Shino… you really need to put words in all AG players mouth? I am/was a FIRE member so you should know I was in AG for some months, but now we disbanded and I’m back to SFR where I started my journey.
Vizunah was always one of the server I most hated not for only one reason…
- They are good at outnumbering you
- They are good at running
- They are really REALLY pros at building siege (problably they have siege damage ranked up aswell)
- They are… disrespectfull to me.

I believe that I said “most” not “all”. Anyway,Vizunah was nothing like that for me, they were great fun to fight, they respected our duelists and I rarely had them run away from me. The outnumbering part is true but that just adds to the fun for me. Meanwhile, we had SFR trolls insulting Vizunah in our matchup thread, I was not impressed.

@Aponax I think I can speak for most people on my server when I say that it’s a matter of pride, we’re determined not to lose to blobbers, or maybe just to limit our losses.

as bad as these matchups are that AG is getting, I stay positive by believing that an epic matchup is soon to come. The ultimate matchup for me would be AG vs GD vs MS, and on the reset night, I would play this song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZKu2bhS1U38 while waiting for the action to start. I believe that these matchups are like a really bad teaser trailer.

while I was commanding in eb, we didn’t attack FSP once, we only focused on AM, you had plenty of oppurtunities to attack your keep and you didn’t take them, so don’t blame us.

Heck, we even intentionally went for SM when we saw that Far Shiverpeaks were trying to retake their garrison. Neither of us managed to take our goals.

Shortly after that Far Shiverpeaks started attacking our area, pretty much ignoring their own territories.

tbh, I was pretty appalled to find us being accused of double teaming them after all the effort we put in to avoid it.

I’ve just had a thought, it’s Friday the 13th and it’s reset day today I have a horrible feeling that AG is going to wind up with RS and AM. AM’s not bad on their own, but combined with RS, there is very little hope.

sorry SFR, but you’ve got to accept that AG is slowly becoming bros with Vizunah and Kodash . I really hope that we get to fight them next week they’ve been great adversaries. If you keep up the awesomeness Vizunah, then you might just move up to the top 5 on my list.

to be honest, I thought that Vizunah were going to be like an even more annoying version of Riverside, but they really aren’t. in my opinion, if they toned down their numbers, siege killers and the amount of conditions they use, then they would actually be a great server to fight. They are very friendly and honest people to fight (apart from a few hackers, but every server has those), I just don’t see what some people have against them.

btw Piken, don’t you want to drop in points as well? If you drop in points low enough, then you’re almost guarenteed to face AG (TUP and HoB) in a matchup

I would also love a choice where we could choose which server to fight, that means that we wouldn’t get such bad matchups.

if it wasn’t enough that Kodash got involved with SM, they even did suicidal charges into the center to try and stop us taking it.

grats to that mesmer from CPC, you’re the first VS to defeat me in a fair 1 vs 1 fight, may we meet again (I’ll have to come up with a mesmer killing build first xD)

I’ve been wondering this for a while, what is Anets favourite EU server? (if they have one) Are they a big fan of Vizunahs zerg tactics, are they more of a fan of ROF’s more casual approach? Or are they somewhere in between (e.g. Millers sound) I know that Anet don’t actually choose the matchups, so as far as I know, the matchups don’t show their opinion about our servers. Do they dissaprove of the zerging or do they approve of it as a part of the game? I can’t be the only person who wonders about this.

I have just had a terrifying thought, what if VS and RS had an alliance? VS would field the numbers and RS would camp in the towers and spam with superior arrow carts. Btw, we do have server pride, some may call it stubborness, but I call it extreme fighting spirit.

I personally think that this is a great idea, especially for servers like Gandara and Aurora Glade, we’re extremely similar servers who get terrible matchups, also, it would revolutionise the whole WvW principal.

I did the test and came out as an guardian, you got the test spot on!. Then I did the test again and changed my answers to something else that I would put and got an engineer.

thanks to SFR, Deso and Gandara for their condolances, but Vizunah will not break our spirit, no matter how many they throw at us.
