I am very frustrated at the moment as I am 9 (!!) badges away from Gift of Battle and I can’t even queue up without getting dced first.
I last few minuted in WvW and get kicked out at the first encounter.
It’s truly maddening and GW2 related most likely, as I jst tested on WoW and that performs in its usual fine trail.

Today I get dced every 2 – 3 minutes in WvW, including trying to queue up for it…

I have completely the same issue.
It’s annoying as hell and game is unplayable…
It started today after the latest patch up.

And I (and many by my inquiry) also started to dc a lot on different occasions. For me it’s gate breaking, attacking keep lord or enemy player; for someone it was wall repair.

@drazzar.3042 – why? I click sometimes too. I used to raidheal and top the healer race playing one-handedly by mouse soloely (true, I have complicated mouse). I still one hand drive often because I have to. Surely you won’t discriminate handicaped players?

The Gift of Battle is the easiest ingredient to acquire when trying to attain a legendary weapon. The puzzle doesn’t need to be altered to make that even easier.

no it really is beyound easy to get 500 badges. its as simple as leveling a necro to 20 get increased marks and tagging enemy zergs ( just like you did for the t6 mats). can do it on a staff ele or even a gernade engi.

easily get 60-80 badges on a short wvw night

I bought the vast majority of T6, the rest were from clover gambling. I learned to play minor market in TP just for that, as I hate farming. I guess that kinda explains the badges. But thanks, my necro is 43 or so, didn’t occur to me to go wvw with low level just to tag…

You can use armor of other Orders if you have alt there via transmute if you want:-)

I know, the armour on the screen is Whispers (while I am not on the engi) But cheers for the info anyway

Its still there you just need the Grenadier trait for it to show up. kittening sucks right? have to dump 30 points into something for an effect lol.

What I find more annoying is when there is no one at the entrance, but there are several people camping at the top of the coliseum room after the dark room. Not only is it impossible to win 1 v 6 when they have that kind of high ground, but you get to do most of the JP before realizing that they’re even there.

Indeed, the screenshot I’ve posted is usually the first filter group. There’s more often than not at least one or two another one like these later in the puzzle, yesterday they were even fighting in the middle of the dark room.

No, I think it’s fair. It comes along with the PvP aspect of the JP. Also, it’s easy to get badges as an engineer. Equip a grenade kit and tag things.

Yes yes, very fair most of the time. This is what I see 9 out of 10 visits in the JP after the update. This group ain’t travelling; they’re standing there, camping. They don’t let you start, nor reach the fountain (duh!).
But oh well. It’s pvp, right… reeks of certain pvp realms in WoW at the moment over there; which is not a good thing.
I’ll just knock it off and suffer it through the week, hope AG drops a tier.

The jumping puzzle is, and should remain, a PvP zone. 500 badges takes absolutely no time to acquire if you WvW. I’m so sorry that you can’t take the easy way out to get your legendary. Pity, really.

Might be easy for you, but I ain’t no pvper, never was and never will, so I just hang ‘round commanders and follow the lead. I am an engineer with non glass cannon build and I like healing, meaning my badges do not come easily neither quickly. Running small groups, running zergs, I can get about 10 a day. If I am lucky.
And no, I ain’t got several hours a day to run WvW. I’ve got a family to tend to and I’ve been working on my legendary for months.
Even if I did only the jumping puzzle every day (which I don’t), it’d take me around 40-50 full days to get them badges.
People weren’t even complaining about that. They were, including me, complaining about enemy mesmers pulling us down the spawn spot often before you even load the screen, which ain’t by no mind fair.

Everyone does damage, everyone does support, everyone does healing, why take a kit that does less dmg and only gives you a aoe pushback?

Because with proper traits it gives you for one 200 toughness without the need to go 20 points in toughness tree.
It gives you might buff which can stack up to 10-11 with some gear and food (mine steadily hoovers around 10 stacks untouched, just with food buff). It also makes effortless to use for example food which grants you magic find under the effect of a boon, since you have one permanently.
It can combo field in area might.
It has a semi range so you needn’t to be licking your opponent’s armpits not squinting at the screen predicting the opponent’s movements to throw that great gernade kit at 1.500 range, hoping he will run into it.
With a FT oriented build you can easily swap for EG and be a complete support to your group (oh, how many exp paths been run with me like that and instead of group falling apart we’ve finished.)
It looks awesome. Burn it, burn it with FIREHHH, baby.

No, but really.
It’s up to that kaboom fan to use his kit, but don’t go bashing on my playstyle and kit just ‘coz you ain’t smart enough to make it work for yerself.
This game drew me particularly for the freedom in builds (Went for Rift ‘coz of that before, oh, the disappointment) and really, unless you’re very experimental or blind (or 6 years old), you can’t go wrong with builds. There’re so many, almost as many as players.

I run FT (EG instead when needed), 10/30/0/30, I have 3 sets of gear (Rampager with prec, Cleric with water, Knight with dolyak), three sets of assorted accessories and just swapping these around – without the need to change the build – makes a lot of difference. I can farm, I can support, I can melt down things.

I have fun and I make it work nicely and been complimented many times and asked for build and gear. Because I want to, because I have fun in it.
You don’t, good; don’t use it, use what you like.

Well that Video is blocked for most Germans, so don’t expect much Feedback. Anyway you are an organised guild group with heavy deff. So we use siege if it helps us. And as you can see it doesn’t even help always.

Use VPN or any proxy. We in Middle East have proxy softs in PC almost always, as otherwise half of the world’d be censored to us.
Ironically, often it is US itself which bans it’s sites and games from us, and proceeds to sell us a software to unblock what they’ve banned (not our governments).. but that’s another topic.

I agree it’s annoying – AG is facing two huge German servers who do not like a fair fight and always come in groups. That included yesterday’s camping at the JP’s entrance, and once I managed to get out, there was another group of mesmer/thief/guardian trolling right before the chest (at the way to the second fountain), killing any passerby, camping there for hours (!!??).

I’d welcome at least that invulnerability buff up on those platforms, so I can prepare and see what can I – or cannot – do.

I’m actually at the moment build around FT / precision and kills quite quick.
But I’m not spoilt.
And I learn my trade – yesterday I was forced into EG Cleric support for CM explo and everyone was amazed how nicely can an engineer heal the whole group, given he knows what he’s doing.

Yes… somehow this patch completely broke my bunker build. Next Time I build around gear, not gear around build, I guess… just need to postpone my Legendary aspirations and re-gear now :-(
Not that I feel so urged to play, at the moment… the broken Blizz Monk class has a lure again, after they broke my Engi

I am actually happy with the engineer, though between 60 and 80 I had a depression and created a Necro (whoa! That damage!)… but after hitting 80 I am happy to see I can really survive a lot of kitten with little effort (well, I am used to the class… so little effort to me) and actually heal up random people I meet in Orr while they fall into traps of mass pulling (yes, I am referring to greatsword users making muscles on me just to realize I am slower, but last longer :P )
I have altism and here and there play alts, but always come back to the Engi. So much stuff to play around with.
