I didn’t say that SFR 1 started first good old Caliban Ins didn’t say this too.

The first big groups we met was Far Shiverpeaks with NuGs, ZDs, NoX. Anyway it was a lot smaller than now (like 40 people instead of the 80+ zergs we see now) but it was really fun to play against. I remember ZDs even named this the “Zergotron” !

The thing i wanted to be remembered is that we have adapted to enemy group. When i was vizunah map commander (august – november) in coordination with HuP/WL most of the time, it was exactly like this:

1) one raid “pug” of 35-40 people and me
2) one raid WL with 25-30 people
3) 1 or 2 commandos of 5 people
4) scouts

And same thing on other maps with another commander (like bagoras with Vizunians and FM coordination for example)

Thats the only thing i want to be remembered nothing more !

@Ghedoriah: No, it’s a strong old rumor invented by enemies. We have 99,9% of french-speaking (mass france, and belgium/swiss and few people of some french-speaking other countrys). No canadian guild or other invention like this

Our foreign people are know by everyone because we are almost all on TS and recognize the accent. Everybody has link now, too, so we know each others

You guys practically invented 24/7 zerging on Euro T1…..out of ambition and the sake of the win.

Ambition can do that,as we all see right now.

A common misconception is VS blobbed to win, they didn’t. When i very first fought them in T1 they had many guild groups running around doing their own thing and the usual pug groups. They suffered what all the superservers have and people bandwagoned there, most the guilds left and they were left with a PUG force against superserver guild groups. If i was getting farmed all night long i’d blob up to stand a chance and get some lootbags

Instead of crashing and burning they took a step back and took time to organise their PUGs. Every superserver that hit them only made them more co-ordinated and more organised after that and now they are a well oiled war machine that can hold their own and works perfectly using ingame mechanics anet designed. They didn’t create the meta or use lowly tactics to win, that was our doing when we would farm them all night

Ahhh, quoted for truth ! someone who remember the real situation, thank’s anyway you just make an error: our guild didnt left at all, we builded all this with them. In fact, Grand Cross builded the “pug” support to make all of us stronger ! =)

konstantin check my previous post here. it require a lot of massive work. The first thing to do is being nice to them, teach them instead of putting fault of X problems on them.

For trollers the actual situation is not wanted and fun i prefer strong enemy. The troll on lack of ambition made me laugh btw

the things is you do not realize the work and effort it require to keep this machine alive. To talk for myself, sometimes it was 10+hours of work by day to motivate people, make motivation “rp” posts, do morale boost by ingame speech, solve dramas, make mega meeting to solves incoming dramas, making a site, images, mega call to arms, Ts image with speech every week, etc etc. It took weeks and months to build this. For the coverage it come from big commanders and me effort to keep people in, to motivate them everytime with speech and ingame action. All this made a lot of us totally exhausted.

Yes, maybe it’s too much for a game, but heh i wanted to make a better community and i was fed up with all “white flag” and surrender things french suffers in online games. I wanted to change things. And everyone on VS played the game, even when it was very hard versus SFR or BT instead of leaving/quitting we made the turtle and stand.

It’s totally idealist but when we loose i would put a big GG and a pic of a knight on his knee for you. I would like to see no troll, no lamers, only people enjoying and discussing about their epic battles on forum.

If you manage to do a true 2v1, sure it will be hell to counter this, but at what price? like someone said, camping the spawn with 2 servers versus 1 won’t be fun for you too.

I think the only solution for us is: persuade anet to change the rating system.

How?! you are doing the exact thing you blame on your post, and it’s even worst because you make an imbalance on their server. I saw all the post and i read all. They talk about skill lag, blob, impossible to win because you have too much people at night. Do you think this is “good fight” this? You are doing the exactly same thing you blame us. Sure my friend, like your screenshot show. Primetime discuss is pointless, since the beginning everyone know tick of primetimes always move, it’s never representative.

on all serves, sometimes there is mass beginners, sometimes guilds cannot enter, sometimes there is mass good leaders, sometimes no leader, sometimes people eat, etc. On ALL servs. Arguing on “primetimes” with country cultural and hour variation, is totally useless !

Nah this matchup was not fun at all. We must be all honest. But two things:

1) the idea to give elona tower was from ONE commander, and undecided in whole GC/VS. We explained it many times but the infinite loop is like a sport here.

2) this is true, the forum was peace and calm before all that. Some players came back with their maximum hate

You are not honest. Your own mates talked about it in some honest posts. Anyway, i’m starting to receive privates messages with angry people saying i or vizunah killed the T1. This is totally crazy.

You do not realize things started to change when the patch went out, when mega blobs started and when anet did migration on SFR. Blame Anet decisions, not us please. Ok, we are maybe too much in a fanaticism way, maybe too much, but we never wanted that. Stop accusing us of blob when i saw equal blob on every serv. Everyone honest know it. This patch and migration did mega damage to all of us. Thats the only truth.

how do you want the veteran commander to burnout at the BT/xaoc moment? it was in december. They were doing their best at this moment. You will never admit VS qualitys, even if we recognize BT/SFR power when they were at their best.

You know its directly linked. A part of SFR guilds leaved because they were a guild based serv and the free transfert was a problem in their orga yep. We admit it. But the second reason is not me and my work on VS, the second reason only belong to their choices, your choices, your own acts, the way you treated new players and your decisions to stop instead of keeping fighting even if things are difficult. Do not talk about disrespect with all the things i had to read and tank without going crazy, all the kitten we had to endure. @Sjaakie: i do not manipulate people. I have no money objective (0 ads on gc website), no dark god behind me, no kitten like this. But i like to teach, help, motivate, and create community yes. The situation you describe is sad for you, let be honest i understand it. But i cannot control whats happening on every map, it’s just too big.

graverr, you do not get it my friend. It’s just a tool to simplify orga like Kingface say, nothing more and 2 months before it was impossible, all servers was greatly focused on WvW. Do you imagine everybody stopping this to let guilds fights? with thoses scores? no man.

the second reason, i heard about guilds, even Vs guilds, want to migrate sometimes on other servs to fight. I just want to put a nice mini-orga with this. My goal, like on the WvW, is just to make things better. Nothing more.

Yep i’m serious. It’s just because i see a lot of people in GC/VS and other servs asking for something like this, and guilds do it themselves – why we shoudn’t try to organize a little more, without forgeting WvW of course? =)

i’m doing a survey since this morning, it’s 80% interested at the moment. If too much people say “it’s impossible” or “we dont give a kitten” it’s ok, not a good idea. We will see !

How about stopping whine, reject fault on others, not facing problems and repeating same things and not seeing every serv do the same for months instead of creating and trying to make things moves? . That would be huge improvement !

1) yup i agree, it’s a people magnet, we should never use it when GvG.
2) hmm i think we can announce it, but not the map, and communicate a LOT on the streams (like we did for the supplys and other WvW rules). Streams is winner-winner for everyone: more viewer for the streamer, no lag for the players, funnier conditions to the spectator (we can add an irc to comment it on the page !)
3) yep, the rules must be straight. We can even imagine a judge, like football ?

Please, i cannot control the people coming on the map. We even asked them to watch the stream directly, and thats what the tool will do too: We will make sign on the site with an old television with a message like “Please, watch streams instead of going near the GvG” and paste your streams url, + other communication like TS to tell them. It’s a winner-winner objective.

And please, stop with this zombies masquerade, all servers blob everytime since the patch. And i do not like this too, in the first day of the patch i asked people to split, but every server argue with the fact the others blob too. It’s time to stop with this.

I understand your comment, but instead of react like this, just tell me if you think the idea can go farther. Instead of jumping me, if you really like GvG, spread the word ! like everytime, the only people who can change things is ourselves.

We are working on something to highlight the Guild vs Guild. I have this idea since a moment already, and Sohz, member of Last Pride, thought about the same. He will carry out some designs and we’ll get 2 developpers + one in back up. The page will be used to display the participants, the next matches, the lastest matches, the whole thing in a bioshock infinite/1900’s graphic style. It will be named “GvG Showdown”.

As A.net takes too much time to improve the WvW and implement GvG, and the Guild vs Guild is interesting a lot of people, as much guilds as spectators, I think the 2 will co-exist soon.

@Imacop no friend, like i said previously i hate it, i come from arenas/battleground format. But i think every serv (the 3 yes) must do something against it. We should change the rules ourselves. Why you do not orga something, with news, poster like i did, etc? Just try to do it when server scores is “finished” and try to do not put Vizunians/SFRians in bad situation. It’s important i think.

@Masori: it never wanted that, i just wanted to act like everytime, i did all this for months you know. I prefer strong ennemy server, for all obvious reasons (fun, emulation etc).

No Masori, of course its not all this. All the things i did previously was not just CTA post, its was a lot more things to do to keep cohesion. And it take much time and energy. I did this biggest call to arm because i wanted to live this epic feeling… for people and friends..A last time…

I’m still here, but i do not need to comment whats happening on SFR or to brag for this win, it would be idiot. The situation is not really fun like this, and not cool for the SFR who still love their serv. The infinite loop about nightcap or blob is annoying too.

If we do not talk anymore about our TS attack, it’s because it’s still down and we have no solutions yet, except the TS much protected of a VS guild…

To react at the previous comment, the warcalls and commanders reorganization + the communication about the new commanders was needed, i didnt do this when i saw SFR problems, i did this when it was the moment =)

Empyre my friend, the only thing i can say is the burn out has started before SFR comeback and really exist. But i did two thing to counter it 1) last week i asked 32 commanders with a lot of beginners to refrain their fear to try, to write their name on a gdoc and relay 2) the two call to arms. But now, definitly it’s not because we were losing. Our burned out commanders are still a little anger, tired, and still need rest to be total honest.

WL gave their TS for all Vizunians, DDos right now. Almost 10 TS kittened. Im going to vomit so kittening sad. massive ip botnet in log. This is too much and disgusting my motivation, ruining many months work, myself i worked for the server like 10 hours per day sometimes and its all dying because all Vizunians do not know how to do without vocal etc
