Not only is celestial OP (because it gives you way more stats). But in addition, other things like fire and air sigils are very strong and should be nerfed probably.

What makes Cele OP is the might stacking that comes along mostly.
An Ele without might stacks ain’t worth anything even with Cele Amulet.

I wouldn’t really say Cele is OP, it’s more the sigils and might itself.

Many players, youtubers, streamers are asking for donations so I’m just getting on the same ship.

It’s not that I’m pushing ppl to do so, all is at their own will.

I did, however, removed the PayPal donation link on my youtube since some ppl couldn’t live with it.

As I am one of the very few ‘all-classers’ and playing all classes in PvP, it would be cool for a new title fixed upon that.

Currently each class has it’s own title, ex Champion Paragon (Guardian)
At this moment, I’m close having all Champion Titles and it would be nice to have a exclusive title combined with it.

Suggestion:

Having all 8 Champion titles, earns you the title “Jack of All Trades”

This would eventually stimulate some ppl to try other classes with the chance finding their new main class.

This title will also show that the player atleast has alot of experience (150 × 8 Matches won= 1200 matches won) and kinda understands the rotations/job of most or all classes.

This is my wish :>

Somewhere after about ~300ms is when this starts to manifest I find.

Perhaps your connection has degraded recently.

Might be worth running a few basic diagnostics to see if you can find an issue, maybe give your ISP a buzz following that, they can run some tests and offer advice too.

I’m having those weird portbugs aswel on my thief.
But on my Mesmer (blink) it’s something different.

You don’t move at all, not even a slightest bit towards the place you wanted to blink.
Utility is used while you’re still standing at the same spot..

Anyone else experiencing alot of failing teleports?

A normal teleport 900-1200 range from you sometimes doesn’t work and you keep standing at the place you were before.

This is happening to me with Blink mostly, which is a Stun Breaker. Sometimes I just want to stunbreak-blink 900 range further and end up staying at same place, eating everything and die.

Didn’t had this much problems with teleport-bug like this months ago..

Search for my History info Devs, I only won 1 solo q game out of 2 full days (hours) of queue’ing.

Some people insist in keep spreading lies that mesmer is underpowered, hard to play and not viable. Yet almost every Anet tourney final has at least 1 mesmer.

You cant compare warrior regen with imune and spamable blinks. d/d ele is strong but it is melee range. Mesmer has way too much survivability via kiting/immune for a build that invests everything on offensive. Deceptive evasion having no cd makes clone generation trivial and spamable. It is like if warriors had infinite adrenaline, or ele evasive arcana had no cooldown.

I’m trying Axe/Bow and I like the damage, each Eviscerate hits really hard, but I’m not completely confident I understood what the typical role of this kind of warrior is.
If you had to refer to this thread, would you say it’s Roamer/Far point assaulter?

The Axe/bow warrior is surely a Far Decapper. It’s has the DPS and the survivability against (most) builds. This ofcourse with celestial and hoelbrak runes!

@Suns,Alot of stuff covered seems unimportant to some,but it can be important to newbies lerning basics of pvp,thats what denied is good in.His vids show alot of basic stuff to get the hang of pvp,how to rotate,how to use your skills properly etc.Most other channels are just promoting at how “Good” They are.

I’m not sure, it does seem viable but there’s a bit lack of power I think.
The extra Fury duration is awesome tbh. But you’ll have to rely on the Fury too much (I think?) to be viable in a full PvP match.
Talking about Ranked vs Organized teams. If they got a Thief aswel, he might actually rip off your Fury. Therefore without Power add rune, you’ll kinda lack the damage (I think)
Rest seems ok, but I prefer the Mug trait for the Healing and the long Poison on Steal, which obviously helps (minor trait), instead of the Shadow Arts trait.

No, you cover irrelevant (this is the same thing as unimportant) things in your video, and the advice is often bad and/or incomplete. Just to go over sigil of intelligence again, everyone knows it will make the next 3 attacks crit, or at least they can read it from the tooltip or on the build template. It is useful information to mention that this sigil is strong when you use Final Thrust, but beyond that you didn’t really say anything that will help a beginner. You also failed to mention you can use the sigil to get a critical on Arcing Arrow.

So basically, this is a 20 minute video of you talking over something that could be learned from a gw2skill page, and there are so many things you didn’t even touch on, such as the role of the build. But hey, over 1k viewers and that text at the top begging for donations give you the gold you are after I guess. It is a bit shameless, though, considering the quality of the video.

Well, seems the likes and the pm’s/mails I get are against you, not to mention the donations (which I find not rly important, it just helps me).

I see no need talking about specific details (like launching Arcing Arrow and switch weps to let it crit with sigil) since new players won’t even understand this.
(since this is actually a higher level play with mechanics of the game)

This is what you don’t get: the channel is for both veterans AND beginners. Why would I explain a beginner driver on how to drift between two barrels, while he can’t even get the car going? You see my point?

Ppl know they can always contact me ingame for the details AND even for private training (as you said the intel proc on Arcing Blow for example).
I spend half of my time ingame learning/teaching ppl combo’s, mechanical aspects, shortcuts,tricks and more. That’s what ppl donate me for.

It’s fine you dislike my channel and hate the fact ppl are actually donating for it.
However, that is their will and thoughts.

You share your opinion and I understand yours, but you clearly don’t see the bigger picture. Donations? Hell, I don’t care if someone gives me 1bronze or 50gold or give nothing. What I care about are the mails/pm’s/comments of ppl who are now playing ALOT better than they were before and actually had SOMEONE to give them a steppingstone.
Nothing beats sweet mails/comments from people.

You can see me as the person u THINK I am, but I don’t really care tbh, you’re not the first hatin’ on me.

I’ve been using d/f fresh air with great success. Not popular at all but in my opinion it’s the next best build after d/d cele. Like s/f just better. Just started using it about a week ago.

Celestial Rifle Engineer:

As all engineers, be it Turret, P/S or cele rifle, their weak spot remains the same: Conditions.

If you are not a class with many condition pressure, rather avoid the fight or keep him busy untill someone can rotate with you (take your spot in the fight).

If you have condition pressure, bait out his Healing Turret (double press and f1 as blast) and then apply as much conditions you can.

Do be carefull about the Toolkit block and it’s pull.

The Pull is an obvious animation (magnetic waves/wires) which stays for 1second.
The trick is to dodge right after that second. If you dodge mid-animation, you’ll still be pulled.(and get the 5 stacks of confusions to Toolit 3 landing)

Mind the red circles on the ground!
This can be Toolkit nr 2, which deals criple and bleeding every second you’re standing on it. We do not want that!
This can also be grenades, being fired from afar, so keep an eye on the ledges!

When Engi is switching to Rifle, mind the knockback skill. This has no obvious start animation, so this will be harder to dodge. However, when engi is closing in on you & switches to rifle, that is the time to actually dodge/break LoS/block.

After the knockback skill, they’ll try to land their immobilize (net animation) skill.
Dodge if possible or stand behind something to break LoS.

If u do got immobilized, they’ll use rifle 5 (the jumping towards u animation with red circle) and deal damage.

A great class/build countering this is the Condition Engineer with Pistol/Shield (3kit Rabid), a Dark Path Carrion Necro, Condition Warrior (mace/sword/longbow for example)

The Shatter mesmer part is a bit.. incomplete.

Dodge/avoid/block/kite away from:
- GS 2 (the closer the mesmer is, the more it will bounce and the more damage it will do. Also, this is unblockable. If it lands, we’re looking at +7k damage in 1second)
Most experienced mesmers will combo this with Shatter F1 to have utmost dps. We’re looking at +13k damage if the full combo lands and 3clones)
- GS 4 (Is the animation you’re waiting for. This is where the Mesmer holds up his GS in the air and spawns a spinning clone dealing damage and cripple. Dodge 0.5 – 1.0s after the Mesmer is performing this skill to avoid the criple and damage. Note: aslong you don’t kill this clone, he’ll remain doing the spinning attack every 5-8s (?)
- GS 5 (hard to dodge but easy to know when it’s going to be casted. Mostly at start to land their GS2/GS4 OR at the end of it to land their Staff 5 Chaos Storm)

When Mesmer is in staff, there is not much of a burst here (except staff 3 but has no animation) but there is some condition pressure here due the auto attack, Chaos Armor (Staff 4 and/or Staff 5 + staff 2 combo out of it) and Chaos Storm (the noisy field dazing you, giving you conditions when standing in and giving the Mesmer random boons while he stands in it.

All in all, the way to counter/outlive mesmer is simply by dodging his GS/shatter bursts.
If you can dodge GS2 and GS4, there’s is not much to worry about.
The Shatters, however, could still apply pressure. We are talking about F1 power shatter, which deals a great amount of damage the more clones the Mesmer has up.

If you see the mesmer has +2 clones up and tries to get to you, be carefull.
Their shatters can be dodged/blocked!

You need to also realize that it is a group of players selected because they are at least somewhat skills versus a pub of players at variable skill levels. Pre-mades are also more willing to cooperate whereas pub groups tend to resort to complaining and insisting that each individual player is in fact the most skilled and has the best plan.

I agree, I’d like to see what more we can do to encourage pubs to cooperate more. On my wish list is a team finder that analyzes all your games and suggests other pub players to potentially team with based on your past history with them.

Another idea is letting you keep your pub team through the next queue if you won.

You cant join them, they just showing off there team.

GASM is probably the closest you’ll get to a community.
Being OP is hard I think use to be a community.

Well EU has ‘many’ PvP guilds though. We got ReVo, ZeuS, tpvp, WEED, misc and some others I can’t think off atm.

I only watched the first video (shout sw/wh build), and I am not sure what to think about this. You basically spend 20 minutes listing the components of the build, and talk about why it’s called worker build. Though I am confused, as wouldn’t this mean any other build with team support focus also is a worker build?

Anyway, the few tips you give are either very basic or … very odd. You say the intelligence sigil is for getting a critical on final thrust, yet you say it’s hard to land, so you recommend to cripple the enemy first. Your advice is therefore to autoattack cripple them before final thrust. I hope I am not the only one who see the logical flaw in this advice.
