what would happen if elementalist got moved to high health category? (so same amount of health as necro + warrior)

Thieves are just a joke class for my mesmer and my guardian to crush, they can only defeat me if there’s more than 1. (I use PU mesmer and zerk guardian, seriously, try it.)

Best armour is healing signet, it makes you invincible.

Please, for the love of all that is good and holy don’t implement another season

I don’t mind condition spammers; as long as they’re on their own, what I can’t put up with are groups of gankers. I mainly use my guardian, but I use my mesmer to stop myself being chased down by gank squads, but even that doesn’t always work.

If this was implemented, then WvW would be so much better to play

Hello Gw2 team and everyone, WvW can be more interesting if we have ground vehicles such as mounts of animals which can fight and air battles with some cool birds or dragons.naval warfare with some whales or quaggans. For EX: we can see planetside 2 combat we can adopt it and change it into gw2 style. trust me people will love it. This will improve gw2 a lot and makes it a real War. For things like these current maps are not suitable need huge maps.I hope gw2 Team see’s this and try to do something in this way.From a WvW fan Thnq.

I started taking the clock tower but I ran into the entire enemy team’s mini zerg, I ended up dodging about and spamming dps attacks as my guard to no real avail except to do as much damage as possible, once they managed to down me, all 8 of them tried finishing me at once.

However, the dude on the treb had my back, his shot was perfect enough to down 3 of them and knock back the other 5, they immediately tried finishing again to rally their teammates, but the dude on the treb had other plans, he managed to do the same shot again, this time it finished off the 3 downed guys and downed the other 5 who hadn’t thought about healing.

I just finished them one by one while the treb guy backed me up with more shots, between two of us, we had destroyed the entire enemy team. Truly a wonderful moment for me as a guardian.

No need to be rude, anyway , most of these questions are for Anet.
For the record, there has been cases of full servers, even my server was full at one point

1. Will Chinese players have their own world system that’s separate from EU/NA? (like NA have their own world system that’s separate from EU)

2. How is Anet dealing with the Chinese law that states there’s no zombies allowed in video games in China? (Since the undead are currently the main group of enemies in PVE)

3. Is it allowed to copy a hacker’s techniques in order to catch them out?

4. Will Anet release gw2 in Japan?

5. Will there be a EU/NA crossover season where EU servers fight NA servers?

6. What’s the situation with Cantha and Elona (will there be expansions?)

7. Will there be a new race anytime soon? (I want to be a tengu )

8. Is there any Anet devs on EU servers, if there are, then which servers?

9. Will there be new servers introduced to make up for currently overcrowded server issues?

Thieves really aren’t OP, the only thing they have going for them is good stealth which is almost matched by PU mesmers, there’s so many counters for thieves, it’s just getting horrendous. Pretty much every patch they’re getting nerfed.

At the beginning of the game, I went on spvp a lot and trolled around on my thief, when I went back to spvp 5 weeks ago and played on my thief, I was horrified at how much it had been nerfed, I was no longer an invincible sword thief but a rallybot >.< It appalled me so much that I now use a guardian for spvp since they’re unlikely to be nerfed anywhere near as much.

I’m tempted to create a thread just for thief weaknesses, there’s just so many.

It’s getting to the point where I literally farm thieves for kill stacks (yes you read that right, illusionary counter + 40% condition duration ftw)

Thieves really aren’t OP, if you predict their movements then it’s like shooting fish in a barrel, as a mesmer, I just use illusionary counter when they go stealth and 9 times out of 10 they fall for it and get tormented to death before they can figure out what’s happened.

At least that’s what it feels like. Considering the consistent stranglehold this class has had on all aspects of the game since launch it receives surprisingly little complaints. I guess it’s because in 1v1 scenario, which everyone bases their assessments on, Warriors seem ok.

But while it was fair to complain about Thieves displacing all other damage dealers in sPvP it has never been an issue that Warriors, since the dawn of this game, have been the uncontested bunker class.

Nothing comes close to Warriors in this role and everyone seems to be ok with it. Why? Have we become so complacent that we simply accept this as a rule of the game?

All all other roles up for grabs (roamer, point-fighter etc.) except for mid-bunker? Have we given up trying to see class diversity in this role?

Or what about WvW where 60-70%….sometimes even as many as 60% of classes are made up of Warriors. Warriors that turn themselves and their team-mates into nigh-unkillable blobs.

Warriors by themselves also seem to negate the entire power of conditions in large scale battles, conditions which normally dominate any smaller scale encounter.

Or let’s talk about PvE where Warriors seem to cover 80% of the support a group might need. Sure, you might take a Mesmer for more reflects or an Elementalist for damage but when it comes to defensive support a Warrior is all you could ever ask for. The 1-stop carefree package to any PvE trip you might have planned.

In any other MMO having so much (defensive) power culminating in a single class would be considered game-breaking. And it is.

And yet in Guild Wars 2 this seems to be perfectly acceptable.

Warriors do have 20.000 crits and other obvious “in your face” imbalances that might spark QQ on the forums. But if you ask me they are probably the single most broken class in the game, simply because of all the defensive and group utility they have accumulated in themselves.

Need nerfing dramatically:
Warriors of all kinds (at the moment they have: best healing, best mobility, best armour, second best damage (thieves have first), one of the best at zerging, they even have a brilliant condition build) they’ve needed nerfing for several months now and they seem to be getting buffed more and more each patch. Not to mention they have a health pool that looks like it belongs on Zhaitan.

Need nerfing:
PU mesmers (I run one as my second character and they definitely need nerfing)
Dhuumfire necros (full bar of conditions is just too much)

Just fine:
Thieves of all kinds (although thieves should have less armour if they’re going to have so much stealth)
Guardians of all kinds (although they’re terrible at roaming they make up for it at zerging)
Engineers of all kinds
all mesmers apart from PU

Need buffing:
Elementalists of all kinds
All necros apart from Dhuumfire (preferaby with more stability)

Need buffing dramatically:
Rangers

I wonder if the legendary defenders get to see a therapist during the small downtime while the match up resets. They have seen so many suiciders end their lives, day after day. Must be one of the toughest jobs in all Tyria.

I’m sure a Sentry Guard need a therapist much more than anyone else in wvw… It’s problably the worst job ever…

I’m hardly ever in parties, but yes

nope, everyone experiances lag (except for people with mega internet connectivity)

Do you experience the lag at very specific times?
lag occurs at all parts of the day but mainly in the evenings, I rarely zerg but I still suffer horrendous lag while roaming

If the hackers take down the gem store, then it’ll be fixed.

…but not AG^^, I know AG is about 9 guilds short (more have left) but we still don’t want Desos polluting us.

There’s a bug which causes players to drop into the void (beneath the map) when they use blink on certain spots, it need fixing ASAP before somebody else discovers it and actually shows people how to do it!
