That is a clever tactic, that last one. I think my guild needs to employ all of these tactics to help our guild grow, since we are quite small. We are on Aurora Glade mainly, and our leaders are active but we aren’t having too much success recruiting. Are there any other tips we can employ, since we only have around 10 people last time I checked.

Thanks, that was really helpful. I known when each character was created because it was today. So next year on Friday the 16th of January all of my characters will get the birthday gift. Do you get the same birthday gift each year? Also after a year, wouldn’t you of probably already levelled your character past 20 though?
Are the birthdays based on your account creation, or each individual character? And if it’s account which character do you get it on or do you get it for all of your characters. And how can I found put when my account was made? 16/01/14 is when I made my characters, today cause I transferred servers to be on a higher population and with Bette guilds, but I’m not sure when my account was created. I am not sure whether I should have two of the same discipline. I have 5 characters so I would have to have two characters with one discipline. I’m not sure if I should give them a discipline that someone else has, but is relevant to them or leave m with one discipline. O think leave them since it would cost twice as much to level them up together and Simone else would be able to craft something better so it’s a bit pointless. I’m not sure though cause I’m new to the game so I don’t know what’s best
I am a new player looking for a newbie friendly guild. I don’t care what server it is on, as long as it is EU because I’m from the UK. I am planning on having a mesmer, engineer, elementalist, thief and warrior. I am willing to transfer to any server you want me to, since i have low level chars so i don’t mind redoing them. I am a casual pver, though i think i might do a bit of wvw when I’m higher leveled. I think I might do some \dungeons as well. Anyway, I’m on Seafarers Rest, I’m a causal pve player and I’m quite low levelled at the moment. I wouldn’t really mind transferring at the moment since my highest character is 7 (I level quite slowly) but I would prefer not to, since I have all five slots taken up so I would need to recreate them all. I don’t think I will get to 80 that quickly in pve since, again, I’m a slow leveller. I have never made it that far before on a character. My classes are a norn mesmer, human elementalist, sylvari engineer, charr thief and asura warrior. I think that’s all you need to know. I ha e all five of my character slots taken up, all with relatively different styles of play so I can have different playfulness by just switching character, instead of having to change skills and traits. I have a warrior, thief, engineer, mesmer and elementalist. My mesmer and my elementalist are my mains and I would say the rest are alts.

What type of engineer would play that style, as in what playstyle is that build?
I kind of like to play a mobile class, one with constant sustained damage and the ability to kind of dodge lots of attacks and be really versatile.. I really wan to survive flamethrower though, cause I love fire. Is there a build like that?

If you delete a character, their name will be saved for 24 hours and only you will be able to use it. After the at time anyone can use it. I find that 24 hours is enough time because if I delete a character it’s usually to make another one so I use that name, so I do it straight away. You will have enough time to reuse a name if you are thinking of deleting a character to make another

I am a massive pyromaniac, and I love fire, I always try to be a fire mage in the games I play. If I wanted to be mainly a fire ele, what weapon would has the best fire skills, one’s that would be easiest to solo with only on fire. I understand that I need the other elements cause that’s the profession mechanic of ele, but if I wanted to spend most of the time solo pveing on fire what weapon would i use?
I am stuck between these two classes, I’m not sure which one to have as my last character. I have tried both classes before but not for that long, only for 8 or 9 levels grinding so I know their style-ish and I’m not sure which one I like better. I’m not asking a stupid which one do I like better, I’m asking about different aspects in their full style.
Which one is more durable and has better survivability in pve, dungeons and stuff like that?
Which is an easier to play style, like how to play is easier to learn?
Which class is more beginner friendly, I’m fairly new to gw2?
And finally, which class can be traited for higher dps? I would probably use a condition build for necromancer, and an offensive but good enough survivability build for the guardian.

Is it worth getting a proper mmo mouse? I currently have a decent mouse with an adjustable dpi, because it is an fps gaming mouse because I play a fps (TF2!!!), and I was wondering if I should get a mmo mouse for the extra buttons it comes with so I can reprogram so I have so skills and profession mechanics on the mouse but they are really expensive. Someone suggested the razer naga but that is £70 and to me it is a lot to spend for a mouse. I was wondering if it was worth saving up for? I am doing fine with the default set-up but people say it makes things easier since they are more easily accessible.
If you help out with a personal story, all you are really doing is tagging along I someone else’s story, you for get their rewards because it’s their story you are in, not your own. You would have to do your story to get your rewards, you ar just helping someone else through their story, not doing your own

? I think I might do that, but I don’t know what classes to choose for my other three choices. I like a very mobile playstyle, that relies on not being where they are hitting, instead of having thick enough armour to withstand it. I’m not sure what other classes have playstyles relying on movement
I am going to go with a build that uses conditions a bit while still dealing decent damage without it. I am going to use d/d and s/p for the weapons and my skills while be hide in shadows, smokescreen, needle trap, scale venom and thieves guild. I’m not sure what traits would go with it though. I know I would need deadly arts, critical strikes and acrobatics so I can be a mobile thief, while dealing damage w+w/o poison. I’m not hoe many points to put into each though. What points should I use and what traits for my kind of playstyle?
I only am using 2 of my 5 character slots and I haven’t got either of them to 80 though but I was wondering once I hit 80 is there enough endgame content to keep me occupied, I don’t really like PvP though, or should I create another character on a different race and level them up. I’m not sure if there is another class like that, which focuses on mobility and dodging while dishing out the melee. So should I try another playstyle or stick with endgame content?
I am using focus offhand but for my main hand I’m stuck between the sceptre and the sword. I like the sceptre because it gives a clone in your basic attack and it has got quite good skills, including 3 which puts lots of stacks of confusion on an enemy. The sword has a boon stealing skill and gives vulnerability on its basic skill, though the clone skill has a 12 second cool down so I can’t put out clones as fast. I like both of the weapons but im not sure which one to use.
That’s what I’m doing at the moment, hammer for crowd control and sword for the bleeds.
I am currently going round pveing with a sword/sword and hammer build, swords for single an hammer for big mobs, but it’s not doing that well and I’m dying quite a bit when I face enemies a bit above me. I’m not sure what to go with next. I only really do pve, I’m not into PvP that much so I need a good pve solo build with decent survival an good damage. What skills and traits should I used and what weapons?
I’m not sure what to use as my off-hand with a sceptre. I’m going condimancer and I’m not sure which to choose. I think dagger would be useful because you can transfer conditions and give other conditions but everyone says the bouncing regen and vulnerability is the best. Again, I think the dagger would be more useful with my build but I’m not sure, cause there’s loads of love for the focus on the forums. I don’t mind about crafting because I have a warrior who could craft daggers for me, so it doesn’t matter that I couldn’t craft daggers if I know artificer an tailor for my armour and other weapons. What’s your opinion on offhand for a condimancer?
I’m not sure what questions to answer for my personal story step, because I don’t know what they lead to. It’s not like I want the easiest one, I just want to know what I do in the personal story steps for each question so I can choose a story I like. I just want to know what you roughly do in each of the storylines, I don’t really want a walkthrough please.

So what points should I put my beastmastery points into? Because I thought it would be good since it upgrades the pet stats, which is very important. Also I think I wouldn’t be doing too much swapping, I’ll use a Lynx for dps and a drake for tank so I don’t really need to change that much. I might put 20 in beastmastery and put the other 10 in wilderness revival to get the hide in plain sight skill.
