You mean to tell me all 16 guilds that moved from IoJ to FA came to the decision on their own and just gathered their belongings and left IoJ. None of them had any conversations with representatives from BT / RET / HOPE etc? Or that the first IoJ guild to move over from IoJ to FA did not act as a proxy FA representative to convince the others to come on board as well?
Well….they decided to transfer without any coercing from us. Then they probably talked to some FA and I’m guessing we said sure and then….they came.

I don’t know, this whole transfer issue keeps getting brought up every 10th post. I think people just want to settle this, so that it won’t come up on the next thread.
IoJ was T1 server dominating for ages… Then along came the bandwagoners, and ruined our near instant queue times. What happened then? A majority of the great WvW guilds we had left, cause they were sick of the bandwagoners…. IoJ was already great, and suffered long before their second decline…. Please, know what you’re talking about before you run your mouth

I know you have to get your server out there and all but I find this way disrespectful, by directly asking a server or guild that they should “come join us!” And even offer them the money is expecting too much. It’s asking for them just to abandon the server and join fa. Not going to name guild or point out individuals but please take this into account, try to be more vast than selective when advertising. In celebration of our new allies, we decided to take it to CD BL. We didn’t have a chance of pushing to take first this week with the reset tomorrow, but we wanted to send a very CLEAR message to CD.
Next week you’re in trouble.

There was no “spin” on it, she said it accurately. There were people arguing over that issue in that thread. People were aware of how loyal the DB guilds were, and most of em believe there’s no chance of em transferring over. Yet most of you seem to believe that the whole TC seem to support this.

Think Occam’s Razor here. Getting trampled by Kain’s oceanic is not something most people would want to go through everyday,. Sure, we could go to bed….
But what if….
We could go to bed while still doing something about it?
You are stacking your server like any T1 server has done, yet make the claim that your intent is not to go there. It makes no ultimate sense to recruit more and more people if your aim is to stay in T2.
How about not getting trampled by Kain’s oceanic?Does that make sense for you? You think we’re stacking here, but do you know the difference between how stack the T1 servers are compare to what we got? Do you still remember Kain’s oceanics here? The one that keeps trampling on us? Have you fought Warmachine by any chance?
Neither does it make sense to use the argument of long playing hours because things get flipped behind you when you are asleep. Recruiting players off of servers just pushes that problem off on other people. The players on CD have had a particularly rough go at it because of xfers off their server in the past and present.
That’s one thing I regret, that’s something all of us(that includes “Fort Jaspenwood” and Kain) has to deal with….
And although some people on lower servers complain about being “nightcapped”, by now the vast majority of players have accepted it as part of the game.
But there are people who wants to do something about it instead of just accepting it. Are you ok with that?
That’s just crying. for the wrong reason. Waking up to losing all your crap is a fact of life on almost all tiers. People have the option to go to bed. Because at the end of the day PPTs aren’t a real life accomplishment or anything.

Some people can do something about it, like filling up our gaps instead of just going to bed. You go to bed, we’ll do something that can help everyone and go to bed at the same time. You going to hold that against us? Not exactly crying for the wrong reason now aint it?

Why are you pulling all nighters then? To not lose your NA gains… thus you want to increase your ppt. So I ask again, how do you guys plan on winning T2 but not go to T1?

We don’t have such master plans Nibble to go to T1, we just want to fill our gaps like everyone else in here. Would that mean we’ll eventually go up? Possibly, but it’s not in our plans. We don’t know what gonna happen in the future, but it’s not really what we want right now.

I don’t think GvG can happen with FA/TC simply because of the level of mutual antagonism and vitriol. For GvG to happen there has to at least be a small level of mutual respect/trust and repeated efforts to try to establish this has failed.

Maguuma and almost any server will do gvg and fight clubs no matter what level of forum trolling goes on. That’s not really a reasonable excuse. People generally will be fair except for those sneaky [awe] guys and their trebs in gvg
If there’s no respect, there’s no trust. If there’s no trust, there’s less inclination to do anything that requires cooperation like GvG. Because there’s no trust, there’s no guarantee that a 5v5 would be honoured without some big gank squad swooping in and voiding the agreement. And given TC/FA history that just keeps perpetuating itself, it’s completely reasonable. But I don’t speak for the big guilds. This is just my observation.
That’s why you have someone record it. Hard to argue with video evidence. BT is more than willing to have a fair, friendly GvG with any guild willing. So far our requests are met with silence or excuses and that makes us sad pandas.
Then help change this toxic climate we have here. Stomp your trolls, we will stomp ours.
Our history doesn’t have to be permanent. But it’s limiting so much more that could happen, I think. At least for some.
Kain will thank us for it. I feel badly that they have to put up with this same garbage, week after week.

I’d rather just see The main TC faces here on the forums admit their server is just as trolly as any other server and that dictating how others should act on the internet is never going to work.
Is there really any TCers that claimed to be any better nor worse than any server? If so, why would you even take that seriously?
Naaa this is Disneyland compared to EVE. Still not even as bad as T1.. :p I think people are just experiencing deterioration due to our server facing the same opponents time and time again which is a bit too early imo…. Heck even Kain is getting cranky.
But, apparently, you guys really didn’t think they needed more people either so why the big “buddy buddy” campaign?
No, I’m pretty sure they gunna need more people. One thing I agree with Arkenfel, is that they’ve peaked. That’s gonna be a problem, we did what we can, but I have a feeling TC won’t stop for them. Nor would they stop for FA.
Let’s see there’s Kain who destabilized SBI and a couple of servers to get where they are now, and there’s you guys who proudly calls themselves “Fort Jaspenwood”……Are we really gunna have a problem just because TC is about to get an upgrade the same way?

I don’t know Niim. TC is “growing”. They just gutted CD of three of its primary Oceanic and SEA guilds – Naga, ESF and Awe per the SoS/SBI/CD thread. I’d expect we’ll see TC’s reinforcements arrive this weekend.
Fare thee well balanced T4 and balanced T2. It was nice while we knew ye. To TC- I hope you guys don’t need to destabilize any other servers in your eternal pursuit of T1.

To some it’s just a matter of respect. Other’s simply want to get more fights. Pity has nothing to do with this….As for you guys being in 3rd, most of you have been constantly reminding us how 1 of you can wipe 50 million of us on every fifth post of this thread so there’s really no worries there. :p

TCer here currently against Kai. This server has a number of talented guilds that’s responsible for keeping T2 to be one of the most competitive match up in this tier.
Now is a great time for any pveers, soloist, or anyone who wants to try WvW but are nervous to come make a difference for this server!
Not yet, don’t count your server out. I’m still hoping it’s just a burn out due to how many tiers you guys went through. Hang in there and just rest for a bit.
I don’t doubt that Kai is still stronger than us, but TC will keep on pushing itself. Although I’m not too sure if Kai is ready for t1 though. JQ,SOR and BG are still way ahead of us imo….
Kai turned into a superserver overnight though, of course they’re gonna have fun. Although most server that went up against em didn’t exactly share the same sentiment till they met Blackgate and TC :P
Not that it matters seeing that I usually play on oceanic/sea times. Both servers look the same to me. And I’m totally ok with that. Not bitter at all.
