I want all the weapons that was in the first GW with expansions brought to GW2 expansions , and I also want a blowgun .

How about selling player cities that are instanced in the gem shop where npc’s are actually interactable . NPC’s would call you mayor , governor / governess , or any titles that you would like and they would curtsy or bow to you when you walk on by .

Well I consider my second character (Engineer) my ‘Main’ as he is the one I like playing most and do group stuff with.

However because my Warrior is my most advanced in terms of zone coverage, I still play him most. Once he has 100% map completion I probably won’t play him much (aside from the occasional LS update).

As far as engagement, I would say I am not attached to any one character like I was in some other MMORPG’s but I would say that is more due to shared acheivements then any really lack of engagement on the games part. Since I can basically progress on any character (save map) I more or less play the character that I am into at that time.

The game as a whole engages me and I enjoy playing it, I just don’t latch on to any one character.

I actually like this game , it’s why I’m still here , but for me there’s just not much character attachment .

I don’t have a main, I’m on my 3rd alt and will be starting my 4th within the month or so. I don’t get attached to video game characters because they’re characters in video games.

For an MMO to be successful , they should give you a reason to keep logging in . I too have made many alts but have deleted them in the past . Also , people who are attached to their characters are more likely to spend money in the cash shop ( Gem store . ) Take a look at WoW , people that play that game will never leave it for a new and shiny game because the players are attached to their characters .

Character Attachments , how many of you guys are attached to your character ( your main . ) I’m not really forming that much of a bond with my character compared to GW1 which I played for a long time . ( five years lol )

Mine would be

1. Holy trinity for world vs world only instead of everybody doing their own thing . ( Tanks front then dps then healers . )

2. New maps to fight for and new setting such as Cantha and Elona .

3. Beasts of burden , build your siege weapon in a safe spot and have the beasts of burden haul it to a place of choosing .

I want my heroes back , even if it’s just one . Other things would be

- Guild Halls

- Luxons and Kurzick faction maybe even own guild towns .

-Veteran rewards ( your characters birthday. )

- Gwen ( I’m not too fond of Logan )

- The old hall of monuments along with heroes armor and my Canthan Phoenix

- Warthogs from Elona , most of the pigs in this game looks more like Russian Boars .

- Old pet system , raise your pet as dire or hearty . Dire pets have more dps with smaller hitpoints , while Hearty pets has more hit points with higher threat but with lower dps .

- Old classes : Paragon , Monk , Ritualist , Dervish …..etc ..

Don’t really know if I would buy an expansion at this point , maybe if they add guild/ player housing along with heroes then yeah I might just buy it .

Not me even though I bought items from the Gem store , mining picks , pets , costumes , and other things . If I actually knew what I was getting in the consortium box then maybe I’ll just buy it .

I can also now confirm that this bug killed me in the Pirate Puzzle in LA, I fell down the water fall, and the moment I stepped on “dry” land I fell again onto the land, dying instantly. Please fix!

Yeah I’m getting this bug also on the same jump , except I landed on the water but I still died .

I want the statues of my comrades back Koss , Cynn , Mhenlo , and Dunkoro along with the other heroes that helped me take down abbadon .

Silly thing about minis is that when you deposit collectibles they are gone too, which is why i never use them anyway.

If you put your mini in an invincible bag then it wont go to the collectibles when you deposit your crafting materials . =)

The lion cub in the gem store , why sell it for 6 days only ? It would be nice if you guys leave it there for at least a month , but 6 days is too short . Please extend so I have a chance of getting it .

I know you guys can’t really give to much away but will we ever see types of recreation other then crafting? Alot of zones have water so maybe fishing? Buy different types of Rods and Lures. Maybe have a Trophies System and Fishing games or maybe have a guild flower bed that can grow different type of plants. Alot of zones already have the water and forests for this type of stuff.

Just some ideas im throwing around. What do you guys think?

Yeah I’d like to do all those things too even if it’s just a minigame . Maybe Anet could sell different types of canoes or ships in the gem store .

My top ten :

1. Fix the camera problems on large races such as Norns and Charrs when doing a jumping puzzle .

2. Items in the Gem store should be there permanently and account bound , the mining pick for example should be there forever instead of being there for a limited time along with the communal boost fire ( maybe give communal boost fire an hour long cooldown . )

3. Ranger pets should not run ahead of you and aggroing mobs , also if I put a pet away , it should stay there until called . Also needed are more ranger pets .

4. Let me transmute my armor with either Heavy , medium ,or light . Wearing the same pirate trenchcoat costume can get tiring .

5. Sell mounts , the broom was a good start .

6. Nothing really good to buy at the Gem store , sell some guild houses , player housing , and maybe some heroes and make them account bound .

7. AOE nerf , get rid of it , people should learn to avoid red circles .

8. Dailies , bring back the old dailies where people achieved dailies for just playing the game .

9. Fluff , there’s not enough of it , try adding some more like fishing , boating , or hang gliding , really the scenery is beautiful but all I do is kill creatures all day .

10 . Asuras , they’re too big , make them smaller like their progeny .

Around $ 200.00 bucks or more , everything from bank tabs to bags and costumes . I don’t plan on spending anymore money until they get better items in the gem shop .

In GW1 it was a Canthan Mesmer , in GW2 it was originally a charr engi that I made my main , but due to camera problems when doing jumping puzzles I then decided to switch to a norn which wasn’t any better . Now my main is a human mesmer again .

Yup , I’m enjoying this game , I have been here since launch and I plan on staying longer or until I grow bored or tired of it .

Is it really that impossible to solve? I didn’t have time to play again until now and now that I finally have this precious time I can’t play due to this error, I play in Sorrow’s Furnace world (better said, I played), I’ve already tried the dns things, the port forwarding, I even risked a little uninstalling my anti-virus software and nothing changes, I still get disconnected after 4 minutes (if lucky), sometimes I get disconnected right away. Please at least tell us something relevant, I’m tired of trying with no success, and I guess it’s already pretty obvious that most people’s PCs are in good shape so it can’t be our computers or connection routers. I didn’t use to have this problem before and nothing has changed since I took a break away from the game. Please an honest answer and no more blaming our hardware/software.

When I played during launch , I have never received this error . It wasn’t until one of their updates that made things go from bad to worse , now I can’t hardly play .

I do believe you , but I’m talking about putting a tabard over the armor or any armor . I was using Logans armor as a reference .

The armor Logan wears is the human racial tier 3 heavy armor, and experience boosters are already in the gem shop.

Regarding Logans armor , he wears a cloth over his armor like a tabard which is something I want , also thanks for the heads up on the xp boosters .

Things to sell

- Capes / hooded capes / cloaks and tabards ( similiar to Logan Thakary ) , these are things that were present in GW1 and should be present in this game .

- A child Gwen the size of a human child mini pet , she will follow you around and when you’re idle she would play a flute or pick flowers .

- Crowns , turbans , tiaras , maybe tribal headgear along with some fur coat like the Norn shamans wear .

- Tattoos and warpaint as armor

- Experiance booster , great for those with alts .

If they ever do this I will name my mouse Boo .

1.) what made you choose and stay on the server you’re on?(guilds and friends aren’t a valid reason since transfers were free for four months)
2.) what will it take for the wvw players to get you into wvw?
3.) wvw benefits your dungeon runs, do you not agree that helping us get the buffs you benefit from is the right thing to do?
4.)is it the repair bill that scares you out?(i know pve players with upwards of 200g, so the fact that they’re scared of a 10s repair bill is confusing)
5.) why would a risen priestess of milandru be impressed with your Sunrise?
6.) to my GOM bros specifically, some of the PvE guilds on our server are upwards of 300+(and active), can you grasp how much of a difference just 1/10 of your guild members would make if they were active in wvw daily?
k, gripe over.

1)For my server Anvil Rock , commanders ( which I will not name ) have gotten into a serious powertrip and will call his/her followers stupid or dumb which in turn demoralizes the zerg .

2) You get screamed at by commanders for doing Grubs event , mining nodes and herbs , and chopping trees which helps pay for your repair bills .

3) Sore losers who gets angry when you kill them while they’re fighting a mob .

4) Don’t worry , I still plan on playing WvWvW even with all these negatives .

Hello , I have 321,381 / 500, 000 for survivor and the points doesn’t seem to be going up . I have typed /deaths to see if my character has died and it keeps saying I have died 0 times . please fix this , I really am working hard on this achievement and I don’t want to waste time grinding experiance and get nothing for it .

They need some permanent speed buffs like the Thief , Ranger , and Necromancer .

I miss the Paragon , I want my spear and shield …. THIS IS TYRIAAAAA !!!!!!

I love my Engineer but I’ll have to agree on the lacking part , what engineers need is at least a speed buff to both chase your opponent or run away from them in PvP , they are a bit slow .

In the first GW , I actually did feel like a hero . After soloing Shiro the Norn , the dragon from Prophecies , downing Abbadon , and making Khormir a goddess I felt great . Somehow in GW2 , I feel like a nobody , no guildhalls to rule over , no way to own cities , and especially no heroes to have around which makes this game a bit lonely .

Add me to the list , I never got this error when I played during launch , It is on Anet’s side of things .

Since I also use the gem shop I would like

- My own city / guild hall where my heroes or NPC’s hangout and greet me like Lord Faren or Dinky .

-Better looking light armor , the one in the gem shop right now is horrid .

- More variety in armor and back pieces .

- Fluff items like a canoe with a fishing pole to fish the lakes of Tyria

- More dancing emotes , I actually miss the female Ele dance in the first GW they should sell it here along with the disco ball .

I wish to play as Centaurs and see things from their point of view , I also wish to play as a Skritt and an Ettin ( like Grugg ) .

Their duration is too short , they should stay with you until death or until you release them .

I miss Koss and my Canthan Phoenix that I tamed on my mesmer .

Yes , I would have paid a sub , in fact they should have a server for those who wishes to pay a subscription and take out the diminishing returns , free amount of gems , and discounts in the Auction House . Those playing for free will still get to play .

Hope I did this right

Hello guys , since the patch I had been having problems with seeing through walls and floors from time to time . This makes jumping puzzles and vistas impossible . I have updated my drivers and even rolled back , I also tried tinkering with my graphic cards settings and it still hasn’t solved the problem . Providing pics as an example .

Aside from technical issues , I’m actually having fun .

I am not having any lines but terrain seems to be disappearing for me and I could see through walls and floors . Here is an example of what I mean .

My Charr fending off a stray Hyena in Lion’s Arch .

My Charr Engineer fighting off some stray Hyena , gonna have to talk with the Ranger that let his Hyena astray .

I’m only complaining due to some technical difficulties , but other than that I’m perfectly happy with the game .

My disconnects are very random so you’re not alone . Last night I was able to play for a few hours then I suddenly got diconnected .

I think this game would benefit with a player test server , that way my disconnecting issues could be finally be taken cared off and I wouldn’t be posting in the forum .

I was wondering if this is a memory leak causing the error7 disconnect .

I never had this problem and had been playing since the game launched , but lately the error 7 has become more frequent and all the DC is making me not want to play .

Hey -

I have been getting frequent disconnects from GW2 – and it started after server reset yesterday. I was in wvw around 7:45PM ET, and since then I get disconnect out (mostly to the character screen but occasionally to the desktop).

I am a wvw commander – so it has really made it impossible for me to lead my guild. My internet connection is fine because I maintain my connection to Teamspeak when these disconnects happen. Would appreciate any help, it happens in random intervals of 3 minutes to half an hour and happens in WvW and PVE zones.
