Rally doesnt work on ranger pets because how their pets are designed and I guess it’s not intended that rally doesnt work on a ranger’s pet death. I believe there is no reason not to rally when killing a pet.

WvW Walking set up bonus

Here a suggestion to allow some epik formation of armies with more organised stuff in WvW encounters.
When you are activating the WALKING then you gain something like +3000 toughness and regen +300hp/sec and control powers resistance (no mezz no immo no root no stun possible). Would benefit to everyone and has some use depending on situations.
Walking formation to hold.
Your thought on this?

As JQ claim over weeks to be stack with professionnal and veterans wvw player base, being 1st so long was like a magnet for fairweather players to transfer over now you are full but you have to face some other proplayers from lowers tiers that came for this said challenge to beat the overstack JQ. Seem not impossible and BG is really getting more and more veteran and skilld pro crew and guilds from lower tiers. Armies are forming and for now I can say that BG is stronger and best place to go as wvw player that love heavy fights. Some more guilds will complete BG crew soon and ensure it to stay n°1 now.
JQ times are over.

4) Buying any item in shop is destroying these gems used to acquire item (then the total amount of gem is reduced and their price per gem in gold currency increase.)
The total amount of gems available at starts is unknown. This total amount of gem has a starting equivalent in gold currency value.
As buying any item in shop destroy the used gems then the total amount of gem is lower with overal value in gold that keeps raising as long as people are adding gold to the “gold pool” to acquire gems. Then less gems for an overal gold value that keeps increasing in quantity makes each gem price per unit in gold value more expensive to acquire.
The only way to add some gems on the “total gem pool’” is whenever someone buy these gems and convert them into gold (this process remove gold from the overal gold pool and add some gems).

READ CAREFULLY THESE ARE THE KEYS TO UNDERSTAND HOW WORKS GEM/GOLD MARKET :

GAME START====> GEM POOL <———————————————>GOLD POOL

We don’t know what was the set up of gold and gem amount at game start implemented by Anet but we know that the gem-gold ratio was very low and can only be increasing over time considering how the system works.
Here is explain how the gem gold ratio are affected by various options:

>Option 1<
Buying gems for gold ==> -x Gem in pool <-———————————-> +x Gold in pool
Effect => Increasing the price of gems per gold // Decreasing the price of gold per gem
The balance is changing less gems for an overall higher gold pool value.

>Option 2<
Buying gold for gems==> +x Gem in pool <——————————-> -x Gold in pool
Effect=> Decreasing the price of gems per gold // Increasing the price of gold per gem
The balance is changing more Gems for a lower overal gold gool value.

>Option 3<
Buying items for gems==> No change on Gem pool <———>No change on gold pool
Effect=> The amount of gems on your account is reduced, these gems are detroyed // You acquire an item
The balance is not affected as you are using your account gems to acquire an item – Gems used to acquire item are DESTROYED (the only way to destroy gems)

>Option 4<
Buying gems for real money==> No change on gems pool <—> No change on gold pool
Effect: Increasing Anet incomes // GEMS ARE CREATED (only way to create gems) and directly added to your account not affecting the pool// no effect on the gold or gem value —- Then 1) if you buy gold with these gems it will add gems in the pool and the price of gem in gold will decrease (see >Option 2<). —- 2) if you buy item in shop with these gems, they will be destroy and wont change anything on the gem/gold ratio nor pools (see >Option 3<).

There is an exponential effect over time: more gem increase in gold value per unit more you need to acquire the same amount of gems then you need more and more gold to get the same amount of gems. Adding more and more gold and in the same time withdrawing gems from gem pool has an exponential effect on the gem gold ratio over time. It means in the next month price of gem in gold will increase much more than it did for the few first months.

Conclusion the best investment to make gold on long term which is 100% sure investment is to buy gem for gold as much as you can now and sell back in 2 or 3 month as price will be probably twice more (much more gold for each gems in few month). Gems can beconsider like shares on the gold pool, everytime someone will buy shop item for gem your gem overal value will increase and as Anet incomes are from selling gem for real money to acquire hot shop items and that they are most likely add more and more wanted stuffs for gems then the gems you are stocking will be worth more and more gold per unit. Over time this pool can only grow so it means anyone investing gold to acquire gems will get rich much faster than any TP flip in the next months. Owning gems is like being shareholder of the gold pool. Invest now and get 10X more in few month, that s my advice.

What about the bug of this immobilisation plant that last 7sec that you are said to be able to destroy to get free BUT if you ever jump while it s casted on you then you are STUCK IN THE AIR with no way to destroy it as you are bug like. Then 7sec is enough long to die in this bug jumping immobilisation estate.

Agree even if I will never play engineer anyway… Engineers should be able to cast a portal similar to mesmer skill based on asuran technologies that makes sense. I would even imagine that portal way out surrounded with an invulnerability dome that would last 3sec (like the dome that guardians can cast).

Would be a gold sink npc that would allow new players to shortern the time gap to catch back ascended gear with older players. Also allowing to gear alts a bit faster and without any kind of abuse.
So here is the idea: Allow a NPC Blackmarket seller to sell laurels and commendations for gold.
We would be able to buy only one laurel per day per account for 5gold.
We would be able to buy only one commendation per week per account for 15gold.
It would be a new efficient gold sink that would have much success as it would shorten by 2 the time required to gather our ascended parts for our main new gear or alts and also allow most recent players to catch back the oldests.

Well Anet is working on balancing warrior as last 2 updates, they have been buffing some powers and nerfing some others but no warrior players complain or contest any changes done so far. Warrior was underperforming and had not really any broken and overpower skill. (100blades + TW self buff were the only two that needed to be balance in my opinion// The incoming buff of signets are to be on par stats with the last patch buff for banners I believe)

After thinking about how to analyse the TP market fluctuation over time, I came to the conclusion that it can be manage like this :
This can be useful tool for Anet.
On Orthonormal basis : x => time // y =Average gold per player AND Index
Then we can compare the average gold per player among the time with the evolution of the TP index (if it goes higher than 100 it means prices increase – if it goes under 100 it means prices decrease in regard of the average gold per player value) here we have 2 possibility or the index 100 basis calculation is fixed in time as the first time you set it up OR every month the new Index become the 100 reference to see next fluctuation only.
First one : Give monthly the ratio of the average gold/player. All game gold/amount of accounts=average gold/player
Second one : Make a TP index like Dow Jones IRL: select 40 GW2 items (which are valuable crafting materials, would choose the 40 most used to set up the index with every T6 mats values also) At date X you set up the index at 100 (base value) which is determined by the current month average values of every trades completed (buying/selling) over these 30days. Then every month Anet can set up a graph in which appears the evolution of the market in real time in comparison of the average gold per players in game.
This tool can be automated and would really be efficient to manage the game outcomes itself to balance prices and rarity of materials and being able to see how the game is affected by any change implemented.

And for these who like to play the TP what about if Anet would implement the possibility to invest as shareholder in a virtual GW2 value through the “GW2 index market” (that would also require its own specific name) ? This feature is definitely missing for every TP players addicts :p

PS: the TP index system and method based on these 40 materials values evolution over time is the best way to play safely the TP actually but you have to make your own tool as it doesn’t exist in game (and your own tool will never be as accurate as Anet’s one – if they had such one).

If confusion wasn’t so overpowered in the WvW’s ZvZ environment, first, noone would complain and noone would build and gear so many mesmers. Btw a power that give the choice to activate any skill/cleanse and get damaged or wait doing nothing getting damaged by other regulars attacks is a kind of broken power that I would compare to a SINK action typed (This power effect: target pass his turn to use a skill on every turns or die or cleanse it but it reapply immediately to be sure noone will ever complain about it^^ lol). Killing people while using 1 condition and stay inactive while people kills themselves was soooooooo dumb just because of the intensity damage stacks. 50% decrease of damage is a good nerf well deserved for the sake of balance :p.

And the best is not to revamp any dungeon to fix that issue but just implement a rule that we can run each path of each dungeons only once per day per account. Problem solved and people will have a large different activities in game while in the same time it won’t turn any dungeon into a hardcore mode nor allow cheap farming hours on same place repitidly.

I would like to point out a power that last too long 7sec immobilisation “plant” destroyable : often jumping just enable you to destroy it as you stay locked in jump… Would be nice if it get fix on the incoming patch.

Why not having and allowing some change converters turning gold into laurels or guild commendations at a Blackmarket NPC: 5g =>1laurel per day per account allowed // 15g=>1guild commendation per week per account allowed (2 possible gold sinks just saying) IG currencies converters
About the real world economy and in game economy: The real world economy need more gold sinks :http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tobin_tax
At end in real world it’s harder to fix what is broke :p

This was sure nerf. Come on… I play warrior banner with a build and gear i like and whenever I would encounter a zerg using stacks of confusions i had to switch to pvt gear soldier’s rune and healing shouts traited with 3 shouts to clean up to 4 conditions in 30sec timeframe + the heal+3condition removal (total 7cleanse). I hate to HAVE to play specific build to keep my zerg and myself alive, I had a specific gear and a set up specially to counter this OP mesmer stack of confusion so now at least we will be able to play like we want. When a specific build push others to run another specific build to counter it then something is broke. TY Anet to fix that.

Yes, It will cause a problem. There is an issue with transmuting precursors. It won’t allow you to use it to craft the legendary item and then you ll own a precursor that you won’t be able to sell and also you won’t be able to use to craft the legendary weapon.
Never ever transmute nor precursors nor legendaries weapons.

Players SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO run only ONCE per account per day each paths of each dungeons. Overall game content and activities balance preventing farm and then more efficient than DR. If you consider a 24h activity than it has no sense to farm hundreds times the same event if you consider that you beated said boss it has really no sense to be able to do it again and again the same day at least. Once you killed said ennemy it has sense that you go to next step in frame.
Then players would have to have a mix of dungeons/events activity to gather what they need and not farm only one aspect of the game over and over that’s the best way to solve any problem with no need to rework everything all the time. As a counter part that each dungeons path can be run only once per day per account, then each of these dungeons path would reward, like world event does, a chest with 100% chance of rare item or above.
Not only it would push players to play all different pve content everyday but it would be better for game itself and for the less played contents. Also such set up would make the lenght of path/dungeon a non issue as you wouldn’t be able to bot-like act the said game aspect.

Well RE like CO, RISE or WM are professionnals armies of Kaineng. Kaineng is carried by few guilds with a lot of experimented players in them. Only thing we would need is few more guilds transfers with same level of play.

AOE would have the cap limit increased if the overal damaged dealt per target scale DOWN. counterpart of larger effect is less damage on each target to keep balance.

Well AR is a broken mechanism; as people could complete some high level fractal with some tricks like the 99% rez it meant at these very high levels that AR was not enough nor needed to complete it. In conclusion it means you can do any other lower level fractals without AR at all… Agony need to be a basic dot (damage over time: a tic every 5sec of a X amount of suffering) on all map from starts: that dot would be completely prevented carrying enough DR regarding to the level of fotm running. Then the cap reachable of fotm would absolutely not being able to be skip as it is the case actually in high level fotm.
Please fix fotm Agony mechanism to be effective.
Bypassing the Agony with some tricks rendering Agony Resist useless is a kind of pve exploit. (Any game items/rewards/gold obtained through exploit can be removed by Anet and then account possibly also suspended/banned.)
Don’t tell me that people in fotm40+ don’t know they are bypassing Agony mechanism without doing it intentionnaly
