It would be a nice feature to be able to (like we could in GW1) to set to offline and still be able to interact with guild chat without being pestered with whispers.

Game was fine for me, on both of my accounts, NA and EU, until this last patch.

Now it’s super high ping, chat/skill delay sometimes in excess of 5 seconds.

My constructive input is simplistic and pithy.

RNG hates my guts.

I’ve tried 5 or 6 times now. Usually a switch to character screen and back in does the trick, but tonight… not working. At all.

You can simply turn off notifications from any group that you are in on Facebook and check back at your leisure.

You can also set it so that you only receive notifications of your friends’ posts.

The option is on the lower right of the group’s cover photo.

I’d prefer the removal of WvW from map completion entirely. I imagine it’s a nightmare for people that only play PvE.

That is how I see it as well, Guhracie. I have a couple of new characters that I’m just not inspired to play due to the ridiculousness of the new system.

I really don’t get why the current trend seems to be repackaging this (and other aspects of the game) while making things clunky, nonsensical and less enjoyable.

UI modification discussion is so 2012. Costume skin discussion is what all the “cool kids” are doing atm. :p

On a serious note, I would love to have the ability to tweak my own UI, as we were able to in GW1. It doesn’t give anyone an “unfair” advantage in any way, shape or form. I’ve often wondered why those options weren’t implemented from the beginning.

I would love to unclutter my screen and do a little rearranging.

I’m nostalgic for the good old days of GW1 when we couldn’t wait for Factions, then Nightfall, then Eye of the North.

The Living Story, essentially superimposed upon the existing areas (Dry Top being the recent exception), hasn’t captivated me in the least. It’s okay for something new to do, but that’s about it.

I, too, am ready to pay for expansions with some engaging content.

I don’t post in here much, but whatever went wrong definitely isn’t fixed yet.

I’m seeing low res character models that with my setting on high sometimes when I wp, even in low pop places that I map into.

Before the patch, the lowest I’d go in a T1 3-way WvW fight was between 30-40, more toward the 40 side. Now it’s more like 3-4 and big fights are out of the question.

Gyre Rapids waypoint, Timberline Falls. No one around, no events going on.

I turn my character to the west, FPS stutters and dips down to 11-12, then up to 38 when it should be more in the 90-120 range. Turn to the east, it steadily increases, but only to around 58 after stuttering again.

Everywhere I go now, it’s insanely unstable in one form or another, whether in a city, a low pop pve map, EotM and WvW. :/

Wowwwww, most of these screens are really creative and amazing!!! I’m a screen junkie, and some friends of mine and I made a FB group a couple months ago for this very reason.

I just don’t understand. WvW fighting is meant to promote zerg fights because that’s the type of PvP it is. If you want small scale, they have sPvP and an area to set up GvG. The options are there for people who don’t want to fight in a conquest/army style setting.

You can’t stop a server from rallying all players on a map, or giving a shout-out in LA for extras, etc., and running in large groups.

As far as the skills go (most are complaining about warrior stuns atm), every time there is a skill update there will be adaptations to how zergs move.

Simply put, it is what it is, adapt or don’t wvw.

Yep. And not that TP Instant Trait Reset. Although made for OOC, there could be a better system whereby we can get to OOC position, pay on the fly, hit an assigned template key, load up and go.

I’d prefer that the TP offer would be a one-time thing and pay gems that way, not the way it is set up currently. :/

I’m not going to waste time listing all the reasons I didn’t like it, but I truly hope this is the first and last of “seasons.” The main issue that I saw with the meta was the insane trolling to either manipulate outcomes or get achievements.

As I put on a thread about this in general discussion, one whispered me from Defense of Shaemoor. I blocked the spammer and saw that he/she/it was in Defense of Shaemoor. It is now 6 hours later, and he/she/it is still in Defense of Shaemoor.

Additionally, my block list is growing exponentially.

You can block in WvW by typing the name into the Add/Search bar, btw.

As it was in GW1, give the option of removing the pet off of the skill bar… period.

Asuna usually only tags up at night so I don’t get to play with him tagged up much. One time I got up early, only for him to go “good! Another commander, I’m going to sleep” sniggin rackin fracking (LOL, he’s great though; very easy to work with and puts in insane hours for us)

Asuna was one of the first people I met on SoS, very friendly, and often partied me. I’m EST, so I got a lot of our morning hours in with him. You’re right about him putting in insane hours.

I’m keeping in touch, was in SoS LA the other night chatting with him.

I gotta throw in for FA’s Tyryon as well. Having spent time on DH, Ebay, SoS and FA servers and met a bunch of really good commanders, I’ve had a blast getting stuff done and laughing my butt off at the same time. Never a dull moment with that one!

Please consider implementing a way to template trait lines for or those of us that utilize multiple trait lines (similar to the build templates we had in GW1).

It really is a pain to retrait multiple characters in a transition between WvW/PvE and/or switching from WvW group builds to roaming builds.

Maybe an on-the-go payment method could be implemented for a retrait in lieu of going to the trainer.

Stack with your team. Push through opposing zerg. While pushing through, drop traps, and entangle at the back end. Turn around, barrage snared victims.

What I would like to see: an option to remove the pets from the bar.

The addition of the bonus WXP for laurels/badges is simply intended to give WvW players an additional option they can spend their laurels/badges on, it is not intended to fix any issues with alts and WxP.

We’re aware of, and actively discussing the amount of progression we’ve added through WxP and the difficulty for playing multiple characters as a result. When we make changes to help address alts/WxP rank, we’ll make sure to specifically call out the change is to help address that issue.

Just so you know, there are ton of others who enjoy the majority of these changes and are actively playing WvW to even bother posting here on the forums. It also doesn’t help that any sort of positive feedback is met with unjustified vitrol.

Have you recently played in servers ranked lower than SoR? If your answer is no, then you (and the devs) really don’t know what is being discussed within guilds, guild websites, and in /m and /s.

There are people that care enough to come here and post their concerns (trolls aside), as Luvpie did, based upon what they see/hear from others that don’t bother with the official forums.

If you haven’t been out of T1 lately, perhaps the “air up there” is causing some delirium.
