they foguht my guild over the orb in kaeneng at asc bay spending i can’t imagine how much on siege(including at least 2 golems) only to abandon it right after.

at least kaineng defends things they take sometimes.

but yeah you guys should try working together during primetime.

Your opening statement is so true that it makes me want to spit. the current tactic with many players on DR is hit and move. nobody defends, nobody thinks about supply. what really jerks my chain is that there are guilds claiming keeps and not even sticking around to build them up. This is something that is going to need to be addressed by the server.

DR isn’t perfect. but there are names showing up that I see helping lead us into wins. With a little more effort and cohesion DR can be more than just a “low pop server”

When I was on DR, we would be fighting server x, and Kianeng would show up and attack us.

If we took a server x supply camp, sometimes Kianeng would take it right after, when there is a perfectly juicy server x supply camp on the way from their spawn.

This happened the other way around too! DR would attack Kianeng when server x had 50 people to fight!

I actually believe (because I see this on other servers) that when two servers are outnumbered, fear makes them attack the other lower server instead of the stronger one, because they are more likely to not be outnumbered and maybe win a fight. Yes, I’m calling the people who do that chickens… lol

I’m not saying one server is more guilty than another. I personally have been part of a Kaineg borderlands invasion as part of DR and it drove me nuts. I agree that people are more willing to attack the weaker dog because they want an easy win. I also agree that its a bit chicken. But, who did it first, who earned it more, and who is to blame for X isn’t going to help anything. (I’m not implying the poster above me is doing this)

We need to start thinking. It’s the only thing we can do. Everything else is a result of that thought.

I think we need to help each other. Fact is, we are stuck at the bottom together, let’s get comfortable, adapt, and evolve.

I disagree I think moral sinks when your color is represented by two dots on the map in a sea of green.

Whats going on with the, little, low population servers? Why are you both constantly not working together? Do both servers not see the major disadvantage each suffers when spreading your already thin resources further out out to fight each other? Has it not dawned on anyone that next week it will be the two of you against a 3rd high population server, then the week after that Borlis again?

Are the two of you sick of logging in to see that you have zero supply depots and one keep? until something changes, we are each others best shot at relieving pressure off each other. Until we gather more people we are stuck sitting at the bottom of the barrel eating the garbage that gets washed out of the Tier above us… together.

Let’s get some communication going and see if we can make a change. Otherwise you devoted homeland defenders who want to see your server grow and become something more will only watch people leave for something more.

Also at the beginning I think Kaineng focused on Devona’s Rest orb? I don’t think that was a smart idea considering you guys should have allied them. You should find out what guild took their orb and slap them.

This is so true, it makes me sad. Kaineng and Devona’s rest fighting each other is about as senseless as it gets. This needs to stop.

I just recently moved to DR to meet up with a nice group from DAoC. Upon my adventures I discovered another friendly guild I know had also moved to DR to help with the population issues. So numbers are trickling in. but we need more.

Devona’s Rest’s population is low and it shows when you look at the map. What also shows is that the few numbers we have; they fight hard. We are able to stand up to the overwhelming zerg forces we are pitted against this week, we just lack the numbers to spread ourselves out enough to kick theirkitten all over the map.

The tactics are out there and ever present. I constantly see small pockets of players out trying to help thin out the zerg by capping resources and attempting to pull some attention off of our intended server target. There is constant chatter in /map sharing information and communicating.

Not everyone likes a good fight, and on Devona’s rest we have no choice. We need to work at every cap with cooperation, coordination, and team work. I would consider our efforts to be successful.

My only question is: Wouldn’t some of you like to be on a team that needs to work for it’s win and enjoy that victory having actually helped make it happen?
