We should have something like a treaty or sort of “code of conduct” in this thread…. I know all is fair when it comes to war, but there’s still things that shouldn’t be condoned like hacking/exploits. Everything else, I’m pretty sure people can talk it out in here. Figure out what’s acceptable and what’s not….
Today on wvw, CD borderland.
Loosing fully upgraded garison in 4minutes on a TC golems of 4 alpha and 2 omega+zerg.
TC zerg +golem taken out at WH 5minutes later.
CD retaking garison in 5minutes with rams.
Then restart update of wvw….
Everything started after the update. Looked too quiet… Then suddenly a TC zerg run across our maps from camps to camps.
WH taken by TC.
CD trying to get it back, rams taken out by TC, then CD build balista X3 + cata.
While our garison is under siege at water gate from 30 TC + golem. BUT we built just after reconnexion 12 carts up the walls :p. They took both gates down in 2minutes and died lord room in 30seconds… Tyvm for your visit TC (i saw [MF] tag ^^ may be some others were there too but what an epik fail we enjoyed our badges.) Btw I guess your Commander know what tactic can do and that mindless zerging is not always working, I understand you left but I have to thank you to let me be able to make such great moves to counter you.
I loved the wvw fights and even if we didnt win I can swear my followers loved our times fighting ^^.

Well, it was good fights and definitely fun, but your recount stopped being accurate after “CD retakes garrison in 5 minutes with rams”.
You missed:
CD loses Hill keep and Lake tower while they were taking back Garrison.
CD mass wipes in lord’s room of Bay.
CD attacks Bay gate again while their water gate gets taken down by 4 people with 1 ram.
CD withdraws from Bay and loses garrison again 10 minutes after taking it to the TC reinforcements from Bay.
CD loses WH because the gate was only repaired to 20% after the golem assault.
Then the reset happened. I don’t know what happened after that because I left the map.
Don’t bother, all he does is chest thump on the forums about how his guild destroys everyone they face and thanks us for the badges. Going by his picture you’ll swear CD were all god-like chosen warriors while the other servers are herds of mindless sheep spewing badges as they die.
I think it’s fine, it’s a morale booster for some of them. I’m pretty sure we all have our own tales of our own victories, but we don’t really need to. We’re on first place. :p Quite frankly, some people in FA are worse in my opinion.
Probably missed that mesmer because they’re too busy fending off TC’s mindless zerg lol. Because ya know, that’s all we do :p…..Seriously tho, I know this is the first time Yak squared off with TC but next time just try talking to the people in question without the accusations and condemnations. We don’t bite…..that much…
Are we really gunna do this? List all the questionable acts each server had done? Just say you saw this and that and everyone should feel bad and ashamed? Seriously, its the same song over and over again on every single wvw thread on every single server….
One would think people who’d been doing this for awhile would know better by now…
And sceptus, we have been fighting tier 1 transfers a lot longer than you have.
And do you not know why they are leading us back and forth? Because we are actively pursuing a fight. When you guys all head to EB we all port over there to try and fight you, only to have you port back to CD borderlands. If we all sit in CD borderlands then you port to EB.
This isn’t about population, this is about actively avoiding the fight for the sake of “tactics” when you own 90% of the borderlands and are afraid to actually fight for the 10% you don’t own.
So you’re saying you’re dealing with TC when you’re at your strongest then? You want to fight TC when you have the advantage? I’d assume you’re talking about TC’s primetime cus you keep seeing this “slippery 60 man zerg”….

I have thought about it, that is the point of these whole posts. You hop back and forth between bg’s so that you don’t ever fight a decent defending force, you split them among BG’s so that you can 60vs10 every fight. Strategically effective but very dull for everyone involved. When we do muster a defensive squad in CD borderlands using people from other borderlands you get pushed back and port your entire zerg to EB to hit undefended doors there. Non-primetime is some of the dullest WvW we have experienced in a long time, and you continue to use the same tactic every day.
This isn’t even about strategy anymore, everyone is already aware that TC at primetime outnumbers you. I really don’t know why they’re leading you guys back and forth, (I still don’t know why you guys keep following them around like that) but trying to make it look like TC is scared to fight you is a bit skecthy. Again, we’ve faced servers with a lot stronger force than you guys have right now….

I got the funny feelin TC is just being playful with you right now , I just find it funny though. I still doubt that it’s a 60 man zerg, but it’s interesting how you keep following them around…
I have heard that some TC squad has a habit of leading people around the map though, which is somewhat amusing imo….I remember one server getting spooked out because of it( I’m thinking Blackgate?)…
You can’t be complaining from CD though, because I know your prime time is a lot stronger than TC… I can understand if you’re HOD, but we can’t really control our server’s population…
Oh I’m not trying to discredit any of SOR’s accomplishment really. They’re really efficient and surgical, and they have my respect for that. I honestly don’t mind the spawn camping because I’ve seen worse in other war games that’s a lot less forgiving than GW2, I just really don’t think it’s necessary at this point, but hey Dragonbrand pretty much did the same thing and I think that had a positive effect on TC. It’s gunna be interesting to see the aftermath of this match for TC….
The only thing I saw of ET was a late night 3 man Thief gank squad on the SoR borderland. Their pastimes included capturing then camping a single camp, then stealth render abuse ganking anything that came to investigate, capturing sentries then stealth render abuse ganking anyone who came to investigate, and finally using some crazy ‘teleport-across-the-map’ hax when any groups came to gank them.

I’m pretty sure that’s the only 3 man squad in the whole server tho. I understand SOR maybe trying to break TC’s morale, but try to cut ET a bit of slack here. You guys won, no need to kick em down any further…..
funny that tc had about 200 players at all times in fort asp battle last week and sor has whole map.tc you cant tell me that the 200 players you had last week are just not playing or gave up the transfers are killing this game it really is.i mean your 200 players cant even capture a supply camp now??? lol
The 200 is still there, we’re just being gobbled up by the 500 rite now. lol No pain, no gain..
@Galrukh.6532 What a typical QQ post. I’m sorry but why don’t you quit complaining and fight like the rest of your server? What happened last week when both TC and FA had to face the wrath of Blackgate? From our perspective, FA decided to roll over and let Blackgate rub their tummies and, only towards the end of the week, did you decide to get organised and cap stuff so that we would both be pushed down to Tier 4 for a more balanced match. Thanks for that btw! I honestly believe this week is more balanced! ^^ And no, I’m not being sarcastic or snarky!
Even now, having got the supposedly more balanced match you fought for, you say it’s fixed and give up. I don’t think FA should give up at all. Where will being passive get you? Be like others on your server and continue to fight even if it looks bad. Even if you don’t win, you can still annoy the other team.
What irks me the most about your post is that you blame TC for ruining the match. I paid for this game too. I have no obligations to you and can play whenever I want to. Your point would’ve been valid if we had been doing what Blackgate were doing to HoD and ET i.e. capping all of your spawn points with siege. Except we haven’t.
And if the shoe had been on the other foot and you were in the lead, I’m certain TCers wouldn’t complain. Grow up. You’re never going to get an easy match from TC if that’s what you want. We don’t hold our horses or give you courtesy caps (which are condescending!). And I don’t think we’d want you to make it easy for us either.
Yes it sounds like QQ I realise that but its the honest truth, you ruined the match for yourself (and everyone else).
When I logged off friday while we were slightly in the lead I said as my goodbye that we shouldnt take too much or we might ruin the match for the week, when I logged on the next day TC had done exactly that with their nightime crew. You dont just ruin the match for us, you ruin it for yourself (unless you dont enjoy fair fights ofcourse).
You have no obligation to not roflstomp us but if you do, you have no WvW for 5 days of the week. Its the simple truth.
I was out fighting yesterday, for a long time and I was out friday so dont tell me to come out and fight, Im there but I probably wont be on the weekdays because you will be so far ahead that we cant get anywhere near your numbers and thus it stops being fun for everyone including you and me. If you dont give people a glimmer of hope, they wont come out. Its pretty telling that friday our queue was 1-2 hours, saturday there was no queue at all.
That’s a bit unfair don’t you think so? You’ve fought against TC along with Blackgate. The same night crew you’re blaming right now are the same people that went against BG’s massive armies for hours to the very end even if they’re aware that there’s no chance of winning. They’ve done their best in that match, you should have been aware they’ll do the same in this one.
