Seems like we are a PvE server…

Invisible walls, hundreds of places where you get stuck, no clue how to get to skillpoint x, POIs, i don´t mind exploration and walking outside of a path i even like it, but this zone is probably the worst i´ve ever seen in any MMO.
Map Designer, what did you think when creting tht zone? It´s no fun at all and mapchat is full of ranting people getting stuck, asking how to get to point blah and skillpoint x.

They’re using an exploit that I’ve, admittedly, proven works. You basically hit you’re cloak and dagger then steal ability, in that order, instantly. The result starts the CnD animation while putting you next to your opp. You instantly go stealth when CnD finishes, then you backstab for about 9k. Between those 2 hits, +Mug which hes likely specced for hitting for about 4, any health you have left over is minimal at best.

I have NO doubt ANet will fix this, as well as the Warrior equivalent bull rush+hasted hundred blades. Regardless of if that mechanic is ‘working as intended’ no character regardless of race, spec, or traits should 100-0 someone in 1 second flat. Period. And thats NOT an exaggeration. Trust me. I was doing it all day Sunday before I got disgusted with myself and went back to my condition build but I cant tell you how many /tells I got from haters and other thieves wanting to know how I did it…

reported this in beta and they didnt fix it. i play thief as my main, but hate to play like this, it takes no skill. i hope they fix it somehow by maybe lower the backstab damage. such a build has a lot of disadvantages though (like 10k HP, no cc breaker etc).

ask elementalists how much damage they do with their meteor stuff…or greatsword wielder and i never seen a 8k crit on a single target from cluster bomb, even with full pow/prec/crit damage exotics and full stacks of bloodlust or accuracy sigils.

Personally i don´t like changing my clothes all the time. If i do wvw, i ususally use my top gear, changing to magic find stuff for pve (dungeons, farming nodes etc). With all the rings, exotic runes and weapons i get over 100% easily, the results are not so grat though imo, that´s why it would be nice to know, what magic find really does (hoping for a formula).

Been playing wvw with the guild the last days, yesterday at around 1am cet our numbers drastically reduced compared to like 11pm. at 2am we got the outmanned buff and the french started camp spawning with a force 3 times as big as ours while another french zerg captured anything. we couldnt hold the reinforced AB because they had like 3 times as many as we had.
VS is very night active and they generate most of their points during that time while fighting against NPCs/empty keeps or against serverly outnumbered enemies…GG french.
Personally i hope Anet makes stuff invulnerable between 3am – 8am. This would intensify the fights until 3am and hey, it´s the mist, you can explain anything in there…

Im done with WvWvW untill this gets fixed, Vizunah Square [FR] is the only server in europe who has that much activity going on during night time weekdays. - What exactly does rare loot mean? Yellow items or in general rarer loot?
- does it also effect loot from nodes?
- does it effect loot from bags?
- does it effect loot from chests?

Many people don’t use their best dps/toughness/healing gear anymore, but use instead their magic find stuff.

What does it mean to have for example 100% magic find?

nope, i just started a guardian lvl10 now, no problems in wvw. sure, i cant play it like i play my 80 thief, but i´m still pretty viable.

Patchnotes say rounds should be at 15min, but they are still at 5min. I assume it´s a bug?

Rank means nothing but an observation of overnight presence. Its like the greatest misconception of all time considering this to actually mean rank of ability. I dont even know why its published or why people consider it matchmaking, but to match up off peak population vs off peak population.

yes, there are several threads about it. I´m talking about the matchmaking though that bothers me. I don´t want to fight the servers every 2 days / 2 weeks.

- first floor could be even harder to attack than second, 2 ballistae on each entrance and the zerg dies
- 50 to 35, great change, you still need 4 towers to compensate the points SM generates which is a good thing
- 15min rounds, i hope that people realize that defending has become even more important, instead of zerg rushing stuff and leave it behind undefended

The matchmaking system is very boring, every second day we on Desolation fight the same enemies, Far Shiverpeak and the french. For them it´s even worse because the first placed and the second stay in the same matchmaking.

Why can´t you match 1st placed with 1st placed, 2nd with 2nd and so on?

Example:

The second round in this example might not be the perfect balance, but it makes the matchups far more interesting and we had some good fights against Gandara, Gunnars or Blacktide.

Getting matched with the french every round or every second round keeps people resigning from WvW.

Armorsmith makes it, just because it hasn’t been discovered and put onto the wiki yet doesn’t mean it hasn’t been found…

no clue, my armorsmith friend just told me that he was able to make them, i can ask him tomorrow if you want to know though.

that would be great! i wonder if they are armorsmith exclusive or if i can discover them too as leatherworker.

Same problem, small ui, 1980×1200 resolution.

2 days ago the Zerg farmed towers with one of the other servers circling clockwise taking every keep in their area. Made a lot of silver, karma xp so yes, I think attacking rewards should be reduced drastically or make defending even more rewarding.

Again, this is not a 24/24 battle… is a “from 3am to 7am war”, so as you can see your magical persistent WvW does not exists even now.

And what is your excuse for the rest of the day ? Why can’t you capture your positions back ?

I actually enjoy playing against the french, whenever i got a zerg half as big as the french and we run into them they flee like chickens, isnt your national symbol a (male) chicken? Maybe that´s why!

Its not impossible.. use a mesmer or thief, area stealth rush up and kill them.

This is a big issue, does only happen if servers are well crowded.

There are no canadians on Vizunah, they are just well organised, peple know what they do, the quality of the players is a huge difference compared to other servers. I bet they have a server wide TS they use.

This happens every day to me since at least 4 days. Sometimes it works, but only after reentering the eternal battlegrounds after you´ve queued up for it again and are lucky enough to get in.

Actual:
- enter Eternal Battlegrounds, head over to your lands keep
- find the entrance to the jumping puzzle, go through portal
- loading screen appears, circle in the right bottom corner spins infinitly

Expected:
- the jumping puzzle map should load obviously

Yesterday, you rolled back the Orr zone for like a minute, people got disconnected.
During that small downtime, i seem to have lost my transmogrified Shortbow. The bow itself was a blue one, i don´t care much, since i outleveled it already, but the Pirate Shortbow skin is important to me:
