I want to thank you Mag/SoS for the great reset night last night. We had a lot of fun – collected a lot of bags and gave away plenty (hopefully a precursor for someone lucky at SoS/Mag!).
Some of the videos I recorded below (note: first time streaming on reset night and I got 6+ hours of footage – if anyone knows a more “automatic” way of finding great highlights let me know..)

But agreed was a lot of fun and good fights all around.
Aha. Yeah I was at Mag BL late because of queue..and I didn’t see NS at all (kind of strange that the “night” shift was missing at night!). Woks definitely did good work there (as you can tell from the video!).
I appreciate it! It was like 4 a.m. for me and I was jacked up on caffeine and cussing like a sailor as I noticed lol. That mixed group late last night we had did great and was a lot of fun.
LOL! VR had much larger numbers than our guild had on the map. Condition removal is the answer guardians are best at that. Please Keep in mind it took VR and INC just to take on NS or HzH alone with any success. VR had more of their guild out than either of ours.
I’m pretty sure between VR/INC and NS/HzH the numbers were even.

Yeah VR and INC did a great job last night. The super caster heavy ranged DPS caught us off balance for a while. We did not get enough of our guardians in queue to counter it for quite a while.
We have the easy schedule because we still played to win before leagues. That is other server’s faults that they did not.

I’m glad to see how little faith SoR and BG have in their own servers =) so what you’re basically saying, is that because JQ is stronger than both of you, that your ONLY chance to win this season is to 2v1 JQ every chance you get? I’ll take that as a compliment, though a server having to openly try to force a 2v1 on the forums kinda shows you how weak they are don’t you think? Do you honestly believe that BG or SoR deserve to call themselves the “top” server if they continuously rely on each other to try to keep JQ in third? Even after an entire week of this failed logic JQ is still right on your heels. Kinda shows you who the true number 1 server is doesn’kitten
JQ has the EZ mode league schedule, no one can deny this and in fact long term JQ players would agree as well. If you don’t see that by now, you must be a new transfer to T1 in which case, welcome to Tier 1 bro!

The first several days of the beginning of the match BG and SoR EU focused JQ and not one another. Not much of a secret. Also why this match is turning out the way that it is.
The match started with BG and SoR doing the 2v1 against JQ because of Icoa commander making the post about the schedule.
As of yesterday, as I went to every map I saw that we JQ were not attacking BG and only focussing SoR. I asked every commander and they all said the same thing, we aren’t attacking BG, we are attacking SoR only.
Amazingly, somehow BG seemed to be doing the same thing. Guess they were playing both sides and it was time to put that knife in the back of SoR.
Sorry SoR, personally I want everyone to just fight but T1 has become too much about fixing the matches and gaming the system and as of now SoR is the prime target.
With the introduction of the league, this match, and possibly the final match, will be driven a lot my match/score politics. Direction of server focus will change throughout the match depending on the expected outcome and what could be done to change that if anything. This shouldn’t surprise you. JQ obviously decided that it was in their best interest to focus SoR, and it seems that’s what they started doing. BG needs to win this match to have any hope of winning Season 1, so it makes sense to try and keep SoR’s score down as well. However, it’s also preferable if JQ takes 3rd, and with a match this close, anything can happen and the focus could shift again.
Bottom line, go with the flow and don’t get all bent about it.
If JQ takes 2nd, I think they will be sitting in a really good spot to win the league. I just don’t think BG beats SoR 1v1 in the next 5 (?) matchups.

The only thing you may fear about SoR is when the whole map blob is hiding behind ac in the open field and coming to the forum and tell everyone is afraid of them.
And something to think about. The winner of this week will be called most stacked server NA. Deal with it!
But the other servers are more stacked.
People who dont think SoR has the least players are those who dont play during late na/oceanic. There’s a good 8 hour period where we’re outmanned in 3+ maps. There’s a single 50 man group that literally just bounces between all 4 maps wiping zergs as they try to take our keeps.
Im sure the experiences of the NA and EU primetime people are different, what with the queue’s and everything. But late NA/Early oceanic is an absolute dead-zone for SoR. Meanwhile JQ and BG have 30-40 man zergs on every map. (Or at the very least 2-3 maps, usually EB, their borderlands, and our borderlands.)
Late NA/Oceanic is the only time zone SoR is not overstacked…

As i am probably the ele you are referring to here i think i can explain why we ‘run away’ from you instead of fight you.
oPP is a guild build to roam and 1v1 , 2v1 people. PvP players pur sang and you’re good, if not great, at what you do.
[HzH] is a map leading guild, almost 95% of the players you’ll encounter with an [HzH] tag are built to support the guild in open field fights, support and siege warfare. We have roamers, but they are few and far between. The ones we have though, tend to kitten people up in 1v1, i hope you’ll encounter them once, i think it’s going to be a good match.
As for why i tend to ‘run away’, instead of fight an oPP player 1v1. Well, first, i’m a friggin ele…last thing i need to do is 1v1-ing mesmers and thieves :p
Secondly, my entire gear, weaponset, traitset, build…is made to support a guild group in group fights. I know my build, i don’t deal a lot of dmg, but i heal the kitten out of people and make sure my commander is alive and at full health even during the largest fights. Do you honestly want me, a staff ele (even switching to daggers won’t do much for me) with 0 points in fire, and fully geared to heal instead of doing dmg, fight you who are fully decked out to 1v1 people. I don’t see the use in that, to me is it’s as usefull as a can of alcoholfree beer in a bachelorsparty. I honnestly think it makes more sense for me to try to kite you and go help my own guild. And this goes for almost all of our members.
So yeah, you’ll probably see us trying to dodge your guild in order to get to our own, not because we suck, but because we’re simply not sporting the build to 1v1 at that time.
That being said. Few HzH will be able to win from an oPP player in a 1v1. On the other hand, oPP is less likely to capture/defend a keep being defended/assaulted by HzH.
Both guilds have their strengths and weaknesses, no use in chest thumping on forums on how you can use your strong point vs another guilds weak point.

I know, I was just giving that other HzH guy crap for randomly insulting somebody else. My build isn’t exactly meant for 1v1s either. It’s extremly strong in small group play however. So if a condition/phantasm mesmer fights me (scepter 2 all day), I’m probably going to lose. But if that mesmer finds us in a 3v3 he will probably lose. I still fight those 1v1s though, because I’m a roamer, sometimes even 1v2s if I’m confident vs the classes.

Nothing have gotten said so far. I am only explaining how things work. It is impressive the amount of QQ from both JQ and SoR around this entire topic.
Due to the favourable draw that was handed to JQ, I propose that we keep them in 3rd place whenever possible, to try and make the league closer and more interesting
Once the weekdays start, their stacked SEA will kick in
SoR is either lacking the common sense to do so or is blinded by hatred.
We don’t because our past experiences with 2v1ing JQ always results in BG golem rushing our T3 keep while we’re inside JQ’s keep. Happened twice today in BG BL, that’s why we 2v1’d BG garri with JQ(wasn’t a golem rush, but equally annoying).
If you are on a BG borderland you helping to attack us so why should we not take our things back?? The simple fact is that if SoR want’s to win then JQ needs to hit last place at least 1 time and 2 times if possible.
We have no choice, but to respond to you attacking our borderland with force. Same as you would do to us.
I can see where you are coming from. That may have been a bad example, however I still would rather 2v1 with JQ, simply because our past experiences 2v1ing with BG has always ended badly.
But then you will take second place. BG is the kingmaker more then any thing because of our weaker numbers and your recruitment.
IF we start felling slighted we can push JQ to win or SoR.
It is up to you to pick if you want to win or not. By attacking us we will only look to making JQ win more easy for them. After all you need us.

I take it all back when I said WvW needs to be rewarding. PVE’rs will do anything, even things they dislike, for stupid achievement points. I hate people playing the game just for rewards and have nothing to contribute to the server. Guilds can’t raid because of this pugfest.
What are these ‘raids’ you speak of and why do feel that you and your guild should be entitled to do them and no one else?
Because we have been working for the server, while the pugs are there for achievement points. They will be a no show when they have got what they want.
On another note, you would think that #2,3 would double team #1, but instead you double team on #3. Does BG threaten you that much? Oh well, was a crazy night as a result, so keep it coming.

On current match up, JQ have the best free ride setup for them so IF* BG and SOR wants to win this season, they need to make sure JQ gets the 3rd place when it becomes

TA retired unbeaten after winning 30 games in a row against fully q’ed servers. Back when burn out, tanking and and training weeks hadn’t entered the GW vocab. TA also didn’t recruit from AA – let alone pay their guilds to transfer – in order to win.
And you realise that your "point"about exotics – let alone ascended – simply reinforces that WvW back then was a much more level playing field? Fully Qed maps on the servers and minimal gear disparity.
Finally, as part of reacquainting you with logic, my posts usually do little more than point out facts from scores and quote JQ posters’ words back at your trolls. Feel free to call facts “ranting” or “tears”, that doesn’t lessen their validity or improve the strength of arguments based on nothing more than self-serving assertions.
BTW, on karma train night JQ still has enough numbers to tick 400+?
How easy DO you want your wins?
30 games when matches were 1-3 days. No one cares about your posts lol. All you are doing it “not” helping your server by doing it. As several organized guilds had then at the beginning of the game rare or exotic vs the huge majority that did not? That is anything but balanced. Everyone having exotic is much more balanced than someone having rares vs someone with starter armor. Logic is hard!
If you’re interested in history, you might want to consider it a little more widely:
JQ: 19 Gold, 17 Silver, 19 Bronze. Total medals = 55
BG: 14 Gold, 11 Silver, 14 Bronze. Total 39
SoR: 8 Gold, 20 silver, 9 Bronze. total = 37.
And for this week’s match where it’s JQ vs BG vs lower tiered server, it’s just midweek and JQ is 48K ahead.
JQ can’t claim historical victimhood with any credibility.
You proved our point you guys have almost as much gold medals we just have a metric ton of silver/bronze medals almost the same amount as golds.
Without this weeks’ match JQ has 36% more gold medals than BG. Only in Nuked-world is this almost the same amount.
With this week’s match it goes up to 43%.

Mediocrity for months from JQ in terms of tier 1 where we had 1 gold in the many months since may and BG had 10+ in that same timezone. You can’t seriously say that JQ was stacked during those time periods. When JQ had no OCX no EU coverage whatsoever. We would hit 90 ppt during those periods. All you see now from JQ is the fact we can actually give our SEA something upgraded on more than just EB every night.

Funny, somebody mentioned fighting GoF last night. And ZN was mentioned at the same time as oPP and RIOT. KnT plays every day as well as icoa. Instead of making vague claims, why not say which guilds you haven’t seen?
I’m a roamer who almost always ends up on the same map as PLX and EE. I have no idea who you are talking about.
Maybe you should check with your server leaders It is no secret BG is not putting in full effort in BG or JQ. How do you not know?

Most of the video is reset night footage, and most of it is against outnumbered enemies.
oh you…. so based on your comment i am assuming you only watched the first chunk of the video? since that was the only part that was reset footage (reset = reping AOI and following the onion fella), rest was sat, sun, and mon footage.
that being said i am proud of the fights i got out of TC, having just recently transferred from TC to BG (to join the rest of our alliance we joined during our SOS days) I know how hard it is to muster up a force amongst the fair-weather wvwers. so please for the sake of the toast stand proud, stop crying, and act like the TC we all know and love!

as far as us beating up on TC all night, ZN does not play for PPT we play for fights, we spend our nights hunting for fights and going where we think we will find a good fight. so if your in a larger group and your taking objectives and were seeing in map chat “20+ TC at X” guess what your going to get targeted, sorry but that is just a fact of wvw life.

I’m just saying regarding group sizes, you would have gotten better fights out of JQ than us. AKA not 60 v 30-40. I dont consider ROFLstomping smaller groups to be “good fights”.

If we are buying so many guilds why is it we still have almost non existant EU Guild Coverage? BG has what 3-4 guilds who are EU exclusively and a few that run during this time zone? JQ has 1 small EU guild and a bunch of pugs. Huge difference yet you guys don’t show up during this timezone at all.
Yeah it is not like there is a massive dead zone where after we have to fix all the damage done so that JQ can get there kitten kicked during NA.
IF it wasen’t for paper keeps on ourside and tier 3 on yours we could do something, but that is now how it is. If we had any SEA we would tear a hole in you, but right now we have a lot of work to do.
We log in and every thing is broken and we need to rebuild it. We show up, but so those yours and while you only have SG that is of any threat it dose not change the fact that it is hard to take tier 3 keeps full of randoms with 15 RK.
Welcome to the last 5 months of being JQ, SEA and NA. Between 10pm server time and 4am server time we’d lose everything. Between 10 am server time and 2-4 pm server time we’d lose everything. We’re powered through it as best we could. Accepted what we couldn’t control and had fun fighting when we were on.
And you are even bigger then we ever was. We could not even get close to this high a tick and we are going into LOW activity part of BG.
IF you can barley get a fight out of us how do you think the S1 will go when you fight even less then us.
This reminds me of the last time we had open server transfers and JQ took number 1 spot with no fight for months on end. Only you are even bigger then that now.

I could keep going during the time period BG was the king of the hill. Every server has a timezone they are strong in. Recruitment is the only way to solve this but we didn’t overstack a timezone.
There is, and always has been, an evolution of strength.

Some JQ posters have a short, and selective, memory.
Additionally, when other servers were winning, JQ actively sought to recruit from those servers. The BG guild leadership – particularly MERC – that was reportedly paid tens and tens of thousand of gold to move – has publicly said they did so to improve competition and balance.
This sort of recruitment had the double effect of improving JQ’s coverage markedly, while reducing BG’s in the same tz. It did more than that, in that it’s tarnished the reputation of what been a respected guild and its leadership.
Improved competition and balance between servers hasn’t happened.
It hasn’t happened to the extent that JQ’s own players are complaining that the Burj Khalifa-esque stack they’ve achieved is producing “boring” WvW while simultaneously closing their eyes and chanting to themselves that “we didn’t overstack a timezone”.
Was it not a close match last week? Don’t blame JQ for BG server not putting in an effort as a whole this week.
Sad to see JQ running the non stop blob train; i used to respect them the most of the t1 servers- that respect is dwindling every day.
Blobbing is the fact of life in tier 1, the other servers does it just as much.
If you want some good open fights, go look for [Agg], [DA], [HzH], [EMP], [NS] to name a few. We will definitely entertain you with an open field fight.
I didn’t claim any other t1 servers didn’t blob. and as for the tags you listed i see a lot of them in the omniblob.

JQ has all 4 maps on queue during Asian time zones….crazy I know, haha.
BG commanders during that time slot should instruct their players to stack and defend your home lands solely so the JQ players on the other 3 maps gets bored out of their minds.
All 4 maps are not queued during asian times, usually EB has a queue and maybe one other map if people are stacking to try to break a waypoint. People just communicate which map is being hit and drag people from map to map.
All 4 maps can be queued during SEA timezone and frequently is. I know because I have an alternate account on JQ and after being told this was the case I logged in on that account and found there actually was 4 maps queued. This was during the week, mind you, not on the weekend with people pulling OT from other timezones. Ive literally never seen BG with 4 maps queued during SEA when I have been there and I play SEA timezone ~90% of nights. On rare occasions SOR has had queues, but only a couple of times in the few weeks I spent there.
Once leagues start I suspect JQ will have queues during sea almost every night. SOR may be able to pull it off depending on just how much of an influx in numbers we see (from leagues). And BG probably wouldn’t pull it off without massive restructuring and timezone changes to get NA players to play during this timezone OR getting more sea guilds onboard.
Yep and JQ SEA gets more active once the weekend ends for North Americans.
Stead of spreading yourselves out this week and giving free bags to JQ, BG commanders should just stack everyone on their homeland map only during this timeslot and siege the crap out of it. Make JQ on the other 3 maps get bored silly for the full week.
Its still an issue because this would mean we can’t hold keeps on other maps, including waypointed ones. Not really much we can do. Meh. Coverage wars I will just get my stomps on.

Troll JQ SEA for the rest of the week and have everyone on stack your home BL to the gills during this time so the other 3 maps can stand around picking herbs for 5 hours.

SoR has more coverage than both BG and JQ.
Not during SEA they dont, they maybe able to queue 2 and have forces on a 3rd but only JQ has all 4 maps queued during the week
