I never understood why some people can enjoy something only when others can’t have it.

Some people gain pleasure in making other people jealous (I’m sure there’s a word for this), I believe it also may have something to do with low self-esteem/emotional issues.

I also think selfishness plays a part in it too.

I sort of agree and disagree with this suggestion, I personally don’t care what stats others in the party use you wanna run soldiers, fine. What I don’t like is when a pug is wearing subpar armour/weapons for example doing a lvl 78 dungeon wearing lvl 20 gear, I find that way too many players using the lfg just want to be carried through the dungeon, Arenanet should never add a way for a player to see other players gear but the lfg should have a built in gear lvl check. Meaning to do a lvl 78 dungeon you have to be wearing at least lvl 78 gear.

I was going cold turkey and I started to get the shakes I got really desperate and took a second mortgage out on my home and spent everything on trick or treat bags trying to get a gwynefyrdd, Now I am completely broke and I can’t feed my 12 kids, I even sold one of my kids to fund my addiction even more, I don’t know what to do anymore.

Hi Chris, Thanks for the responses, It’s really nice seeing more dev coverage on the forums, I don’t think it always has to be the main devs themselves commenting on posts all day whenever they have free time, Sort of like that other person was suggesting, that isn’t really fair. I was hoping we could see more of the community managers on the forums, I know there’s the french community manager called Stéphane Lo Presti. I’m not sure if he has counter-parts for NA etc but if he does I’ve never seen any posts from them in 2 years. I think it was Gaile Grey in gw1, what about creating one for gw2 if there is none.

Vayne I don’t think we hate you, We just find it annoying that you always argue with us for every criticism of gw2 we have, We don’t know if you are trying to troll us or if you genuinely believe that gw2 is perfect with absolutely no faults. The criticism isn’t us having a cheap shot at arenanet, We are just trying to get them to improve the game.

Am now actively looking for an alternative to GW2. Sad, really.

Archeage is a question mark, ESO is abysmal, Wildstar I won’t touch…and I’ll never go back to WoW.

Try going without an MMO for a while, I’m trying out the walking dead season 2
and maybe some Dota 2 or League.

I stopped playing gw2 about 3 months ago, I started playing league of legends about 2 months ago, its really fun when you get into it, I suggest you play co-op until lvl 20 then pvp, its very addictive. I did try dota 2 the graphics are amazing by far the best of any moba, but the mechanics are a bit tricky to get used to. I’m gonna stick with LoL until I get bored then probably move to dota2. As for mmo’s there isn’t any out there at the moment that interest me tried quite a few, Bless and black desert do look interesting though.

I haven’t tried it but I heard its kind of like a modern day guild wars 1 where you have lots of skills and you choose what ones you want on your skill bar, I think I might give it a try see what its like.

What about starting up the Suggestion Section on the forums again.

I thought the suggestion forums were taken down because most suggestions there got lost. Like a dungeon suggestion, which would benefit the dungeon forum, never saw the light of day there.

It makes more sense to post suggestions in the relevant forums, so devs who work in those areas are more likely to read them.

If that was the real reason they removed the suggestion section It didn’t make everyone start writing their suggestions in the “relevant forums” It just made them start writing suggestions in the “general discussion” section where they get mixed up with every other random subject.

What about starting up the Suggestion Section on the forums again.

Thats not a bad idea, and they could also merge all the tiers, buff up all the bosses and make them all champs that drop new types of loot bags that can drop very nice exclusive wep skins, but i think this would be better for the permanent version of the queens gauntlet, for this temp LS version they need to add DR to the gauntlet bags.

How about nerfing the number of times you can die to one boss by just closing the game?

So you’re saying you can beat liadri round after round without dying or do you mean you can beat a much lesser boss that dies pretty fast and is easy to counter in quick succession? hmmm. The gauntlet was not designed for farming, It was designed for players to challenge different bosses and improve their skill in battle, I guess you are probably just upset because sometimes a genuine player will come along to fight liadri and slow down your farm but there is no need to be ignorant and fatuous about it.

I was just in the cursed shore there and my god there was the biggest zerg i have ever seen in pve doing something i have just discovered called the ember farm at the bottom, I mean there must of been atleast 300 players in one small spot, someone there even remarked “man this zerg is so big we are going to block out the sun” the whole time i was there my frame rate never went above 8fps, i normally get 45-60, Please make the wvw quality settings apply to pve also since we are now seeing alot more zergs in pve.

I have experienced this myself, gauntlet farmers not ressing you and ignoring you, I think arenanet should nerf the rewards or put a limit on how many you can get per day.

I have been trying everyday for a week now to get liadri, I suck i know, I have heard that the queens quantlet is returning in the future, Will it be possible to get the liadri achievement and mini when it returns or if i fail to get it before the queens jubilee is over i will never be able get it?

I have noticed that cc from mobs below the arena can sometimes affect you also those ‘Searing Crystals’ below always get me when i’m in the arena.

I think the perfect title would be simply “The Queens Gauntlet” a play on the title “the kings hand” from the game of thrones.

Hey i’ve been playing the pavilion, Think its all pretty good except for the effect the zerg has on my performance what about if you changed the ‘WvW Character Limit/Quality Settings’ under grapthic settings to just ‘Charecter Limit/Quality Settings’ and have it applied everywhere pve, spvp and wvw

Would it be possible in the future to have unique icons for each weapon, noticed that a lot have the generic icon, some examples – dusk, dhuumseal, ebonblade and volcanus

Anet please make so that until the end of the dragon bash event you can run over to the centre of the grand piazza and enter an instance to view the fireworks to get the achievement and helm, this would be a very nice gesture for those who couldn’t get it due to bugs/overflow issues and who were away for a few days during fathers day, You’d make a lot of people happy if you did this. I’m sure it wouldn’t be that difficult to implement.

Really do hope they add the ability to get the dragon helm again on the last day of the event or something, I mean some people were able to get it before the fireworks display due to a bug/glitch.
