Update: Going on the third day since I replied to my email letting support know the items never showed up in my in-game mailbox and still haven’t heard anything back. Ive checked all possible locations but considering my email is a thread, it would most likely show up in the thread on reply.
Yes I did check all possible sections of my email and never received a reply. I just found it odd that I was told the items were already sent to me and would be in my in-game mailbox but never actually received them. Still no reply today at all so I guess Ill just wait and see if I hear anything tomorrow.
I submitted a ticket yesterday about some deleted items and was pleased to hear that I would be able to retrieve said items. I received an email back saying to check my mailbox for the items, they would be there.
I checked my mailbox and never received anything. I waited overnight thinking it may be a delay issue and still nothing. I replied last night letting support know about the situation and they havent gotten back to me yet today so I was just wondering if maybe they closed the ticket and wouldn’t receive my emails about not receiving the items, thats why Im posting here.
Is this team arena? If it’s solo arena I would say it was just a coincidence, but team arena can still produce matches like this. The only fix is to make you wait longer or require a full team when queuing.
How is this a coincidence? It solo que and I thought you fixed matchmaking to balance out mmr. This happens more than not.
Maby cause you are one of this mesmers who run far all day and dont understand they make their own team fight outnumbered in mid? So Your team got kitten d in mid and so 3 come to far cause they hade to fight 3v4 or something?

My team was the only team outnumbering them at the team fights. The 3v1 happened after they respawned. The problem is that even in a 4v2 my team couldnt win nor did they even attempt to cap a point. I shouldnt have to support my team in a 4v2. L2notassume.
For all of you out there giving me advice at the 3 at far situation, you dont actually know the full story. I went far after killing two of them at mid while my team was fighting 4v2 off point at home and I had a portal at far already so I ported there after decapping mid hoping to wipe the one guy bunking there before the other two respawn. I ended up capping far (which was already decapped from earlier because the bunker was trying to kill svanir) while one of the two guys they were fighting off point near chief went back mid, capped mid and returned home.
This is bs. Ive only played 5 games since the reset but every single game so far my team seems to have 3-4 low ranked players while the other team has one maybe two.
Three times in the last week Ive had to explain to low rank players that unranked servers exist and that they can play those without waiting for the arena matches to pop.
Anet please either put a minimum rank on the arenas or at least make the low rank guys play a minimum amount of matches in hotjoin before being able to Q for arena. 90% of the time they dont even know they are in ranked matches.
I think Im going to l2wvw until I find a permanent team. Soloq was my baby once, but now its just disappointing.
Those two level 1s sat on point while I fought 2v1 right in front of them and when I got one of the guys down the other got me down and they didnt try to stomp or res or help, they sat there watching. Once the second guy stomped me out they proceeded to walk towards the other two and slaughter them. PLEASE MAKE A MINIMUM LEVEL BEFORE BEING ABLE TO Q FOR ARENA.
I just went through my email and Im assuming I deleted any email related to the ticket so unless there is somewhere else I can look I doubt Ill find the number and it was about a month ago. I bought gems and converted them to gold so I could buy the super greatsword skin and the super focus skin to convert to pvp but because they were equipped in pvp, when I was in pve it appeared that all my items were cleared off that character so I deleted it to make room for a new character I wanted to play, not realizing my weapons were actually on him.
I had only been playing for a month at the time so I never knew that was how it worked and wasted my money.
I accidently deleted some expensive items as well because of the way the pvp items dont show up on your characters if they are in pve and I was told there was nothing they could do. I even purchased a ton of gems to convert to gold to do it too. Thanks a lot.
Reward for total wins makes sense. It shows how dedicated you were even in a flawed system. I never synced and am at nearly 600+ wins in soloQ and it was extremely frustrating and difficult to maintain my sanity throughout those wins.
Instead of rewarding top rank on the leaderboards why not reward top wins in total? 400 or 500+ wins on soloq is hell to get to and I think we should get rewarded for that. Seriously if you have 500+ wins in soloq, youre a champ for sticking with a terrible system for so long.
Its a typical l2p issue. Anyone that complains about having to retarget is lazy, and probably plays hotjoins for the most part. Reapplying targets is extremely easy and its the whole point of the mechanic. Look at two equally skilled players, one a thief and one of any other class and you’ll see the thief loses the majority of the time. Stop crying about thieves, these endless topics on them was kind of cute at first but now I actually think you guys are serious. QQ
I’ve explained my points and you’re not reading them. I have no issues with thieves. But I’m not going to repeat it 1000 times. Also 2v2 Champ here last fight was against Caed (Thief) and Tany (Spirit ranger), I have no issues with fighting thieves. I just said they don’t fit the game’s mold.
Okay youre right. Considering playing a thief (close with engi) is the most difficult class to play it should be removed and they should give us another class that is extremely easy. Id like to request more AI heavy classes anetplz. Thief too hard give us more classes that require a low skill cap.

Unfortunately I’d be for that, not because of stealth. The design overall just doesn’t fit the game…
- No cooldowns on weapons.
- Spammable.
- Most gimmicky possible builds.
- Too heavy reliance on evades.
- A lot of stealth
basically anything that could throw the game’s realistic balance out of whack. For the most parts most classes balance comes down to numbers (stun times/cooldowns and damage/healing ratios), but thieves don’t fit that mold one bit, and it legitimately does cause issues with the game. Its hard to believe people can not see that. I don’t hate thieves, they just don’t fit.
LOL if you spam anything youll be out of initiative and not be able to use a single ability except auto attack. Lots of stealth? Only if youre spec’d for it and if you are, you arent doing much of anything for your team. Most reliance on evades? You can spec for that but its not difficult to hit a thief between evades while hes not doing any damage because hes well….evading. Perm stealth and evades builds are used by trolls and low skill thieves and they are both useless builds that lose most matches for your team. Again l2p issue.

Fortus, make a thief and try to do what youre saying thieves are doing right now to ANY class. You might get lucky and land one backstab but unless youre running a build designed to hit a backstab for 9k youll be lucky to hit for 6k, and if you are running a backstab build and you land the 9k backstab, your opponent if hes any good will heal and 2 shot you.
Backstab is such a joke and a guardian complaining?! Thats one of the if not the most difficult class to beat in a 1v1 (if youre any good)
You must be playing hotjoin when this is happening to you, because if youre getting backstabbed every 4 seconds by a thief for 9k in s/t ques, my heart goes out to your teammates.
I dont understand why the person with the highest mmr isnt placed on blue while the second highest mmr is placed on red, third on blue, fourth on red ect. No matter the population that will always work and it seems the most fair imo.
Not only will the matches be closer and que times shorter but because teams will be balanced the newer guys will get to play with good players and against good players allowing them to learn properly. Now if you have a low mmr its more than likely you play with low mmr people and against high mmr people.

Pretty sure I transferred my witchhunter from badlands to whatever server you were on just to duel you. If you were the witchhunter or witchelf, cant remember which.
I have an I5 3570k, MSI GTX 770 Lightning, 16GB ram, and play on a 1TB HDD and I get around 190FPS on ultra settings in PVP and about 98-110 in Lions arch so it doesnt make sense that youre having these issues.

For example: Getting hit by thieves from stealth for 12 k (backstab), while being in full “defensive gear” (2840 armor) as engi is imo absurd. I cant imagine what he would hit me for if i was in zerker gear. 1 shot maybe?
What? the max a thief bs can hit me when I run a full glass cannon spec in sPvP is 10k and only if the thief is running a 25 30 x x x build with 10+ stack of might + assassin signet and if critical attack. That thief has 14k hp and has to use at least 2 out of 3 utilities and hope that everything goes well.
When I run a full tankish build with 3k armor, I see 5k BS at best.
Show some proofs of those 12k BS and link your build.
I guarantee you that I could backstab you for more than 5k easy lol. I was testing googles build out the other day and I backstabbed a bunker guardian for 9k without fire proc, might stack or vuln.

As most of us know, when you reach the top 100, unless you get extremely lucky and find yourself on the stacked team, you’ll likely lose over and over until your rank drops.
Once your rank drops, you’ll find yourself on the teams with players that would rather fight off point and rush each node together to farm glory. You cant enjoy this game in soloq unless you’re lucky, or already top of the leaderboards.
Ive had a very similar experience. I fluctuate between top 100 to top 500. I dont usually fall below top 500 but every single time I get in the top 300, I always find myself up against 4 or 5 top 25 players and on occasion one random with 4 of them, while everyone on my team is in the 200-500 rating. Now the other issue is a lot of the time my teammates are top 200 BUT they only have 20 or so games played and just got a few lucky wins, so they still arent experienced and dont rotate properly.
Im pretty sure its impossible to get out of the top 200 unless you got extremely lucky with a couple match ups.
Why not just fine us gold for leaving a pvp match or staying in base? 15 gold to start and each time you do it, it increases by whatever amount and then each week it resets?
Giving away free candy corn and trick or treat bags for participation. I’ve now had 5 games in a row with an afker just sitting at our base collecting the new free stuff as long as youre in a match and lose. Maybe if you only got it for winning it would be cool, but now people just bot the matches and its no fun. I wont be queing anymore until something gets changed.
Not even going to mention my rank because I could have glory farmed.
I main an Engi, Warrior and Mesmer, if thats possible. I prefer my condi warrior at the moment but play an exceptional hybrid engineer.
I can play whenever you want me to. I am only interested in teams that are serious and organized.
18+ only please. Unless of course you’re a highschool drop out and play too much.
That would be why there was a second option, and some people might not mind if the reward is decent.

What if instead of trying to stop the 4v5’s we give the other team a chance to have one of their players back out and whoever decides to leave the match (only one can leave obviously) will get some kind of reward, making it a fair 4v4. If no one wants to leave, the other team with 4 should get a bonus if they can make it to a set amount of points before the end of the game. Just a random idea I had while sitting at the beach.
People that complain about imbalance and builds and certain classes being OP should be focusing on practicing more and learning the game a little better. I play a Mesmer, Warrior, Thief, Engineer and Elementalist all about the same amount and I can say for a fact that I can kill any build on any class on any of those characters, depending on the player. D/D Ele’s are extremely fun and if played right are very strong. If anything the warrior is one of the easiest classes to kill considering they only do decent damage when youre stunned and their stuns are extremely easy to avoid.
Stop QQing about “OP builds and classes” and practice some more.
If youre afk during a match that you qued for, you should have your account disabled from queing for 6 hours and if you do it again within 48 hours, your account will be disabled for 24 hours.
Hammer warriors do the most damage when youve been stunned. The good thing about hammer warriors is the stun is very very slow and obvious (both the f1 stun and the 5 stun). As long as you watch and time your dodges appropriately, hammer warriors are pretty weak. +Blink
So youd prefer a rank 35+ guy that farmed his rank over a level 20 that actually pvp’d?
Careful what you ask for. You could have a team of level 60+ that has no idea what theyre doing.
When I was top 100 I was getting matched with the top players and it was a lot of fun. Regardless if the teams were stacked more on one side. Now that Im in the 900s again because of afk losses, my teams are SO bad that they never know what to do and think they are only there for gold.
The leaderboards mean everything. They decide who ques with who. If youre in a percentile, you get qued with people that dont care or dont know what they are doing and you’ll find it extremely difficult to make it up to the point where you can play with players that know what they are doing. Basically if youre ranked low, you have little fun.
I dont usually get frustrated but this is by far the most frustrating pvp game Ive ever played. I miss warhammer.
I just got out of a match where 3 of my teammates sat at Raven trying to kill a bunker guardian for the ENTIRE match while they left two of us trying to defend the orb/cap wolf and bear. I kept typing in team chat to get off raven because they arent doing ANYTHING literally, anything and they wouldnt do it because “they wanted to test their abilities at killing a bunker”. After the match of course I rage PM’d them, got ignored by 2 and the third guy told me he likes to que for tourneys so he can make gold. QQ Solo Q used to be fun when I was in the top 200 but after losing 6 matches in a row because of afker’s Im stuck in the % again and cant get out of it because I keep getting matched with the biggest idiots 90% of the time.
