I have experienced some lag. However the lag is not due to Guild Wars 2, I believe. I believe it was due to either looped Players or bots. I was just in Pinion Hills trail. I had about a 5-10 lag. I noticed a player “Sterns” (Warrior lvl 11) show up. Then disappear. I noticed the same “lag” happen while on my return. This time with a player “Bayonau” (Guardian lvl 11). Each time just before they appeared I would lag for about 10 seconds.
I did send a report in game for botting. Is there another way to get word to GM / Admins faster to kick the players to stop the lagging / glitching? I am not sure this is the proper place. I did not find a “Report” section of the forum.
Thank you for responding. I check my in-game mail regularly as items show up in the inbox. I have not received an email that was not game related or spam to this date.
I dig the underwater environment. I have leveled all my character skills including underwater skills. It can be disorienting, but then so is it in real life. As far as getting swarmed yeah it is much easier to get swarmed and harder to get away underwater than out of water. Again it is in real life also.
So I think it does a good job of closely simulating underwater realism while still keeping it a fun game.
In Viathan’s Arm I am still able to out maneuver underwater Tiger Sharks, Krait and other critters.
True we do seem to do less damage. Not sure about getting hit any easier. Tactics work well underwater that have helped me complete underwater events.
I enjoy being underwater in real life and in the game. I have found a few spots now were I will just let my character sit and wade underwater to just hear the background sound. It’s very soothing! Some times it’s annoying when other players come by and break up the tranquility.

I am finally receiving influence for world events were ever I am. I am not receiving Renown influence, if we are supposed to. Wiki: “2 Influence.png for individual guild members completing an event” I completed Ojon’s Lumbermill and did not receive influence for it. Guild Log "Members completed 5 activities earning 10 influence. " It does not count the 6th activity of Ojon’s Lumbermill.
I tried my Norn last night in both Wayferers Foothills and Queensdale. I completed both World and renown
events and did not receive any influence.
Today, I did the same as above. Now however I received influence while in queensdale and not in wayferers
foothills. I also did not receive any login influenece. Definitely not consistent :-(
I’ve just noticed that my guild hasn’t gained any influence for any of the renown hearts and dynamic events we’ve been doing this evening. Only logins seem to add influence.
Odd, you received login influence and not others? So I am guessing we do get influence for loging in. I am about to log in again. So we’ll see if I get any influence this time. I’ll do another renown also.

Yup, confirmed! not receiving influence for login or events. Maybe it will be fixed tonight?
This might seem petty, but influence isinfluence especially when its just you earning it. Last night before the update I was receiving influence from renown and events. I have not received any today. I have completed two world events (Answer Riddles and Hunt Dredge as snow leopard). I should have gotten two for my login (??? not sure about that, though I had been getting influence if I had not logged in for a few hours), two for Riddles and two for Dredge taking me from 458 to 464 (or 462). I have received none and remain at 458 influence.
I don’t know if this maters or not, I have noticed that in order to receive influence you have to be in the characters race world. I don’t think that is correct? I took my human from Queensdale and when to Wayfarer foothills. I completed the ice drake brood mother event, Bear renown and raven renown. I believe I should have received 6 influence from those events and I received none. I went back to Queensdale and completed the rogue bull twice and the helping Edna (? the spiders in the orchard) for which I received 6 influence.
I figured influence is influence no matter what area your in as long as you are on your world and complete an event you should get influence towards the guild you currently represent. Is that wrong?
Is there a current issue with earning influence? Should this be happening like this? Should I open a ticket for the 12 influence I did not receive?
We are 99% PvE and Personal Story players. We are mature gamers looking for same who would like to play Guild Wars and Guild Wars 2. We are a small guild looking to increase membership. We are a married couple and welcome other couples or singles. Representation is not required though appreciated.
