i support this idea. It’s annoying when I accidentally aggro yellows when fighting something else.
-NaughtyProwler.8653
I hope we get to meet some of these stone dwarves though, an underground quest line would be awesome.
-NaughtyProwler.8653
There’s one quest where you have to protect the quaggan eggs while they hatch and omg… the babby quaggans.. too bad i didnt get a screenie.

Continued from the above post —->
Onto Asura again, the only race I’ve played beyond level 10 so far, they’re filthy little criminals. I broke the law several times, whether tracking down people framing me or simply smashing my way through government property and people. And it’s done so casually. The Snaff Savant attends… illegal gambling fights, participates and wins? All for the greater good? Murders many government security officers on a hunch? And wait. You’re tracking down the people who altered your golem. You check what each of the gambling fighters changed and the councillor, those were the three people. It’s blatantly obvious its the councillor, but you can only choose one of the two fighters even after looking over all three plans as part of the previous quest. Alright. So you do that, blah blah blah. OH! Suddenly you realise it must of been this Council woman all along! And she admits it, it turns out the evidence against her was the blueprint she gave you in the beginning. Duhh! But wait! Whilst you speak to her she’s had her secret ninja army retrieve the blueprints she gave you so you now have no evidence! Dun dun DUN! So you go on to save the day since you know her plans and what she’s done etc. So why did she ever give you the blueprints, just to take them away again, when it obviously lead to her whole plan being ruined? This story follows no logical path. What’s weird is the other Asura Councillors she tried to assasinate take it so casually after 20 giant killer golems almost slaughtered them, and arn’t even going to take action against the evil Councillor woman.
So I’ve broken into government facilities, beat up their secret security, got arrested, blasted my way out of their jail and killed some more of them there, starred in an illegal event where I was announced by my real name (not that I was ever dsgsuised at any other point anyway) and just seen the Council not care about assasination and act so casual and make out it’s common. Yet Asura being filthy criminals is not mentioned or explored otherwise. It feels so accidental and bad, like some sort of grand mistake. And those were just the ones from my low level character creation starting stories and order choosing missions.
Yeah, pretty much this. I thought the Asura personal story was pretty bad. In a different way from the human one. That one was bland, this one is just.. wtf. my storyline was somewhat different because i chose a different invention. nonetheless, it suffered from the same issues you voiced. I felt like I was just running around, murdering and destroying stuff for no good reason, and there were hardly any consequences for doing so.

I must say I was surprised to see a lesbian couple in the game, never saw or heard of any homosexual relationships in the previous game and assumed Anet never considered adding anything of the sort. If they add a romance-npc option there’d better be equality, im just sayin.. haha

Trahearne: I personally find him to be probably worst character. :SPOILERS:
Posted by: StormcrowX.9236
Trahearne is to guild wars 2 what Kormir was to Nightfall.
-NaughtyProwler.8653
picture explains it all. 4 heads better than 1 no?
okay its a bug where sometimes instead of one npc you get many copies..

i love how ridiculously oversized it looks
-NaughtyProwler.8653
honestly, i’d like an easier way to visually distinguish the sexes, measuring the length of their eyelashes just doesnt cut it. and yes, that first image is vaguely disturbing.
-NaughtyProwler.8653
hell no, this isn’t world of guildcraft. sides, i dont think i could whirlwind while sitting on a horse. that would just look silly.
-NaughtyProwler.8653
wrong section bro, send this to anet support.
-NaughtyProwler.8653
I find this NPC name even more interesting. You think anet would ban me if I created a character with this name?
-NaughtyProwler.8653
yeah, i saw this one before. sometimes the reward doesnt reset i guess.
-NaughtyProwler.8653
yes, im getting this too. during cutscenes alternate dialog lines are missing their voiceovers.
-NaughtyProwler.8653
No, you’re not the only one who feels this way. I run past whenever I enter an area populated by wolves, jaguars, lynxes or whatnot.. i wish those were “green” like they used to be in GW1.
-NaughtyProwler.8653
I mentioned this under the “targeting issues” thread, though I have no bloody idea where that went to. But yes, this is a very annoying feature of aoe/multiple target skills.
-NaughtyProwler.8653
No. no and no. This makes things even easier for botters and leechers.
-NaughtyProwler.8653
They will eventually. In anet time.
-NaughtyProwler.8653
To be fair, skimpy armors should be available to all genders and all races. lets not discriminate. I look forward to seeing an Asura in a chainmail bikini.
-NaughtyProwler.8653
Hopefully eventually they will add this.. just be prepared to wait. In anet time.
-NaughtyProwler.8653
was wondering about this as well. i saw a guild yesterday that was named “tight *******”…. yeah, seriously.
-NaughtyProwler.8653
chain lightning currently hits yellow mobs as well. anet fix please.

/signed. this is a valid issue. sometimes the red circles seem to disappear? either way its annoying when im trying to track my target during an event.
-NaughtyProwler.8653
Some suggestions:
1) introduce separate keys for targetting nearest npc or nearest object. These were useful features in guild wars and I do not understand the reason for their removal.
2) “tab” should not target allies, green, or yellow npcs. this is really annoying anet.
3) The red circle under an enemy is hard to see. Enable us to make it bigger, or visible all the time. Or add a glow option, that you can turn on or off. I know some people dislike glow because it breaks immersion but it would be nice as an option for those of us who have visibility issues.
added: mobs suspended in water have no red circle AT ALL. just wanted to point that out.
4) add a cancel-action key. please.
ps. i disabled autoattack because its buggy and annoying. My ele either ends up aggroing everything on the screen, or he repeatedly keeps spamming 1 on a target that is out of reach and I can’t make it stop.

my apologies, delete this thread then
-NaughtyProwler.8653
/signed. I hope anet introduces more character customization options in the future. I deleted and re-created my ele about 3-4 times and I’m still not satisfied with the result. Not enough variation, too many overly pretty or “babyface” facial types.
ps. it should have been obvious which race i was referring to but its the humans. a race of barbie and ken dolls?
-NaughtyProwler.8653
As you all know, the target system in this game is rather problematic. I use “tab” to switch targets, but for some reason the game always choses the most inappropriate, far away one for me. I have some suggestions to improve this:
1) introduce separate keys for targetting nearest enemy, nearest ally or nearest object. These were useful features in guild wars and I do not understand the reason for their removal.
2) “tabbing” should not target allies, friendlies, or non hostile npcs. This includes the local wildlife. I have no desire to aggro a tuna or hermit crab when I’m fighting the krait.
3) The red circle under an enemy is hard to see. Enable us to make it bigger, or visible all the time. Or add a glow option, that you can turn on or off. I know some people dislike glow because it breaks immersion but it would be nice as an option for those of us who have visibility issues.
feel free to add your contributions.
-NaughtyProwler.8653
/signed. bring back the boss glow to improve visibility.
-NaughtyProwler.8653
Anatomical Engineer Llye. Please say his technology survived.
-NaughtyProwler.8653
/signed. A glow effect would be more visible. At least allow this as an option.
-NaughtyProwler.8653
they should at least allow them to be merched. one thing i find annoying is that so many items are soulbound, meaning that if i have no use for them, i cant do anything except destroy them.
-NaughtyProwler.8653
I agree, this is just bad design imo.
-NaughtyProwler.8653
Did anyone else find it disjointed as hell? One minute I was fighting inquest agents, the next minute these “Arcane eye” people pop up out of nowhere, with no explanation whatsover, and then I’m suddenly asked to save this proffessor guy and then thrust into the elder dragon storyline with no build up whatsoever. I dunno bout ya’ll, but I was scratching my head half the time. There was no introduction to the Arcane eye, or why they are bad people. Hell, there was little introduction to any of the enemies I had to fight. And up to the point where you have to chose between the 3 orders, there was little information about the elder dragons or why they pose a threat. NPCs just assumed the player knew…
don’t get this wrong, i love the little people and their culture but up till this point the personal story has had me going “WHAT.”
-NaughtyProwler.8653
I wanted to RP as an non-intellectual oddball kind of Asura character but it seems like our characters personalities seem kind of pre-chosen for us. =( I feel a twinge of disappointment whenever my little girl starts bragging about her amazing genius or superior intellect. I know that’s the overall character of the race, but I dislike being a cookie cutter stereotype… thats my 2 cents..
