I agree the game still needs a lots of balance. But seeing my profession running 1 build makes my heart in pain.

I’m a Warrior playing since beta.
I do both PvP and PvE equally and loved pvp all in my life.

But since these few past months, i got really sad about my profession.
In PVP all I see is copy paste warrior builds.
Typical hammer-bow, the traits which is described in the forum with the runes, with the exact rotation.

I join a pvp match then I check how many warriors does this match have.
Oh look, 4 warriors. I bet all of them are hambow with the same traits and tactic.
Then. I am right.
Everytime I meet a warrior i burst into laugh. “Look another hambow idiot try to CC me and try to kill me with the wooden bow”.
I mean,we became a joke. Is there no shame in us?

The current meta doesnt force us to use only 1 build, and only this build.
I always run with my own builds, changing it up sometimes just for fun and I still kill people, still having fun and I still can defend points.

Maybe because we have so many new players or players who think “Oh warriors are OP. I make one and kill people with it. Look Hambow build. I CTRL+V to myself lul”.
Or I don’t really know but it’s terrible that 95% of the PvP warriors are running a COPY PASTE build.

Before we got “buffed”,we were the lowest part of foodchain in PvP, everybody pwned us. I remember those days, when you really had to work for kills in those days, and everybody laughed at “oh look warrior,free kill.” sentences.
But the current state is kind of a joke now with hambow.

Maybe I’m the one who is kittening about it. But warrior profession was a really cool and awesome community. We put our axes and greatsword in everybody’s face ,rampaged through everybody with our mighty nord beard.
But we reduced now into mindless copy paste profession :\

I have no idea either.
We are still not that good in my opinion. Lots of our skills still needs to be fixed…

This is why everyone rolls warrior. It’s so passive. Just stand still and let healing signet do it’s part while you wait for hammer cooldowns. The fact that you switch weapon to Sw/Sh confused me since you hardly ever used it.

Okay but Callahan is one of the few good warriors,whom actually can face roll ppl.

I will promise that no matter how good warrior is and what build ever he uses good condi engi will come out of the fight with over 50% hp while warrior has tried to avoid getting hit for most of the time instead actually fighting back because if he did he would be dead.

Since 1 month, i meet with godkitten engineers everywhere faceroll me to death.
My healing signet gives me back like 5-10% of his dmg.
Then i get him down to 2% hp. he go invulnerable, and then water field blast 2 times, 100% hp. GJ ANET. Nerf healing signet.

Oh I dunno… stances? 10 second invulnerability to conditions not sustain enough for you? Massive amounts of stability? Permanent regen banners? Shield blocks? Warhorn removing conditions? Cleansing ire removing 3 conditions every 7 seconds? Adrenal health on top of healing signet? Did I forget to mention healing signet? 400 health per second?

Warrior is the king of sustain and most of it is braindead and automatic as well

Dear Sir.
If we might have a chance in the future to have some spvp together, i will show you how to completly own a warrior.

90% of the things you listed are mostly builds with really pitiful damage. You need to keep stress on warrior and they are done for.
Healing signet only helps them to survive longer, but not forever.

I also completly agree if something is overpowered or terrible game design, it needs to fix. I rather play a balanced game then a “Press #2 and win”. But healing signet is not the one,which need to be nerfed in our profession I think.

What we have?
OH a shield block which recharge time is like hell of a lot and we die before we can use it again.
Only source of “DEFENSE” we have is healing signet!
We have no PERMA swiftness,vigor,aegis or anything like this.
We don’t have invulnerability. we have 0 physical damage taken!

So why does people want to get rid of our sustain?

For this kind of people, i have a good story to share.
Everytime I see a warrior in spvp or WvW, I laugh my kitten out.
I really do. I look at it and say “Look at that poor guy looking threatening. OH god he have X,and Y weapon. He wants to kill me with it”
And I mostly laugh at all the tricks other warriors use me.
The longbow/hammer,axe shield. Mace stun then hundred blades.
The condition warrior, the zerker. The PVT shout warrior….

Every trick is so funny to see when they used against you.
Look at a profession which is the best thing it can do is swinging his weapons!
IN a game,where people make CLONES, become INVISIBLE , TELEPORT, EVADE 99% of the attacks , PERMA BLIND. They have more than F1. We only have F1. They have F1,f2,f3,f4,etc.

So why all this warrior hating,guys. Really. It’s just non sense.
A really good mesmer, thief and engineer can face roll everybody so much much more!

Please remove water field blasting healing from every professions.
They heal too much. Warriors cannot do it.
Why those other bullkitten professions can do it? Is it even legal do heal that much amount?
We can only heal 400 hp by that regen. They can heal lot more.
We don’t have access to such things. Remove water fields.

When i usually did dungeons , especially fractals i put up Defense 15 + regen food.
It helps out a lot to regen. Running tank as a warrior is useless [we have no aegis, etc].

I used zerker armor set with Defense 15.
Also you can use Healing signet with these so you can get better sustain in dungeons. Depends mostly what kind of dungeon are you running.

Also roll Signet of Stamina, it’s really cool to have some extra dodges at dungeons.

Axe/Shield + Longbow

Signet of Fury,Signet of Might,Bull’s charge

Everytime the mesmer try to get some distance, jump into that way too.
Try to zig zag between clones. Use longbow #3 and F1 to kill them off quickly if they bother you.

Try to use longbow #5 to immobalize them and #3, it crits around 6-8k.
If they used all their jumps use bull’s charge + shield charge + axe F1.
Then after that instantly Axe #2 and #3 (make them cripple + immobalize cuz of trait)

The main thing is to keep the pressure on them and they will lose their kitten quick.

Now there is mostly 1 build which kitten up the world.
It’s the one where the mesmer stealth 8x more like a thief.
Teleport, evades, stealth for 24 hours,etc.

Well for that, no idea what to do. It’s just broken. And ANet will never remove stealth so they just pop clones and NPC will finish you. passive play ftw.

I’m so sick about this.
I don’t enjoy pvp for a long time by now.

Spirit rangers with hordes of npcs.

Then mesmers come with infinite clones while being in stealth longer than a thief + teleporting.

Necro comes with minions. Minion attacks doesn’t have cast time / animation. Instantly charge into you, fear you, you lose your target in hordes of mobs.

All I see is I spend my 90 % time trying to kill NPCs at PvP while everybody is being in stealth (ofc everybody need to get stealth!) and I have no target to hit at all ,while npcs eating me.

PvP is not enjoyable at all. maybe some people try to struggle with it cuz they like to roll silly builds like these NPC horde builds and it feels good to them to make other angry.
But in pvp aspect this game deserve -1 from 10.

After a few weeks of break, I finally played a few PvP matches today.

And I noticed, 90% of rangers and necros are running with 934343 minions. No other build. Minion build.

Since targetting is still broken and bad, and nobody will do anything about minion abuse, players will abuse it.

This is the lowest the spvp community can go,i think. there is no lower level.

Hello dear Mesmers.

Since last bigger “patch”, I noticed about something.
Everytime mesmers use clones to attack me -> whirlwind + shatter or anything like that, my HP drops insanely.

It’s not a problem, probably they are full dmg mesmers.
But!

In the battle log, summing the damage is only 6k.
But they take more than 15k hp with these kind of things from me. In a full clone shatter / attack.

Honestly since that “death from above to 45k dmg lul” exploit, I cannot trust mesmers anymore.

But, I want to know what is this and why.
I noticed about this like 30 times now at WvW.

I just don’t see anything extra,just the basic clone skills in my face. It shows in the battle log too, but the damage I take is much much more than in battle log.

Anybody have any idea? I’m so clueless. Never really had much trouble with mesmers before. But now I am sad panda when I see one.
(Btw this post doesn’t want to be offensive or anything. I just don’t understand this thing.)

It’s not an exploit. It’s a tactic.
The mobs will respawn only if the group is wiped.

It’s a good tactic actually because the cultists hits insanely kitten later fractals.

We like how they can be tanky, and we like how they can do DPS if they want. We also like the CC they can bring. We just don’t like them doing it all with 1 build.

-3000 minion necro / rangers
-teleporting thieves and mesmers
-434843 clones per second mesmers

and other so many kitten thing in this game.
Why hate on us. WHY!
Cuz we can knockback somebody ? Look at that guardian knockback. I fly for 2kms.
Cuz we can stun somebody lulz?
Look at BASILISK VENOM, ENGI TURRETS, STATIC FIELD and other bullkitten.

We have to deal with like 4x more bullkitten by other professions in pvp/wvw.
And look at all we can do and compare it with other professions.

Nothing wrong with Warrior. Finally got sustain. Nobody’s life got ruined.

I didn’t see anybody at jumping puzzles honestly when I checked out for this purpose.
And I only seen group of 3 ppl capping bloodlusts.
So still, something feels not all right.

The queues are surely doesn’t work at all.

Currently, every borderlands I join, i have to wait 30+ mins to get in.
I finally get in,to see that we have MAXIMUM 25 ppl on the whole borderland.
25!
And both enemies have 90+.

Why. We. Have Queue?
How is this balanced / work / why is this even in the game / what is this.

So basically even if we could get 60 ppl inside, we cannot get,because even the 26th ppl who would join us have to wait half hours or hours to enter.
While the enemy can freely roam with 90-100+ ppl around lagging the whole server to death.

I’m afraid if I post this to the bugs forum,nobody would care.
At here at least will have some attention.

And this is not the first day when it happens.

GW2 PVP. SO GOOD.
Every godkitten necro at pvp is minion necro. kitten kitten kitten it. kitten it all to kitten.

No chest reward after win in arena (sPvP).

Mesmers kills me without damaging my max hp.
In battlelog at WvW i still would have 10k hp. Yet I’m dead.

at sPvP the battle log’s damage sums up for 14k, when I have 21k hp.

They using exploits again ._. as they stayed silent about Chaos Storm.

I used that yes. Hm I see.

But what about survivability?
Now mesmers eats me alive in 2 seconds.
Before this, I eat mesmers alive easily. Same happens with elementalist.
I has sadness.

I might stop eating those weird mushrooms which those Asuran warriors giving to me at WvW.. hm.

But for just in case I will try to test out a few things about traits at the weekend to see which could cause all this.
