I guess we’re seeing both DB’s and TC’s full forces post-transfers now.. oh well a sort-of balanced tier 2 was fun while it lasted.

I dont think so, DB’s transfers arent done yet so expect more coming, and I think TC is going to wait for a bit to see if we need to take advantage of our “full server status” so to speak.

Both servers are waiting each other out I think, FA use this time to get more people.

Yea, T2 is making everyone crazy right now lol… Anyway, ive been trying to avoid this topic because I am simply having too much fun in this match. This is exactly the type of match ive imagined against Kaineng when warmachine was unstoppable back then. I admit though, im a bit weary that Dragonbrand seem to be in a similar predicament as Kain, but I do believe that they’re more ready. After all, didnt they survive a server implosion before? So have a lil faith guys, and try not to generalize because whether you like it or not, we’re all gunna be together for quite awhile.

Unless of course, TC ends up going against Eredon Terrace after the 28th patch. XD

Kain was a great server in T8, they were just screwed by transfers who wanted to get to T1 as quickly as possible instead of developing it’s already great community. That’s all Im gunna say about that.

I’m a part of the militia btw, and while I believe that TC has an insane focus on training us, I really don’t think we can match a well organized guild whose inside a keep with a dozen arrow crats I’m assuming. I do agree that we’ll keep on coming after it unless a commander ordered us not to. :P

I’m surprised by all the TC comments about their fairweathers over the last few pages of this thread. It feels like only a couple of days ago that people from your server were painting FA with a fairweather paintbrush and talking about TC’s unwavering commitment – very odd stuff.

I actually thought it was FA that says that, not us…

Hi, im the founder and Head GM of CO. Just to make an official statement from Cryptic Omen [CO] to the public we’d like to say the following:

- We loved Kaineng. We came to it willingly. Helped build the Teamspeak by promoting and founded the first server forums then later worked with Babui on founding Kaineng United.

- Fought for Kaineng every night of the week since Tier 6 and have had a rep in every server meeting for the last 3-4 months.

- We’ve enjoyed the underdog role and proving the might of Kaineng as we’ve RISE’d through the tiers. Many doubted we’d ever make it to Tier 2 to begin with…and then we won Tier 2 and felt really good about it.

- CO’s transfer is by no means influenced by any other guilds behavior or potential transfer. Our decision to leave Kaineng and find a new home was solely based on the well-being of my guild and safe keeping its future.

- CO is undecided about which server we’ll be transferring to. The only options on the table our NA Tier 2 or higher. This will be our last move. We will not move again due to many reasons (financial, morals, exhausted). Our decision will be announced May 1st.

Lastly, it’s been a pleasure fighting everyone and sharing experiences and laughing about fond memories. We’ve always tried to respect our opponents and give credit to Kaineng when they’ve worked hard together. To all the guilds and individuals that have contributed to Kaineng’s success and CO’s, I wanted to send my deepest thanks for helping us become the guild we’ve become.

Got nothing against you guys moving, but would you guys consider staying for awhile in T3? Then reassess your guild’s well being? If not, then I wish you guys luck.

TC and Kaineng were “allies” in regards to how we viewed each other – respect and sportsmanship. Certainly we weren’t allies on the battlefield – my fond thoughts of TC as a server sure didn’t stop me from smoking them, nor did it keep them from planting a spike in my head at times. Not entirely sure why anyone would blow that out of proportion and make it seem like we’re the U.S. and Britain in WWII. On the battlefield, red is dead, as it’s meant to be.

When you start saying that an ally is no longer useful to you it implies something more than a buddy partnership going on. Not that the entire server felt that way about KN. I mean, if you real life friend moves away, do you say “well, theyre useless to me now?” I am sure most people keep in contact as best they can, and not worry about how useful that friend is to them.

Keep in mind that it was one person from TC speaking his mind (I won’t mention who to avoid infractions). While that one person shows a lack of respect and sportsmanship, it isn’t necessarily indicative of the entire server.

Believe it or not, a lot of us in TC were keeping track of you guys even before WM and crew joined ya. It’s awesome seeing your videos and how much fun you guys had taking a single tower when you were all in T8. It was a blast finally meeting you guys.

There’s no way to accurately determine how good a server’s coverage is compared to another. You can’t make comments like this based on your own vague perception of what you think….especially considering how biased you are (based on your post history).

Once upon a time, a long time ago before FA received any guilds from IoJ, TC was leading over FA by 110k points. I doubt even what we received would give us enough power to easily beat TC considering the score before the merge.

But still, I don’t want to repeat myself either, so read my post again and try to understand what I meant by it, because if you did, you wouldn’t have just said what you did.

You’re kinda focusing on a moot point though, you’re insinuating that people are biased in this thread. You can’t possibly assume that you’re an exception here with all these claims that you guys are still outnumbered and outmanned on pretty much every situation that you went up against TC.

I’m no exception to bias, but considering my point…it does not apply. I said there is no way to truly know what goes on in wvw because we have no data to look at on it.

That one I needed to make sure, hence why I think it’s a moot point between us. I do believe there’s sufficient data due to the fact that you guys have an oceanic presence back then while most of TC struggles trying to pull an all niter that week. If thats not enuff then thats fine with me..

Really just curious here though, why do you think FA had superior coverage prior to the remaining CD guilds moving to TC? I mean, Kaineng had the best Oceanic/SEA coverage by far, balancing out that timezone. Nobody except TC has any EU (early morning NA) coverage.

TC actually saying that they won this Tier for their “skills” and not their “numbers” is like saying USA got Japan out of WWII for their better tactics and not because they dropped nuclear bombs on 2 Japanese cities.

TC is a HUGE ZERGBALL that used to blame their losses on the culling, now that that is out of the way they say that when they lose is cuz of the enemy having higher numbers.

Once you guys hit T1, what excuse will you come up with to justify you showing up on your enemies’ screen as loot bags instead of actual competiton?

I have to be honest. FA has had some very bad tactics in some of the skirmishes that I’ve seen as of late.

That’s because you tend to run away before the battle even begins.

Eh, I am not getting in a flame war with you. I am just saying that I’ve seen some horrible tactics in basic stuff like siege placement, getting flanked, getting portal bombed, keep/tower defense.

The only thing I can really say that FA has done well in the last two weeks is Garrison defense. You guys defend the hell out of your garrison.

That may be the case, but then again this week has been sort of an off week for us.

People just got to stop about the overgeneralization really. TC has every playstyle, some loves to fight. Others loves the metagame, we welcome them all and some of our commanders try their hardest for each playstyle to work together. We don’t mock how they play and I hope it’s the same way for Kain and FA as well.

well let me tell u this:i was in their ts when the decision was made and we did not contact them, IOJ contacted us! AVTR made a guild called [PRO] please join our ts or something like that and we got invited to their ts. 30min later we had transfers starting no gold involved. they were impressed with how we all worked together even though we had low population.

The next day all other FA guild were like OMG what happened?Our IOJ members that joined were awesome and we have formed a great community with them.
