Captain’s Log, Stardate 43125.8. I have been waiting for 10 days now for 1v1 in wvw. No enemy in sight. I am starting to wonder if wvw is the right place to look for 1v1’s. Maybe spvp would be a better place, although I am not confident that equal stats for everyone is a thing for me. I have decided to wait a few more days in hope of getting some wvw zerg built enemy ganked.

day 15, I have been roaming about this small spvp map looking for a fair 1 vs 1 duel with someone who isn’t a thief, my efforts so far have been in vain since nobody from the enemy team goes out on their own. I am missing the comfort of actually being able to roam without being in constant fear of being ganked by two thieves who stay in perma stealth.

GvG players play more WvW than you mate.

If only that was true so GvG’s could be organised outside of primetime.
Instead of having que’s everywhere and looking on twitch to see 40 or more people of your server behind the windmill.

There is no GvG that consists of 40 people on one side, so the 40 was made of spectators as well, and thats not the guilds fault. As for GvGers doing more wvw than most, that’s true, do you think they only turn on their computers and run the game when there is a GvG? GvGers are hardcore wvwers as well.
If you want to blame the queues on anybody look towards the pve players that came purely for the achievements.

if you include spectators, then that can add up to 40

I have covered my skills to prevent people copying me and doing the same to us and yes, they really did put down an anti stealth trap on a guardian.

There was AG ranger speed hacking around the keep, think people were more after him than you since people were desperately trying to catch him for reporting.

And Abaddon’s Mouth belongs to Silver League like it or not as our ranking is always between 10-11. If there is a server that does not belong to Silver is Desolation. But that is another thema for another thread.

this has got to be one of the best matchups that we’re going to get in the league, so let’s all make the most of it until friday. There’s only one thing I can think of that’s wrong with this matchup…

best case I’ve ever seen is when I wrote Kodash, then at, and it counted it as a swear word!

just to set things straight, AG has been blobbing this matchup; blobbing a lot, we don’t usually blob this much, it’s only because we have so many PVE achievement hunters on 24/7. If it wasn’t for all of the PVE people, Millers probably would have won this matchup due to their (normally) superior night squads. So don’t use this week as your image of AG, use weeks where we don’t have an insane amount og people.

@Hihey, I look forward to dueling with you again in december , meanwhile, I shall have to make do with Gandara and maybe blobbadons (<lol, as if that’s going to happen xD)

btw: I don’t have a screenie, but I do remember that they were a warrior (in draconic armor) and an upleveled necro, they along with 4 others chased me all of the way to SM after I had the nerve to try and duel with the warrior, as soon as I bowed, a ranger started firing at me and the warrior decided to chase me down with 4 other guys, the necro only appeared when I got downed.

why don’t GH just simply have 1 vs 1 fights instead of having to double team all of the time? The only GH I have seen respect 1 vs 1 fights are members of [TEO]

From the little roaming I’ve done in this matchup, I’d say around 80% to 90% of my fights with AG end up with me in 1v2+ situations.

yeah, I’m not meaning duels, I’m just meaning roaming in general, in GH borderlands about 95% of fights end up in 1 vs 2 situations, in eb, 90% of the fights were 1 vs 3 or more, the rest were 1 vs 2s :L with the exception of a FURY elementalist who ambushed me while I was attacking the grub, it was still a good fight tho

I had high hopes for this match up roaming-wise, but I’ve been a bit disappointed. I guess it’s the influx of new WvW’ers that make solo roaming a bit hard.

I’m not going to lie, AG do it a lot as well, but GH players in eb do it a heck of a lot more, for instance, I had 5 GH gate crash my 1 vs 1 with a guardian outside of SM, they actually chased me all of the to the western gate where I finally managed to get rid of them

yeah, Desolation were faking their badness, they’re beating Gandara despite their extreme numbers boostage.

AG have a good chance of coming top of silver, for 5 out of 7 weeks, we’re green, everyone knows that green’s the best colour to be, also, we’ve had insane number boosting because of the living story abd achievement hunters, so don’t count us out just yet

edit: I just realised that blobbadons are green for all 7 weeks, well we have a chance, but it’s just not very good
