Please post charts like this every week A-Net so people know where to transfer if they don’t want a queue! It will especially help the new players out that are coming into GW2 and really aren’t enjoying their servers WvW. If this is posted, they would know where they are most needed. Just a thought

The game is only what you make it, if you want to be apart of the zerg then go for it. If you want to be apart of an organized guild then join one (like mine) There are many ways to play the game and zerging isn’t the main one. Try being apart of a strike squad that hits the camps if you want to do something with a small amount of players while the main force is hitting keeps or harder to take structures.

Jade Quarry has been in T1 for as long as I can remember, so I’m sure you’ve won plenty of matches. Careful though, the #1 server tends to implode the fastest over time compared to the lower ranking servers. Just like NSP, HoD, SBI, and apparently SoS seeing how kittenty they have been playing this week. It gets lonely at the top especially when the servers in your tier don’t offer much of a challenge.

Next week SoS will be in T1 and the week after that they are predicted to go down to T4 or below since the match will be really close. 2 months and all servers will be in their proper place. I’m looking forward to seeing how things play out in the upcoming matches!

Well as long as you don’t make every kittening map the same then I’m sure you’ll be fine. Bring some diversity, give us a new scenario in every borderland! Change the terrain based on the theme of the servers name (ie Jade Quarry BL is sparkling jade rocks everywhere or Blackgate has every gate Black) Diversify the maps kitten

With free transfers ending, I’m still very happy to be apart of Blackgate. I’ve learned… lol soo much from this server when it comes to WvW tactics and community building. If you aren’t happy with where you are at feel free to come to BG anytime and we’ll rekindle the good ole memories you had from the best moments of your life. We bring the fire.

Its amazing to me that the biggest complainers of this move is SOR, when they are the ones exploiting the rating to jump straight into near 1st position without ever having to face a tier 1 server. Ah, well actually it doesn’t amaze me at all.

The SOR jump in rating is the reason they are reseting the points. They are out of whack and the system needs tuning, the result of SoR gaining so much rating in three weeks is evidence of this. BG earned its T1 spot after 8 weeks of hard hard week by week fighting to get to where we did. SoR now has the chance to do the same and earn their T1 spot instead of rocketing by pvdooring a dead server with a high rating.

BG did it, are you afraid to put in the work to earn it? You should be pleased, if you do get to Tier 1, it will be because you earned it, not because your killing siege raiser over and over and over again.

If Blackgate were to ever go against SoR, I’m sure the outcome would be as it was when we were in T2 against them for 11 weeks. Especially since SoR is not the only server that got new transfers

I completely agree with the reset 100%. Now the servers that deserve to be in T1 will have to work back up to it. Here comes GW2: W3 Season II!

But, if Blackgate kicks kitten in T2 then they will have a higher rating (80+) at the end of next weeks matchup. This also says the same for the T7 servers; if Darkhaven kicks the crap out of everyone in their tier and they have 90 rating at the end of next week, then they’ll be placed on the top of T1. This is how the glicko ratings work in its early stages It’ll take about a month to balance out.

Love this idea, great job Anet! Certain servers were abusing the rating system pretty hard.

That means everyones glicko rating will be reset to 0 on February 1st. I guess this week was just a good practice for all of us.

To my friends in [RE]“Rethesis”… It has definitely been a lonnngg time since we have met. If Blackgate were to drop to T2 and Kaineng skips T3 then we’ll be seeing each other again; except on different fronts. The real WvW experience you have all been craving is in T1, T2 & T3 where a majority of the large organized W3 guilds reside so I hope you understand what your server is jumping into if you skip a tier. Blackgate has gone against WM once before and if your guilds are anything like them then I’m sure you will do fine. With all that said, I wish you luck on Kainengs rise and I hope you all keep up the momentum so we can see our brothers again soon

Really glad to see Geisch’s server moving up to T1. If you think Blackgate had good coverage when we were in T2 then you’ll be mind-kittened when you see the new JQ. They recently got a huge amount of foreign transfers on both Euro and Asian times. If Blackgate were to fall to T2 then hope TC is ready for us and possibly Kaineng? Who would have thought lol…

Even on reset night, there are often no queues in the other server BLs. I logged on at 8pm server time last night (PST) and there was no que for the JQ BL. However, we had a good sized force on the map.

This is true, infact we had outmanned buff some weeks ago in our main BL on reset. We could definitely use more people lol

We’re doing one hell of a job in T1 but our coverage is still lacking. Come transfer before it’s too late!

Being on Blackgate has opened my eyes to what a true WvW server is about. If you don’t like the game, then transfer to Blackgate and you’ll fall in love with the community. Everyone is really relaxed and you’ll hardly ever see any Team Chat raging. The community is what sets this server apart from all the other ones. If you are looking for a W3 focused server and want to have fun in an organized form, then come over to Blackgate! We hit 403 players in our TS3 for this weeks reset night. Once you go Blackgate, you’ll never go back. Believe that

SoR does not have the strongest Primetime during NA… Blackgate shut them down during their prime which has been the case for the past 3 weeks. Come to Blackgate if you want to actually enjoy the game (plus we are moving up to T1 next week)
