Would be totally overpowered if the ranger were to be affected by pet’s trait. What do you do about shout?

- does guard grant you stealth and protection?
- does sick’em grant you 40% damage and 40% movement speed?
- does Search and rescue force you to go to the downed player and rez it?
- does protect me! protect you with your own body, resulting in no damage mitigation at all?
- Signet of renewal will pull allies condition on you, are you ok with that?
- vigorous training need a pet swap… sad, that make 1 trait out.
- Allies aid if you are already rezing your allies do you need the search and rescue thingy?
- Empathic bond, will you pull your own conditions to yourself?
- Clarion bond, how will it work?
- Alpha training become useless, you won’t take the first strike of your pet.
- Companion’s might free might and bleed on every crit… totally OP
- Pet’s prowess free movement speed and critical damage?

There are to many hindrance to that idea of yours, sorry.

1. Reduced effectiveness
2. Reduced effectiveness
3. Ranger does a stronger revive.
4. Reduced effectiveness
5. Reduce effectiveness of conditions applied.
6. I think you could still pet swap (as in you have the ability to use their active skills/gain some of their attribute properties) so this wouldn’t be a problem.
7. Basically a second search and rescue. Skills do this all the time (I.e. guardian and their smite on heal and regular smite). While one is on CD you can still use the other one.
8. Act as condi clear with reduced effectiveness.
9. Pet swap still remains, see 6.
10. Ranger gets 2 stacks of opening strike.
11. Add an internal cooldown.
12. Reduced effectiveness.

I was actually gonna post something like this lol. But yeah I agree, this is what I think the druid is gonna be like. Also, that rangers will take the traits from beastmastery also.

Shouts are better for group play definitely. For solo, I would go Medi. Are you looking to do group roaming or group zergs?

If they keep any information in their databases, then they should be able to see that the email I use matches the email of the character I named and that the character I named indeed has 30 points.

Fix it yourself by doing some or all of the following;

• Unlink your gw1/2 accounts and re-link them
• log into gw1, then log into gw2
• peruse the forums next time to see that other players have found solutions to this
• dont have a fit the next time something like this happens when it already comes with a 2 minute fix you do yourself

Even without any condi damage that’s 131*4sec*5 party members: 2600 damage and a blind (maybe). This is a free 500 DPS for the team.

If any of the members have condition damage stats this is a completely different story…

I was referring more to solo play but i do see how it can be strong in group play; its just really inconsistent and i loved the old burning; thats life though.

Binding Blade’s dot scales off condition damage so maybe he just had high condi dmg and his ticks were hitting you for that much?

The burns are so short lived and do minimal damage unless you invest in condition dmg; yet if someone invests in condi dmg rather than power/precision, they still do okay damage with skills.

I suggest buffing condis when you have no/low condi dmg with little stacks and nerfing it when you have high condi dmg with a lot of stacks.

I guess its like this because we used to invest points into trees that automatically give you condi dmg/duration and now all the stats are moved to amulets and whatnot.

What if there was a grandmaster trait that allowed symbols to follow you around? Like when you place the symbol it moves with you so you have this AoE damaging effect.

You can’t do that until you complete the intro mission. Until you finish it you are locked into the instance. That said it takes like 5 minutes max, so I don’t see a big problem.

true, it is not a huge deal, but it is a mild annoyance and seems simple enough to fix. its hard to switch between say 3 different professions seamlessly without wasting 15 minutes on the intros.

So please anet, if its an easy fix, do it. If its complicated, of course I understand.

It is kind of annoying to have to go through the beginning section every time I want to try out a profession in sPvP. Anet could make it so that they get teleported back to the first instance every time they try to leave the heart of the mists. They would still have to complete the intro.

you can’t teleport at all with no target. With this patch, if you are not in range, WITH target, you will not move at all.

thats what im saying. im saying if they DO decide to go on with the patch and nerf teles, then at least dont make it completely unusable because that would honestly be ridiculous. the post you replied to was offering an alternative to completely nerfing it

well isnt it possible to use zerker for roaming wvw? just like 1v1s and stuff. i have no interest in zerging

so basically i am running full zerker armor/weapons but i am gonna start getting my accessories soon. i’m thinking either soldier’s or knights.

this would be for general pve (wvw, dungeons, etc)

I think they should make it so we can move while using it.

If you are using hammers, you might want to look at an Orrian Smasher. I think it would go with that look better than what you have now. You can pick up a cheap low level one and transmute the skin. This one is on a Norn so it’s scaled up in size, but it’s big on a human also.

haha no not a hammer person, i just have it equipped. im a scepter, sword, GS and sometimes mace kinda guy. hammer is too slow thanks though.

Kind of, the left would certainly go better with it because I think of him as a young, righteous kid who wants to help everyone but isn’t afraid to get down and dirty. Also I imagine him to be in/close to the seraph. But I’ve had the armor on the left for a looong time lol.
