#3. I think your problem is that u’r too far from your target(mayb max range is 1200 or 900). Is like when u try to cast a phantasm on a target that is “out of range”.
It has happened to me more than once, that i use that skill just to go on stealth so i dont agro mobs, but instead the skill makes the ilusion, even while i was out of combat, and the monster agroes myself after killing the ilusion.

#4. Yeah there might be something wrong here, prolly in part because some of the glamour skills have at least 1s Cast time(between the time u cast it and the time the coldown actually starts on the skill), because i tested it and it worked propertly with Feedback, since its instant cast.

#5. Diversion is the F3 skill, not the F4. U’r confusion Diversion with Distortion, And the signet does proc Distortion when u have Blurred Inscriptions trait.

#9. Nothing wrong with this one, is just how is setup.

#10. Is like dodging any other skill, people can dodge the Phantasm summon skill, so we Missed our summon, just like when u try to summon an illusion on a target that is out of range.

#3. I am actually in near melee range at the time. If you arn’t in combat the ability will not function. It needs to check if you have a hostile target selected in addition to range.

#4. I tested it with a stop watch multiple times and while feedback is the least broken (still not going above the default value in the tooltip for duration with the trait selected) Null Field is by far the most broken.

#6. Sorry, I meant “Masterful Reflection” that states “Distortion grants reflection”. Both the Sword2 ability and the forementioned rune grant you Distortion, but MAsterful Reflection doesn’t proc the Reflection.

#9. Before the range check change I could summon it from 1200, but couldn’t use the leap unless within 600 … which is how I assume it was meant to function.

#10. That range check wasn’t added until right before release, the side effects of that change were not fully tested … so its dangerous to assume that this is what is meant to happen. I can’t kill a guardians #5 greatsword attack, cc it, ect in addition to all the normal counters to weapon attacks. This seems like a double penalty.

8. Minimal amount of repair before reconstruction happens. Once a wall falls to 0 percent it should take more than a few supply to make an entire wall appear again. Perhaps once a wall falls you have to get to like 20% before the wall reappears?

It means that if someone dodges while we are summoning he will evade and our clone/phantasm will not appear.

Weapon Abilities

Greatsword:

  1. “Illusionary Wave” – Cone emanates in the direction the character body is facing, not the direction the head/camera is facing.

Staff:

  1. “Chaos Storm” – Daze from this ability will not apply vulnerability in combination with the Dazzling trait or Stun from Confounding Suggestions..

Scepter:

  1. “Ether Clone” (Scepter 1) is not causing confusion as the tooltip says it will.

Sword (Main Hand):

  • None Reported

Sword (Off-Hand):

  • “Counter Blade” – Daze from this ability will not apply vulnerability in combination with the Dazzling trait or Stun from Confounding Suggestions.

Torch:

  1. “The Prestige” – No longer acting like a blast finisher. Stealth is still failing for no reason.
  2. “Phantasmal Mage” – Does not benefit from Master of Misdirection or Illusionary Elasticity.

Focus:

  1. “Temporal Curtain” – This was changed so that it could not stack with itself by players running back and forth through the wall. However it no longer stacks with any Swiftness Boon in duration like the boon itself suggests it should. Spell does not reflect arcing attacks or attacks from a different z-axis position.
  2. “Phantasmal Warden” – Not running to melee range of the target between attacks.

Pistol:

  1. “Phantasmal Duelist” – Runs up to 600 range even though it has a 1200+ range.

Trident:

  1. “Illusions of Drowning” – Causes the target to reflect friendly ranged attacks.
  2. “Siren’s Call” – Clones are causing confusion on hit and not boons on allies.
  3. Trident Clones do not have weapons (Should have a copy of the trident you’re using.)

Spear:

  1. “Stab → Jab → Evasive Strike” – 100% Miss chance even when on top of an enemy target.

Utility:

  1. “Signet of Illusions” illusions initially summon with normal health.
  2. “Null Field” is still not lasting its intended duration and most certainly is not “ripping ALL boons from foes” as indicated on tooltip. Post Patch it doesn’t even remove all conditions on the caster. It may remove 3 or so and then stops working.
  3. “Blink” – Will often teleport you and then instantly teleport you back from where you started.
  4. “Veil” – Only stealthing you for 2 seconds instead of the 4 listed on the tooltip.

Elite:

Shatter:

Traits

  4. “Sharper Image” – Bleeding caused by this trait causes zero damage when the illusion dies.

Chaos:

  1. “Chaotic Dampening” – There is a bug that causes the bleed duration of “Winds of Chaos” to get reduced by 20% from original 7s down to 5s.

Inspiration:

  1. “Temporal Enchanter” is either bugged or the tooltips is incorrect in regards to Glamour duration.

Illusions:

  1. “Masterful Reflection” does not proc off of the trait “Blurred Inscriptions”.
  2. “Master of Misdirection” does not affect Confusion from Confusing Combatants or Illusion-inflicted Confusion, like from iMage.
  3. “Illusionary Elasticity” does not provide an additional bounce to clone attacks that bounce … such as iMage.

General Bugs

  1. Clone images don’t show off-hand weapons even when you do have one equip on the character that created it.
  2. Ethereal Combo – proccing the original version of Chaos Armor instead of the one the Mesmer class released with.
  3. Invisibility – NOT breaking channel effects that require a target. (A bump of dirt can cause my attack to miss, but going invisible doesn’t)
  4. Distortion – Damage and various CC will often still occur during Distortion.
  5. Cone attacks will go off in the direction you were facing when you activated the ability rather than the direction you are facing when the ability finally fires.

1. “Phantasmal Fury” blocks the Retaliation boon of “Vengeful Images”.

2. “Phantasmal Healing” still does not proc until 6 second after summons instead of at Phantasm spawn.

3. “Deceptive Evasion” has a nasty tendency to not produce a clone because you have randomly fallen out of combat even though you have an enemy target selected.

4. “Temporal Enchanter” is either bugged or the tooltips are incorrect for Glamours. With Temporal Enchanter active the field lasts as long as the tooltips say by default and without it they end faster then what the tooltips say by default.

5. “Phantasmal Haste” does not effect some phantasms. Warlock and Disenchanter being at least two.

6. “Masterful Reflection” does not proc off of Main Hand Sword #2 nor the effect from the trait “Blurred Inscriptions”.

7. “Signet of Inspiration” does not grant its Passive effect until 10 seconds of being in combat. In beta this passive effect was always active like other signet passives effects.

8. “Phantasmal Duelist” is bugged in regards to “Phantasmal Healing” in that it generates the Regen every 3 seconds rather than 6 like other phantasms.

9. Main hand sword’s clone summons is set to 600, rather than the 1200 other clone summons have. Swap is correctly set to 600.

10. This one I don’t know if it is a bug or intended … but when the change occurred so that range checks were made on clone/phantasm creation … players were also given the ability to evade our ability to summon said clone/phantasm. If our clones/phantasms couldn’t be countered by walking away, being killed, or CCed I would guess intended … but given that this is not the case I just had to ask.

1. Queue position and “ESTIMATED” wait times for those in queues.

2. You should be able to relog directly back into a PvP zone for up to a set amount of time after a game crash. Can’t tell you how frustrating it is to spend 3 hours in a queue just to lose all that waiting due to a network disconnect error or some other random thing.

3. Auto-loot needs to function in WvW on player loot bags. (Edit: As in as soon as the bag appears you automatically pick it up and put it in your inventory)

4. Need to pull out Group Names from Friendly Names in the name display toggle options. That way you can turn off friendly names and still see your group player names. (Helped a lot in DAoC)

5. More marking options. Group leaders should be able to place marks over group members heads so that the Target mark can actually be used only for its intended purpose.

6. Different color for friendly players that are part of your wargroup (or whatever its called when you join a commander). Green = friendly, Blue = Group, so maybe Orange or Purple (Edit: NOT RED) = Warband?

7. Rankings, Rankings, Rankings … We want to see a page that shows the Server ladder, the people with the most kills, guilds with the most objective points, ect, ect. Bragging rights has kept DAoC going for more than 10 years and it will do the same for this game guaranteed.

Cheaters in World vs world

I’ve played this game since release and a lot of hours in world vs world. Suddenly i face some players from the guild “JUMP” of Dzagonur Server this evening (Dzagonur invaders Germans)(I’m in fissure of woe) and for the first time strange things happened.
I was in battle with 8 guild members and there were only 3 players of them. We gank them because they were outnumbered but then all of us died in 3 or 4 seconds totally defeated. I remember a 1on1 against a warrior. I hit him with Death Blossom but in the very next moment he attacks me and i’m down and DEFEATED in 3 seconds. I check the combat log and i see that he did me like 4 skills in 1 seconds??? I have two screens that i can show. . You can see 13kk damage…

He had quickness boon and used hundred blades on you. The 13k hit at the end is against you when you are downed. When you are in a downed state you take a LOT more damage from all attacks. Nothing in this screen shot is “cheating”.
