I don’t think we need more condi damage. I’d like to see Backpack Regen having regen increased.
It would be awesome if the stupid AI had been removed and we could just send gyros wherever we want, like Ventari’s Tablet. That would make them MUCH more reliable. Controls: summon a gyro on target location, instead of self-destruct we have “Move” option, which we can charge upon holding the key, after 2 seconds of charging gyro explodes.
That moment, when you stand next to a ledge, and Sneak Gyro thinks:
“Yea, I always have to end up on your left, and to do so I just need to go all the way around, leaving you out of my range. I’m a good gyro. I’m smart.”

Why not jut go full celestial if you want to mix?
I wish there was some toggle option – I’d use simple nameplates in zerg fights, but as I’m mainly a roamer, I need normal names to see my enemy better and if somebody is hiding behind that pillar.
Rifle is bad, but it’s possible. Use Tools line Reactive Lenses or the gadget itself (not recommended) to counter blinds, Lock-On to counter stealth – it works pretty good with rifle autoattack since it’s semi-homing. Then pray you are lucky enough to time Overcharged Shot correctly so it interrupts Thief’s key combo, like (Black powder+Heartseeker). Spike them, throw Elixir X and finish him off with your kitten OP autoattack.
Tested. It’s not effected.
How about this: implement a special item, Siege-o-matic 9001. When right-clicked, an option “Consume all siege” would appear, that would take all existing siege from our inventory to Siege-o-matic 9001’s inventory. When used, Siege-o-matic 9001 would replace our skill-bar with siege weapons. You could cycle between normal, superior and guild siege just like in musical instruments. Each siege-icon would have a little number in a corner indicating how many of this siege you have, 250 max. Hovering mouse over the Siege-o-matic 9001 would show a description with an amount of each siege weapon.
You reduce inventory space taken by siege from ~14-16 to just one.
This sounds like a very not so good idea. Nobody wants to have their skill bar replaced. Plus, that would add a couple steps to the process and still would not make the siege readily available like a separate bar that stays resident on the screen ready to be clicked on at any time.
I admit, more complicated process. But skill bar is being replaced now, too.
Is Function Gyro affected by revive speed bonus from Superior Rune of Mercy ?
We should get so much more from legendaries – projectiles from Elixir Gun, Mortar aa, Elixir Bomb could be silver-oozy with Jaggernout.
So far ANet’s coding looks like a big mess for me. A recent example – they implement a tonic that supposes to make you immune to chill. After the patch, the tonic doesn’t work and prevents you from capping points in PvP and WvW.
I was just wondering, is Static Shield Throw affected by new legendary shield, or by updated projectile from Flameseeker Prophecies? Revanents now throw a book with that change.
Our only option for power range is rifle, which is a terribad weapon, due to old mechanics (self knock-back? please.), low auto-attack damage and projectile hate being everywhere. You could try going oldschool static discharge, but again, projectile hate. There is a lot of threads about rifle, but ANet doesn’t really care.

Legendary effects on kits would clearly muddle the purity of purpose.
Well, doh, kits are supposed to deal damage, not to look good. They already removed kits backpacks, aren’t you still happy?
I’d love to see balance, but I didn’t expect it so soon after the last one. Beside that, balance patches are usually independent from those with content. I hope there’ll be a balance before next PvP league starts.
I doubt they’ll give us a balance so soon after previous one…

Please please please, no more transforming elite specs suggestions. Can we please start seeing something actually unique? Not just more copies of Celestial Avatar, or Death Shroud?
I’m asking for making Toss Elixir not a projectile.
After HoT was introduced and reflections/projectile nullification rocketed up to the sky, Toss Elixir skills are getting less and less reliable in a battle, since they are a projectile. If I fight a druid and my tossed elixir happen to pass through his wall that turns projectiles into healing, not only I’m suddenly left without stealth, or stability, but the skill goes to full recharge and my enemy gets healed.
Can we get it fixed already?
Commander’s tag shouldn’t be available for everyone just for playing WvW for 2-3 hours. I’d say it should cost more BoHs and maybe even proofs of heroics. Gold is very easy to come by these days, especially with 2 gold each day for everyone.
We need a bypass ability imo, if we can leave vulnerable someone by just analyzing it, we should have something for ignore certain boons

Flamethrower’s burns come only with skill 4 (the line of fire) – on static enemies, and tool belt skill. Otherwise, it’s terrible for zerg play – each damage tick from auto triggers retaliation damage. So it’s 5 tick * 300 dmg * amount of max enemies you can hit (I think it’s 3?).
Tl;dr flamethrower is a deathwish because of retaliation.
Engi has little place in zergs anyway. Retal and projectile hate everywhere around make mortar and granades useless, we are pretty egoistic in case of boonshare, AoE-healing is quite good but can’t compare to Ele’s. Only thing we are really good at is destroying siege that are sometimes too far away for meteor shower. Some guilds are recruiting scrappers, I believe for backline-damage and steath gyro, but it’s basically roaming.

Come on, you know you love it.
Very complex, multi-lvl map with tons of tiny objectives like sentries, shrines. Very few way points, couple jumping puzzles with something worth defending at the end. We could write stories with such map.
I woudn’t expect anet to introduce a new time weapon soon, or at all sadly. If they were to introduce it though, they would incoorperate a current weapon to fit its style; like how staff was originally magic based, but with Dare Devil it becomes used as a melee weapon. For a fist weapon, I would say they could use Focus/Focus as the weapon set for the Elite Specialization. My food for thought.
ANet sure likes surprising mechanics – meele staff, ranged hammer, (useless rifle), I’d say we should be expecting everything from meele main-hand warhorn to focus used as throwable, physical projectile – boomerang style.

Not much to add from me.
Med kit has terrible healing abilities. Throw skills have tiny pick-up area and terrible effect, travel slowly, and are single-target. With auto-attack, you can’t heal yourself and heals allies with tiny, unnoticeable amount. Healing turret is much, much better healing skill, and will be, even if you make a build around the medkit.
Elixir gun is far better at healing than Med Kit, so if you want a support build, focus on it, add Mortar (for water field+condi cleanse+blast, potentially double) and Alchemy trait line.
Black-white colours made it hard to see anything. Also, ‘moving screen’ effect is disorienting as hell.
I always think it’s a stun break. And then it’s not. And then I’m dead. It should , at least, get a stun break.
As for runes, it would be really interesting if Turrets would trigger 6th Trapper Runes bonus. They are kind of similar, after all, only traps are actually useful.
Topic: I’d love to see some visual representations of passive traits, like Streamlined Kits. Auto-Regulating Defense etc…

“Lock On” trait is amazing vs. thieves. Especially with FF because of frequent hits, or rifle, because of semi-homing shots. The problem is if they just dodge around you constantly.
So far the goal of ANet seems to be reducing build diversity…
To be honest I’m kinda hoping on mace (MH or OH) as a condi weapon so I can build Eureka to match HOPE.
We are good with condi. Pistol offhand is already a close range/meele condi. We need one hand power weapon. And reworked shield.

Guys, you are missing the point. The purpose of Rocket Boots is to let us escape easily. So for the purity of purpose Rocket Boots can’t deal too much damage. Or something like this.

You know what’s even more of a joke, the fact that this is what 3 month’s of balancing gives us. These could have easily been done in 1 month’s time, at least that would have given them an excuse.
A lot of those changes look like they were made few hours before actual patch.
Preferably on 5 – Jump Shot, which is used to get in and out of combat, so is particularly vulnerable to damage and cc during travel.
Jump Shot would be just perfect for a small evade. It would be work around a mid-air immobilize bug that locks you in mid air and you can’t use any skill, since the game thinks you are falling (except elixir B, it’s only skill usable in mid-air for some reason).

Thats true too. I mean if they said rocket boots damage lowered by 25%. It would make the same amount of sense as increasing it. Its suck a pointless thing to change.
They must have needed something to buff to not affect anything.
With no damage, rocket boots would be perfect skill to run away after tossing elixir S. And you are right, they probably did it to buff anything and hope to stop us complaining. Same for shield.

Yep. I don’t know what their plan is, but it’s frustrating as hell.
The plan is to make engi skills so messed-up and with no purpose that people stop playing it, and then just ninja-delete the profession. After few more ‘balance’ patches like this one, nobody will notice.
in all the nerfs what DPS and Support was actually improved?
+25% dmg on Rocket Boots, escape skill. I already feel OP. Not to mention raw damage boost on condi skills.
Kits. They already started, with Gear Shield.
Why would you expect a bunch of buffs to engineer its one of the strongest classes in the game especially in spvp.
Engineer has only 1 maybe 2 builds viable for all game modes (condi pp and power hammer). Two out of four skill types (five if you count gyros) are completely useless, we are stuck with two build since HoT came out.

Need.
More.
Diversity.
This whole ‘balance’ patch looks like made up for the last minute before actual patch, like they noticed a week ago there wasn’t decent balance patch for a long time.

To sum up:
*rifle untouched
*med kit untouched
*turrets untouched
*buffed already strong condi builds
*shield slightly, slightly improved. Nobody still use it anyway
*nerf of gear shield. Only viable block for non-hammer builds.
For me, it’s time to look for another game.

They’re nice for necros to generate life force or druids astral force. It’s also nice aesthetically to think we’re fighting over land people live on. Why would we be fighting over a desolate place?
There are people that would prefer for a WvW map a big, perfectly flat land without textures, just a waypoint for each server. Don’t mind them.
Just give us Big Daddy suit.
