Just to be not completely ot:

@ [XxX]: Are you guys staying or are you still looking for ‘the one server to stay’? If I remember right you just recently tranfered, or?

At our main events we are often 30+, but our events are mostely open and therefore a lot of randoms follow our leader. The tower was really tough and after those fights on the open field or inside hills it was only fair to get stomped too xD

Look at all that siege they’re using to siege cap us.

1. Picture: Yeah and because it’s a saboteur he builds all those weapons at usefull places and not beside the ressources. facepalm

2. Picture: There are also people who build this to improve their wvw-achievements.

And you think JS would attack AM-BL when they got huge problems on their own BL? (Btw they often did attack AM.. but sometimes even we are defending our stuff..)
The last 7 hours on JS-BL every fight at a keep was between all three servers and not just two… it’s nothing special anymore to attack simultaniously.

I hope you noticed that AM is constantly pressing JS quite hard on their BL. Durin the Reset we held 66% of JS and let AG completely alone. So please stop with commants like we double team on AG.

What do you want to argue about? We easily won before the transfers.. thats a fact. Now you are stronger and therefore won yourself. So what do you want to tell me? I’m confused.

We already got our wins against JS and our wins against AG before kiss joined. Therefore we don’t feel preasured to show our strengh xD

Like always we lead the reset.. lets see what comes this week. We all know now that JS numbers are huge and we will try to press JS more.

@ Starfall, the best guilds do not have a backline, and if you try to flank them, they will simple turn and run over you. Though what you say is true, when they have a backline, simply portal on it and try to kill them quickly. One thing to note is that Portal is nerfed to 20 people limit. So if you have more than that or having pugs running with you, you should watch out

I answered what OP postet.. he was talking about a guard-frontline and DD’s behind.. therefore the portal (!20 people limit!). I think portal will even work if there is no backline.. just because you didn’t have to walk through the AoE and the enemy has to react to you being within them.

There are sure a lot of tactic a good guildgroup could use, but OP’s situation seems like he was inside a random zerg.. therefore it need ‘easy tactics’.

Easiest way to conter this group is a mesmer portal behind those guard and if you are against a portal you might try to flanc the group. Facing them from the front is useless. Guards are a really good ‘first line’ if they have a lot of AoE behind them.

We play against each other the 6th week now.. we never noticed you getting less, but this week your numbers are sometimes intimidating ^^

The rendering issue is ridiculous….
Expecting the JS zerg at our main keep, so I took to upper cannon to shoot down the water gate. Then I saw one JS commander and start shooting at him.. after 4 hits I notice that he got healed a lot and started wondering.. I also noticed a lot of aoe-sparcle down there.. but whenever I shoot I just got one dmg-number.

I came to the conclusion that there must be more than one Commander.. hell yeah.. so I started shooting everywhere, especially near the gate. I never got more than 3 numbers and mostly hit nothing near the gate. After 1 minute the gate was open und I stared in shock when I finally saw 60 people, 2 omegas and some alphas comming to the inner gate.

Just my little story to show how kittened up the kitten rendering is! We managed to hold the keep though, but lost nearly everything else up to now.

Like you see week after week AM is ‘celebrating’ the reset quite big. Therefore a lot of people rest or sleep friday, while servers like JS just seem to wake up after thursday ^^
The fact that it makes absolutely no difference if you get 1st or 3rd (as long as the points are close together) won’t help either.

But still.. I don’t get why it is sometimes that empty ^^

It would be so much more fun if you would see the enemy/ally…

It sucks for all of us.. the zerg that knows another zerg is ahead mostly wins.. the zerg that noticises the enemy zerg when it is already inside the own one looses.

I figured it was the guild that changes servers like underware.. and I’m calm ^^
But wait.. it wasn’t KISS.. we don’t want to get as low as Omnaris.. it was just Omnaris und noone else from Aurora.

So you name 8 guilds and accuse the whole server of consisting of lots and lots of cheaters because someone placed a katapult where you didn’t want it to be placed? If just this katapult was the reason AM took a keep.. then they would also be able to take it with a kata placed on moon >.>

If it wouldn’t be so sad I would laugh for every time someone accuses an enemy for cheating because he just didn’t get how they did it. Be it Mesmers, sneak attacks, Zerg-rush or whatever..

I wonder how often we lost t3 Bay and Hill because of a synchron attack of our enemies. Just hope Gandara will drive AR off our BL. We want to work on 2nd place tomorrow. I’m off for today. hf&gl

Noticed XxX on AM BL now.. looked like a normal guildgroup to me. Lucky Gandara gets help and stuff xD Like you need it.. ^^

If the others, mostly pugs, don’t actually stand in front of the closed gates noone really knows that those got cheatet. So you can’t reproach them for defending them 10min later. PRO isn’t bragging with their ‘victories’.

If a nothern tower would be capped without my knowledge I might think about a sneak-attack, another guild-group that switched server after their capture but cheating wouldn’t be the thirst thought. It would just be my first thought if the attack symbol would be there for just a few moments, what would indicate that there was no fight at the gate/wall. But how many pugs keep an actual eye on the map regularly?

Edit: If there is a Army or [DP] raid at this map during that time I think nobody would be offended if you write me or egalon IGM and then we could convince the pugs to let the keep fall.

Like I edited my post: I got two essential points within the post wrong (because I’m not that fluent in english). I therefore want to apologize to those who got offended by my last post.

I’ll keep it low the last two days and I already want to conglatulate GA for the earned victory. I think the first place is settled already (would be really bad if the actions of [PRO] would take you the first place).

Again [pro] inside fully upgraded Greenlake tower in the lords room, we manage to save it, 2 minutes later same individuals are inside Askalion Hills lords room. It also get’s interrupted. Another minute later same thing again inside Greenlake tower and this time Greenlake gets capped. All fully upgraded.

Don’t get why ANet is failing so hard removing those players.

The problem aren’t the points I think.. you guys are recapping so it doesn’t sum up that much. The upgrades you pay hurt.. and that I’m sorry for.

The [PRO] stuff seems legit.. I just wanted to say that not everyone who shouts “hack” is right. This thread lately looks like all hackers united against Gandara…
Beside all those right accusations (right written?) there are always those that aren’t.
And again.. noone I asked every saw [PRO] on AM.. maybe someone, of a previous match, is mad at you and now trolls you through our server.

To add another hack to the list Gandara (us) was just attacking a garrison owned by Augury Rock and i assume AR but could have been AM had a guy actually inside the terrain of the water gate cliff and was using the mesmer AOE pull to knock us all off the cliff and wipe.

Couldnt attack him or target him and could only just see his name poking up through the ground.

now you are getting a little bit paranoid… hack because a mesmer used his pull?
If I understand right the guy was inside the wall? You know how often I got stuck inside a wall, stone etc? Not everything is a hack.. I also bet half of the “cheated inside a keep” is just a Mesmer who waited for over 15min.

I also want to mention again that most of the irrational stuff comes from AR.. the prolem, for us, is that you profit from that too ^^ I wanted to film our raids so often.. but my laptop is crap.. there were so many funny incidents xD

But on the other hand.. the fights at our main keep was one of the best I ever had. Noone thought we would keep it. Then when we pushed GA out south into the water (after your 2 or 3 attack), I jokingly said “I bet AR is waiting there for Gandara to leave to attack the south gate after them”. Then when you guys swam away there was really a 30+ AR zerg waiting there. Also one of my best “wtf moments” so far xD

I didn’t say that ^^ I think we misread each other a lot. I never said I think you are working together.. the oppisit I said. You seem to don’t really get what I mean.

I know that every servers get into 2on1 situations. I know it’s easy to break into newly turned keeps. I know it’s nice to watch the other two servers fight and then jump into the fight when it’s about to turn a tower/keep.

What you don’t get is the feeling I have towards you ‘tactic’.

Nearly in every match we fought up to now AM was 2nd place.. so we got attacked by 1st (because we shouldn’t catch up) and we got attacked by 3rd (because they wanted atleast 2nd). This week we are 3rd… but all we have the time/the manpower to do is fighting you both off in our BL and EB. Both your servers are 2k points appart.. and that for 3 days now… all I don’t get… and this is what I talk about the whole time .. is why you don’t fokus each other more?

When I see that the half of Gandara belongs to Augury and Augury lost nearly there whole BL to Gandara.. why do we have 2×50+ zergs on AM? It doesn’t make the gap between AR and GA bigger if you keep AM small.. thats why there are just 2k difference between you. That is what I would like to get explained. The other stuff like the coincidentes with rotating in attacking our garrison (I’m so proud of AM succesfully defending it the whole time) aren’t that important.

Again… I never said you are working together.. I’m just questioning your tactics or.. I’m asking if I don’t see something right. I’m always one to camp the english threads and have a nice chat with the enemy.. but I never come to accuse someone.

Xericor: No one (or just me) wont speak down your success, but I wonder, how a server that got smacked down the last week ( and I played a lot the last match) even when they started an operation (or what you called this) and hardly didnt cap a single tower is able to turn about 180° and dominates that hard they can skip a tier.

Would really like to fight you again to see it by myself if you really improved that hard.

Have to correct you. We fought AG 2 times so far. The last time 2 weeks ago. AG was clearly better the second match and that although AM already improved between the matches.

On the other hand your new guilds make a really big differnece. Let’s see if you guys really skip us or if we meet again. Our match this week is really hard and we feel lonely.. so many 2on1 situations xD

This makes no sense to me.. what do you mean? Btw. we are AM.. we won’t really attack our BL.
Again.. while we have to keep AR out of garrison you attack a nothern tower. Not before.. not after.. always while we have to be somewhere you attack and vice versa for AR. This would be absolutely understandable if we wouldn’t be third place with 100-180 ticks but because we are it just showes that both (GA and AR) are afraid of facing us alone.

The whole weekend and today our groups nearly never got wiped and we wipe enemy zergs close to every 10 minutes.. especially if they both come in 10min rotation to our main keep… I had a hard time looting. But we are third place because we can’t fight of 2-3 zergs as big as our whole group and both your servers are ‘exploiting’ this to the max.

You always say AM has the same or even more numbers.. thats just not true. You just see, when zergs meet, that we are the same number or sometimes more.. but you forget that we are mostly just on 2 maps.. sometimes three… and our BL are constantly under siege from both servers.

Did you even witness what happened the last 3 hours at our keep? I’m willing to discribe which server how often and where attacked there… and that while both your own BL looked really bad for you. Do both your servers always have full BL?

I believe that but those coincidences are so freaking insane!!
Just 30 sec ago we threw you out of our keep… to the south gate.. while we pushed you we jokingly said: “I bet the aurury are waiting there untill the gandara are gone”

And then… we pushed Gandara to the water… Gandara fled and Augury started pushing the keep… sorry guys… we just don’t get it anymore.

We have never seen any PRO guys.. don’t know if they just recently transfered. We’ll watch out for them and you keep reporting hope they are gone soon.

We aren’t on your borderland because withing 5 minutes a 40+ Gandara zerg and a now 50+ augury zerg are pressing us. I don’t know what you do.. but isn’t it funny for you too, to see the other zerg appearing whenever you press us?

Was really hard to def bay and garrison with 40 people.. so.. south and garrison lost.. and then gandara left.. yay lol

Edit2: Again perfecly 2vs1 although we are last… you are really my heros… instead of capping all the augur stuff on AM-BL (because they are with 50+ in the north of our keep) you attack the south of our keep. Instead of taking 50 points from france you both work together to take 35 from us.

The first thing was that you both held 100% of your borderlands and we got sandwiched on our own.. we ticked with 80 points there. Problem was that our BL was full with pugs when we started our raid. So while you both were on our BL your towers and keep got upgreated even more.. none of your servers even tried to take down the other one.. although there weren’t even 2k points between you.

Then we started raiding and switched between AR and GA depending on the situation. Whenever we took a tower/keep from GA a AR zerg was instantly there to recap it and vice versa. It was just impossible for us to make more points.. either we deffed the new thing or we lost it while taking a new one… really frustrating.

Then when we took GAs garrison we underestimated your numbers at the bridge leading to the lord. On the second attampt wie got you guys.. then suddenly AR was there with you.. then you both died/left. 1 Minute later GA was at the gate and AR was at the wall.

Then all those moment when we saw that something gets attacked on another BL and we thought “yeah kitten . Gandara is recapping there kitten but we can’t leave” just to see “oh.. AR took it… although they have nearly lost there whole BL to Gandara”

It was a really really strange night and if you would have seen it the way we did.. you would feel confused too ^^ Gandara is really lucky that AR somehow seems to have no sense of tactic.. neither in siege nor in terms of steeling you points to get first place.

Just the way we saw it tonight.. we know you saw it in a different kind of way ^^

@Tortun: Yeah it was a pity you instantly got inside the outer circle.. but we left bay because of that.. your huge numbers.. it would have been a long fight and we still might loose the bay. So we took the Golems and tried our luck somewhere else. Thats what I ment before.. either def a point that brings us 35 more (80+35=not enough) or try to get land somewhere else.

What GA and AR did from 21-01 today… we just couldn’t stop shaking our heads. Mainly ARs ‘tactic’ was confusing us and we now have to assume AR and some GA are quite the cowards. Just attacking recently turned keeps instead of attacking those objectives that needed to be turned.

The ammount of times we ran somewhere and where awaited by both GA and AR was also more than funny ^^ After 1:00 we finally managed to imprive again.. from 80 per tick to 320 now.

Pitty we couldn’t turn Gandaras main keep. Wish you guys a good night and sweet dreams

We don’t have ‘the numbers’.. we just do on reset-night cause it’s a event on our server and everyone knows about it. Because of that we dominated saturday night.
After that we got steamrolled (no complain there.. we had the most points so it was understandable) and now we try to keep up with you.. we try really hard.

But I remeber the last time we faced Gandara… the weekend looked good and from monday on it got worse xD

Had a nice time on AR-BL with AM and Bessie-Lovers splitting the blue Map. We just hoped you wouldn’t be that much when we opened the north-western gate at AR-garrison ^^

We all know AM is the weakest server in this match but we improved a lot the last weeks and therefore we will give you a hard time.

To Gandara and Augury… hope you realice the longer you leave each other alone the harder it gets to take keeps/towers (I’m jealouse because of your portpoints). But we are happy you think our borderland is the most pretty BL xD We think that too!

The restart was really nice and we saw again what would be possible if we could keep up the numbers and raidleads we got during reset. We also saw again what happens when our people go to bed.. i fear it will be like that the whole week.. waking up and recapping the whole BL first.

I know. It wasn’t compared to you, but to JS. We often face huge numbers and also notice JS press other BL too. We are actually quite proud that we still lead, because (in our opinion) it’s just because we worked together very well a lot recently.

I would LOVE to see the AM server fix the guild SK Straumkrafen or something like that to tell them to stop do alt+f4, had LOADS of them do it at the bay in AG borderland now

I know SK.. but it’s a rather small guild, atleast in WvW. I might mention your concern, but I think we/you should just ignore it. I never understood whats the use… change a few copper repair against a lot of loading screens to come back.. makes no sense to me.

In the german forum nobody wrote something about you guys exploiting and I also heared nothing about it. So it should be noone from AM.

We were quite proud of our restart and it was a lot of fun, but we already see that Jade just got a different amount of numbers. With more people AM would really rule I think xD

Either way.. our main task this week will be keeping Jade small. Aurora needs to decide for themselfes what they do Wish you good luck and have fun!

I’m quite surprised both our servers have managed to keep Abaddon from owning the map fully, boy they do love their siege weapons that seems to come out of every orifice and their numbers as well, quite a few times I’ve felt like road kill.

We feel quite the same. In our eyes Gandara has a lot more players on during prime-time and during the night (when we got no raid that ownes the night). You also seem to love your sieges.. what we found when we capped the full upgrated main keep on your borderland.. kitten . I think 50 sieges aren’t enough.

The reason, in our eyes, why Gandara isn’t already in front of AM is because we focus just on you guys and hope Aurora will get the hint and cap something… sometimes they do and sometimes the fall in our back xD

I really enjoy the fight and especially this night was so much fun… I’m completely dead. First Gandara was resisting everywhere and then after Gandara went to bed and we pushed them below 100 Points Aurora just got active and got most of the points… now we are leading a bit again. But it was a succesfull raid and we will do anything to stay first

GH isnt going to catch up, if AM manages to catch up with Piken this week Ill donate them a nice Omega Siege Golem.

75k Points between PS and AM ; 83k Points between AM and GH… so we cought up with PS more. I would say we did it xD So where can I get the Omega?

Long night, fun to fight!
Funny night although Piken seemed to stop playing. Also got some points out of this long raid.

I didn’t complain. I just stated a fakt. AM is happy as it is and I’m in a quite good WvW-Guild although it’s not only WvW. I just wanted to show flamers why we are using the portl ^^ But I guess this diskussion is finished.. atleast for today ^^

Thanks to those who argued friendly.. I always enjoy that.

You are absolutely right that AM get’s back to turteling a lot when facing bigger or equal groups. But again.. unlike Piken we have nearly no guilds who can create own raids. We organice through a TS that is open for everyone. So our raids consist mostly of 50% ‘veterans’ and the rest are occasional players and absolutely new WvW-Player.

So what tactic do you recomend? Which tactics aren’t cheap, that is easilly to explain for new/unused WvW-Players?

I’m really open for pikens pro-tactic and if you explain it easy enough I might try to introduce AM to them. But shouting “cheat” “cheap” “poor” and “disgraceful” without naming alternatives is poor itself. Believe me we would also often really like to run around with big guild groups where you know each name, his class, if he got blueprints or not etc.. but our raidlears are working with what they got.. and just running around aimless and getting whiped by BOON isn’t what pugs really enjoy.
