Sigh… why does it only matter when your enemy does it? [FEAR] is known for crashing some GvGs. Are they making themselves look bad in your eyes? Or do they not count?

I have yet to see FEAR on here trumpeting about how amazing they are with their ability to crash GvGs… but yeah, anyone that does it is pretty lame in my eyes, regardless of the server they are on.

(this is coming from the guy that complains in TS when his group is fighting people at their spawn… so maybe I just like sportsmanship/not trying to ruin other peoples fun)

The first time i ever heard of a guild crashing a gvg in tier 1 was TW. Now i know they are not complaining about what BT did just wanted to let others know that bit of information.

TW has never crashed a GvG. FEAR has on multiple occasions. When you crash a GvG, you essentially ruin any chances of partaking in one. There would be no benefit to doing it.

I don’t get why people try to boast and claim stuff with GvG. This sub-forum is WvW, if you get crashed you get crashed. Deal with it. Until guild halls arrive and there are actual standing and ranks for different sized GvG’s, you shouldn’t expect people to “respect” you in a video game and stay away.

Nice. Smart move there. By choking them in the bridge, you weeded out the enemy.

Not really. They wiped to our 15 plus a couple of random spectators they didnt manage to kill when they rolled through them while we were GvGing.

I switched to my stacking weapon as we chased them to the bridge and went from 0 to 25 stacks before the fight was even half way over. It is kind of cute that they posted a very small clip fighting an enemy they out numbered from the start, had a huge advantage over, and still had to edit out both the beginning and the outcome where they wiped to a smaller force… with survivors retreating to a tower.

Even funnier because they wiped two more times with superior numbers over us and spent the rest of the night running on inc and porting away. Funny trolling there. I haven’t laughed that hard in a while. Thanks for the good time…. but wait until after a GvG is done next time.

JQ needs to recruit to compete with SOR & BG. We lost a lot of guilds. I dont think SOR has lost any. In fact you just gained 2 guilds from JQ. Furthermore, SOR dominates NA & EU having IRON, KISS, WARD & ACO guilds transfer to your server. That is why I am asking why the need to recruit where other servers need more people.

Well I spent the bulk of my day watching people run from me. From some of the big name guilds too. I looked behind me to see if maybe there was a massive TC zerg, but nope. I really am quite terrible, you guys should stop running, haha

I’m not a big fan of spvp .. but I guess I’ll find the fights I’m looking for when I head back to EU.

Most ppl esp in the big name guilds r speced and geared for group play. There r some solo ppl or roamers tho jst hard to find, Altho even if im speced for group i still stay and fight esp if its a 1v1 or a 1v2 2v2 2v1.

but dif strokes for dif folks, also about u getting zerged down, u were prob jst in the wrong place at the wrong time.

i agree open them up, make them free to transfer too, but its not gonna solve the issue. Most ppl dont go to the higher tiers to win, they go there for the fights at all times. People get sick of having a server pop thats 10% wvw and 90% pve, so they move to the higher tiers, where its more 60-70% wvw and 30-40% pve.

If he were complaining about chest thumping in general, then that would be fine. But he’s saying that SEA has no right to brag because they win by outnumbering their opponents. Outnumbering your opponents has been how you win WvW since day one. So no quotation marks necessary, SEA is dominating their timezone.

Most guilds on T1 servers think they are good (in an absolute sense none are even close).

I think if there’s one thing we learned over the past few months (with the new matchup system) it’s that skill levels have nothing to do with tier levels. Probably the hardest fights we faced in the last two months came out of a couple Maguuma guilds. Once this revelation hit me, it actually changed the way I look at WvW.

Definitely, ppt does matter to an extent, but only an extremely small one, to Rallians. SoR simply doesn’t want to ever become past rank 1 servers that got too obsessed getting first.

This doesn’t really line up with what I know of SoR, but I’ll take your word for it, since I suppose you could pick and choose certain posts from certain BG individuals and accuse us of having an unhealthy obsession with being first. As a server, Blackgate has been knocked on its kitten more than twice but I really salute the core guilds who show up day in and day out regardless of the score and ranking. These guilds are the reason why we’ve stabilized in T1 and never went on a downward spiral even when we got pushed down into T2. SoR has not experienced this dip yet, but I do believe the community is strong enough to maintain a good server rank for a very long time.

I agree with you that it takes too much time until we see an effort to fix the problem. I remember at the release that I phase retreated with my mesmer under the earth constantly. I wrote propably like 20 bug reports on this issue allone until it was fixed.

The question is, if ppl, who complain here in the forum, write bug reports in game. Just a vague description in the forum is just not enough. On the other hand, the bug report system in GW2 doesn’t give you the feeling that your report will be looked at. You could send those reports into the void and would have the same feeling about it’s effects.

And what do u do, when u have only vague describtions? You try to recreate the error yourself with the information you have. However, the time it takes from first encountering the issue until you see an recognizable effort from ANet is just plainly too long.

Many ppl sent in reports with video evidence. All anyone has to do is search youtube for more videos also. There whole player reports r to vague argument is BS.

I didn’t see that. What I saw was a dev saying that the reports provided did not give the type of info needed for them to reliably replicate and therefore fix that bug.

And I saw a lot of people using some pretty insulting language toward the dev(s). They’re people too. Treat them they way they’ve been treated on these forums and they’ll be less likely to listen to the users and start to feel that nothing they can do will make a difference. People aren’t motivated by negative reinforcement. That’s just human nature.

People r not complaining that they r now working on and acknowledge it now. They r upset at the fact it has taken soo long, and the fact that he said over the thousand of ppl who have reported this, for 6 months now were to vague. By him saying that it was kinda a slap in the face to there player base, who have been playing and offering advice and details on thes bugs for along time.

It also says that all the other bugs we have been reporting on will prob never be fixed. Untill someone from anet Stumbles across it one day in wvw, when they actually play there game for more then 5 minutes.

You can watch like 50 videos on this bug from youtube alone, and im sure many ppl sent in videos with there bug reports. After all this is there game, and since they dont have test servers to actually look into this stuff, its up to them.

WOW i just read in the wvw discussion section that anet just now found out about the pasing threw gates. They found this out by one of the Mods who was playing phased threw the gate. He then says the ppl who have been reporting this bug for wut 8 months ??? were to vague…………………………………..

This has already gotten old after the 9 months or whatever it has been.

As soon as a better game comes out you will see any serious PvP players/guilds leaving.

i agree with u here dude, many guilds and ppl will be leaving this game whena better one comes. This game has the lowest skill cap/ceiling i have seen in along time, kitten swtor had a higher cap.Only thing i wish whena new game comes out is alot of the sor guys/girls follow each other cause i love playing with 99% of them.

And when BG ticked low u guys all say RIP BG and say all things about BG imploding but look at when sor tick so low, you guys tick low because you have no number? U should stop faking coverage and come out to fight, stop trying to stack your server further i thought sor only care about fights? Then why dont you come out and fight instead of searching EU guilds to stack some more?

Your signature pretty much sums up your post. IRON is EU. They play in the EU timezone, not SEA timezone.

15 IRON on BG BL right now beg to differ, only 15, but still, I’ve seen IRON push 20 in SEA good on them, butt don’t lie that they never play SEA.
