Health potion "upgrade" is a downgrade...

25 is way too much. 15 is too much too. I mean, you already paid 300 baubles just to have the thing. It should be 5-10. I never would have gotten this “upgrade” if I knew that the cost of potions would rise so significantly. It doesn’t make sense. Before it was 1 heart = 5 baubles, now 2 hearts = 25 baubles. 2x the hearts for 5x the price.
One argument is that now I can hold 20 heart restores (for 250 baubles) where as before I could have only held 10 hearts worth of restores (for 50 baubles)… I don’t subscribe that this is a valid argument for such a large price increase.
At this point, I choose death over using my potion. Death restores 5 hearts for 20 baubles….. At 4 baubles per heart, it’s a cheap method. To me, there is basically no inconvenience from running back from the checkpoint. AND I can hold 99 lives.
With 250 baubles I could get 10 medium pots (or 20 hearts worth), 50 small pots (50 hearts worth), 12.5 lives (62.5 hearts worth), or 5 continue coins (which is 6 lives per token = 30 lives total = 150 hearts worth).
I mean, if the cost is worth it to you, go for it. But it would be nice for us who don’t feel the cost is worth it to have the option of switching back to the small health pot.
I still like the new server match up system.
I do wish that there was a solution to server stacking/transfers, but that problem is separate from this one.
I’m in a mid tier server. If my server ends up in silver league, yes. If my server ends up in gold league…….
Overall though, yes, I would like to experience this new type of gameplay the devs have been working on. If it turns out to make the game balance whack, then we’ll have a period of ratings readjustment where some servers will go up and some will go down, or, if it’s really that bad, then the devs will step in and change the buff.
25% stronger than legendaries? No, they should be 5x as strong as a legendary. A super legendary hero should be able to solo all 5-man group content (dungeons, fractals, etc) because he’s just that legendary.
I would also think all enemy types except other legendaries would flee from our super legendary hero.

most- warrior
least- mesmer and engi
Unfortunately those statistics don’t supply us with much information. I have a warrior, ranger, mesmer, ele and thief. My Thief is level 2 has has been for many months now. My (ranger play time)/(total play time) is >90% because the ranger is my main class and I’ve stuck with it. My boyfriend has a guardian (level 53 but he hasn’t played it since October or November) and a mesmer (whom he does not play) where as he spends all of his time on his necromancer.
I would be more interested in statistics saying which classes have the most hours played on them as opposed to which classes have the highest existence.
Let’s say you use two sets of 1 handed weapons. That’s 4 weapons, which is 8 weeks of work for one build on one character.
I mean, it is a serious time investment. If you want alternate builds, you’ll have to just forget about it. I have, and I play one character, so it’s all very managable to me. But I swap weapons a lot on this one character, so getting my LB, SB, sword, axe, GS, and warhorn back is going to take a lot of time (and I’m just going to forget about the torch and dagger).
I don’t have the time for multi characters, nor the bank space and time for multi builds.
The recently posted blog says:
Explorer’s recipes will be replaced with the Assassin’s stat combo (Precision, Power, Critical Damage)
Traveler’s drops will be replaced with the Dire Stat Combo (Condition Damage, Toughness, Vitality)
Pillagers recipes will be replaced with the Hunter’s stat combo (Precision, Power)
While Assassin’s and Dire make sense, I’m wondering if Hunter’s is a typo as it only has two stats. I’m wondering if it’s supposed to be (Precision, Power, Toughness) like some ascended pieces are, or if it’s really a two stat ascended piece.
Pet’s USED to be up to 40% of our damage. Since that statement was made, we had ascended trinkets come out, pets’ damage nerfed by 25-50%, and ascended weapons coming out next week. We will have improved 11% of our 60% damage while pets have been hurt 50% of their 40% damage.
If the ratio was 40:60 prior to the nerf, then after the nerf it’s 25:75 (meaning pets only do 25% of our damage now. Keep in mind we did lose a flat 20%, but percent math is weird like this). With the 11% boost from exotic to ascended, the ratio becomes 23:77. We lost 10-20% of our damage due to the pet nerf, and on top of this, from exotic→ascended we will be missing out on another 2.75%, totaling a DPS loss of up to 22.75% between now and a few months ago.
-Easier for long term Rangers to change stats. (This applies to every profession as well). I want to see all future Ascended Gear have stats that can be changed out of combat exactly how they hinted Legendary weapons would work. The gear is hard to obtain via time gates/materials and an appropriate reward would obviously be to simply have it be the last armor set your character needs. Then we aren’t carrying around 30 sets of armor, worrying about skill changes or updates, etc. We can be free to experiment and change as we want.
Please please please, please please, please. I play a ranger, and only a ranger, have over a thousand hours logged in, and I’ve used exactly 1 set of armor. (Berserker gear, 6 Runes of the Ranger, berserker backpiece (Fractal Compactor—500 ecto investment, I’m NOT changing this) and prec/toughness/power (prec as main stat) trinkets.) I would LOVE LOVE to try out different builds, and I rearrange my traits every now and then, but getting a full set of armor and ascended trinkets is a ton of work, and costly to store all 12 pieces for one new set.
I hope either legendary armor is relatively easy to obtain (still working towards that legendary since December :/ and I’m unemployed soon to be employed), or ascended gear gets changed to allow for easy stat swapping. I want to try other builds gosh darn it!
I speculate that they won’t be changing gear or runes that have magic find. That stat will remain.
Instead, I believe they’ll have a limit on how much magic find a person can have. If you start getting near that cap, you’ll basically just outgrow your MF gear.
From what i understand, the portal gun acts more like a portal (the game) gun does, only on the ground. The Exp Tele gun shoots you 900, giving you very limited distance and control over where a port starts and ends.
What makes the gun actually better than mesmer portals, seems to be you can shoot a portal somewhere away from you and an end portal somewhere else. I’ve yet to see it used however.
What would be really nice is a couple quick use slots… They keep adding these cons, be nice if we have a quick use slot somewhere on the bar.
It seems that that is not the case: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JER0RnXTzh8
Can… can I add Search and Rescue to the list? Ever since the “I will not res the defeated” nerf, I’ve never used it. With the new 2000 leash range, even if the search and rescue nerf was undone, I still wouldn’t find myself using it :/ (one of my favorite places for the skill was for the dredge fractal boss at the end; pick up an alley without messing up the rotation of the boss).
Me and my team were having trouble with the rotating laser room in the new dungeon, and people kept going down. One round I switched to a bear, and put S&R on my bar. Called for it when a companion went down. My sluggish bear went over to him…….. and the bear just couldn’t res at the same rate as a person. Not even close. It was absolutely useless and just wasted a slot on my bar.
Sigh!
I like this discussion. It’s much more constructive than most.
I play the under represented power ranger (not full zerker, but lots of power/precision), and I would absolutely love it if there was some split between pets where we have our typical pets, and then our utility pets. Utility pets could give us back our DPS in full, but they would also allow me to give support to myself and my team which is something I REALLY want to do! I feel like there’s so little I can offer right now in terms of team support, but this would be absolutely wonderful. I hope Anet is reading this thread.
I’ve checked at least 20 or so nodes just now, across various maps and even guested onto other servers, and aetherblades just aren’t spawning. I’ve tried activating nodes and killing/running away from the spawned beasts, but still no aetherblades
I’ve had to turn to boring spawn camping. Boooooo!
I completely understand.
While on this note, I wish they would allow for a mechanic where you could trade your soulbound ascended items in for equally valued soulbound ascended items…… :/
Battosai – If you could ask them to consider letting us have access to some (reliable) blast finisher(s), I would be so pleased. I, as a ranger, want to be more of a team player, and have less of the “lone ranger” blues.
Blast finisher on Maul would make me actually feel like a team player…… This would make so happy that I would cry.
>cricket chirps<
I am assuming this test was done with all pets on “auto attack,” without using any F2 abilities? I realize some may slow the DPS down, but there are some that in my opinion may be worth factoring in.
Correct, no F2’s were involved. I thought about it, and maybe in the future I’ll do it, but there are just so many different combinations that I couldn’t test everything that I wanted to test.
Thanks again and keep up the good work sir!
*Ma’am, and you’re welcome!
Quick question, why did the bird’s time go up with speed training (test case 4)? Seems odd.
I’ll be sure to get more data on this to make sure that it wasn’t a fluke, because it is pretty strange and unexpected. From what I saw, the birds without agility training would wind up for their shot, and by the time they landed it, the golem had moved out and back into place. With the agility training though, the bird started its wind up much closer to the golem, and the golem just waddled out of the way. So the long animation of the bird was beneficial to the enemy trying to avoid it (assuming the enemy isn’t running off in one direction and is instead teetering back and forth).
Nice thread! Thanks for gathering all that info. Minor request: can you update the pdf to show which test the corresponding number is?
That would make the document more readable without alt-tabbing to look at this thread.
Sure! Next revision I’ll make this addition.
Some observations:
- Putting points in BM significantly improves all pet’s kill time. (Except for cats. wut?)
- Felines are still the best DPS pet.
- Moa, Pig, Spider and Drake have relatively close DPS on stationary targets.
- Why does the bear with agility training increase his kill time? o_O
I’m definitely going to do more pets regarding the BM points and the cat’s kill time. That just doesn’t seem right. As for the bear, he might have had a poor run… I’m not sure. He seemed to hit the target every time he wanted to. I might look into that more, but it’s a lower priority.
It is. They’re the only pets with built-in cripple. The knockdown also helps immensely as it gives them free hits and almost always guarantees the cripple will hit.
You could argue that pigs have a 3 second arc-AoE knockdown, but it’s charge up is slow, and it’s really easy to just sidestep it as it isn’t homing.
Yep, the dogs would knock down the golem, cripple them, and get a bunch of hits in before the golem recovered. The pigs… would hardly get their KD in unless I positioned them just right when I started the test (possibly scewing the results on the pig).
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0BxMRbtXpW9UNaHJWb0hKN1c0WHM/
Each test except two were only ran once because it takes so much time! Some tests I definitely plan to re-run (seriously? Cat takes the same time to kill the golem with 0 in BM as it does with 30 in BM? I call bull!) As I expected, Speed Training can actually lower the pet’s DPS on a moving target because some of their skills just suck at hitting.
Spiders are just rocking it, and canines seem actually better than the hard hitting but stationary kitty cats. Moas and bear suck, but what they never were supposed to be hard hitters. Drakes have become pretty “meh” as their tail swipe misses far too often (notice the HUGE difference between #1 and #2 on the drake!!)
On a stationary target, pets are pretty equal. On a moving target… they’re leagues apart.
I want to run more tests, and get better results by collecting more data and doing more trial runs, but since there are SO many pets and SO many combinations, I might not be able to re-run every one (and I’ll be basically gone all next week). Any fan favorites that stick out that would prefer the TLC? I’m guessing nobody really cares about the DPS on moas or bears, for example.
Psst, theive’s SB has been nerfed to the same distance, and I disagree that we have poor condition removal.
Aside from those two points though, I agree whole heartedly. I stuck an axe and warhorn on my ranger… she is much stronger without sacrificing…. well, anything. 1 hit of the axe does more damage than the SB, but it can also hit up to 3x making it 3x more powerful, but then there’s also the warhorn’s 5 which boosts you damage for 20 seconds, making you significantly more powerful with only a slight change in attack speed. And you don’t need to trait for piercing arrows, and instead can have the new +150 precision to self and allies…
But it’s not as FUN as the SB. :/ I’m using it, because it’d be just dumb not to, but…. I want my 1200 SB back.
Is the theif range 900 with the Power Shots trait or without?
I don’t know, but based on the way you asked that question, you do. I was agreeing with you; I’m not sure why you have to be a jerk to me :/

Wow, as a person who main’s a ranger, I’m actually a bit shocked by these results. Specifically, by what a landslide ranger got voted for. I thought they’d come close to the “worst” for dungeons, but that they’d have a rival or two.
My votes:
Open world PvE: “I don’t know”
I think the ranger is awesome at open world PvE. I leveled and did map complete before the defense buff on pets and the attack nerf, but I imagine that a beefy agro-drawing pet would have made it even easier. Compared to the ele, mesmer, and even warrior, I thought the ranger with their loving companion wasn’t bad. I almost voted for thief or mesmer, but mesmer gets much better as you get their level up, and I haven’t tried leveling a thief, so they might be much easier than I think. I’m surprised Ranger got as many votes as it did.
Dungeons:
Ranger… To be fair, I don’t know how useful/useless an engi is to have, because it’s SO RARE that I have one in the party. Ranger has a dead limping pet half the time, even with proper recall and pet swapping. I run spiders because a pet in the enemy’s face is a dead pet. Pre-patch I ran drakes, because in many dungeons and lower-level fractals (below 20) I had little issue keeping them alive. Pet management is a significant learning curve, and in some situations it’s just impossible (haven’t done the recent dungeon yet, but couldn’t keep the pet alive in the final boss in Molten Facility, and the Southshore instance where my pet triggered bombs made me a huge liability to myself and my team.)
Large-scale WvW: Ranger! Easily. Dead pet. Dead pet always. Aside from an awesome water field, or dead spirits, no support. Stability only accessible through an ultimate utility in which warrior’s have a shorter cooldown of and an inactive effect. There’s just so little we can do. A thief at least brings blast finishers, can stealth in and take out enemy siege in open field combat, stealth stomp to rally allies, and, unless it’s been fixed yet, lay down a supply trap in the middle of an enemy zerg.
Small scale and PvP: Warrior, if the small-scale is 3 people or less. Warrior in PvP. Ranger can handle these. It is not suffering in spvp, which is probably why their issues won’t be addressed for a long time, if ever :/
Again though, I’m very surprised at the clear trend. It’s obvious that the member base doesn’t view the classes equally, and it hurts that the ranger is perceived as the worst (or near worst) in almost every category.
Be sure to post this on reddit, OP!
http://www.reddit.com/r/Guildwars2/
Lots of people check there as opposed to here (myself included).
I was running with my friend the other day, and some pugs. They decided to kick him. Little did they know, he was the instance starter
sweet, sweet vengeance when they found themselves booted from the dungeon. That’s what they get for being a jerk.
We need to talk to devs about WvW/PvE as well, please ask them if we can arrange that (you know… majority of player base)
This please
I love the spirit changes, especially your GM trait, though with their current health and the need to trait just for them to move with they are still terribad.
Get rid of the wacky spirits. They should just be like auras, radiating from the ranger, without any trait investment. I shouldn’t have to deal with by “Buff” getting killed by cleave. Additionally, active effects radiate out from the ranger. Next thing you know, everyone wants rangers in their group for protection/+dmg procs.
I like this.
I also like the suggestion of spirits not being damaged unless targeted specifically.
I too would like the sb’s range reinitiated. I see no reason to use it over the axe/warhorn at the moment……
I feel for you guys
I have been working towards the Dreamer myself, but with no precursor to lock me in, I’m free to switch goals.
I absolutely hate the range reduction and the constant “out of range” that pops up for me. I have switched out my SB for an axe/warhorn which, with access to birds of doom, 20s of fury and swiftness, chill, and an auto attack that hits 3 of my enemies instead of 1 untraited (allowing my 20/30/20/0/0 build to pick the spotter trait over the piercing arrows trait) has really upped my damage (even upped my single-target damage!) without touching my survivability.
It’s just too bad that the fractal backpiece that I worked so hard to create disappears every single time the axe is thrown. Awesome. :/
Well this match up has got to be a little awkward for [Lost]…..
………. this has become a semantics argument.
Can we all please stop trying to shove real world logic into a video game? We can argue about definitions all day long, but it won’t fix the broken aspects of the ranger.
Just one: since the technology is there to split skills between game modes, why don’t the sPvP crowd get to enjoy its nerfs for itself?
I’m dead serious too. We are just not playing the same game. The whole 1v1 node bunker meta has no point in regards to random pve, dungeons or wvw. Balancing the skills for it has been and still is a predictable clusterkitten from update to update. It may even bad for the community feeling. Or am i alone in wanting to punch a sPvPer in the face after every ‘balance fix’?
You are not alone, my fellow ranger. You are not alone.
Funny thing is, spvpers find a way around it and seem to be in the exact same state they were in before the patch, with the same amount (or lack thereof) variety, where as those of use playing the other games GW2 offers (pve, dungeons, wvw) have thrown up our hands or flipped a desk or two.
Additionally, when people argue that it’s a "SHORT"bow. It isn’t “short” distance, it’s “short” length. A short bow and longbow are meant to have the same firing distance, but the longbow has more kinetic energy transfer, therefore it can fire sturdier arrows that can pierce thicker armor. Short bows fire lighter arrows, are easier to man, and faster to use. There is no distance differentiation.
Really, people should look into word derivations before trying to make such silly cases.
ranger (n.)
late 14c., “gamekeeper,” agent noun from range (v.). Attested from 1660s in sense of “man (often mounted) who polices an area.”
I recommend an ele. I wish I had invested 800 hours into an elementalist instead of a ranger. Eles have great group support, access to all sorts of combo starters, and their limitations are few and far between. In my opinion, ele’s have 4x as many 1200 ranged “weapons” as rangers (that don’t become less powerful just because the enemy got closer), and ele’s have 2x as many “weapons” as every other class in the game. They are versatile—able to switch from offense, to defense, to support in the click of a button. They are Team Players (I’ve yet to find a wvw group or dungeon group [or pvp group, but to be fair I know nothing about the pvp scene] actively seeking Rangers to fill in holes).
That aside, stay away from the medium armor classes and you pretty much can’t pick wrong. Unless you’re very dedicated, stay especially away from the Ranger and Engi.

Oh no? You can’t autoattack with Shortbow anymore, from freaking miles away, while applying 14+ stacks of Bleed? God forbid you actually have to use skills to play.
Ranger Shortbow was by far the most forgiving, braindead, easy-mode way to play in all of GW2. Thank god they changed the range.
Rangers do not stack that much bleed. “Bleed your target if you hit them from behind or from the side.” this is why!!!! Even every NPC in the game pivot’s to face a Ranger as the pet goes behind. Thus, short bow auto attack cannot bleed anything unless it runs away from you. Short bow #4 is a pathetically low powered bleed.
Short bow range being 900 is complete and utter crap
Oh really? Reality begs to differ;

:/ I thought your video was going to prove DeWolfe’s statement wrong. It did not do that at all. You missed his/her point entirely. Please reread their post beyond just the first sentence.
Fantastic. Now can I have them without having played GW1?
I don’t even want to use them, I just don’t like the their blacked out images in my pet panel.
That’s great to hear
I’ll chalk this up as crazy Mist essence then.
New grandmaster trait gives 10 sec of swiftness and regen on shout. It’s in the Nature Magic trait line which gives +30% boon duration.
My question is, in practice, 10 sec + 30% = 13 sec duration for these boons. But I checked it out in the Mists, and it definitely timed out at 10 seconds…. Is it working like this for everyone else? :/
Yes, please PLEASE stop trying to balance all classes around their performance in sPvP. It’s just such a different game from wvw and pve. I get that they want GW2 to be a real esport, but, like, the rest of the game still… exists.
…
Also, a question: what was going on when you were on the hill north of SM later in the evening for what felt like 5 minutes? We switched to a commander I didn’t recognize, he was all ‘push’ and I was thinking ‘but there are so many up there.. well, okay’ and you guys just sorta took it until you all fell off the back or died. It didn’t feel right.
:| You know, I don’t know. I’m not sure either what we were doing up there, and I was in TS the whole time. I remember that I did a suicide run into your zerg for a couple of bags of loot that I wanted to pick up (and almost survived it!!), and when I looked back, half our people died from direct damage on the hill, and the other half died from fall damage akittens base.
Regardless, pretty funny stuff.
I disagree with the tone of my comrade above. Specifically the part where he’s claiming SBI’s EB crew is ‘awful’. On the contrary, I think instead that we’re simply very good, well organized thanks to TS, and lead tonight by one of our very best commanders (in my humble opinion).
SBI – I do have to admit though, whether intentional or not, in EB you DO appear as a karma-train zerg. Multiple times throughout the week I’ve witnessed you come in giant numbers, knock on a door to find out if anyone is home, and as soon as a couple of us poke out head out to say ‘hi’, you’re fleeing. It makes it appear that you want to flip towers/camps/keeps with no intention of fighting for them, and only defending them if they’re in your corner or in SM. Whether this is a true observation or I was just unlucky in what I viewed, that’s up to you to decide. You’ve got a lot of “bronze” players, and unfortunately they’re pretty easy to take out, which only supports this observation…
I also agree with Aeros about the whole, number-thing. You guys have the numbers! They’re just all amassed together in one blob running around capping Eternal. I think you’re aware of that though.
Anyways, I’ve had a fun week fighting you guys… Or well, a fun night fighting you guys at least. If you’re curious on how we do things here, we’re always open to accept new transfers
but if transferring is not your thing… you might be allowed to listen into our TS if we’re not fighting you. You’d have to ask a commander to confirm if we’d allow that though.
So…. why pick SB over axe now?
With that range… why would we use the SB over, say, the axe?
I love the new system. I love seeing new faces on the field. I’ve been having nothing but fun as a result of it.
That being said, the volatility will go away supposedly as we get closer to our “true” score.
I hope beyond hope that we do not go back to what we had prior to this.
BP member here, having a really fun time thus far with our BFFs AR and this newfangled SBI group!
My experiences thus far…
Reset night: BP was locked and loaded, and I joined Eternal, thinking my favorite commander would be leading. Though was on the map, he had no intention of leading our larger zerg. We went around the map, collecting different places, and fighting back AR here and there. SBI seemed to be nowhere in sight. Swords went up, and one of our gates broke down. We dropped what we were doing (trying to take AR’s keep) to go protect our property… But when we arrived, all we came back to see was a busted down door. This happened a couple times, as your zerg was reported to our commanders, and we went to check it out.
And finally, we met your zerg in the field. A sea of deadly red fire ants. I haven’t seen such numbers! Our main group had to have been outnumbered by you, 3:1 at least! You wiped us clear off the map. More than once, too. “So,” I thought, “anyone with those kinds of numbers… they’re guaranteed to win.” But a mindless zerg, you were not. You were an infestation of people who turned on a DIME, pushing or pulling as they were commanded. It was quite the spectacle to be seen!
Last night I fought you again. I joined the fight in BP BL, as your fire ants amassed the southern island. Our commanders were great, and our people were responsive. But you guys… kudos. Again, you numbers are SO strong, and they only complement your strategy. We took note of what you were doing. SBI is very siege-oriented, and I hope our commanders on BP learn from that. You walked your siege towards our tower, and as soon as we got one piece of siege up, you tore it down. At one point you ripped down our wall, and came into our tower, up the stairs and moved away from the champion to build another AC. We were told to take that AC out, and as I ran toward it, I must have been hit by Fear 6-7 times! And it was an incredibly short run from where I was standing!!
You won, took our tower, and it was great. I had so much fun, and though we lost, our commanders did too, and made a point to reflect on what SBI did successfully so that we could learn from it.
Not long after, though less dramatic, some of us went to your BL, where we had a long back and forth near south hills. Again, you guys used siege to the best of your ability. The back and forth was really fun. We didn’t accomplish much (as in, we didn’t take anything or lose anything), but I personally learned and grew from the encounter. And, you know, the loot bags weren’t bad either
And AR! I haven’t fought you too much this week, but don’t think I’ve forgotten about you! Holy kitten you guys woke up! This is the old AR that I know and love. I’m glad that the endless BP/Ebay/AR fight (and transfers) didn’t keep you guys down in the dumps for too long. Great to see that old Rock-hard spirit back on the field.
A special shout out to the commanders on BP in TS though—you guys are, most of all, what makes WvW fun. Your positive attitudes, cheeriness, and superb commanding makes the game worthwhile.
tl;dr: Fun matchup is fun!

Will I find coffers by killing other players?
I would love to get a official answer about what they think of these terrible match ups. Of they are going to do something about it or even if they are aware this is a issue.
Please let us know.
Um. They have given an official answer. Here on the forums, and in the news blog.
https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/big-changes-coming-to-wvw-matchups/
“World vs. World is a lot about tactics, and when you fight the same worlds with the same tactics you never really get to learn anything new and adapt your strategy. This is your chance for your world to rally together, recruit more people, and try to overthrow a server above you. Like most of you, we love a good underdog story and now you’ll be able to write your own in WvW. At the end of the day, this is going to create new fresh matchups, let you see the tactics from different teams, bring some variety to the Eternal Battlegrounds, and help us to establish a more accurate new World vs. World order.”
With that said, I LOVE what they’re doing, and I hope the complainers don’t make them abandon this experiment so soon. I DO NOT want to go back to the way it was before. It was just awful!!
OP sounds so pleasant
I agree. While it won’t benefit me, others would enjoy it.
Of course, if they don’t, that doesn’t mean there won’t ever be the wings of the color you’d love!
2.
needs more words.
Pretty funny. I was looking forward to fighting someone other than Ebay, but oh well. At least I can say now, “there’s always next week”.
