On a serious note; a great part in HoTM are complaining about this as I, myself, witnesses this DC aswel. Happened twice for Legacy of teh Foefire.

Anyone noticed we can’t stack legendaries’ effect anymore?
I was still able to do so few days back. (yes u could still stack it but had to be done a bit different than a year ago ago).
Tried to do it today but doesn’t seem to work anymore.
Why would you ‘fix’ that when it can give people a good feeling and make a nice screenshot?
Second, the latest patch (yesterday) seriously made PvP imbalanced as in connection (dc’s) and login bugged..
I hope this gets fixed because really getting tired of the EU servers instability while PvP’ing. (has been over a month now)

There should be 1k tickets send to players and pick up weapon you like [without limit, but it’s acc bound, just like wvw tickets]
If that was the case, I would 100% buy tickets. But since both ticket AND weapon choice is RnG, I won’t even bother.

It’s a simple lottery actually.
Every wrapper is a ticket that might have a chance at winning a weapon skin.
In total there will be 100+100+200+200+200+200=1000 winning tickets and maybe one (or more?) of those tickets belong to you.
What confuses me is when you go to NPC, you see the price of each skin is the same (1 ticket). And it remains the same ticket aswel.
So all I understand is that you get a ticket back, and can choose a skin. Though, others are saying you’ll get one sended randomly.. So I want an answer from Anet asap because this obviously confuses loads of players

How is it going to work?
A) I buy tickets, give to NPC in LA and after 2 weeks I (might) get a skin in mail I choose
B) I buy tickets, give to NPC in LA and after 2 weeks I (might) get a ticket in mail to choose a skin I want at the NPC
C) I buy tickets, give to NPC in LA and after 2 weeks I (might) get a random weapon in my mail
D) I buy tickets, give to NPC in LA and after 2 weeks I (might) get a ticket in mail to choose a skin I want at the NPC but before I get there, other people got the 100 Shields? (so ticket useless if you only want Shield)
I’m asking because most people not speaking English as main language do not understand the whole thing around this..
Second thing, since there are only 100 Shields available and about 800 skins or so.. You do know (when the answer is B & D) that people who got lucky with RnG with ticket + fastest internet/pc’s will get those Shields first right? I mean, ofcourse everyone will try for the GS and Shield first, since it’s very exclusive..
So I need this clarified before I even try.

400 gems = 76gold. That’s the minimum. No new player can’t afford this yet they made the change for new players? I don’t see the logic.
Give us atleast minimum of 50/100 and 200gems.

Here are a few tidbits from the team:
- A lot of newer players had trouble with the interface. That doesn’t apply to you, you’re veterans who have been around the conversion block a time or two. But newer players will benefit from the updated system.
- The goal was to make the Gem Store more like other shopping experiences, and if you think about it, there is more of that feel to it now.
- You may be surprised to know this (I know I was) but very few people bought gems at smaller denominations than the first one offered in the new system. That’s not to say they never did, nor that there wouldn’t be the desire to do so. But overall, the current options were selected based on player purchases in the past.
- The team is going to listen to your feedback and, if and when it’s practical and desirable, they can look towards adjusting the new system to better meet your needs.
So please keep your thoughts coming on the new system. Feel free to make suggestions but please, keeping them constructive would be very much appreciated.
And yet in the history of this forum there has never been a post saying “the gem exchange interface is confusing me as a new player” or anything similar.
Really? You’re 100% certain there’s never been such a post? Good for you, then!
Concerns of this nature come in via tickets, when someone takes the wrong step, buys too many times, isn’t able to process the acquistion or exchange, etc. By the time someone’s on the forums, they’re usually comfortable with the systems.
So next time we should send tickets instead of making forum posts?

Whats even more disgusting is the fact u can only buy fixed amoutnt of gems, which skyrocketed after the patch!!!! I only need 100gems yet I cant buy it becaus eu need ot buy a minimum of 400gems.
700gems were around 69g earlier today and now its 76g for 400gems..

Imo, 1v1 in WvW is as imbalanced it can get compared to do 1v1 in PvP.
I spended over 2k hours in WvW roaming/dueling and went PvP afterwards.
Ended up never leaving PvP for over a year.
No lag, no imba stats/builds, no interupts of duels etc.(private servers)
Just to clearify: WvW cannot be balanced in 1v1, ever! Because, well, WvW is not made for 1v1. Nor is the whole game. Even PvP ain’t about 1v1 specs. But PvP does offer more balance due Armor Stats being neglected and some traits + ‘Revealed’ being more balanced in PvP.
I was one of those guys who were crying about a nerf this and nerf that due the insane Imba builds in WvW.
It’s useless doing that, I realised that.
No matter how good or bad a duelist you are, WvW is not balanced around 1v1.
- Shatter Mesmers are one the best in normal 1v1 (offpoint)
- Shatter Mesmers are the worst for 1v1 (on point)
- Shatter Mesmers have little to no condi cleanse (poison and one other damaging condi is enough; only need a bit of time)
- Shatter Mesmer mobility is not as strong (without frwd PR), therefore current meta forces them taking Rune of the Traveler.
- Shatter Mesmer has HUGE responsebility, both in using Elite (Moa or Mass Invis), calling out portals and burst coordination. (EG Thief/Mesmer comp)
- Shatter Mesmer has lowest error margin through all meta-builds.
- Shatter Mesmer is easily to be countered and focused upon.
- Shatter Mesmer can turn tide in teamfights.
Conclusion: Playing Shatter Mesmer decently demands skill. While some other meta builds only ask for little knowledge. I do not think Shatter Mesmer should be nerfed.
Points given above are thoughts and experiences from Team Arena.
I barely play Shatter Mesmer, but I do respect good Shatter Mesmers.
All in all, Shatter Mesmer in Team Arena is a high risk = high reward spec.

DC’ed twice while tPvP’ing and my connection was fine (was streaming and no lag or dc on stream).
This is getting insane. It’s been around for a month now. Look at ToG and ESL weekly cups, they’re having loads of lags + dc’s aswel and can turn the tide unbalanced even.
Please, take this as priority..

I do agree somewhere that Team Arena should be available only starting at a certain PvP level.
Same for Solo Arena but lower level requirement than Team Arena, ofcourse.
It’s not fun running Solo Arena since April Patch :<

There’s your problem shut down Skype and see if your issues goes away. Skype was never designed for gaming, it sucks, get TeamSpeak3 or Ventrilo if you need in game VoIP.
Skype is always turned off when I play GW2. I onyluse it for ESL Admin meanings, when I don’t rly play the game. And I do use TS3 for tpvp and playing the game
I re-installed the game and the problem is still there.

So since cpl of days, I’m getting those really weird fps drops in hotm and tpvp. It’s not only when fighting, it’s also when just running around.
With settings on low it stays aswel. The problem can’t be my pc since BF4 and other games are running fluently.
Normally run between 50-80fps..
The drops only stays for 2-3seconds. After a minute, it’s there again.
4.3Ghz CPU and HD78xx 2gb
SSD has still 30GB’s left so its not because it’s full or anything.
GW2 only uses about 30-50% of my CPU max.
It’s only since cpl of days.. Any news about this?
Would re-installin game help?

Please fix the Steal and other teleports of thiefs. This is getting really ridiculous. Getting teleported back with steal and Shadowstep.
Whole map in HoTM experienced those lagspikes tonight, atleast for half hour.
Also lots of dc’s, freezes and delays of 3-10seconds.
Both confirmed by my Guild in HoTM and the people in mapchat complaining about the lag.

It’s indd true with the que-process, skills getting stuck sooner or later and when spamming to make it work, it will all come down to waste your ini as all spam-attacks come at once. Please do something about this. This won’t buff thiefs, this wil buff the quality of life in general or aka, how thiefs SHOULD be acting.
Aslong this stays, thief will remain broken, together with buggy steal and buggy teleports.
UPDATE; hundred blade is BUGGED when the character is under the effect of QUICNKESS. So it’s not from the sigil alone, it’s also from the Last Chance trait.

As you can see in the attachment, only 7 hits from 100b has been recorded. Both in damage AND visual. This only occurs when under effect of Quickness! But ofcourse, it differs alot of dps!

When doing normal 100b in HoTM vs Golem, all works fine.
When adding Sigil of Rage, the last hit of 100b does not hit, nor is there an animation (under influence of Quickness that is!)
Right before the last attack should start, the characters begins to do auto attacks again.
Fix this.
Also fix my thief’s steal. Both classes I play are unplayable atm.

Fix steal and remove being bursted mid-dodge PLS! Srsly.
OP, that’s typical PvE test you did (food). You have to know that balancing happens in both PvE and PvP. Same balances. Meaning if someone gets buffed in PvE, it’s moslty useless in PvP.
If you get nerfed in PvE, then either it’s nothing to worry in PvP or a nerf aswel.
Don’t forget we don’t have the same stats in PvP as we do in PvE. You cannot ‘test’ or ‘compare’ PvE stats with PvP at all.
Warrior Adrenaline decay is too harsh for PvP.
The decay happens too soon and is going too fast. I play all 8 classes equally last cpl of months (in PvP only) and the difference is way too big now. Kinda disappointed in the balancing since they put PvE and PvP balance together, which gives utterly useless balances in PvP. We have to literally suicide to get some adrenline off in PvP now.
We will see different builds now in this coming meta, but the trait-tree will quite stay the same for the Adrenaline.. Basically, as Caedmon said, you’re pushing every warrior going the same way. Exactly where Rangers were before to go spirit/condi. You buffed (too much imo) longbow so it becomes viable in PvP for the rangers. Warriors will just sit there watching and take the place where Rangers first were.
Either increase the adrenaline gained from attacking/attacks or make the decay less severe.
Steal bug and getting hit “mid dodge” happen a lot to me…
Getting “out of range” “obstructed” when I’m right next to the enemy is quite common, and usually means a quick death to me. I mean, planning ahead “my steal would miss because of bug” it’s kinda stupid.
I don’’t know why they changed it either. It was so perfect before…

+1. I want BALANCED and FAIR match-ups. Tired of try-hard carrying my team and still lose vs a team we should normally win. Put people with same leaderboard ranking and/or win ratio together and not beginners.

OK so in my experience and also those in top 100 pvp.. First of all, play w/e you and your teammates want. YTou don’t need a support guardian to win in top 100 (proven by CM) and you don’t need a thief aswel (proven by CM).
Though, the typical composition nevertheless is:
First comp:
1 support guard
1 thief
1 d/d or staff ele
1 dps or hambow warr
1 w/e u want.
Second comp:
1 support guard
1 d/d ele
1 staff ele
1 dps axe/sword warr
1 thief
Third:
1 Support Guard
1 hambow
1 axe/sword dps warr
1 engi/necro
1 d/d or staff ele
Just depends what enemy team you’re fighting against.

2) in hotjoin would be a pain in the kitten + trolling might occur as in repetitive join and leave the game just to troll OR rage quitters leaving every 5seconds so the other team will not enjoy this due the other team’s quitting..
