zerg that needs to up its game. I was expecting more from a T1 server.

JQ doesn’t have “the zerg.” That mentality is mostly exclusive to TC (1 giant 90 man zerg running around).

JQ runs several average zergs hitting multiple points at a time. They weren’t being condescending but you seem to be taking it a bit personally.

I remember specifically TC posters (a few, not representative of the entire server) being condescending to SoS with the “chin up, you’ll get on our level with hard work” posts a couple weeks ago. Meanwhile, SoS’ smaller zergs were wiping larger TC zergs.

Not everyone thinks the same. I happen to agree with most if not all of what you say. We on TC will fight to the end and keep coming back regardless of numbers but we have alot of room to up our game. I appreciate your input. Its been great fights out there and am loving the new match up!

We are the lower population in tier 1. We will have 2-3 20 man groups running separate on maps sometimes. HzH fields 35 on reset but during the week it is usually our 20 man core working with a guild the same size. We hit multiple points so that SoR or BG with 100 ppl has to make a choice. Some of our 20 man you may want to bring 40 to though

JQ leaders do not think SoR is imploding at all. I see it quite different. JQ can only target two maps strong in NA right now other than EB. Our strategy for what BL we hit varies. Sometimes we just go for the keep that is paper. Some of us go to the opposing BL for training. JQ is not in any position to crush SoR or BG at the moment by the end of the week. I do see intentional overstacking of a server “not named”. When they say they want a more balanced T1.

Lot of people disagreed with him because trying to break a server is lame first of all as this is just a game(why would you want to do that, it’s malicious and petty) and also it was destroying us in the other timezone because all our SEA would do is focus SoR and it would leave us exposed everywhere else because he would sacrifice everything we owned just to flip SoR’s stuff past 3 weeks. And that’s not even including the countless times he would let BG take our garrison in home BL and hillside in BG while going after SoR garrison.

You just dont think throughly. JQ has no EU so as BG having less EU while SoR clearly have much EU numbers. If JQ SEA focus on BG, SoR will run rampage in EU getting all their keep upgraded, thus when their superior NA come it’s unstoppable for both BG/JQ. Flipping BG’s keep in JQ SEA isnt helping JQ, it’s helpping SoR’s. Plus if Waha clearly aint wandering into BGBL but hitting SoRBL, it’s most unlikely for BG to hit JQ Garrison unless nothing left at all. This is why the score still remain close and competitive.

Whatever ATM/FOO are doing are just playing WvW. They are focusing on who they want to focus because end of the day, the position/ranking remains the same, on top of that the RNG involved, you cant hold any position.

Even if they did focus on BG, they will still lose towers/keeps thru EU simply because of lack of coverage. Whatever JQ SEA do now is probably just fighting. No planning involved for next day as they simply do not have the EU/NA coverage. Perhaps to JQ SEA, WvW is a daily thing as everything resets the next day.

We haven’t flipped JQ’s garrison once during SEA this week (SoR or BG), just saying. The Garri flips come from late NA / Early Oc / EU from both SoR and BG.

Yes, ATM main commander said that and I disagreed with him because trying to break a server is not a strategy if it destroys your own server while doing so.

Now that the cat is out of the bag, SoR is probably just going to get more stubborn and not care about winning and just focus down JQ for having such petty ideals and short sighted tactics.

In the end, ATM being our greatest asset during sea has pretty much screwed our entire server outside of their timezone.

JQ NA has been hitting BG all day. JQ SEA hits SoR. We’re both hit by 2 sides at two different time-zones. Didn’t you see JQ bring us down to 130-150 ppt while we were trying to fend you off? Lol

Sure I noticed, but waha and bg sea are the only ones who regularly flip our home BL keep (and really pretty much everything else we have). Its interesting to see when it happens. I’m trying to see if there’s a pattern with the targets they hit… its like a minigame for me at work…

Anyway, its a nice strategic move. You guys (BG primarily) take advantage of your strong timezones, so do we. No hate here.

Actually I have been in SoR quite a bit with the guild. We are not large enough to dominate SoR on our own but we did flip their gari in a dual guild effort.

The only way JQ is guaranteed to drop T1 is if SoR and BG focus them, but with the “rivalry” it will never happen.

This is WvW all of us get focused. 2 v 1 happens to everyone. JQ is often left having to defend only the north of our map at times and you say if we get focused? We already are lol.

On a different note I would like to mention I actually went out and got my daily in pve for the first time ever. It was an odd feeling…

Uhh. SF attacks BG basically every day, and they’re in JQ. Just because 1 guild in 1 timezone attacks you doesn’t mean the whole server is against you. Come on. That same JQ guild that everyone is crying about has focused mainly Blackgate for months.

Note that our SEA can hold their own. Note that this is a 3 server match up. Note that 2v1 has to happen in 3 way match-ups- it is a natural occurrence.

Wow lol. I see several SoR typing down about our JQ server yet I see few JQ doing the same in return. As is said all the time quit complaining about 2 vs 1 it is not the “proud” way to be. Other than our NA prime JQ is usually targeted the most because we have less coverage and servers think we are the easier points. We were used to being double teamed while in first place and used to it now. Who cares?

Fair play is fair play, for every player on SoR running zoom hack there’s a player on Bg and JQ also running it.

The difference is that we just deal with it while you complain about it, you know just like everything else in the match up.

When I command I can honestly say zoom hack is never used by JQ at my position.

Awesome fights last night on reset. SoR BL had some serious juggernaut battles!

I did have to chuckle last night with a brief battle at Bay. We got the outer door down and cleared out a wave of occupants just inside the doors. JQ showed up behind us so we jumped over the wall and down on top of them. Once we eliminated this threat we turned to get back inside and resume only to find the doors had closed after an upgrade went through. I could see on the ground through the slits in the door a sea of bags calling out to me. Scouts reported a threat across the map so we moved on but not after I glanced back one last time while a single tear ran down my cheek as they vanished out of sight …

Here at HzH we have grown to understand that we have had to up our game in open field combat to be more dominant on a map. We have trained for a few weeks now. One of the most important training exercises is making sure we are in sync so we do this to accelerate our coordination

^^ With all the guilds that BG has gotten, you should be mopping the floor with everyone quite frankly.

BG is the most stacked and overpopulated server of all NA servers. You’ve basically merged 3 other servers into yours.

It’s a testament to JQ that we are staying competitive even though you’ve gained 15+ guilds and we’ve lost 3 in the same time.

JQ was the most stacked server since the days of HoD, winning T1 by 80k before BG came. To say you have population issues is laughable.

It’s laughable that you are trying to deny that BG is currently the most populated server in all of NA and yet you guys are still trying to recruit even more guilds to your server.

No idea why you think BG is the most populated server. WvW population wise, SoR has the most population in NA time, BG probably has most population in Oceanic/SEA time, and SoR right now has most population in EU. Server population wise, both TC, JQ, BG were full with TC and JQ being full a bit longer..BG may have received more guild transfers more recently but JQ got a huge amount of guilds when free transfer ended…

We have had 4 guilds total transfer since launch. 2 of them still play. Just to set things straight on that.

Ummm. I’m not intending to be argumentative, but JQ has received a lot more than 4 guild transfers since launch. I remember the laundry list of guilds from just before free transfers ended that Rawnoodles had in his recruitment thread, although not every little detail. Sadly Rawnoodles had at some point later edited out that list and deleted the post (you can still find it with a forum search). Since free transfers, yeah, that’s a doughnut as far as I know. But to an extent I understand why. JQ is the winningest server so far in GW2 WvW (by a mile), and guilds have a tendency to avoid transferring to the #1 server for fear of being labeled a bandwagoner. Also, there’s the “root for the underdog” factor that probably plays a part.

The only guilds that moved to JQ that could field near 30 or more were FOO,SF,and PRX. That was long ago.
