When I went to exchange my gold for gems; 3g will not even get me 100gems… now c’mon.. Isn’t that a little ridiculous? I was a little startled at 1g for 100g but im upset at how high it is now- that means alot of grinding for players who don’t use real money for non- real things.
I get bored fast if I try to get 10g in a few hours. I can imagine that someone will post “oh I can get 10g in ( ) amount of time.” that’s great that you can but maybe I can’t. Im not a hardcore player – very casual so gold comes to me at a slower rate.
I don’t use real cash for game content.
So, basically I have to spend 10g just to get a decent amount of gems? 10g?! That 10g could’ve gone to something better like – legendary gifts bought from Miyani at the mystic forge.
I guess I have to change my tactics and go to old fashioned every other MMO grinding in dungeons.
Does Arena net want this inflation? If so, I think I’ll be done with GW2 in less than 2 more months if it goes any higher.

And supposedly there should be a proverbial bulkhead between PVE and SPVP, so i don’t think the game would allow the skin of a SPVP item to be put on top of PVE stats.

Ah – yea I think you’re right about that.. I mean especially since their are PvE armors in PvP- but you know, it’ll probably never be added anyways- hopefully something similar- other than that ‘drybones’ set.
Next time they want you to ping your gear get out before you waste your time, been there done that. I’m not saying avoid pug groups, especially since that’s what you gear yourself up for BUT-It sounds like they were nitpicking you instead of being happy that you did what’s expected of you with a pug group- there’s a difference between kicking a player because they are a liability to the experienced party, and kicking because of micro managing.
- i’ve been kicked for stupid reasons, such as this- ‘not on their precise schedule’ with the TW things like that and I mean “one second too late” bs- thus why I always am party leader – in hopes to avoid things like that, so I post in LFG. I think we all have or will eventually meet the idiot pugs of Gw2.

Is it possible to transmute the PvP “masquerade armor” to PvE “unnamed armor” with lvl 80 transmute stones/crystals? Or, will it simply reform as PvE masquerade armor?

And since there is already a model for it, wouldn’t it be easy to turn it to PvE armor?
I think the new titles system is great, and I imagine more titles will be added in the future, and along with that I would love to see titles that consists of legendary crafting- to elaborate a little more -not to mean you are a legendary crafter but a crafter of legendary weapons.
Titles example: (off of the top of my head)
The Kraitkin – four heads in better than../master of serpents
Meteorlogicus – Weather know-it-all/ storm bringer
The Bifrost – Connected to the Gods/Prism

Yea, Especially since it’s your main weapon with a scepter using player – it would only be fair to add a visual buff- maybe rain droplets? or small water droplets at the feet, or small thunder clouds, or snowflakes? In my head it looks pretty.
But I don’t see why it wasn’t implemented in the first place- Unless to say “These legendaries are obviously visually more stunning that these and that’s how we want it.” OR not much thought was put into it- If a better reason was given as to why some have better effects than others- making the ‘some’ seem more legendary than the ‘others’ I mean it’s the same epic quest as another; yea, it differs in a few items – but In all they should be equal with visualization.. xD anyways, Meterologicus is still gorgeous!!
I broke down and bought a stack…. now i need another stack.. to complete something else— omg soooo much crap to collect… I do think it’s rare ive been in Orr a week and farmed there since well, arriving- and Ive gotten a total of 10 crystalline dusts… and this is from gathering the large bags and all that good mess. SO i just plan on getting enough gold to buy the stacks of whatever I need.
Each self crafted green I get a rare after I toss 4 into MF, everytime, but I noticed every time I bought 4 greens it usually came out green-
Is it better to use self crafted items? Like self crafted exotics .. I dont know to be honest. Ive been searching since March for it (the precursor) but I guess it could take a year or more to actually get it. I guess my point is Is it better to send self crafted rares/exotics in? Does that have something to do with the outcome?

1. he doesn’t need a change. The more you fight him, the more you will learn, the easier he will become, he will become the most fun boss in the game after a while.
2. what class are you? I suggest watching w/e your class is do lupi from their PoV. War, guard, thief, mes have all soloed lupi.
3. of course you’re going to fail on lupi the 1st time you try him. 3 hours on him your 1st time? sounds about right. Next time you do it you’ll kill him in about 30 mins. Ever time after that will be about 10-30 mins, depending if you wipe or not.
Im a mesmer and we had 2 other light armors, 2 ele’s one was a support and 2 guardians.
Most patient group ever but even patience couldn’t get us through.
You’re right- then first time I ran TA explorer it was a little overwhelming, but I could run it with my eyes closed anymore it seems. I don’t want to give up on this dungeon because it can be done – just need to practice more like anything I guess.

In LFG I posted that 2 of our party members had never ran the dungeon except story- me included.
Thank goodness for them being sooo patient. But it was 3 hours at lupi.
I really do not want to give up but at this rate I won’t make up the gold I lost with armor repairs.
I always mention when I am new to a dungeon and I always get kicked- so I usually form a party myself.
Ive rarely very rarely found someone who would take the time to explain things to me in a dungeon.
Being a Chef is fun!
But having to carry all the ingredients around isn’t so much- especially with not enough bank or bag slots.
I think another increase in ingredient holding slots in the bank would be super helpful.
It would be easier to just make the bags to hold them or get another bank slot, but I’d rather not spend my gold to do that since I need it for future things.
Maybe even slots to hold all ingredients for crafting – like scepter head, focus core, etc.

I miss having armor specific to your class- like in GW1.
A Mesmer and an Elementalist would not wear the same armor even though they are light armor wearers.
I am pretty much done with gathering things for my Legendary except for the Precursor I need. I’ve been after it since November.- The precursor that is.
If there was a way to maybe zoom in on the drop of precursor you need- that would be great- but implementing it with out making it too easy would be another idea.
In WvW I got a useless precursor I didn’t need and sold it but it still doesnt make finding the one I need any easier.
Waiting for the price to ‘drop’ seems easy enough when in which it will not drop in fact it will only go up.
So my only option is to keep farming I guess….

We have necros for the darkness even though light armored- they can be pretty durable if played right.
Then every Joe Shmoe would have precursors and legendaries at some point, I’m not saying I disagree since the chance of getting one at random is already stupidly low.
People who already spent a great deal of their time making the legendary would be pretty mad I imagine if this was implemented.
BUT Increased drop chance would be great.
I don’t think dungeons should be the requirement especially for people who seriously hate them. I don’t see how a feeling of accomplishment would be achieved with it becoming this easy. That’s just me though.
BUT I get your idea concept.
I think the armor available in Guild Wars 2 is great, my only complaint is that every light/medium/heavy armor can basically have the same type as another of their class.
I think it would be a great idea to have players create their own armors for the classes and genders.
With the exception of taking an already existing armor and just tweaking it.
This would be a completely new armor set and the winner(s) chosen would/could get a box set of light, medium, and heavy armor for their characters of their armor that was chosen.
Maybe have it themed such as examples below
Ancient Greek based: Having light/medium/heavy armor based around ancient Grecian themes.
Dead based: Having light/medium/heavy armor based around the idea of death and underworld.
Sky Based: Having light/medium/heavy armor based around the concept of blue sky, clouds, storms etc.
Elemental theme: Having light/medium/heavy armor based around the concept of having fire, earth, air, wind, light etc. Having ‘flame’ looking armor ’ water swirls and waves on water armor, sun related designs on light etc.
I think players would get super creative with the themes.
In all I believe it would be six total designs submitted for the female/male/classes
Have an elimination contest dwindling it down to a few entrees and have the players voting on the final winner(s)
I say ritualist, I miss them personally I used to play one and I really liked her.
Maybe even add the ‘personal’ armor style again like in gw1- where each profession had their own unique armor- but thats a different topic entirely.
I could see anyone of these professions- but I really enjoyed my ritualist and would love a revamp on the class.
Agreed, I like to WvW with my ranger but can only really do so with a party or a large group successfully. The optional pet system would be great – I don’t really rely on it, since it really only serves as a punching bag for invaders anyways
since I focus on traps and condition dmg. But I completely agree.
I think each gender needs more to the customization, personally more hairstyles for the Asura and Sylvari #1.
They have the least amount of hair choices out of the other races.
More face options for all races and genders. I really like the tree mothers/Caithe’s face- being that you can use Logan’s face for human male and Eir’s face for female norn.
What would be great to have an ‘add makeup’ option and not a specific makeup to a specific face, I may like a makeup style on one face but hate the face features.
More flower or bug like hairs for the Sylvari
moveable hair for Asura- with more options for style.
Maybe adding these features to a makeover kit like the new hair and eye colors.
There was a Sylvari I stumbled across in the Fields of Ruin with a hairstyle that isn’t available for character creation- it would be great if it was added. Since it is rather nice- it has flowers and stuff. The Sylvari’s name was Cymbel.
Maybe this has already been brought up but I’ll go ahead and say this…
I wonder why Asura and Sylvari on both genders don’t have many hairstyles to choose from, or any movement animation for Asura.
Sylvari are plants so why no flowers in their hair? I remember seeing a female Sylvari with a flower bun hairstyle. Why it was taken out completely is strange to me since it was super duper cute.
And I think a makeup/tattoo option would be great for the races other than Norn.
Makeup options being any kind of eyeshadow, blush, lipstick or gloss- and not face type restricted-this is obviously preference- but a little more never hurt.
aren’t the toymakers usually elves
and are small – so asura would fit the bill – or scritt
but a norn as the main big toymaker would be neat with the asura as his helpers
