It’s not about easy matches, it’s about fighting people that don’t need 30 others strapped to their hips before they’ll fight you. It’s about getting GOOD fights which seems to be something you can’t offer smaller groups.
TC is winning by 15k points right now which is hardly a big victory but is a great sign for the servers ranked 4-9. I hope the rest of our matches remain this close, but I also hope you guys can stop being so scared to leave those blobs you love so much.
Of course its not about you guys tanking t2 and blobbing non t2 servers(not because you’re too scared of facing bigger servers mind you). Its all about you guys not getting the things “you” want. Every other server doesn’t matter cept for the one you’re in.

Not trying to be insulting, but that is one fair-weathered wvw population.
Don’t think anyone on TC takes that as an insult, most servers have fair-weather players and we know it.
I think part of what makes the T1 servers so consistent is that they are matched with each other almost all the time and there are no “easy” match-ups to accumulate fair-weathers. Most other servers don’t have that luxury – a few weeks of mind-numbing steamroll match-ups where you can do whatever you want, followed by a smack in the face against T1 every few weeks while you are still carrying the fair-weathers and just get rolled over. Hardly ideal for building a consistent WvW population =/
Yeah. We got a load of False Coverage during our easy matches, to poach a term from the [KH] crew. On an easy Saturday night, we run three maps queued on NA, with the third nearabouts…. And in a match like this, we almost never queue.
And I imagine the difference is exacerbated by the appearance of what fair weathers the T1s do have. I doubt JQ and BG (or SoR a couple weeks back) normally run with this many up levels. It’s probably why the chest thumpers on our server like to denigrate the performance of T1s when they see them on the field for fights too, coz we see amazing numbers, but, by the sheer nature of the week as an easy week, rarely your best performances…
Yea, don’t get me wrong, I don’t have anything against fairweathers, we were all like them once. Our guys just never have the consistent hard matches to evolve out of it. Our server needs to be obliterated not just once, but every freaking week to be honest. That’s how we shape our WvW core. You can say whatever you want against JQ, but they’re the grandfather of getting pounded against a number of server that rised up in T1 and stayed with it until they get the upper hand. Then there’s BG, I remember the time they kept getting push out of T1 only to get back in there….
…and now you’re both here with SOR in T1, where every battles is hard fought. I honestly envy you guys. :P

FA talks all this smack about how bad every TC player is…but every time I’ve been roaming solo or in small groups (as I prefer, with like 2-5), every FA group has ran.
Last night me and a guardian in my guild came upon 2 thieves…I hit them with a Magic Bullet once and they started to run…we had to chase those guys down. I’m not saying all FA people run, but at least the ones I’ve seen roaming around TCBL were last night. FA, every match you make excuses and talk smack about TC…yet so far I have seen you guys zerg ball just as much as run from silly situations (such as the guild group from FA (I’m not going to call out the guild) who ran to one of our keep gates, got hit by 2 arrow carts and high tailed it back…then came back like 4 times only to run from 6 people, with 2 ACs).
And yes, I play for ppt, but also for kills. I prefer to not have wooden keeps, and make sure enemies get as few WP’s as possible
Im slightly confused they were suppose to tank two ac’s while killing you while your inside your keep? or is this just a declaration of how well you defended your keep then thats just swell….

It was 6v20 or so, and we had a wooden keep. If you cant take out 2 ACs that are sitting on top of a wall…something is wrong. I was basically just saying that you guys act all tough, but you ran from a wooden keep being defended by 2 pieces of (admittingly) poorly placed siege…I didn’t even get focus pulled off the cart
Though a few necros did try to put some marks on the walls…
If you were referring to [HAMR] (as we did do this a few times last night) it would be because, we all run hammers. Can’t do much against ACs with hammers. We’re a guild made of several FA guilds meant to be fun, buold the community and hammer smash everything in our way. So come down from the towers and get plowed by our giant hammers plz thx.

Some people will look down on other people’s playstyle, but I think most of us have been here long enough to know that everyone has the right to enjoy how the play their game.
Of course, there’s a few exceptions here and there who thinks their playstyle is above everyone else’s.

First off I’ve literally never seen FA get accused of being PPT kittens by any lower ranked servers in our match ups with them. Zerging yes but being about PPT no. I think our rep. stands for itself.
Yea, I’m pretty sure you guys also call yourselves “the unofficial pvp server” at one point too. I know you guys care about your reps a lot. So we’ll make an exception.

Second we just got done with a BG/JQ match up and i don’t think one person on FA accused JQ of being easy bags because for the most part they are not.
Were you guys even around in that match up?There were a few taunts and whines here and there, but you guys were pretty much ignored in that thread, cept for that one guy who keeps telling everyone how squishy they are in that thread..

Nope. I already stated SoR has more numbers. Just speaking the truth that SoR’s blobs may not be as skilless as they seem. Less numbers doesn’t equal more skilful. TC and SoS should 2v1 us hard, since you guys can’t beat us 1v1 coverage and skill wise. Show us how good your small numbers are.
Don’t have to prove anything to ya really, but try to show your skills through all that numbers and coverage. Maybe we’ll see it.

While I do agree SoR blobs much harder due to their coverage and numbers, don’t kid yourselves and think you can beat SoR with equal numbers.
